@♆ Bom It was a relatively calm day, and so Taeyang didn't bother about hunting or anything. All he did was floating in the water. He was lying on his back and watching the sun breaking on the surface, when suddenly he could hear some sounds, especially the ones of a woman screaming. Taeyang turned around to view the abyss and to make out the noise's source. It was rather hard, for his eyes had to adapt to the darkness at first, but once he had, he held his breath. All he could see were sharks, there was a whole swarm of them, and even though he couldn't see the woman who had cried out, he knew she was in there. And he knew if he didn't help, she'd be dead in no time.
As there was no time to react, Taeyang simply reacted. He swam down there, right through the swarm of sharks, and right at the girl. He was faster than the sharks, and even though he could feel his scarred fin ache, he didn't stop. Rather than that, he took the girl, wrapped his arms around her waist and escaped the sharks. With her, he was slower, but still faster than the sharks, and even though they followed him for quite some time, he finally managed to escape them. Once they were out of sight, Taeyang took his arms away and brought some distance between him and the girl, and even though he could see she was injured, all he did was glaring at her. “You should be more careful,” he hissed. But then shook his head, cleared his throat and sighed. “Are you okay?”
Jinri watched in amazement as bioluminescent creatures swayed past her, leaving a faint shadow of light in the eternal darkness. She liked it here, it was quiet and calming. It was the perfect place to think or take a nap. Perhaps to read a book too. She glanced at her tail, wishing that it could shimmer and glow like the fishes around her.
Once again Bora visited her favorite place The Abyss. She was looking for sharks , and there it was one shark swimming towards her,he was one of her friends. Bora smiled and started to look around if no one sees her...
Bora swam with relief ...feeling the freedom ... The Abyss was her one of the favorite places to feel alive . She was swimming without a worries in circles and other shapes, just having fun... the darkness didn't bothered her...it was more interesting and mysterious like that.
It was so dark here. So cold. But Zitao wandered the ocean depths. He was searching for something. A pearl maybe. But it seemed like he was looking for something more precious, more important. Like he had lost something personal. And so he searched, and searched, until he ran into the abyss wall and cursed loudly in annoyance.
Darkness reigned supreme here. As did creatures one could only imagine.
Here the unthinkable roamed, living in darkness, and hunting prey.
Zitao drifted with the current, wandering with no purpose.
Here the dark creatures did not touch him, here he had made himself home with the darkness.
Sighing deeply, Selena swam deeper into the dark abys just because she lost a game with certain merman who didn't believed that she was brave enough to stay in the abyss for more than five minutes."If something happens to me, I'm going to hunt him in his dreams",she cursed under her breath when she heared a dangerous low hiss from her right side.
@♆ Choa He nodded at her words, looking at the wounds. They looked serious, and even though he had the urge to simply leave, he couldn't- not when she was injured like that. So he sighed inaudible, pursed his lips and looked around. “Yeah, yeah you should.” He mumbled, and looked at her. “Oh, don't worry about that, I'm not much of a good mender, as you might tell from looking at my fin, but I'm not gonna let you swim around alone like that. It's way too dangerous. I'm gonna help you find your purse and then... We'll see.” He gave her a smile, though obvious that it was a faked one, and finally raised his hands.
“What do you mean, pissed?” He asked, raising an eyebrow and shook his head. “I'm not pissed. I just don't understand how you could have swam into that net like that. You know what would've happened to you if they caught you?” He asked, grimacing as he did. He'd experienced it, after all. He knew how awful it was. At her explanation, he frowned, and laughed coldly. “Seriously? Why would you do that? They're our prey, too.” He said, not quite comprehending her motive. Why would a mermaid help salmons? “It would make more sense if you were on a hunt.” He noted, but added a shrug. He didn't want to be bad company, after all, even though he didn't want to come off all too nice, too.
When she took his hand, his whole body stiffened- he really did not like others touching him, especially not people whom he didn't know all to well- and he didn't return the gesture. “Don't worry about that.” He said, and felt strange as he was stared at like that. “Do I have something in my face?” He asked, taking his hand away from hers and searching his face for something strange. “You're having a weird look on your face...” He said, hiding away his hands so she couldn't take it again.
@♆ Choa [ It's not as long, sorry, but I'm on my mobile and felt sorry for not having answered yet >_< ]
He was happy as he saw hiw she managed with the shard- it wasn't the best qeapon against a net, but it was good enough, and when he saw how the first rope was torn apart, he heaved a sigh, small bubbles escaping his lips, and went on cutting with all his might. It did take them some time, but finally, the hole they'd created was big enough for her to get out- which she had to do very quick as many fish were on their way out, too. Once she was, Taeyang watched the silver fish swimming by, the way the sun sparkled on their scales, and they managed to bring a small smile to his lips.
It was the mermaid's lips that ruined the moment's magic and brought him back to reality. Eyebrows raised, he looked at her, and for the first time realized how bad her injuries really were and that she had to be treated- otherwise she'd attract sharks. Her words reached him a long tume after she'd said them, and he looked down to the ground befire shrugging. "No, I didn't, " he told her, his eyes mustering her fin. "But you really have to get that treated." He added, tilted his head a little, and pursed his lips. "I might be able to help if you don't mind good old herbal medics." In a way, he was angry at her- angry vecause she'd been stupid enough to get caught in a net and because the wounds would leave ugly scars- but on the other hand, he understood her, too- after all, he'd been in her place not so long ago himself.
"Make sure to stay away from boats in future," he said, and it sounded softer than he'd intended to.
@♆ Boa Hyorin could feel the goose bumps arise on her arms as the water seemed to get even darker. Something was...off. She didn't quite know what, but she knew it was not good. She continued to swim, swallowing thickly when it seemed something brushed against her tail. "Watch out!" Hyorin didn't know where it camefrom, but that was all she needed. The mermaid sped up her swimming, going as fast as she could, feeling something like a tentacle grab at her. A small scream flew out of as she came into contact with another being- a mermaid this time. Before saying anything however, she grabbed the others hand and began to swim off, not really thinking about her actions. Once a presumably safe distance away, the girl stopped, letting go of the mystery mermaids hand as she took in her new surroundings. Everything still looked the same and her body shook in fear, but at least she could now try and think of how to get out of the current situation.
@♆ Choa The sun had just risen and Taeyang just awoken, and was now out for a morning hunt. He loved the early hours, when the sun rays broke through the surface and warmed his skin, even if just a little. Some little fish were up already and swimming around cheerfully- however, they were just prey for Taeyang. He picked up some seaweed, too, since he liked the taste of it, and in between took himself come fish and calamari. It wasn't much, but it was enough to get him full. He was just clearing his teeth with a fish bone, when hundreds of tiny silvery fish passed him, all of them seeming to have a clear direction- which they usually didn't have. Regretting that he was fated already, since they were easy prey, he decided to follow them. And soon he know where they were going: There was a net, filled up with worms to get the fish there. Once again, he was surprised by how stupid those animals were. However, not only the fish were drawn to the net: In the distance, he could see a mermaid, too, swimming towards it. He guessed she'd never seen like that and thus wanted to know what it was- and if the fish felt like it was safe, then why shouldn't she, right?
If Taeyang had been in a bad mood, he'd just watched her getting caught. It was none of his business, after all, and he was tired of those stupid merpeople who thought of the humans as something so fascinating and worth approaching. He hated their mentality, and thought they had to make their own experiences with humans. However, he knew how awful it was being caught in such a net, and mostly: How hard it was getting out of that situation. He looked at his fin, at the reddish scars and the ripped tip and shook his head. Maybe she wasn't aware of what humans were capable of, and so he had to safe her.
He swam towards her, eager to get her away from the net, but he was too slow; when he reached her, she'd already swam into the net, and was now caught in it with all those little silver fish. He knew that she would now try to bite the net apart, but that wouldn't work, and it would be damn painful. There wasn't much he could do now.
“Idiot,” he hissed at her, though knew she wouldn't hear it, and watched the net slowly being heaved out of the water. That's when he realized he /had/ to do something. Her fin was caught in the net, and he could already see the blood that started to flow. He began searching the ground for something useful and finally came across an old glass shard and a rusty sword. He picked up both, swam up to her and clung to the net. “Hey, you!” He shouted, and waited for her to notice him. He gave her the shard. “Try to cut it open. I will, too.” And he showed her the sword, but didn't wait for an answer as he started cutting the net. And really, even though it was an old and rusty sword, it worked. Now he only had to be faster than the fishers that were trying to pull her up.
@♆ Hyorin Boa felt another shiver race up her spine as the water suddenly felt so much more chillier around her. Turning, Boa's scarred tail fluttered in an attempt to move but she wasn't about to get far - fear made her stiff, and the water suddenly felt the consistency of mucous. Her body felt heavy and it was similar to a nightmare. Driven by the sheer instinct to survive, Boa moved, and spared a glance behind her - that glint had become the outline of a familiar figure, but Boa saw a movement behind the figure-- "Watch out!" The words tumbled from her lips just as the creature behind the mermaid's figure lashed out but failed to catch the mermaid.
@♆ Boa That glint Boa had seen was none other than Hyorin. She had no idea where she was - she didn't believe she even ventured off that far. But here she is, trapped in darkness and trying to find her way out. The water was still and she didn't like it as she swam forward, only being able to see a few feet in front of her. Though the water was deathly quiet, Hyorin heard movement behind us. Swimming faster towards Boa's direction, Hyorin stayed alert, watching as best she could for anymore movements. Looking back in front of her, she immediately froze, catching little hints of orange and red. She wanted to turn back around and take her chances with whatever might or might not be back there, but something told her going forward would be the best idea. Following her gut, she slowly began to move again.
@♆ Hyorin Darkness encompassed Boa as she entered the abyss. The sandy floors of the sea suddenly dropped into nothingness - even though it was in her sight, just feet away, Boa felt the bonechilling sensation of being so vulnerable. It sent chills down her spine the way the water stilled around her. There wasn't even the soft purr of the current to fill the void: there was just her.
How did she lose her way this badly Boa didn't know - she simply wanted out. A little too soon, Boa ly to spot a glint in the distance. Her form went rigid and a shiver raced down her spine in fright.
Seolhyun left. I really want to be in this rp but it's too dead and most of them haven't rped in months. I will probably join back if it's active. I'm sorry. I really am.
