@☆ Junsu Bora was thinking deeply where is she? It another , different place from other places where she was... put the combination was awful. Water and earth...loud human voices and whispers that she hears coming from deep of the water... her head was spinning , it was complicated to try to calm down her thoughts when she didn't even walked straight... all the people's glares were mean and rude... all Bora could think was "humans"...but then there was someone who came closer and askedif she needs help , or if she's okay. "Me?" Bora pointed at herself and smiled " I'm okay, I'm okay" she repeated and searched with her eyes for a place where she could swim deep with her long tail without people seeing her.
"Finally!" Jinri exclaimed. "I got the last pearl." With her heart racing, she gracefully swam to the surface of the water. She took a deep breath and looked around; no one was there in the water or in the beach. She hesitantly swam closer to shore, a weird sensation crawling up her tail. "Am I getting legs now?" She thought to herself, she tried to glance back but sank into the water. Puffing her cheeks with air, Jinri witnessed that her tail had transformed into two long legs. She wasn't sure how she was going to swim now but she felt lucky that she was near the shore. She tried swimming how she usually does and found it tiring, so she tried kicking her new legs. That did the trick and soon the powerful waves carried her onto the sand. Panting slightly, Jinri unsteadily stood up, her arms on either side of her spread out as if she were trying to fly. Her legs wobbled with the unfamiliar feeling of gravity and her head throbbed. Carefully, she took a step forward, followed by another, and another, until she found herself running on the sand. "This is so fun!" She ran along the shore with ease, looking at the sand and the foot prints she left behind, not noticing the person that was in front of her.
@☆ Yifan /surveys the gloomy weather - cloudy but not the dark ominous clouds signalling rain/
/walks along the beach, step by languid step, as she peers out into the horizon; had come home from work a little while ago and wanted to explore the stretch of beach she loved so much/

/thinks to herself/
'I may not ever swim, but this is enough for me.'

@☆ Jiyeon This was a game, and Sunggyu was sure that he wouldn’t give in to her and react. When she suddenly poked his back, he almost flinched, his shoulders tensing. It was not like he hates being touched or anything—he was fine with a little skinship here and there, but this girl is a complete stranger. Strangers aren’t supposed to be interacting like this. Her actions are invading his personal space, and definitely making his uncomfortable. He turned to scowl at her, irritated at her excessive poking, only to find that she actually seemed to be enjoying this. He thought that it was rather obvious that he was in a bad mood, and yet this girl seemed oblivious to it. He could feel anger bubbling within him, and as much as he didn’t want to speak to her, he did, since screaming into the stranger’s face was just a matter of time.
Sunggyu turned to face her, eventually. As much as he wanted to yell at her, he couldn’t. His mood was bad, but that was mostly because of work, and not this stranger—yelling at her isn’t an option. He would be venting his anger on a stranger if he did actually yell at her. Taking in a deep breath, he calmed himself before asking politely, “Excuse me; can you please leave me alone?”
It felt as if she wasn’t going to leave him alone. Sunggyu felt it. Perhaps he was wrong, since he’s sixth sense isn’t accurate most of the time, but the feeling is so strong that it bothers him. To him, she looks like she is in need of a listener—but he isn’t in the position, neither do he has the time to listen to a stranger talk about her life story. Shifting his position again, he scoots further away from the stranger. He dust the sand off from his hands and looked at the stranger again, awaiting her reaction.
The surf was a bit stronger than it had been in a while, and the first few times, Yifan stuck to simply hydroplaning and riding the waves to and fro; finally, though, he caught his bearings and decided to go for something a bit bigger.
His muscles rippled beneath the taut fabric of the wet suit he wore – sleek material glided through the water with ease as he swam out a farther than he had done in a storm, and waited for the next wave to swell. It wasn’t long before he felt the murky salt water heave forward; the lurch that it caused was sign for him to begin paddling, and soon enough Yifan found himself riding a wave unlike most that he had in a while – it wouldn’t stop building and he felt the exhilaration as it picked up speed.
Within seconds, Yifan popped onto the board, and it was a magnificent feeling, riding the wave as it sped towards the shoreline – he cut across it, daring to ride beneath the crest of the wave and soon found out that his timing was a bit late. A glance up told Yifan that even crouching might not save him – he was gonna go under; accepting his fate in that split-second, he took the plunge with a deep breath and went under, tossed like a rag doll as the wave crashed a little ways from shore. Yifan was swept under, and spat out the other side: behind the wave. He didn’t mind – he had trained for this, and his endurance conditioning helped him to build up the strength for this. The only thing he wasn’t ready for was the nose full of water he got afterwards.
Resurfacing with a gasp, he tread the calm ripples, watching as the ocean seemed to quiet for the moment, and it was a godsend. He had a moment to catch his breath and let it register that his board wasn’t attached to his ankle as it should have been. A sweeping glance around helped him to locate his board, but in that brief second, Yifan spotted a flailing appendage – what looked like an arm – and without a second thought Yifan swam towards his board, where he last saw the splashing.
It took only a minute of fishing before Yifan found the lanky young man below the water's surface by luck - Yifan had to find him blindly; the salt water is too much even for the experienced surfer. Surfacing with one arm clinging to his board, and the other around the young male, Yifan gasped and heaved - his heart pounded still, yet to realize that the danger was over for the most part. "H-Here; hang on if you can," he muttered under his heavy breath, taking a moment to catch his breath and trying his best to tread water.
@☆ Jiyeon Being insulted by someone would always leave a bitter taste in one's mouth. Sunggyu had a rough day at work, being yelled at for things that he didn’t do, and being insulted because of something he couldn’t help with. He swore that his employer and colleagues are horrible people—his colleagues pushed the blame onto him, while his employer refuses to listen to his explanation. He figured that he was going to be the scapegoat for the mess that his colleagues made, since he’s the employee that probably wouldn’t make any difference even if he’s fired. Denying wouldn’t do him good, he’d be fired even sooner if he did that—so he hung his head and apologised, for something he didn’t do. He would quit this job, if the pay was not what that was keeping his family alive.
For once, he didn’t work over time (he really could not stand being in the stuffy workplace anymore—especially with those people). Sunggyu loosen his tie, breathing in fresh air as soon as he stepped out of his office. He made his way to the beach, which was rather near his workplace. He had never been there, but he heard his colleagues talk about having an outing at the beach (he was, of course, not inviting to that outing).
Sitting at the beach, watching the waves rush up the shores, and retreats soon after calms Sunggyu’s mind. He felt at ease, almost like he’s home. His thoughts were wandering, until someone sat down next to him, yanking him back into reality. Sunggyu glanced at the girl, before scooting away from her, leaving a gap between the two of them. He felt uncomfortable, sitting with a stranger who can’t seem to stop staring at him. Annoyed, he grunted and turned away from her, his back facing her. She was staring at him (rather) creepily, and he isn’t up for this kind of games today.
Living on the beach was glamorous-- for the first few weeks. Over time, it wasn't that the beach became less special. It held a lot of meaning to Yifan, enough that he didn't want to move, enough that he figured he could do something with himself, his life. The beach simply became the norm - it was all that he saw from his hellish year in college. ( And having gone to college for a year, he realized that it wasn't for him - sitting inside, reading, breaking his back for every single revision wasn't the way he learned. He needed something tangible - Yifan needed to wrangle life with his own hands, he needed to get a feel for what balanced out where. )
Looking back on it, he was a bit of an idiot not to take a second year and look more to the business courses offered but he took a swing at life and moved here, to the house inherited from other generations too far back for him to have met in person.
Soon after moving in, Yifan hopped from job to job - taking his resume around and his year full of decent, passing-but-/just/-passing marks, before taking out loans and starting up a place of his own. 3 years later, Yifan was well established in the tourist-y area of the town, and looked out on the beach from his water-battered porch.
Taking in a deep breath of air, Yifan watched this afternoon's grey skies. The breeze picked up here and there, and it looked like a mild storm was coming. The edge of his lips curled up in the slightest, the beginnings of a smirk, as he moved to get dressed. The surf was about to pick up.
Seolhyun left. I really want to be in this rp but it's too dead and most of them haven't rped in months. I will probably join back if it's active. I'm sorry. I really am.
