In this place, humans aren’t even aware of the existence of wolves.

Hide your identity, don’t let anyone know who you really are. They won’t accept you, they’ll only think of you as a monster. A beast who can’t satiate oneself, an abomination waiting to strike them down. Don’t even try to explain yourselves to them, they won’t listen. They’ll only end up barricading their homes or chasing you off of their property.

Think of it like what can happen when one finds out about a supernatural being and freaking out over it — except that this is the reality and case for everyone involved.
