@h joshua α It was another new morning for Jacob to surround himself with his lifetime passion — flowers. The early hours of the shop were usually quiet, as he assumed that nobody would be up so early looking for bouquets, so he busied himself with the basic tasks for the day, watering pot after pot and carefully snipping off dead stems and withered leaves. His cup of coffee steamed away not too far from him on the counter, the smell of caramel blending in with his own scent as he worked an hour into the morning.

Jacob returns to a lukewarm drink, but his sweet tooth makes up for the lack in temperature. He quietly arranges the Hydrangeas on the counter, tying a baby blue ribbon around its pot before turning to the entrance, the telltale squeak of a door and a soft bell telling him that he had a customer to attend to.

"Good morning," he greets happily like usual, just a tad bit bouncy from the caffeine. He sheepishly lowers his coffee cup down where nobody could see it, blinking innocently as he placed the floral catalogue onto the countertop instead. "How may I help you?"

@b jacob Ω Today was one of his off days. After spending time to spray and cover himself with the scent and pheromone blocker, Joshua steps out of his apartment and into the early summer sun. It's warm, beautiful, and bright out which makes him even happier. This is his favorite time of the year when things are growing and blooming, new life are created and it always fills him with joy and warmth.

As he steps down the quiet streets of his neighborhood, he makes his way towards one of his favorite places in the area,a flower shop. As someone who values and gets so much joy from living things, especially when he lives alone, he finds it insane that he's the only being that can live in such an area, large to him but quite small to others. It was only what he can afford.

So to fill in the emptiness and bring some life to his apartment, he decides that today is the day that he will share his living space with one of the most peaceful organisms in the world, a plant. When he arrived at the shop, a grin is already on his face, eyes flickering around to take in the greenery as he inhales the scent of many different types of flowers and plants.

Because plants are not something that he usually interacts with, he has bought a list of them that are of interest to him. He's really hoping that they're beginner plants, something that can grow to be large and healthy but doesn't require any complex care other than some regular watering and sun exposure.

Roses always caught her attention. Despite how cliched it was, their vibrant colors and the musky scent of them always appealed to her. They were beautiful, and she always loved walking through the flower shop when she found herself going that direction. She never bought anything, but she always admired the beauty of the flowers and the scent that always filled the shop. It was one of the few places that always calmed her anxiety and today was one of those days she'd gone on a detour to admire the new flowers set out. It had been a difficult week and she was struggling mentally to deal with it all.
