@- ❛ ɢ ❜:emilia seong。⁰¹ winter laughed softly before she would let herself to pat emilia's head once again before showing the textbooks that she was once restore to the normal state. "don't worry about the books or anything else, i know how to fix it but we gotta try it out more. so, you gotta do it slowly first by your wrist then we will do the spell without the wand," winter patiently lift her wand to show emilia while waiting for her to grab onto her wand and carefully move the wrist of the younger gryffindor, making sure that she was following the wrist movement slowly.
@- ❛ ɢ ❜:winter llewelyn。⁰³ "But!" Emilia started to protest. How many textbooks and items of Winter's will she destroy before she finally does the spell correctly? How stressful it was to do this for school. "I don't understand what I am doing wrong! Aren't I doing just as Professor McGonagall says? Oh, I never have done well in her class, I hate transfiguration!" Every year, Emilia had gone to the professor for extra help and each session she could see all the hope become lost from the Headmistress's eyes. Was there any hope for this girl that seemed to fail at every spell, that is unless it has been during one of those terrifying events. Maybe she was only good during life and death situations.
@- ❛ ɢ ❜:emilia seong。⁰¹ the accent that winter heard when the latter said it, ah that was where she believed maybe the magic wasn't yet used by the younger one accent but unfortunately, the magic went off to the wrong way and causes the ink to explode. "duro!" with a calm voice of winter that hardened the ink into a small rocks including the one that planted on the paper, she got up to gather the rest of the textbooks back properly before placing down on the table which make her smiles the brightest, is this how it felt like to have a younger sister or something? by her thought that made her hand move to gently pats the young one head while tilting her head so that she was able to look at the latter properly. "hey, it's alright. we can do this until you can get it right and don't worry about these textbook, i have spare for you if you ever mess it up."
@- ❛ ɢ ❜:winter llewelyn。⁰³ ( H ) Emilia's fingers fidget in response to the elder girls comment on not causing things to explode. There had been times the poor girl was afraid something would, but luckily she had only seen a classmate or two do so. "I guess you're right, but whenever I've changed things back to themselves they end up dead!" She whined softly. It was rather depressing since Emilia liked cute animals. Even the mice she accidentally killed caused her to cry. With a soft sigh, the young Gryffindor picked up her wand, pointing it at the newly turned cup. "Fera verto." She said it with a slight accent, something that could not exactly be helped. Her wrist flicked ever so slightly the wrong way and despite the cup turning back to what it was to be, the well ended up only restoring itself partly, causing ink to go everywhere. "Oh no!" Emilia cried as she scrambled to move their textbooks.
@- ❛ ɢ ❜:emilia seong。⁰¹ // sorry for the long delay
"hey it's okay to change to something weird but at least it was not something explosion, don't you think?" she said as winter gently patted the younger head out of the reassure so that she doesn't feel the pressure of making the transfiguration to the wrong way. winter give a little thought for a moment before she took one before swinging her wand with a soft voice, "fera verto," as hers managed to change into a nice vintage cup before turning to emilia with a smile. "now, can i see how do you do the spell? maybe i can try to see what is wrong?"
@- ❛ ɢ ❜:winter llewelyn。⁰³ ( SH ) "Are you sure?! But what if I change it into something weird?!" It was something that did happen quite often. Emilia would successfully transfiguration her item into something, but it was never into what was requested. Once, when transfiguring a mouse back, it ended up coming back dead. She was sad at the time, but she ended up just feeding it to her owl. "What do you want me to transfigure?" She asked as she picked up her ink well for her quill. Possibly, it would be easier to start of with something not living.
@- ❛ ɢ ❜:emilia seong。⁰¹ the way this little one expression at how each classes she finds it hard just amused winter, like is this how its feel like to have a younger sibling that quite baby than herself? she look attentive at where the young one stop her lesson at which make winter smiles, she gave a nods before taking out a quill to place it in front of her. "maybe, i want to see how you does it so maybe from there i see what i can help you to fix it? don't worry about anything else because i have plenty of things in advance just for this for you," winter gave her a little pat on her head to ensure that there is nothing to be worried if there's broken things or stuff.
@- ❛ ɢ ❜:winter llewelyn。⁰³ ( SH ) If Emilia were being entirely honest, every lesson she had been completely confused by. Possibly herbology was the subject that she deemed as the least hard, as she did thoroughly enjoy gardening both magic and nonmagic plants. "Hmmmm...how about we start with Transfiguration?! I do have such a hard time doing as Professor McGonagall asks." She picked up the text book before taking her seat in the chair that Winter had offered. She opened the textbook to where their last lesson was. Transfiguring a quill into a rodent. Every time Emilia had done so, she had a horrifying looking creature or it had been dead. "I always struggle with these things. I don't know what I can do to make it right!"
@- ❛ ɢ ❜:emilia seong。⁰¹ just as she was about to get ready all the items on the table but only to drop a book by her startled reaction which she was shocked from the younger cute voice, she picked it up to put on the table as winter stared at her with a wide smile. "ah ! so you're emilia," she hold herself back not to say anything longer but to pull the chair out for the younger one and for herself beside, she lay out the books that from the easiest to the hardest so that the young one able to choose which one she would want to have some help. "well i have the books here so you can stack from the one you don't understand the most to the one you might be confidence in," winter waited for emilia to take a seat and see how she view the lesson in the way winter might think it could be the easy way to understand, or maybe it just her knowing her own way from how she used to learn in the muggle school.
@- ❛ ɢ ❜:cynthia terrence。⁰³ Upon receiving the elder girl's text, Emilia stood up from her chair by the fire and waved frantically at her. "HI!" She said very excitedly and loudly, as if the room were packed with other students. It wasn't as many of them went home for the holidays. "Are you ready to go to Hogsmeade or did you want to wait a bit until we leave?"
@- ❛ ɢ ❜:winter llewelyn。⁰³ Emilia was just returning to the Gryffindor common room from grabbing sweets at Hogsmeade when she received Winter's message. She had decided to not answer as the other girl would see that she was arriving in just a mere second, thus it would just be a waste for her to take the time to send a highly obvious message back. A large smile formed on her face when she approached the elder girl, a box of Bernie Bott's Every Flavored Beans place before her. "Hello! I am here," she said with a soft giggle. If she were being honest, she didn't want to study over the break. But her nearly failing the exams made her think otherwise. "Thank you very much for helping me! What lesson will you help me with first?"
@- ❛ ɢ ❜:emilia seong。⁰¹ after receiving a random message from the unknown junior which suggested by the professor which somehow make her have a mixed feeling, maybe or maybe not that she was one of the best until the latest examination which make herself lose confidence but maybe she have a thought. she brought out two of her old books on the first year where she secretly kept it in the dorm while the other two from the library which might be little useful for the younger one. winter took out her phone and stare at the screen for a good minute to figure before she realised the message icon was just below it, ah how much she wish she can used it often but only if she have a reason to do so but she opened out the message app to send a message to the younger.

@- ❛ ɢ ❜:rhiannon slughorn。⁰³ The topic of her brother always made Hanami feel very bothered, in her life, Yuzuru is the only person she could look up to. Hanami always boasts to her friends about how amazing her brother is, but he ended up into an unreachable abyss where Hanami and the rest of the family doesn't know. When she set foot to Hogwarts, she can't tell a single soul about how amazing her brother is, because they might think she is going to the same path as his. She snaps out of it at the moment as she shakes her head, "Ah! You know my family, we Inazumas likes Quidditch, it passed down to me and Yuzuru nii-chan." She smiled and puts her both hands on her side before smiling proudly. "Otou-chan told me that our great great great GREAT grandfather, Yorichi Inazuma is the first transferee from Mahoutokoro to Hogwarts. So Yuichiro nii-chan and I weren't the first Inazumas to enroll here." She told Rhiannon. "How about you? Hirakata's are also fond of Quidditch." She asked her.
@- ❛ ɢ ❜:hanami inazuma。⁰³ Expelled? Now that was news—expulsion from Mahoutokoro entailed a lot of things, but the most common reason would be... "Did he shift into practicing the Dark Arts?" Rhiannon mumbles quietly to herself, before snapping herself back into focus; Hanami looked nervous, as if there was something bothering her but she wouldn't tell anybody. And while that made Rhiannon worried for her friend, she chose to stay mum, knowing that in time she'll open up; for now, she'll settle for a small catching-up session.
"Oh, well—I thought I'd be Slytherin, too," she chuckles sheepishly in reply to that last question. "My grandparents have constantly assured me that it's alright for me to be in Gryffindor, but it's different, you know? Takes away the whole point of being a Slughorn." According to Eugene, she's the first non-Slytherin in ages, as if that was a feat in itself (maybe it was, but really?). Perhaps she didn't have enough of Elsworth's blood running through her, too much of Minaka, and really... both options were still irrelevant, since they didn't even bother with their own bloody daughter. "Humility aside though, so far I've done nothing but flourish under Gryffindor, so I guess all's well." Hooking her arm around Hanami's, she grins. "But enough about me! What's with you trying out for the Quidditch team immediately upon admission, hm?"
@- ❛ ɢ ❜:rhiannon slughorn。⁰³ Hanami looked down and nodded a bit before sighing, "Otou-chan sent me and Yuichiro nii-chan to enroll in Hogwarts-- not because Yuzuru nii-chan was missing, Yuzuru nii-chan got expelled..." She fiddled her fingers. Hanami doesn't want others to know the reason why they enrolled in such a prestigious school just to look for some clues and whereabouts about their older brother. "But Otou-chan told us we can enroll here so we can have different perspective in here than Mahoutokoro-- Don't worry about us, Hikari nee-chan is an alumni from Mahoutokoro." Hanami smiled and gets the letters, "By the way, I never thought you are a Gryffindor... I thought you'd be Slytherin?" She asked.
@- ❛ ɢ ❜:hanami inazuma。⁰³ "Yes, well, I never thought I'd be sorted into Gryffindor when I arrived either, so... surprise?" Rhiannon chuckles, hugging the perky Chaser back. Hanami had been one of the few friends she'd made back in Mahoutokoro; the other students were either scared of her, or used her surname as an excuse to ruin the so-called hierarchy. Being a Hirakata wasn't easy, that she could confirm—wizards and witches in Japan had high expectations of her (thankfully she delivered), and murmurs were inevitable wherever she went. Hanami had been a wonderful reprieve, though, coming from a prominent Japanese wizarding family herself. Birds of the same feather, flock together, as some of the kids back then would say.
Rhiannon playfully taps at her friend's temple. "Hmmm, I don't know—seems like you're missing a few cells from that blow," she grins teasingly in response. "And yes, I did think you would be finishing at Mahoutokoro. You Inazumas have always been consistent, haven't you?" At Hanami's revelation, though, her brows shift upward in surprise; Yuzuru Inazuma had been a model student, from what she'd known. Hanami used to drone about how she idolized him for hours on end, and even Baa-chan and Jiji spoke highly of him, used to tell her about how he'd make a wonderful wizard when he came of age. "He left? Voluntarily, on his own? Is that why—" she stops. It might be an Inazuma family problem, and she didn't want to pry; instead, she looks inquisitively at Hanami.
@- ❛ ɢ ❜:rhiannon slughorn。⁰³ "Hana-chan? How did you know--" Hanami then realized that it was her childhood friend from before, she smiled wide and walk closer towards the other. "S-Sacchan?! Is that you?!" She gasped and hugs her before she lets go moments later. "How are you? I never thought you're in Griffindor, I thought I was the only one." Yeah, she thought she's the only Asian in their house but it gave her a joy when her childhood friend is also the same house as her. Hanami pats her head gently and giggles, "I didn't lost a single cell from it, don't worry. Plus, Madam Pomfrey gave me a medicine for headaches just in case." She told the other before sitting back on the couch with Nami on her lap, "You thought I would stay in Mahoutokoro until my 7th year." She chuckles. "But me and Yuichiro nii-chan are here because..." She looks down at the letter that Rhiannon is holding, "Well... Yuzuru nii-chan left and went missing."
@- ❛ ɢ ❜:hanami inazuma。⁰³ Ah, all that screaming has made hoarse.
Rhiannon groans to herself as she massages her neck, distantly wishing that the Great Hall would at least have umeboshi for their meal later. Perhaps even some ginger tea? They really should have some variety around this place, she's pretty sure she isn't the only Asian student. "Maybe I could just ask baa-chan to send me some treats," she mumbles, finally getting out of bed; mornings after Quidditch matches were always great—especially if your house won. Not that she's fond of the celebration that comes afterwards; Gryffindor can get pretty rowdy when given the proper avenue and she's just... not one for that. First on her agenda, though, she thinks as she finishes her morning prep and finally dons her robes, is to look for a certain Chaser—her friend had taken the brunt of a Bludger at the match, and she hadn't seen much of her during the party, either.
It's a good thing she'd woken up relatively early, because she finds the girl in question just down at their Common Room feeding her companion. Rhiannon grins and tiptoes her way to Hanami, laughing when her fellow Japanese student jumps up at her quiet "boo!", clutching her guinea pig like a lifeline. "Aren't you a jumpy one, Hana-chan," she shakes her head, picking up the piece of paper that had fallen from the other's lap in her earlier scuffle; a quick peek told Rhiannon it was a letter from Hanami's family, and she hands it back over. "Speaking of jumpy, though—how are you? You got hit pretty bad by Kang during the match."
@- ❛ ɢ ❜:rhiannon slughorn。⁰³ After their celebration for winning their first Quidditch game, Hanami recovers from her concussion upon getting bludgeoned by a bludger during the match. She went to the common room and sat on a couch to feed her hungry guinea pig, squeaking as Nami begs for her to feed her. Hanami chuckles and pets her familiar gently. An owl came and drops a small box, it was for her from their mother and father. Hanami puts the sunflower seeds beside taking the small box and opened it, she saw a letter and photos of her, Hikari, Yuzuru and their little brother Yuichiro when they were younger. Then she reads the letter sent by her father, he had told Hanami that there were a few sightings of Yuzuru yet the witnesses were obliviated all of a sudden. Is this their brother's doing? She is sure Yuzuru can cast obliviate to someone when it is necessary but not at this one. "Strange... Nii-chan wouldn't dare to do that." Hanami spoke as she finished reading her father's letter, not realizing someone is behind her until it spokes behind her which made Hanami surprised and jumps out of the couch. "やばい! だれですか?!" Then she turns around and sees a familiar figure, "I-I'm sorry! I'm really a scaredy cat sometimes." Hanami told her and scratched her head as she smiles nervously.
"Good... Evening?" Finding the quiet common room a bit unsettling, Era peeked around to see if there was somebody here after all and he had just missed them.
