@✵ jeon minhee ᵖʳⁱᶻᵐ there hadn’t been a greater time for kion to have wanted minhee out of his sight until now. her presence already being fairly despicable, because all she reminded him of was their time together that was forcibly cut so short. but now that she was here in the flesh— not on tv, posters, or anything that truly devoid him of her genuine entirety.. and in tears? he wanted her out. all the more so because it pained him to see her like this. it pained him the most that she still had so much effect on him after all this while, when in return she could easily toss him aside as if he were disposable trash. and yet, he could not thoroughly bring himself to do the same.

“jeon minhee, if you were in my position.. do you think you would be forgiven just like that. do you think you should be forgiven at all?” he sighed, grabbing the nearest tissues and opting to wipe away at what semblances of her tears he could find. after all, he had been raised much better than to let a girl in distress be led astray— he wouldn’t want anything of the sort to happen to his baby sister, kion was certain it was a shared sentiment with ace. but more than that, he couldn’t bear breaking the sole promise of not being around to wipe away minhee’s tears, at least now that he had the chance to.

“you’ve come all this way, but what for? after i forgive you what happens next, do you just go on your way feeling like things have been resolved?” he sat back, eyebrows furrowed in concentration as he now finds the courage to fixate his gaze upon hers. genuinely give the girl a piece of his mind after how much he has held back. “you tell me you’re sorry but i don’t know if you really do understand the wavelength of just how much i’ve been hurting on my own. just how much you’ve hurt me, because i still can’t get over you no matter how much i’ve been trying, i hate myself for it but i’ll still keep going. i’ll still keep trying.”

getting to his feet, he takes a deep breath with his hands on his hips as he felt a tight squeeze in his chest the more he sat near the female. “i don’t know what would have made things easier for the two of us. maybe you could have told me you stopped having feelings for me? maybe you were just with me because you pitied me, and i never really deserved you, anything could have gone. but to suddenly up and disappear, for something both of us promised to work together towards? i’m sorry but i don’t think i’ll ever understand that. and it’s okay if you hate me for it too— because i know, regardless of any chance or opportunity that was given to me, i would have always chosen you, and only you, minhee. and it really does that you couldn’t have done that for me, you couldn’t choose me.”

ultimately he stood to get to the door, ready to show her out as he bit down hard on his lower lip. the apples of his cheeks pooling with an awfully familiar heat, and one that he’s felt many nights prior when he too would be in tears. crying out to the heavens that never seemed to answer in his dire times of need. “but that’s okay, i’ll learn to live with all this. i’ll learn to live with your choice and be happy for you. you deserve it. forgiveness though, i don’t know about right now but it’ll get there. everything will be fine.”

@✵ maekawa isekai〘ᴋɪᴏɴ〙ᵗʳᵃⁱⁿᵉᵉ There was no mistaking the coldness and the bitterness in Kion's voice. And Minhee knew that it was entirely her fault until he became like this. She was selfish enough to throw away what they had so she could make her debut with Prizm. While some people might say that it was the best decision to do that, Minhee didn’t think that it would sever their bond this badly.

Almost as if all those love words, their kisses disappeared just like that. Like it never happened.

Minhee could feel the tears start to form in her eyes but she refused to cry, not like this, not in front of someone whom she hurted a lot for her own selfish reason. They’ve promised to debut together, even though in different groups. But, she broke that promise and broke his heart by saying she wanted to focus more on her career.

But after debuting, there was still this nagging feeling on the back of her heart that she did something fatal. Minhee admitted that she was still having the same feelings for Kion as before but right now, she was sure that he wanted nothing but for her to disappear from the face of the Earth. And honestly? It was understandable. After all, if she was in his shoes, she would feel the same way.

Hiding underneath his blanket was proven to be a torture for her. Not because of the hot weather or it was getting stuffier to breathe. But it was simply because his scent was everywhere. The same scent she loved to inhale from the crook of his neck when he hugged her so tightly against his broad chest. Without knowing, tears started to flow from her eyes though it wasn’t for so long as she had to slap a hand over when she felt someone leaning against her, not wanting to get them both in trouble.

But it wasn’t long till she realized it was Isekai who leaned back on her and another problem arose when she felt a pair of arms around her body, this time knowing fully well to whom those arms belong to. She could feel her heart start to beat so loud because of the simple gesture, to have his arms around her again.

When he gave an okay for her to be finally out from the confinement that was his blanket, Minhee stared at the man who used to make her day filled with nothing but happiness. She had to say something, anything. “...I’m sorry because you missed your gaming session with your friends.” She said while looking down, suddenly more interested in studying the pattern on his blanket. “...Is it really impossible for you to forgive me, Kai?”

@✵ jeon minhee ᵖʳⁱᶻᵐ “what else did you expect from me? a very warm welcome?” kion wasn’t certain on what exactly minhee was trying to prove by being here. if the intention was to show that she had nothing to fear, then the idol was doing pretty well at just that. surely, such a trait was able to bring her such a long way. especially if it was more than enough to throw their entire relationship away, he thought.

but if she was here for anything else— to apologize, make amends, or even worst case scenario, admit that she might still have even the slightest semblance of feelings left for him? then kion had absolutely no idea how to feel about that. he didn’t want to think about it, when all being in his thoughts has done for him is left him in a wallowing state of pain. a pain that he still unfortunately associated with anything that had to do with her.

because minhee had once meant everything to him. nothing and nobody could compare.

now, however, he teetered towards the inevitable. something he had never thought to consider once before because when he fell for her, kion hadn’t realized he had fallen hard. deep. he was miserably stuck— but he had to get out. he had to move on. and right now, it was unfair as to how hard she was making it for him. his heart still squeezing by the confinements of his chest albeit at an unfamiliar pace, when her presence was proving to be nothing more but a challenge.

operating almost immediately on fight mode as he attempts to distract his roommate, it isn’t too long before he is sitting by his bedside just in hopes of keeping the latter away. “you coming with, kai? we’ll be heading to the pc bang for a quick game sesh—” “oh, i’m always down! but i gotta get some vocal lessons in, you already know i was told to drown in it a little more..” kion sighed at the faint reminder of where he stood as a trainee, a whole far cry from what minhee should even have to deal with at this point. idly he leaned back, resting on her body as he’s far too in his head with things until he realized and suddenly jolted himself back up.

“you know you’ve never been too good at hiding stuff, are you stashing things away from us again?” kion’s roommate responded with a justifiable amount of doubt, steps inching in a little too close for comfort which has him quickly wrapping
his arms around minhee’s covered body. “no, i just- i got a new pillow wife okay! now go, i’ll catch up with you guys later!”

“sheesh..” the steps are backed away until they’re long gone, leaving kion with a relief beyond belief and one that was only short-lived upon realizing that he was back to being alone with her. “he’s gone. you can come out now.” maybe then she could even leave too.
