Ning had an earlier shoot and some errands to run, she didn't bother bringing with her a spare of change clothes at the company — because she didn't think she'd be long. However, the shoot went on longer than expected and by time the clock striked 4pm, she knew she couldn't waste time rushing back to her apartment to change then go off to run her much-needed errands. Hence she's in this dilemma, running errands while texting her ex boyfriend and promising to visit.
