@โงห k. jinyoung Jia's smile softened into something more timid, a light pink flush spreading across her cheeks as his words— that barely a whisper settled in her mind and shifted her gaze down for a moment. She don't usually get flustered when she received such compliment around people but coming from him it was somewhat different than any other guy.
"Thank you, Jinyoung.. " she replied, her voice quieter now with an almost bashful undertone as she tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. "Well only my parent are lucky to have a beautiful daughter like me as for now. I'm actually single," she stated with a small shrugs, stepping aside to let both of them venture further to where the food was waiting for them.
Jia gave a soft, appreciative smile at his word and shook her head lightly as she assure him by giving his bare arm a small pat. "It's really no trouble, Jinyoung. I actually enjoy cooking, so this is nothing extra. I'm glad to have a guest over." Her eyes flicked to his tattoo, the intricate design catching her attention before meeting his deep brown orbs once more. "And thank you again for offering to help with the car. I really appreciate it, I wasn't sure how I was going to manage it on my own."
She gestured them to sit first while moving to the side of the dining table to scoop a bowl of rice for them. "Please do enjoy the meal. The dishes can always wait after the fixing," she added, shooting a cute wink at Jinyoung playfully. "I'll leave the helping to you after dinner, mkay?"
@โงห s. jia "Jia... that's a beautiful name for a beautiful you..." he uttered, letting the words flow out naturally, until he realised that his eyes were still kept focused on her, himself being all dreamy, quickly hiding his admiration with a cough, suddenly feeling all hot. He hadn't had any proper interaction with women in a while other than his colleagues, but Jia's beautiful doe eyes, the way her auburn locks tousled in the wind, her rosy cheeks on her gorgeous face and the way she gazed at him got him tripping over his sentences, fanning himself. "I, I mean... y-you're a very beautiful lady... your boyfriend must be so lucky to have you haha..." Jinyoung's eyes wandered until it focused back on his daughter who was giving him a teasing smile, her first time seeing her dad this way, and she was about to too before thinking otherwise, turning back towards the lady doctor with a bright grin. "I agree, Dr. Song is very beautiful~"
"Perhaps we can have dinner first? I don't want the food to be cold and your efforts to go to waste, Jia," he replied, the name on his tongue still unfamiliar but starting to get comfortable, flashing her a soft smile. "I can smell the food from here already, it must taste amazing, i bet!" Stepping into her place when she invited him in, he let Eunchae wander around though with words of warning, "don't run around and break anything, you have to have manners!" while he got rid of his bomber jacket, revealing a white singlet underneath, polynesian tattoo stretching all the way from his chest to his wrist on the right arm. He could see the amount of food she prepared and already set on the dining table, and he felt like an inconvenience. "You didn't need to cook that much... haha, i'll do the dishes later, don't fight me with it!"
@โงห k. jinyoung When Jinyoung casually encouraged her to drop the formality, Jia couldn't help but smile, relieved that she didn't have to stay formal with him. "Ah yes.... Jinyoung it is then…" she uttered with a small nod, feeling more at ease. Her gaze shifted to Eunchae when she spoke up and beamed at her. "That's fine Eunchae! Napping is a part of growing up!" she said with a playful wink.
Stepping closer she gladly accepted the bouquet of roses, cradling it in her arms and stare at it lovingly. "I love it so much, Mi—Jinyoung-shii. Please, just call me Jia," she added, her eyes studying him intently.
Jinyoung stood tall and confident beside her, his athletic build reflecting a lifestyle filled with activity. Jia also took note on his facial structure — sharp jawline and high cheekbones, giving his face a striking and defined look. His warm brown eyes sparkled with kindness and a hint of mischief, drawing people in with their expressive nature. His tousled hair framed his face, softening his features and adding to his approachable demeanor.
Jia felt herself momentarily captivated but she snapped out of her daze when one of her dogs barked, shaking her head and letting out a sigh. "Erm— do you want to come inside or should we check on my car?" Jia asked, tilting her head to the side as her curiosity piqued.
@โงห s. jia When she opened the door, Jinyoung was met with the prettiest face and beautiful amber eyes he'd ever seen, the beauty shining even more underneath the natural light compared to the cold whites of the hospital room. Her three dogs she mentioned were crowded around her feet as well, which got Eunchae a little shocked, yet excited. The way she greeted him was soft, yet the title given to him was too formal, to which he replied with a sheepish smile, waving it away. "Jinyoung is fine... haha, I've never really told you my name, didn't I..."
Eunchae greetings were as bright as her, small face adorned with a beaming smile, chirping excitedly. "Hello, Dr. Song~ and how did you know I took a nap..?" Her eyes immediately turned towards Jinyoung, a tiny pout on her face and glaring. "Daddy must have told you..." Jinyoung gave a chuckle at his daughter's reaction, giving her a little head rub. "It's adorable, no? Ah yes," he noticed the soft hues on her cheeks, himself getting red at the ears as well before he lifted the gifts up to her, stepping closer. "Figured that it wouldn't be right since it's the first time at your place, Dr. Song. I hope you like roses?"
@โงห k. jinyoung Jia's heart raced with nervous excitement. It wasn't just that she had a guest—this was the first time she was inviting someone and it was a guy. She rushed home, taking a quick shower and making sure she smelled nice, then hurriedly cleaned the house within the limited time she had. The dining table was set with food, though she found herself debating whether it was enough or if she should cook more. She didn't want to overwhelm him but she also wanted everything to be perfect.
A sudden knock at the door snapped her out of her thoughts. She quickly shooed her dogs out of the way and opened the door, her heart skipping a beat as she greeted Jinyoung with a small boy on the head. "Mister Kim hello," she said, umber eyes move to look at her little patient standing beside him, her face lighting up. "Hello Eunchae~ Did you have a good nap?"
Her gaze then shifted to the flowers and a basket of strawberries in his hands and blinked in surprise, wasn't expecting him to even bring such thing over. Her cheeks flushed in red hues as she looked back at Jinyoung with a sheepish smile and open the door wider. "Ah Mister Kim… You shouldn't have…"
@โงห s. jia Driving towards Jia's place, his daughter happily excited in the passenger seat after hearing about the news that they were going to the pretty doctor's place for dinner, Jinyoung's heart thumped quite quickly, nervous. He couldn't lie that he used the excuse of fixing her car just to see her again, meet her outside of a professional setting, and maybe this could be the start of a budding friendship. Seeing that she didn't reject his offer for help as well, somehow got him more anxious than before. On the back of his seats were a bunch of flowers and a gift basket of strawberries currently in season, picked up when Eunchae was still having her afternoon nap, not right to visit empty-handed.
Pulling up into the driveway, he spotted her car and parked right next to it, making it easier for him to jumpstart later on as he got out, holding Eunchae in one hand, the gift basket and the flowers on the other. Gently knocking the door, not wanting to shock her, he called out in a soft voice, waiting for her to open the door. "Dr. Song, it's me, Eunchae's dad."
