@โงห k. chaewon minwoo was about to put his things in their designated places when someone called out to him. woah—she even offered to pay for him. he hesitated at first but was quickly grabbed and pulled over to the cashier.
"m-miss—are you sure about this? ah, i feel bad right now. i forgot to withdraw money from the bank earlier, but please send me your account number? i'll pay you back later." he handed over his items to the cashier and waited as she paid for both his things and hers.
"i feel so ashamed but thankful for your kindness," minwoo said, looking up to meet her eyes. she was exceptionally pretty—her short hair and petite figure made her look cute. wait, what are you thinking, ryu minwoo? he quickly shrugged the thought away and chuckled. "are you new here?" he asked as they stepped out of the convenience store together.
@โงห r. minwoo Chaewon's eyes widen a bit at the conversation she hears and watches as the man walks off the line and past her. She knows it's none of her business, she repeats to herself over and over again in her head as she hands a bill to the cashier. It really doesn't matter if he can't pay for those items. The man won't die from not having those things.
But at last, unable to stop herself, she spins on her heels and walks to find the abnormally tall dude she saw earlier. "I uh.. can help with your bill. It seems like maybe you need these things?" She whispers to him when she finally spots him. Her tone comes off a little concerned as she stares at the essential items in the man's hands. Chaewon offers him a gentler smile as she tries her best not to judge what's happening. "Personal hygiene is so important to one's health." Chaewon harps as she grabs the other's wrist and attempts to pull him back to the cashier. "Come on."
@โงห k. chaewon minwoo had just finished his meeting with his business partners. as he walked back towards his house, he suddenly remembered that he needed to buy some essential items before heading home. looking around, he noticed a convenience store nearby. with a sigh of relief, he walked inside to grab what he needed.
after picking up a facewash and a few snacks for later that night, he made his way to the cashier. "can i use a card?" he asked, pulling out his wallet. the truth was, minwoo had forgotten to withdraw cash from the atm earlier.
"i'm sorry, sir, our machine isn't working right now. we can only accept cash," the cashier explained.
minwoo stood there, feeling a bit anxious about the situation. he sighed and bit his lip, staring at his items for a moment. noticing the lady behind him waiting, he quickly made up his mind. "nah, it's okay. i'll put them back. i don't have cash with me. i'm sorry," he said politely. not wanting to inconvenience anyone, he picked up the items and walked past the lady, returning everything to their rightful places on the shelves.
@โงห r. minwoo It's been a long day for Chaewon. She just finished her 12 hour overnight shift at the clinic and was walking home listening to her music when she realized that she hadn't gotten anything to eat yet all day. Frowning at the realization, she turns the last second down the block and heads towards the convenience store by her apartment. She knows that as soon as she steps into the house, she wouldn't want to leave to grab food. She's also aware that her fridge is currently empty. Matter of fact, her apartment is mostly empty with just a box or two and some very basic furniture. She's supposed to get her shipment of boxes later this week. Gosh that would be yet another thing to stress about later when it happens.
With another loud sigh, Chaewon pushes open the door and steps inside the convenience store. She looks around, trying to locate something quick to grab for her meal when her eyes land on someone. Tilting her head, she pauses by an aisle and watches the other speak to the cashier. "What is going on.." she mumbles to herself while she quickly grabs an instant ramen and a bottle of iced tea. She's hoping that by the time she grabs what she needs, the cashier would be free and she wouldn't have to wait. But when she turns around to head to the register, the dude is still there and Chaewon squints. She takes off her headphones just so she can listen in to the conversation better.
@โงห k. jiwoong (everything was happening too fast. In lisa’s head that was positively spinning, the catalyst of it all had to be the unfortunate fall of her lost treat which would have her not only stumbling after it, but also shedding a tear or two. and before she knew it? the autumn breeze was also engulfing her further in a chilly blanket of sadness from which she was far too disinclined to fend. at least.. not until a glimmer of hope is cast in her direction. jiwoong, the closest embodiment of warmth, now fortunately in her midst.)
w- woong?.. (she sniffles with the most prominent pout as she looks up at the boy, her doe orbs of cocoa brown watery from both the alcohol and the unsalvageable ice cream on the ground.) woooong, you’re h- hereee~ (slurring partially, it doesn’t take long before lisa is getting to her feet with much of her friend’s aid; his hand certainly feeling warmer than she’s ever remembered, so she makes sure to hold onto it tight. and although somewhere along the lines, she planned on hiding from the more than familiar face, her body completely betrays her as lisa instead leans slightly against jiwoong. traces of mischievousness buried beneath the need for the safety, security, and comfort he undeniably provided.) mmm, yes please?
@โงห m. lisa ( the last thing lisa sent was a barely audible voice note about the untimely death of her newly bought ice cream. looking at the photos she sent, well, he supposed this was enough of a clue to find her, and sure enough—from the other side of the road leading up to the mart, he spots her figure, dark locks seemingly a mess, her soft sniffles heard even from the distance. ... ah. considering the late hour and her drunken state, her sorrow really tugged at his heartstrings. jiwoong shakes his head at the absurdity of it all, but he can't help the little chuckle leaving his lips. )
heeey, there you are, lili. ... ( sighing softly. ) want me to get another one?
( he approaches, careful not to startle his friend with a gentle finger playfully poking her shoulder, hoping to coax a smile back onto her face somehow. there's a mix of concern and amusement on his tired visage, given the adorable state of the girl all pouty over ice cream, but above it all, it's late and she shouldn't be alone out here while drunk. his conscience doesn't allow him to leave his sight of her, so he's grabbing at her hand, making sure she doesn't run off. ) careful.
