@❀┊jiang xiao ᵒ Sitting alone in the dimly lit canteen, Baekhyun tended to his warm cup of black tea, taken from his personal stash. The darkness didn't bother him; he was used to it. Suddenly, the canteen was enveloped in full light. The sound of footsteps echoed throughout the empty room. He turned slightly, eyeing the cook who padded her way past him and into the kitchen. She didn't notice him, a quiet reassurance.

The janitor leaned back in his chair, counting down the minutes until he had to return to work, when a shrill scream alerted his senses. It — crying noises now — came from within the kitchen. He darted his eye over to the kitchen entrance: no smoke wafting through. There hadn't been any loud clatter of pots and pans other than the usual. Baekhyun sipped the remaining of the tea before rising and heading to the source of the incident.

He pushed past the kitchen door, seeing the other omega with her head in her palms. Scanning the space, he verified no major messes. Everything was in its place other than the open container of salt with its contents spilled and the thawing meat on the counter. "Did you your pants?"

@☘︎┊nie baekhyun ᵒ It was early in the morning as Xiao hummed while taking out the ingredients she needed for the huge amount of people she would need to cook for. She normally wouldn't be in this early, however the meal she had in mind for today was a slow cook type.

She also decided to make a quick breakfast for herself like she normally does. It was anything, but normal today though as she somehow lost her sense of taste. The moment she realizes all anyone could hear within the the mile was a scream then sobbing. How could she cook for anyone if she can't even taste the food?

@☁︎┊lan yunho ᵃ karina was savoring the rare tranquility of her lunch break, her perfectly manicured fingers absentmindedly running through her freshly styled hair. she toyed with her food, poking the meat with her chopsticks, half-listening to aeri’s rambling while minjeong rattled off advice to her.

she sighed softly, resting her chin on her palm, her expression one of practiced indifference. the peace, however, was shattered when someone suddenly stepped into her line of vision, blocking her view entirely. it was that dumb basketball guy !

her eyes moved judgingly from his knees to his face, taking in his towering frame with a look that was equal parts unimpressed and curious. her gaze sharpened slightly as if already judging him before he spoke.

'how can I help you?' she asked, her voice silky yet laced with subtle irritation.

@☘︎┊nie yunjin ᵒ karina was livid—no, beyond livid. a mortified groan escaped her lips as she glared at the mess on her pristine skirt. her sharp, crimson eyes darted up, landing on the culprit: the nie omega, yunjin, who had an infuriating knack for testing her patience.

one of karina's followers quickly handed her a napkin, which she snatched with barely a glance, trying to dab away the offending stain. but yunjin’s smug remark was the final straw. the alpha’s jaw tightened, and with a predator’s grace, she closed the distance between them in a single step.

karina grabbed yunjin by the collar, yanking her closer with a force that left no room for defiance. she loomed over the smaller omega, her height and presence exuding raw dominance. her voice was low but seething with venom, every word a dagger aimed straight at yunjin’s pride.

'you better it off my skirt and shoes,' karina hissed, her lips curling into a dangerous smirk, 'or I’ll destroy you.' the room fell silent, all eyes on the confrontation, waiting to see if yunjin would dare to defy the wrathful alpha.

@☘︎┊nie yunjin ᵒ Aeri smiled as the other had responded before she sat across the table in front of her, "Thanks." She said before the other Nie had introduced herself. "Nice to meet you, Yunjin. I'm Aeri, by the way." She stretched out her hand to make an act of introduction towards the other. "I don't usually see you often, are you new?" She asked the other before she gently ate her food.

@☼┊wen karina ᵃ yunjin hadn't been paying attention when she walked through the canteen, too busy fiddling with her phone to find the right song she wanted to listen to. it had taken just a moment to bump into someone else, and she looked up just in time to see saucy lunch fall from the tray right onto wen karina's white dior skirt.

her eyes widened subconsciously at the impending temper tantrum that was about to come from the other girl, but yunjin could feel her own anger rising at the way karina was starting to very visibly fume. she couldn't understand it—karina had more than enough money to simply replace the skirt, and if she knew how to lift a finger to clean it, the stain would come right out without the fabric being ruined beyond repair.

attempting to keep in the attitude would only make her anger come out more, so yunjin took in a deep breath and let her features twist into a smirk, resting her weight primarily on one hip and tilting her head to the side. "no no honey, it's *yunjin*. not 'you'."

@☘︎┊nie aeri ᵃ yunjin brought her own food from home, as she usually did—she didn't often have the money for the canteen, and she was particular about the amount of spices that were put in her food. if it couldn't burn her tongue, then it wasn't good enough.

when another girl came up to her and spoke, yunjin looked up and raised an eyebrow, taking in her look. she was familiar, another member of the nie pack—pink hair, grunge fashion, smudged eye makeup. a look that not too many people had, and yunjin respected it. she nodded her assent and sat up a bit straighter, tossing a stray braid behind her shoulder and reaching up to adjust her headwrap. "no worries, you're no bother. yunjin, nice to meet you."

@☘︎┊nie yunjin ᵒ karina was not known for her patience, and her temper was a blazing inferno waiting for a spark. being a wen only amplified her natural flair for confrontation. her rivalry with yunjin, a bold and audacious omega, was the stuff of campus legend. despite being in different extracurriculars, yunjin always found a way to challenge karina’s dominance, whether it was in debates, trends, or, most annoyingly, fashion.

karina couldn’t stand it. two fashion queens couldn’t coexist, and she was determined to remain on top. yunjin, however, didn’t shy away. she matched karina’s fire with an unrelenting bravery that infuriated the alpha to no end.

that day, karina’s mood was already sour. she loathed the canteen, the noise, the chaos, the inferior company, but hunger had forced her into its unrefined domain. carrying her tray, she made her way toward her usual seat, exuding elegance despite her disdain.

she didn’t see the collision coming. a sudden bump, and the tray jerked from her grip, spilling its contents onto her precious dior skirt.

for a moment, karina froze, staring down at the mess as if her world had collapsed. the pristine white fabric was now a disaster zone, stained and ruined. her sharp intake of breath signaled an impending storm.
her head snapped up, and her eyes locked onto the culprit, none other than Yunjin, standing there with wide eyes but not an ounce of fear.

karina’s fists clenched. of course, it had to be her. 'you…' karina began, her voice low but trembling with rage. the canteen seemed to go silent, students bracing for the inevitable explosion.

@☘︎┊nie yunjin ᵒ As the bell rings as the end of the math class, Aeri fixed her books and set it on her backpack before she heads out among the students from the classroom and some of them walked towards the canteen. Aeri used to sit with vacant tables since she's not really into popular students in the academy, only those who looks like a popular type can sit with the same looks. With her grunge style, heavy eyeliner, pink hair and black nail polish, who would give her a seat?

Aeri gets herself lined up with the students as she grabbed a tray and slowly and one by one she gets their scheduled lunch for today. But today is all about meat and veggies, the Nie alpha doesn't like veggies, especially the bean sprouts. She refused the been sprouts and went ahead to take beef stew instead before she picked two boxes of orange juice and went off from the line. The canteen seemed to be pretty crowded today so she scanned the area for a possible sit-in.

She saw one girl sitting in one table alone before she head towards her with a smile on her, she greeted as she walked closer to her. "Heya, if you wouldn't mind, can I take a seat here with you?" Aeri asked politely. "There are no available tables I could sit on."
