Ah, finally it was fall. Though, most importantly, Halloween was coming up and there would be endless replays of Hocus Pocus on all of the general tv stations, and the scenery of the city would be incredibly perfect for photographs. Photography-- it had always been a passion of Selena's. Well.. that was more of a lie, it had just become a passion recently, maybe a few years back while she was recovering from a certain sickness that was so close to taking away her life. It made her realize how beautiful the world was, and how much photo's speak so many unspoken words.

The zoo had been released in her stomach while she sat within the drivers seat of her 1959 cadillac eldorado, clammy hands white knuckling the leather steering wheel while the sun shined upon her long tresses that were tugged easily into a high ponytail, yet still somehow landed upon the middle of her back. It would be their first /official/ date, and had never been so nervous in her entire life. After minutes of biting her lower lip and staring at her phone, she finally reached down to pick it up and dial his number, awaiting his familiar voice to pick up. "Hey, babe. I'm out front." She spoke, eyes -shielded with some ray bans- looking at the front of the house that they shared with their best friend. She'd just gotten back from buying new film, her camera hanging from her neck while her fingers tapped amongst the steering wheel along with the tune of music playing on the radio.

No's that trill loud into the stars, and screams off three lettered excitement howled to the moon. A night that has the sweet taste of cotton candy melting on , the heavy breading of corn dogs in her belly, and the glow in the dark band that adorns her wrist. A temporary theme park - or was it a fair? - set up in the park. A simple town setting that has her and her newest friend in shambles behind the rides. The gated off area surrounding the fair was one that was hard to sneak in to, with lengths as high as two and a half meters, and not to mention her own lack of grip, she had never once pictured being trapped. But as the cries died down, and her body lays on the ground, soaked with condensation from the shift of warm to chill, watching the stars float above, she finds herself falling asleep .. Asleep next to her friend. With her phone on her belly and her body curled close to his.

It was hours later that she had woken up, a simple alert from her phone that someone had updated their instagram, someone she follows avidly. Luvian yawns, fingers finding her hair, and looks around. The cold air, the silent atmosphere, the itchiness of her skin. Oh. "Heechul-" She hisses, looking down towards the man, shifting onto her knees and shaking his shoulder with gentle effort. "'Chul, wake up--! We're .. We're stuck in the park; c'mon, we gotta get out."

after driving up a very deep hill (what seemed like a mountain), i turn the wheel before slowing down to go down a dirt road, glimpsing around at the tree's surrounding us before looking forward again. i soon pull up to rusty looking, abandoned building that was legitimately in the middle of nowhere before parking and taking the keys out of the ignition.
i know it looks-- weird but, just wait to say anything. follow me.
i say with my lips curling into a smile, soon unbuckling myself so that i can hop out of the car with ease. after doing so, i lead you towards the side of the building where there was a small opening and i dip down to slip under it.
this way--
i murmur, nudging myself past a few wooden 'doors' before nudging myself to stand up and go up the stairs where i then reach for my keys once more to unlock the main door at the top of the stairs before nudging it open and allowing my lips to curl into a bright smile while shifting to the side to let you in
this-- this is my favorite place. i renovated it on my own last year, the large windows look over the city, it's soundproof, so i can record some music if i want to. the white lights remind me of stars sometimes when i decide to stay here overnight. it's like-- my home away from home.
