@ⓟ cameron m。❝jerome It all fell quiet, at least to them, the dark haired kid unmoving from his somewhat catatonic state with the other two shifting around off and on. A slight ringing moving into his ears as a bright light snapped Kyle and Miall out of their daze, the flash nearly blinding them.
"in' hell-" Kyle mumbled, opening one eye very slightly and raising his hand, in a weak attempt to obscure the gleam from hitting him directly in the face.
"Mm...yeah sure, officer..." Miall was half awake, words losing their spacing and becoming heavily slurred. Jake, however, didn't respond, since he had taken so much, he was in some sort of drug induced sleep which frankly seemed to be one of the only good sleeps he could acquire. The purple haired fellow tried to nudge his arm before looking at the man again, squinting as if to try and see better.
"Oi, mate, aren't ye a police officer though?"
@ⓝ jake b。 All that ruckus, it sounded like hens knowing they were being led into a slaughter house as conversation was swept up by the wind and drifted to his ears, ringing clearly. He trudged over, fingers slipping around the cold metallic surface of his flashlight, gripping the base as he jerked it from it's clip and shined it brightly upon the three boys, lips curling in a bit of sadistic pleasure as the light darted between each of them erratically, blinding them with the led shine it gave off without a care in the world. "Could you keep it down?" Jerome swallowed the agitation laced with slight amusement, voice chalky and animalistic as a low growl escaped from the back of his throat before cackling a bit in satanic laughter. "You wouldn't want to run into any cops"
@ⓟ cameron m。❝jerome "Come on Jake!" One of the boy's friends egged him on, nudging at his already sore arm without much mind for the pain it was very obviously causing him.
" off, I don't do heroin, 'll kill you. Kyle isn't into it, are ya man?" Jake turned his head to look at friend, hair tinted purple. The expression read all too obvious he was guilty as sin, as he immediately hung his hand with thin fingers carding through his hair. "Kyle- you irresponsible er, what would Ellie think, huh?" Words laced with arsenic obviously got through to him, the look of him reading of pure disgust.
"What the hell do ye know, man, Ellie doesn't care 'bout it, yeah, so mind yer business." Kyle retorted, the genuine Liverpudlian accent flooding into his words.
"Mate, I'm not the bloody Scouse schlepper sitting here with my out like a-"
"You two! Jesus in' Christ, we have other stuff, cool out. We've got ketamine and xanax, so you two can mellow out some." Miall had to stop the two from tearing one another to shreds like rabid animals. The pool of blue in Jake's eyes showed a stare of pure hatred directly purely at his 'friend', pulling the cigarette resting between his fingers to his dried lips. A tattered glass pill bottle was handed to him, having blown a cloud of sot-weed out and stubbing the cig out on his scarred forearm. Without thinking, he took two pills and waved the line of power being hogged by his friends.
By then the gentle waves, chirping birds and far too loud cicadas faded from his line of hearing. Once he drew up one long line of K, Jake leaned back with head hanging off the back of the bench. Euphoria was a word that did no justice to the happiness he felt when his two friends came to town, with all the goods and services he could take advantage of. A breeze blew lightly along the water, the three boys all in their own little worlds as the sat in solemn silence.
@ⓝ jake b。 . Writing words sometime felt like ripping off a bandaid.. no easy way to do it. No graceful way for things to be said without some proper form of introduction into life without the words 'let's just get this over with' playing through one's mind like a record player caught in a broken loop until one decides to give into such madness and yank it off. 'Ahhh.. hehe" the cackling laughter echoed out through the dense woods as such satisfaction seemed to have graced one cop in particular who wadded up the adhesive plastic into a ball, flinging it to the shadows for them to devour in darkness before eyebrows raised in question to see if anyone was watching. Not that he cared. Or rather... it would be in their best interest if they didnt. He snorted. Fingers curling into the belt loops of his nicely pressed uniform as he kicked off the grill of his patrol car, idly shuffling among the scattered leaves as he watched them being lapped up by the wind and stirred around carelessly as if they were just another puny human in his life that didn't matter there for his amusement and nothing more.
He scratched at the deep cut on the back of his hand, jagged nails tearing into the raised, aggravated flesh surrounding it as he made his way slowly to the shore of the haunting lake at the approaching hour of dusk; when the full moon stood proudly, shredding her light across the rippling waters and trouble was always brewing somewhere near.
