yugyeom was running his hands over his thighs, the jean fabric comforting him in some way. he was known to have anxiety of the simplest of things, but for once, he had reason. tucking his hands under his armpits, trying to look calm as he heard movement, and the officer came into view. yugyeom flashed one of the best smiles he could, which wasnt bery convincing, as he gave a small bow in gratitude towards the woman in front of him. it took him a moment to conjure up the words, the whole situation causing him to nearly cave in on himself. when he spoke, his tone was soft, as if afraid anyone might hear him. "it... it seems as though i've been targeted, miss joohyun."

@ⓒ yi fan w。 / she would run small digits through her platinum locks, hazel orbs darting to the clock to check the time before leaning back in her desk chair. her new assistant was suppose to be here soon and she was looking forward to sporting such arm candy over the office- a soft laugh would escape the petite vixen at her own thoughts as she quickly shook her head, sorting through case files on her desk she picked up one of them and looked over the pictures inside of the folder. if one thing she hated the most- was the amount of cold cases that built up. if there were 40 murders called in that week, maybe they would find 20 people to go to trial, and maybe 7 of those 20 would be convinced- just how the system worked. orbs old raising from the pile of papers for a moment as her office door opened- / Ah, good, you're early just as I hoped you would be. There is a pile of papers in the corner I need to be filed as soon as possible.

yugyeom had his phone clutched tightly in his hand as he stood in front of the police station. his nerves were on fire-- why was someone targeting him? what did these people want from him? carefully, he pushed the door open, the soft creak of the hinges causing him to cringe slightly. he was dressed casually, tugging his sweater sleeves over his hands as he asked for officer joohyun. he had spoken to her before, he knew he could talk to her again. leaning against the wall, he waited patiently for the woman to appear.

Old coffee is disgusting in my opinion. / pinches the bridge of his nose as if to smother the pain snaking over his skull, searching for a point of entry. he let out a disgruntled groan before looking back at the raven haired youth; his languid lids lifted up just enough to take in the other's pleasant countenance/ i see -- a little girl wrote about me, hm? /he yawned and wiped at the grit lodged in the inner corner of his eye/ i honestly thought you hadn't heard. it's strange being news i suppose, after having left that life behind,but i suppose in the end i don't mind it being about me as it will another safe./liquid fatigue escaped his eyes and slowly cascaded before getting caught in the groove of his nose/ i hope she's alright--now man should hit a woman or anyone they claim to love

@ⓟ soohyuk l。 thank you, /is his soft reply, as he reaches for the cup and takes the warm styrofoam between his palms. his lips meet the cusp of the cup, tipping the lip back until bitter caffeine hits his tongue. just that initial spark has him already feeling rejuvenated. jimin leans back in his chair, murmuring a soft 'thank you' into the swirling brown, chestnut drink,/ feel a lot better, actually, especially now that i got this. did someone just make a fresh brew? it tastes a lot better than the ones from a few hours ago. /then again, those had been sitting there for a good five hours, plus, before he had gotten to them .../ just about a domestic violence case. apparently one of our little news girls, you know, the ones that write those articles on all this idol drama crap - the one that wrote the rumor tabloid about you!- she .. apparently got into it with her fiancee.. said he hit her first and she wants a restraining order. nasty bruise on her cheek, too.

@ⓟ jimin p。 /the gurgling of the coffee maker kept him company as the men chattered away behind him. the other officers entering the break room would shout greetings before inquiring how his son was doing but after a series of swift, brief responses from soohyuk they would allow him to stand in silence--well...men were no different in women in their affinity for gossip. he could hear his hushed name upon their stained labials; their eyes piercing his spine as if the disks would diminish into answers to their internal inquiries. as they became aware, few of their cordial smiles gave away, but he appreciated those who scolded his colleagues in whispers for their shoddy trust. soohyuk was thankful to be occupied with jimin and quickly returned to the recruit with a styrofoam cup for his ever growing collection/ feel a bit better? what is your report about?

@ⓟ soohyuk l。 yes, sir, thank you. /with a quick salute, jimin was off, scampering through the halls and towards the bathroom. a quick shift of his shirt, a tidiness to his tie, and water splashing against his too tired eyes, he looks .. better. more refreshed, even, and no longer has that crusty grime of hardened drool on his cheek. he takes a deep breath upon returning to his desk, not finding his superior anywhere - ah ... he must've gone to get that coffee -

@ⓟ jimin p。 /soohyuk directed his attention to the crisp white pages held in jimin's calloused hands before glancing up at the young recruit. while he knew the protocol, hypnos had already smote the alabaster flesh with violet bruises in anger. still wanting to protect him from the lord's displeasure, soohyuk offered a compromise/ alright--finish it. go clean up first. i can't have you sitting here like this--it's unprofessional. finish the report and then you're dismissed. i'll make you another cup of coffee. are you fine with that? would you prefer that?

@ⓟ soohyuk l。 /he lets out an indignant whine, looking up from his place on the desk, and slowly sliding his way out of it./ But, sir, I need to finish this - /he argues, taking the issue graciously and dabbing away at his lips. He could only imagine what would happen if he didn't finish this report. He needed to document it as soon as he could, after getting the call he needed - frick ... He shouldn't have fallen asleep.

@ⓟ jimin p。 /he let out a heavy sigh as say at the now partially translucent pages, reeking of foul scent of the other's aged saliva/ alright--/ he stated calmly before scooping up the pages, swiftly tapping them into a stack to be organized later and placed them at the corner of the desk. he plucked a tissue from the box and handed it to the other/ clean up--don't soil your uniform. i'll take you home. you have today off. you're of no use like this.
