@❛ chanyeol park。 Leaning down to accept the vehicle of their condemning exchange, Jimin pulled the flaps up on one side of the tube to inspect his monetary compensation: the correct amount. Slipping the normally-discarded roll into his hoody pocket, he waited a few moments. The rush of water hailing from the sink across the room signaled a timer in the medical student's mind. To avoid suspicion, he always waited at least fifteen seconds before composing himself and furthering the illusion by flushing the toilet and joining his customer at the sinks. Hovering his hand below the soap dispenser, he waited briefly for the foam to fall into his hands before turning his head to glance at the man at his side. "I'm beyond ready for this food. I somehow managed to not eat anything all day except for some beef jerky that I had forgotten in my bag from yesterday." The routine continued. Everything was going as planned. It was only normal for Jimin to spark up a conversation that, most of the time, was entirely truthful as a means of distracting anyone who may have caught onto their act. In that case, if anyone were to fact check him for any raised suspicions, his credibility would immediately be proven. Finally, after rinsing the suds off of his hands, he ripped off a paper towel from the dispenser and wiped off the excess water. "Shall we?" He inquired, nodding his head towards the door.

@❛ jia meng。 "I don't necessarily know if I'll be comfortable dating or even flirting with women with such an age difference... At that point, aren't they probably just looking for a sugar daddy?" At this, I make a face, not exactly relishing the thought of becoming a sugar daddy when I can't even provide for myself right now. Observing how you eat, I an eyebrow and send a smile your way. "Do you want a bite of my omelette? It'd be good to maybe get a lot of different flavors, if you want." With these words, I gesture to my plate and even push it over a little bit toward you.

@❛ jia meng。 "Close? I still have like, seven years ahead of me," I laugh, shaking my head since I don't like to dwell on the fact that I'll be in school for so long. But, it would result in a better career and therefore better income for me, and that was what I should focus on. "I have to be careful when I get older, girls will flirt with me thinking I'm 19 but I'm actually 30 haha." Watches you dance, wondering how much energy you must have with a smile. Starting to eat my omelette, I comment on the taste: "This is pretty good, I've never been to this restaurant. And I am having a great time with you too. I normally don't clear my schedule like this, so feel special," I say with a smile.

@❛ jia meng。 At your words, I tilt my head curiously. "I'm not exactly a prodigy, I couldn't get out of high school early even if I tried," I reply. "Please do share your skin care routine, and your secrets to maintaining such a youthful appearance," I beg playfully. "Did you perhaps, sell your soul to the devil to be immortal?" With this I laugh, feeling that it's so easy to be playful and joke around in your presence. "I suppose in the future I'll have to be more picky about who I decide to sleep with.." I mumble in thought as I take another sip of the coffee before the waiter returns with our food, once again laughing at your excitement. As I take my muffin and pick off the top layer, I comment, "I've probably got ten or so more years until I leave, so you'll have plenty of time to get to know me."

@❛ jia meng。 At your reply, I tilt my head while cocking an interested brow. "Really? I didn't know I looked that young. I mean, I said I'm in my first year of med school, I think that could give you an idea of how old I am," I said before stopping to take a sip of my drink. "I'm flattered though, maybe my skin is looking extra good today." With this I allow myself a laugh. "I didn't expect you to be 27 either, I definitely thought you were younger than me.." At your mention of the girl again, I roll my eyes playfully. "Seems like you have a pretty good outlook on life. And about her, she didn't seem like a crazy when I met her, I should have known better. But I don't just plan to sleep with random girls, I plan to finish my medical degree and residency while living here in Casia. Then hopefully work for a few years, then maybe I'll finally leave when I leave the country. I want to go to a country where their medicine and healthcare is not as advanced and help out however I can." I am sure to omit any mention of friends or love, as not only am I unsure of whether I'll find either of those things, or if I even want them.

@❛ jia meng。 Finds myself chuckling at your words, as I am amused at how you keep circling back to the word "sweet" to describe me, although I've always regarded myself as a rather bitter person, at least in private. "I just turned twenty-three last May. So I guess, you're older than me," I mused although your youthful aura and sense of humor had previously led to believe that you would be around my age or even younger. Although I didn't mind much, as age differences had never meant much to me. "Yeah, between school and work, I rarely have time to meet new people let alone go out with them." With this, I chuckle. "I mean, we met at 3 in the morning. Clearly I don't have much time during the day." Then suddenly, you say something that astounds me. So you were like me, huh? A lost parent was always tough on people, but thinking that your father's death was not long ago, I was interested by how you held yourself together. "That's cool then, that you came. What are your plans while you're here? Working?"

@❛ jia meng。 "That's not quite correct," I comment at your image of me. "I mean, back in my hometown and where I went to college I guess you could say I was a socialite, but since I've just moved here, and also I'm older now. I find myself just wanting to sit at home in my apartment and watch YouTube all day." At this, I chuckled. "This is probably the first time I've gone out on an arranged meeting with anyone since I moved in," I nod. As the waiter appears, I can't help but smile at your childish yet endearing antics. On the other hand, I simply offer a simple "Thanks," to the waiter as he places our drinks down on the table. Turning back to you, I continue. "So, how about you? What's your story?" I realize now that I know nothing about you, save for your first name and your apartment number.

Perhaps it was your easy-going nature or your constant playful teasing, but I already knew we were going to be good friends. "Of course, I just moved here so I'm lacking in the friend department," I explain. "Why do you think I ended up having a one night stand?" At these words I laugh, until I tilt my head curiously at your words. Was I being sweet? This entire time I had just assumed I was having manners: inviting you for breakfast as a way of saying thank you, making conversation. "Hm, well. I just finished my bachelor's degree and I'm currently in my first year of medical school. So I moved off the campus and here," I nod recalling my story. "I kind of just wanted to be independent, and become an adult, I suppose." I shrug as I tell you this, then the waiter appears with our two coffees.

@❛ jia meng。 /watches as you follow along with me and order an iced coffee before shooting a heart to the waiter, shaking my head and finding myself unable to control my amused laughter that bursts from my lips at your boldness.
Seems like we have similar tastes. /runs a hand through my hair, tousling it from its place, before shaking my head to help it fall back to a comfortable spot.
/makes a face of disgust at your words, remembering the pure annoyance and exhaustion I felt in that moment arguing with her when she was drunk; feels my face physically relax at your following words, glad to get her out of my mind.
Sweet and cute? I don't often hear those words to describe me. /laughs boyishly before relaxing more in my chair, leaning forward at you.

/chuckles sheepishly as I look through the menu, scanning it quickly almost in a rush as the waiter is already waiting.
Well, if you're ever in a similar situation, I'm always down the hall. /shoots your a playful smile before looking up at the waiter awaiting my order.
I'll get a vegetarian omelette with cheese, a blueberry muffin, and an iced coffee please. /nods at him before returning my focus to you.

You could say that. /thinks back to what happened last night, almost shaking my head at the memory before repeating in my head the fact that that was the reason I despised one night stands so much: too much attachment.
Thanks for that, by the way. There's a reason I normally stay away from doing things like that. One night stands, I mean.
/makes a face as I remember the embarrassment I felt when you had stormed out of your apartment to give me, and my drunk female companion, an earful.

@❛ jia meng。 /rubs my hands together, as if to wipe the sweat off, before opening the door of the restaurant and making my way inside; i was not so much nervous as i was embarrassed, embarrassed that you had caught me in an uncomfortable situation and here i was feeling obligated to meet with you.
/scans the restaurant for your face which is memorized vaguely within my memories, eventually spotting you and walking over to you.

@❛ jimin park。 recognizing the unique, distinct timbre of the younger latter, chanyeol looked down to the bottom of the stall's wall. as usual, the toilet roll was held out, his special merchandise hidden inside. "thank you kindly." fishing out the scrunched up baggy that was in the roll itself, straightening it out to make sure that he was getting the correct amount. 30 pills in total of adderall xr; 2 per day during the 2 weeks of painstakingly torturous exam weeks he would have to endure and 2 just as bonuses for 'emergency all-nighters'. if it weren't for school, chanyeol wasn't much of an advocate for drugs, but the precious capsules that were contained in the bag were definitely a significant cause as to why and how he had survived graduate school smoother than most people. "thanks man." chanyeol called back, before taking the rolled and banded up wad of cash from his bag and into the toilet roll. "i'm gonna hand it back to you now." he said, before slipping his hand under. although to some it may have seemed weird that he and jimin dealed in the washroom, chanyeol preferred it because there were less chances of getting caught as there were no cameras. flushing the toilet as if he had went, chanyeol then exited from the stall to wash his hands at the sink.

@❛ chanyeol park。 It had become routine to meet chanyeol in this particular restaurant. To the untrained eye, it simply seemed like a pair of college students indulging in one of their favorite restaurants. However, upon a further, more scrutinized inspection, one would come to understand and notice the dastardly exchange that took place between the two. Jimin knew the routine like the back of his hand and, as he entered the restroom, everything had gone smoothly. Recognizing the leather loafers underneath the final stall door, he entered into the one beside it, and waited for his cue.
The all too familiar deep, almost guttural tone of Chanyeol’s voice signified that his suspicions were correct and his hands slipped into his pocket, pulled out a small plastic bag, shoved it into an empty toilet paper roll, and slid it underneath the stall divider. “Here you go, bud. Mine has extra.” He voiced out. His tone, as always, was a bit high pitched. This dealings always made him more nervous for some reason despite the length and frequency of this particular exchange.

@❛ jimin park。 this time, they were at a local place that made the best fried chicken. being a customer who often came to the specific establishment quite often, chanyeol ordered dishes he knew would take some time to meet, so he had a legitimate reason to linger inside of the restaurant for a longer period of time. on his phone, he was aimlessly scrolling through instagram, bored from waiting. his phone then vibrated- chanyeol expecting it to do so, his thumb already swiping across the new notification to open the newly delivered message. he was here, chanyeol immediately getting up and heading to the back of the restaurant, where he knew his contact would follow. he wanted his stuff first, then they'd discuss the new clients he had over a nice meal. he had been at the library, studying upon hours before he had came here. entering the washroom, chanyeol took to the furthest stall from the door, closing and locking the door behind him. hearing footsteps enter shortly afterwards, chanyeol awaited to see if the person was going into the stall next to him. they did, and after hearing their door close shut, chanyeol voice out his line. "damn, there's no toilet paper in this stall..."
