@❛ jungkook jeon。 As if on instinct, she climbs on top of him to seat comfortably on his lap, legs folded on either side of his thighs while her arms automatically coil around his neck to pull him in close. "I don't mind postponing it," she quips, a bright smile gracing her features as she looks down at his beautiful visage, heart skipping a beat just at the sight of this angel so close to her. "Or moving it to another day. Whichever."

@❛ soojin seo。 The door shuts behind them with a thud and he’s easily following after her, settling down on the couch comfortably as he pats his lap. He’s become so accustomed to having her so close, to having her perched atop him like it was her only seat, that it became like second nature for him to do so. The date might have to be postponed for later into the night, but if it meant to do so because he was busy kissing Soojin, then so be it.

@❛ jungkook jeon。 Would it be considered a distraction if he, who had planned this date in the first place, had been the one throwing off their schedule? Perhaps this was just a merely change of plans, and this could easily replace the little outing that he had in mind. Not that she cared; all she could ever hope for was to spend time with him. So when he opened the door, she had been the first to walk in, grabbing his hand yet again and tugging him along to his couch.

@❛ soojin seo。 “Maybe,” If he’s being honest, he’s distracted. The date that he had in mind suddenly seems to simmer away and all he can think about is kissing her until they run out of breath, just so they can do it again. Jungkook pulls his key out from his pocket, pushing the door open for the both of them, a bit excited and a bit too obvious about it.

@❛ jungkook jeon。 "I have a big feeling that we're not going to go on that date," she laughs, excitedly pulling him along to the front door of his apartment. Every now again she halts abruptly, pressing kisses upon his lips and cheeks, ultimately prolonging their walk to his place.

@❛ jungkook jeon。 The dialogue had already been drowned out from the start, serving merely as busy noise. Whatever satirical or ual innuendo is disregarded completely, lines and lines of comedic conversation entering one ear and out the other, as her focus is deviated to the pair of axinite gemstones before her. The imagery is quite beautiful; much more entrancing than a notoriously entertaining show, because what she holds in her delicate palm is a boy she has grown fond of. Rather than focusing on clever, comical lines, she’s studying the thick lines of his brow and the shape of his arch; memorizing the curve of his pretty lips and the indentations on his cheeks when he flashes those pearly whites. And while he’s sometimes a dork and a complete idiot, she thinks him charming nonetheless. Good god, she’s smitten. Absolutely smitten. She does not deny the pull that gravitates her to him, that keeps her completely glued at his side as if she couldn’t pull away. Not that she would want to, he makes her happy. Really happy. So when he requests to kiss her, she nods, an almost too-quick response to something that she would normally ponder over in slight hesitation. And panic (because, well, that’s how she is). But truth be told, there’s absolutely nothing else that she would like to do in that moment.

@❛ soojin seo。 If he's being honest, Jungkook had probably rewatched The Office over ten times. It was good background noise for whenever he needed to focus, his brain otherwise running wild with 'what if's and designs that most likely would not come to fruition. But it always held an air of newness, in which he'd find himself picking up on idiosyncrasies that he had never before realized. A good show, if anyone had ever known one. It's only in this moment that he isn't able to truly focus on it while wanting to, because holding Soojin takes precedence. The warmth of their bodies pressed together, the honeyed fragrance of her perfume drifting to fulfill a satisfaction that he never once knew he needed satiated. He leans into her hand, and although he's not necessarily known for being the smoothest, most suave man on the planet, suddenly he feels his nerves web away. They pull back and are replaced by adoration, filling and filling until he feels it spilling over. Jungkook takes hold of her face in his palm, the one wrapped around her waist moving to hold her hip. His fingers splay out firmly across it, keeping her secure as if he can't hold her tight enough, can't convince her to stay. He gulps but hopes he does so inconspicuously, before courage seizes him without consultation and he's whispering, "Can I kiss you?"

@❛ jungkook jeon。 The Office. A safe pick but a really good choice nonetheless. Comedic relief has always been her favorite out of any genre, the desire to have a good laugh stemming from weeks of academic obligation. Shows such as this one permits her to turn off her brain, aimlessly watching dozens of episodes until she realizes that her entire day is consumed by unnecessary reruns. But it was bliss at the time. And it seemed as though she had resorted to this same habit, except now, she was in the arms of a boy, who had done absolutely nothing besides dote on her. For what reason? She had no clue. But man, was she lucky. "You're really handsome." Soojin chuckles, gingerly cupping his cheek with her hand. "Very handsome."

@❛ soojin seo。 "I know, but this is slightly different. It's Netflix." While he had intended for this to come out a bit less obvious, he simply sounds dumb and as he's scrolling through the shows, he settles for one of the more practical shows, The Office. It was one of the shows he turned to when he had nothing else to watch, and as the preview started to blare through the speakers, he turns his head down to face Soojin. The aftereffects of the name still makes him buzz within, and he hopes he can hear her sweet voice say it again. But instead of voicing his desires, he simply sputters out a pathetic, "You're .. really pretty."

@❛ jungkook jeon。 Quite a bold thing of her to say, especially when yesterday's events had left her a flustered mess. He had iterated the same name in the same fashion as she did, catching her off guard and rending her almost entirely speechless. So she had tried her hand at this, expecting the same result, however he only cooly answers, leaving her in slight dismay. Not that it matters, really. "No, I just wanted to see how you react." She states truthfully, opting to rest her head upon his shoulder as she usually would. "You just asked me this question. Whatever you want, Cookie."

@❛ soojin seo。 Babe? Jungkook almost freezes at the name, but recalls yesterday when the same one had slipped through his lips. It makes him both incredibly happy and on edge, because now he doesn't know how to respond. But if the smile indicates anything, it's that he's satisfied. "Calling me babe already, huh?" The television switches to the Netflix screen upon some button pressing, and he scrolls through the list of shows. "Anything you wanna watch?"

@❛ jungkook jeon。 The fact that she somehow fit so perfectly in his arms was astounding, because it was almost far too perfect—like two pieces of a puzzle, or a lock and key. She never found an instance of discomfort, or an aching need to part from him, because somehow, his body cradled her own as if he were a pillow. And damn, she adored it. “Perhaps. Whatever you want, /babe/.”

@❛ soojin seo。 Arms curl around her smaller frame like a perfect fit, tucking her into his side and against his body as close as proximity will permit. Pressing the button for the television, he turns to Soojin to bump their noses briefly, an eyebrow quirked at her playful name calling. "But I'm your dork, aren't I? Now what does my princess want to watch?"

@❛ jungkook jeon。 His enthusiasm does not go unnoticed—the dimpled smile and impatience an all-too entertaining sight for Soojin, who just so happened to miss this energy. But she’s much less lively, the brightness focused upon her beam as she slowly trails behind him to watch in utter amusement. “You dork.” She says in between chuckles, before hopping onto the bed, right in his arms.

@❛ soojin seo。 the door opens a bit too slow for his liking, but when it finally does, he guides her into the apartment and immediately his feet make their way to his bedroom where he topples down on the bed only to crawl to the back to lean against. now, the best part-- he holds his arms out for her with a goofy smile.

@❛ jungkook jeon。 "Slow down!" Her legs are moving quickly to match his pace, unable to steadily catch her breath because instead, she's releasing fits of laughter in true merriment for his enthusiasm. She's taking a brief moment to look down at his figure, a cheshire grin plastered upon her flushed face, carefully lowering herself on the bed beside him with arms anchored on either side of his shoulders.

he tugs soojin into the apartment, door shutting behind them as the furniture in his living room swiftly dismisses themselves from sight upon his guidance to his room, falling back down onto his bed with arms outstretched for her.

@❛ soojin seo。 Fabric billows far beyond delicate hands and he reaches out to fold them into loose cuffs, rolling them once and twice until the tips of her fingers tease his sight. Jungkook presses soft kisses to the ones he can see before sprawling himself out on the bed, foregoing the fact that he’s to be under the blankets rather than wrinkling them by laying on top. His hair splays above his head like a jagged and raven halo, legs idly hanging off the bed as he occasionally knocks his feet together. “Yeah. Probably cause I worked out so much today. Kind of got distracted.” Jungkook sits up, back refusing to alleviate itself of the slight hunch as he wraps both arms around Soojin’s smaller shoulders, tugging her backwards to lay half on his chest. He’s grinning so wide it almost feels like it’s plastered on his face for a facade, but he genuinely feels so lighthearted. “It’s getting late. We should sleep if we’re gonna have fun at prom tomorrow night.”

@❛ jungkook jeon。 She had always had an affinity for large sweaters. Oversized clothing were her preferred article of choice, especially when lounging around in the comfort of her own home. Fitted clothing, though quite flattering for her body shape, would usually be overlooked in her closet, oftentimes ignored for a shirt one size too large or a sweater like this one, where the hem hangs inches below her behind. To her, sweaters like these were loosely compared to the feeling of security that one experiences during an embrace, the warmth of another's body imitated by a thick piece of fabric. Now, to wear the sweater of the person she has undeniable adoration for is admittedly a luxury for the girl. So to say that she is quite ecstatic to wear his sweater is quite a bit of an understatement, as the grin that stretches from ear to ear goes beyond that. She lifts her arms up just above eye level to peer at the sleeves that are far too long for her, inches of the hem drooping down without the support of its wearer. "I could say the same thing about you." She muses, allowing her arms to drop by her side as she takes a seat at the edge of his bed. "Tired?"

@❛ soojin seo。 The cups are neatly stacked away in his cupboard, because no matter what anyone tells him, he’s not a barbarian. He pulls two and fills them with cold water from his filter, sighing in pure content. Soojin’s in his apartment! The water fills halfway and he starts for his bedroom, setting the cups down after pushing the door open with a push of his hip. The cups are set aside on the bedside table, and before he can even push the first syllable of his sentence out between his lips, his eyes catch sight of serene beauty. She’s perfect, so slim and beautifully natural, and Jungkook wouldn’t have it any other way. Hands take hold of her arms, running up and down the fabric of his sweater, adoration evident in his orbs as he just looks. He looks and engrains the image in his mind, because he knows he won’t ever get sick of the sight. “You look cute in this one too. It’s not fair you know, to look cute in everything you wear."

@❛ jungkook jeon。 Though each stride was charged with electrified joy, she tended to fall behind, pacing irregular as she would quicken her steps every now and again to keep up. Not that she complained, really. The girl's gaze was imbued with adulation for the male, chocolate irises coruscating of utter fondness as she fixates on their interlaced fingers, and how large and warm his hand is compared to her own. Two entirely different builds, yet fitting together so perfectly like a key and a lock. Placing her free hand atop the back of his, she is fascinated at how small hers are in comparison, unable to fully encapsulate it despite having both of her hands around his one of his. She smiles, pearly whites in full display when she lifts her head so that she'd meet his pretty eyes, the grin upon an equally gorgeous face compelling her to lean in and plant yet another kiss upon his cheek. "Okay." Was all that she could respond, speechless with jubilation before regretfully parting from him and disappearing into his room to raid his closet and replace his sweater with yet another, larger piece.

@❛ soojin seo。 If anyone from the past were to tell Jungkook that he'd feel so giddy, coupled with boundless childlike joy while holding a girl's hand and practically running to his apartment, he'd probably laugh. But it's exactly what he's doing now and he wouldn't have it any other way, with how her petite hand seems to fit so perfectly into his, with how the little spring in her step and the jocund smile dancing at her full lips made him feel elated. Jungkook hurries to pull out the keys to his apartments, practically throwing the door open before tugging her inside with a goofy smile. "Bedroom's on the left. You can borrow anything from my closet if you want. I'll be right there, I'm gonna bring us some water."

@❛ jungkook jeon。 She bound throughout the corridors, each spring in her step far too animated for an hour as late as this. It's a surprise that she harbors this much energy at nearly two in the morning, because today has bustled with activity for the female. It is easy to say that the jovial smile plastered upon an otherwise fatigued countenance is quite an oxymoron in it of itself, because, with as little sleep as she had gotten the entire week, her buoyancy should not even exist. But she's a good mood. In a /really/ good mood. All thanks to the owner of the hand she held in her own.
