@❛ namjoon kim。 Frowning, Jimin let his thoughts run wild and searched for answers behind closed eyelids. He didn't want to fall asleep, but the temptation to fall into a slumber was nearly overwhelming. His senses were dulled from the alcohol, and he was happily resting atop the lap of his love interest. However, there was a wave of panic that washed over him at the thought of being forced to sleep, and his eyelids shot open as a mantra of "No! Please no. I want to stay awake" fell from his lips.

In a fit of courageous nerve, he stood up from the couch and threw one leg over the elder's lap, arms tucking around his waist, and face nuzzling itself into the side of Namjoon's neck. Mumbling quietly in the elder's neck, he closed his eyelids and rested against the elder like a glorified pillow. "I want to stay right here. It's warm, inviting, and you're here, Joonie..." There was a silent plea in his statement--one of need and want that was purposefully ambiguous; it was both a physical and emotional request.

@❛ jimin park。 Namjoon sits in silence for a moment as he hears Jimin's loud, drunken and salacious words spill from his lips, the alcohol in his own system making it easy for those simple words to spin Namjoon's emotions into a chaotic and warm storm that bloomed so deep inside that Namjoon couldn't tell what part of his chest he felt it in. But he did realize-- that he was holding his breath-- he wasn't breathing from the shock. And it wasn't even that the words were said that shocked him as he's heard plenty of words that sounded as such but it was... that Jimin's voice sounded so sober when he said it. So raw as if Jimin had spilled a piece of his desire right to Namjoon's face. So clear that even Namjoon, while a bit more than buzzed, would be able to remember the words, Jimin's voice, and the way they were spoken more than clearly. Namjoon slowly inhales, and exhales before he regains posture and the ability to speak once again.

"You're... lucky you're not sober..." he points his index finger out and presses the tip of it against the plumpness of Jimin's wine-stained lower lip, gently prodding at it as he spoke, "Otherwise... I'd never forgive you for saying that aloud to me, you'd be in /big/ trouble." although Jimin's happy visage fades away, a warm dimple smile had stolen the spotlight from the usual sullen line Namjoon's lips tended to form regularly. He extracts his hand, their position making it easy for Namjoon to move his hand to trace the tip of his finger up the curve of Jimin's jawline, continuing to observe the other man's facial features with sharp, half-lidded eyes as Jimin's head laid in Namjoon's lap now.

"It's nothing, don't worry about it. And don't flatter my drunk heart with your drunken sweet words. You'll kill me... I'm only doing it because I care about you. I'm starting to wonder if I should try and make you go to sleep though..." his lips purse into more of a thin line for a moment as he begins to drift off into thought, "Instead of talking to you like I planned... you don't seem to have much of a filter on you at the moment and might say some regrettable things but I do know..." Namjoon's finger stops it's trip at Jimin's ear, and he finds himself to be holding onto Jimin's lobe in between his thumb and index finger before he's beginning to tenderly pull at it playfully, "You drinking any more than you already have is definitely off the table now."

@❛ namjoon kim。 Heavy eyelids and a spinning room left Jimin shutting his eyes and relying on his hearing to determine Namjoon's movements throughout the room. His body was tired, but his mind raced far too fast--even if he was sober. Thoughts plagued his mind, and the alcohol only managed to frustrate him more. He couldn't filter throughout the thoughts and relish in the fact that the man of his dreams was voluntarily taking care of him.

"You mean to tell me it's not for the extremely rough ?" His tone of voice is surprised, higher pitched than its normal frequency and resembled that of a whine before he busted out laughing at his clearly outrageous joke, eye-smile more evident than ever. However, once the realization hits him that his joke was verbalized rather than a humorous thought, the visage of happiness fades away. "Sorry" was all he managed as he attempted to lift his head to assist with Namjoon joining him on the couch.

With Namjoon's hands cradling his head and his legs settled underneath, umber irises peered out from behind their shields and glanced up at the man above them. "You're beautiful, y'know? A handsome man with a beautiful soul and a loving heart..." It was the first time in two hours that his mind had focused on one particular subject. With a noticeable gulp, he tried to compose himself and prevent the inevitable flush of his cheeks to no avail. "I just...thank you for this."

@❛ jimin park。 The reckless way Jimin's body flipped and flooped around in his arms had Namjoon to almost be in a slight state of panic for the other male's safety, an "oop" noise falling from his lips when he suddenly feels the frame he was holding slip away from his fingertips, there's a feeling of slight discomfort when Jimin slips away and it has Namjoon internally questioning if the alcohol he let into his body was a reason, that is, until the place that Jimin's body fell was on the sofa, leaving Namjoon at an odd state of blankness for a fleeting moment as he watched the other adjust himself.

"It looks like you forgot the reason I came, Jimin, do you know why we are up here and not down by the pool anymore?" shoes are slipping off of his feet to be nudged to the side of the couch, and he is slipping his beige suit jacket off of his shoulders only to lay it over Jimin's curled up body, and the sight of it has Namjoon pausing for a moment, taking time to notice the face in front of him, taking in and scanning every detail his eyes cared to look at and what his mind cared to remember.

The drunken rosiness of Jimin's cheeks and skin struck him first and the most as he believed a color scheme greatly impacted how art made him feel, and the art of the redness of Jimin's skin gave the impression that every line and curve of Jimin's facial features would take his slightly intoxicated breath away if he dared to stare too long, and with this realization, he was taken out of his brief daze, but the new drunkenness he received just by just looking was still apparent in the way he spoke "I'd give you a blanket but it would take a while for it to get warm... and I probably wouldn't be able to find one anyways-- what was I doing-- I was talking about something." He pauses again, having to recall things that were said earlier to continue the words he meant to say.

"...Oh" despite the realization of the words he was supposed to say, he acts, moving in closer, his hand cradles the warmth of Jimin's neck and some of his head in his palm so he could pull and toss away the pillow that was resting under the latter's head with the intention of making the process less surprising and less irritating, "this is my seat right here " he looks Jimin in the face points his gaze to the now empty spot that the pillow had been in before while his free hand pats his own thigh, "and this is your pillow, kitten."

@❛ namjoon kim。 Rather than responding verbally, the intoxicated male simply nodded with a groan and nearly collided with the storage chest in his entryway. "You're really pwetty when you're being strong like this." He lifts one arm and tries to flex his muscles as if to mimic a semblance of strength despite his wobbly legs displaying the direct opposite as he collapses onto his living room sofa. Resting his head against one of the pillows, he looked around the room and released a content sigh. "Are you gonna stay?"

@❛ jimin park。 A noise comes from Namjoon when Jimin's body bumps into his, both of his hands now going to the latter's frame to keep it steady as he guided them through the door. "It's fine, as long as we have somewhere to settle comfortably." He notices what seemed to be the living room and pulled their intoxicated bodies in that direction, "Is this the way?"

@❛ namjoon kim。 Nodding his head with a yawn, Jimin pushed himself off the wall and collided with Namjoon, stumbling over to try and and keep himself standing. “Oh- Jesus. Sorry. My apartment might be a bit messy, but it’s too late to clean it now.”

@❛ jimin park。 He takes a hold of the lanyard and hovered the key over the lock for it to make a clicking noise, indicating it was unlocked. “Don’t get too comfy against that wall,” Namjoon says reaching over to Jimin’s arm so he could guide him, “we have to go inside.”

@❛ namjoon kim。 Slipping his hand into his pocket, he tugged out his lanyard from his jean pocket and handed it over to his counterpart and leaned against the wall. “Always. I never leave it anywhere unless I’m home.”

@❛ jimin park。 Namjoon can’t help but laugh at the others drunk and stumbly antics, finding it to be mildly adorable “Do you have your key on you by any chance?”

@❛ namjoon kim。 Stumbling seemed to be his forte in the moment, and he found himself quite literally tripping up the stairs. If it weren't for his strong companion, he'd be sleeping on a couch in the lounge tonight. "209- yep." was all he managed to get out with hiccuping.

@❛ jimin park。 Thankfully the trip upstairs wasn’t long, as Namjoon was questioning if he would be able to continue to hold Jimin’s weight against his body as he too was in a bit of an intoxicated state, “You said 209 right? Huh, looks like you’re down the hall from me... is this correct, kitten?”
