Rules

This roleplay will be events-based. Note that these events are somewhat mandatory if you want your character to receive these effects. Disclaimer: these events can and will be either as tame or crazy as possible. The plan is for everyone to start off as mundane as possible. These mere mortals will then [later] be thrown into situations of decision-making and [possibly] tragedy. What does this mean? Basically, we are throwing prompts at you. And you will roleplay how your character would act in that situation. The goal is for you to further develop your character, as each event will (hopefully) add onto your character’s story.

simple event Example: Our first one. Potluck. Make food and meet new people!

crazy event Example: Aliens have come to earth! Coincidentally, the folks at apartment 103 are acting strange! Turns out, the aliens have taken their bodies as hosts and are probably planning world domination! What will you do to defeat these outsiders?

Again, we do not expect you to pump out large paragraphs. We just want you guys to interact and actually roleplay, rather than going back to the old habits of mindless (somewhat ooc) chatting. These WILL be roleplay-wide and not confined to one “event” room. So, when we release the announcement, the event will take over the entire roleplay, as if, in context, the event affects the entire apartment and the residents within it。

disclaimer: more often than not, there will be instances where you and your characters will feel out of the loop and not caught up with the chaos of some of the events。that's okay。it does happen, because most of us are quite busy offline。but to go around it, ask around in character or simply ask in the ooc room to get caught up。we do not expect you to be caught up with absolutely everything。it's like, art imitates life—sometimes you do not fully understand what is going on。sometimes you want to keep to yourself and do whatever it is you like to do。interact with people outside the main plot of the event (while keeping in mind that it's still going on)。

the main point of this rp is for you to develop stories。that is really it。there will be themes, but you choose to do whatever you'd like with your character。

cry, laugh, love, be angry。

whatever you want, really。
