@❖♕ Bambi Naka † A magnificent dragon emerged from the shadow, cutting through the clouds with wingspan that is impressive. It’s presence casting a wide shadow on the ground as it stretched its mighty limbs. Perched on top the dragon’s back is you, regal figure, slave deliver, the Dragon Queen Bambi Naka. Your long raven black hair cascading down your back like waterfall at night, and your piercing eyes. Those enchanting allure of purple eyes, an ethereal fusion of beauty and unease – a twilight’s shadows cast upon a moonlit garden. It is hypnotic. A magnetism that exceeds the ordinary. I might have looked elsewhere but it is you that makes me weak.

I am a ruggedly man, my life messy and so unkempt. I vowed to be at your service from the day we’ve met. Nothing mattered but to see you happy even if it means distancing myself and be excluded from the lot. Here we are. The dragon, Daniel, lifted off the ground, soaring into the air. I held you around the waist, my heart pounding against your back. I could lie and scream I am not a sissy, but this feels so unnatural. A creature of land. I hang onto you with my dear life like the longing I carried for many moons. Many nights I thought of you. I worry and I wish I could’ve said more before going on my own adventure. You were spoken for, and it wasn’t my place to interfere. Now, we are passed the junctions of this affair. You and me – together again. I cleared my throat and prayed I won’t fall off the dragon’s back. My eyes shut momentarily, brushing off the unwarranted fright.

“Have you seen anything like it?” Your voice resonated in me. A blanket of comfort in such freezing night. No longer are we surrounded by the heat of vengeance. I opened my eyes and peered them at the beautiful scenery around us. Then you looked at me. And I lost it.

“Damn. Do you get to see this all the time?” I chuckled, my eyes glinting with both excitement and trepidation. The dragon turned, heading towards a distant range of mountains that rose like giants of the earth. But I never peeled away from you. “It is true what they say...” I spoke too loudly. “You are as beautiful as the stars in the sky. Don’t fly too high, Your Majesty. I might have to try and climb up the mountains, only to find myself falling for you.”

@⥈Christian Yu ¥ Wooseok observed the other's fascination with the fluttering faeries, his sharp gaze trailing the small glowing creatures as they danced in the air. When the male ignored his earlier warning, Wooseok felt a twinge of frustration but said nothing. Clearly, his companion’s curiosity outweighed his caution. However, as the faeries began tugging at the other's hair with their mischievous laughter, Wooseok couldn’t help but smirk slightly, though he quickly masked it when the male swatted at them in irritation. And when he turned to him, grabbing his wrist to lead them away, Wooseok followed without protest.

His own posture was tense, his senses sharp as he kept a wary eye on their surroundings. Even though the faeries had retreated from view, the air felt heavy with their presence, lingering like an unseen shadow. Wooseok could tell the other was on edge, and it didn’t help when the sudden thud of a red apple startled him, sending him stumbling into Wooseok. Wooseok instinctively steadied him, his hand firm on his arm, scanning the area quickly for any signs of the faeries. “They’re persistent, aren’t they?” he murmured, his tone calm despite the tension. “Do you still want to get the flowers?” he asked, tilting his head slightly. “We can keep going if you want, or we can leave this area entirely. It’s up to you.” His gaze lingered on the other, a quiet concern flickering in his eyes. It was quite amusing how the cyborg looked, still adorned with flowers depsite them being in quite a situation.

@〄 Byun Wooseok ¥✔ The small fluttering magical beings caught the merman in a fascinated stance. When the other blocked his view as a protective gesture, Ian took one small step to the left so he could get a thorough look at them - they were small and glowing; like fireflies. The urge to look at one up close and holding em in his hand sent Ian forward. The cyborg's warning to fall on deaf ears. However he halted when two of them were fluttering about his locks, tugging at strands of hair and chuckling wickedly.

"Hey!" Brows furrowed in anger, finding the fascinating creatures to be in fact, distasteful. Ian swatted the faeries off till they flitted away. Upon deciding the faeries weren't nice, Ian looked at his crouching friend with an agreeing nod, "let's go. I don't like them," hand reached down for the other's wrist, the merman dragged him away. Although the faeries were out sight, Ian could still feel their presence, as if they were stalking them, making him anxious. Moreover, he didn't have water with him to defend himself. When a red apple suddenly fell right before them, Ian jumped and stumbled into his friend, heart pounding in distress. There were none of the mischiveous faeries in sight but he knew it was them. They could be hiding and planning their next prank.

@☾ Dong Youngbae The fire had dulled to a faint glow in the distance as we ascended into the night sky, the devastation below shrinking with every beat of Daniel’s wings. I should have felt lighter, but the weight in my chest only grew heavier, guilt threading its way through my thoughts like smoke from the ruins of Fiddles Magical Meadows. It was gone—another haven, another piece of solace ripped from my grasp.

But worse than the loss of the meadows was what I almost lost in my fury. You.

I hadn’t even noticed your state when you approached me earlier. My rage had blinded me to everything but vengeance. But the moment my eyes caught sight of your bare form, heat had rushed to my cheeks, and a part of me—once confident and unapologetic in matters of intimacy—had crumbled like a maid caught in the wrong room. Perhaps it was the memory of us, the ghost of a night shared, that made me falter. Or perhaps it was the way you moved, so sure of yourself even as you cheekily demanded clothes from the terrified crew.

I turned away sharply as you dressed, my skin pinking against my will. It was ridiculous, really—me, of all people, flustered by a bit of . But it wasn’t just that. It was you. You had seen me tonight, truly seen me, the cracks in my mask, the fire in my veins, the frailty beneath my so-called strength. You had seen my rage, my vulnerability, my fear. And now, as Daniel leveled out his flight and the ground fell further away, I couldn’t shake the feeling that you knew me too well for comfort.

The air grew cooler as we soared higher, and when I glanced up, the breath caught in my throat. Above us, the sky stretched vast and endless, a tapestry of stars scattered like diamonds on black velvet. They shimmered, impossibly close, their light reflecting off the thin veil of clouds below us. It was as if the heavens themselves had opened up to offer me solace in the wake of my grief, a glimpse of a beauty I thought I had lost forever.

“Have you ever seen anything like this?” I asked softly, my voice barely above a whisper.

I turned to look at you, the glow of the stars casting a faint light across your face. For a moment, I forgot the chaos we left behind. For a moment, there was only this—only you.

Your expression shifted as you took in the view, something unspoken passing between us. The devastation below, the weight of my failures, even the fractures in my carefully constructed armor—none of it seemed to matter. Not here. Not with you.

I wanted to say more, to tell you what your presence meant, how much your safety soothed the ache in my chest. But the words lodged in my throat, tangled with guilt and desire and a thousand things I could never admit. Instead, I let the silence linger, letting the stars speak for me.

I didn’t know if you would answer my question, and I didn’t need you to. The way you looked at me, the way your presence steadied my wavering heart, was answer enough.

For the first time tonight, I allowed myself to hope—just a flicker, just enough to keep moving forward. Maybe I couldn’t rebuild what I had lost, but perhaps I didn’t have to face the darkness alone.

@❖♕ Bambi Naka † The raging glow of fire consumed everything around us. Once a sanctuary, now a mere memory. A reminder of the huge difference between our current situation. If it wasn't for the timely intervention I would've been nothing more than a pile of bones.

As you slowly turned to me, I paid attention at the colour of your orbs, something I am not familiar with yet there is that Bambi I know. Then silence fell as my words hung heavy in the air. My heart beating loudly, surely got the sense that it sure burdened you. A pang of guilt washed over me when I heard your voice wavered. I am ignorant of your responsibilities. But the captain and his crew bowed till their nose touched the ground. They say words of gratitude for how merciful you are. We were reckless and I blamed your people. I swallowed hard, biting my tongue and contemplated if I should've filtered my words.

Your 's voice rang in my head - stern and almost dictating. My wolf nature wanting to protest as I stood tall, watching him address you. I sighed for he wasn't wrong. I looked over the sea and the burning land as far as my eyes can reach. If you don't leave now, the fairies might hold this against you. I stepped back once the other Dragon shifted into this magnificent beast.

About to walk away as it was never my place to disrupt royal matters, I caught sight of your hand. I was taken aback. As I looked into your eyes, I saw something there that made me feel like I belong. I reached for your hand, softly planting a kiss on them knuckles before pulling away. "Just a sec." I whispered, winking as I pulled away only to run towards one of the crew. The poor man yelled, "Please don't. Pardon me sir."

But I ignored it and said, "Remove your pants."

"Sir?" He was confused and so the captain beside him. Disgust in their eyes.

"Oh come on, mate." I groaned, waving my hand in dismissal. "Not that. I need your clothes."

A sigh of relief escaped the man's lips and in a hurry he handed me his clothes. Clothed with another man's clothes I returned to where you are. "I cannot have them gentlemen and ladies see me . Not when I'm with you." A mischievous smile creeping across my face.

@⥈Christian Yu ¥ The bracelet adorning his wrists felt oddly comforting, the delicate flowers contrasting his metallic frame in a way that seemed almost poetic. Though he didn’t say much, the faintest smile lingered on his lips, his gaze occasionally shifting to the ground to search for more flowers, though he left the gathering to the other and when the other's nose crinkled in dissatisfaction at the lack of flowers, Wooseok tilted his head slightly, his optics narrowing as though attempting to scan the area for new blooms. Before he could even suggest anything, the male tugged at his wrist, and Wooseok followed without hesitation. The soft rustle of leaves and the sound of their steps against the earth were calming, lulling him into a sense of ease that felt foreign but welcome.

It was when the male abruptly stopped that Wooseok’s systems subtly shifted, his posture straightening as his optics flickered in response to the giggling sound. At the mention of "fairies" Wooseok's gaze sharpened, his optics scanning the area with precision. It didn’t take long for his system to highlight small, fluttering figures around them, their glowing forms partially concealed by foliage. His system, immediately showing information about them. "Entities detected: classified as Fae. Subtype: Mischievous fairies. Characteristics: High curiosity, unpredictable behavior, potential for benign or harmful interference." Wooseok’s expression, still calm, gained a subtle edge of protectiveness. He stepped slightly closer to the other, positioning himself between the man and the fae as his system fed him more data. "They’re watching us." he said softly, his voice low as if not to startle the creatures. His optics adjusted slightly, tracking their movements as one darted closer before flitting away again. "They’re curious. Mischievous. Sometimes dangerous." Wooseok murmured, his tone careful yet warm, as if reassuring the other. His gaze shifted to the male then as if silently tellign him to not worry for he would be there to protect him.

He crouched slightly, his optics scanning again before adding, "But maybe… we should not disturb them. They like to play tricks." The faint whirring of his systems blended with the quiet rustle of the forest, before looking up to the male again wondering how the other would like to proceed despite the information.

@〄 Byun Wooseok ¥ Ian crawled forward to sit before the other with legs folded and glistening purple orbs witnessing the completed headpiece in adoration. Other than himself, similar headpiece had been worn by Lana only, given how she was his only friend growing up. Thus the sight of it adorning a stranger's head for the first time filled him with contentment, "yes. Very," came his reply, finding comfort in the activity no matter where he was. Regardless of how seemingly out of place the cyborg was at the moment - in fact, it never cross his mind at all - to Ian; he was a pretty machine with all those flowers decorating his head.

When arms extended, Ian's gaze fell on them and immediately understood what needed to be done. With only the sound of nature filling the silence between the two, delicate fingers started working on a dandelion weave that could fit through one's wrist perfectly. However, only two dandelion bracelets could be made as Ian ran out of flowers. Nose crinkling in disdained momentarily before features softened, "let's go find some more," without waiting for a response, a tattooed hand pulled the other by the wrist so they could look for more flowers. As they were walking, a faint noise seemed to trail from behind, like a giggling. Feet halted so he could listen. With no enhanced hearing, Ian had to rely on his sight in case he could pinpoint where the sound came from, "fairies?" he inquired the other, having no idea how they looked or sounded like, or if they were good or bad. As a result, Ian was uncertain on how to react. His sister, however, always reminded him to be wary and sharp - whatever that means.

@☾ Dong Youngbae The embers of destruction painted the horizon in hues of despair, and the acrid scent of charred wood gnawed at my resolve. My sanctuary, once ethereal, was now reduced to ash and ruin. The blaze devoured the forest, but the fire inside me burned fiercer—a dangerous, untamed thing clawing at the edges of my control.

Your voice, soft yet trembling with something unspoken, broke through the cacophony. “Your Majesty.”
I turned slowly, your words pulling me from the inferno raging both around and within me. My violet eyes, heavy with wrath moments ago, softened as they met yours. Relief surged through me, raw and unrelenting. You were alive. Safe. But my relief was a double-edged sword, its sharpness slicing through the guilt that anchored me to this moment.

You brushed a stray strand from my face, your touch grounding me in a way nothing else could. The tenderness in your gaze made me ache, but your words—oh, your words—twisted the knife. "I am unharmed. So please spare the captain and his crew. It wouldn’t have happened if your people did not set their ship on fire.”
A heavy silence fell between us, the weight of your plea crushing. My heart, already burdened, now bore the scars of my failings. I glanced at the fairy captain, trembling and drenched in fear. The yellow stain on his trousers did little to soften the venom coursing through my veins. Yet, beneath the veneer of fury, there was regret—an insidious shadow clinging to every fiber of my being.

“I…” My voice wavered, uncharacteristically fragile. Lowering my head, I addressed the captain. “I offer my deepest apologies for the destruction my people have caused. No words will undo the harm, but I swear to make amends.”
Daniel stood behind me, his presence a constant reminder of my duty. “The Court Guard will handle this,” he said, his tone clipped, leaving no room for argument. “My Queen, we must return to the Summit. Your safety is paramount.”

But I wasn’t ready to leave. Not yet. The inferno wasn’t the only thing I needed to confront.
I climbed onto Daniel’s back as he shifted into his dragon form, the massive sea-blue scales glinting like a tempest contained. From my perch, I extended my hand toward you, my heart trembling with the weight of unspoken words.

I said nothing, the silence between us brimming with everything I couldn’t express. My outstretched hand lingered, a fragile bridge between duty and desire, the smoke of the ruined forest swirling around us like ghosts of what once was.
Would you take it?
Or would the fire consume us both?

@⥈Christian Yu ¥ Wooseok instinctively took a step back as the male approached, unsure whether to retreat or hold his ground. Yet, something about the stranger's demeanor prompted him to remain still. When the other leaned in, pressing his ear gently against his chest, Wooseok stood frozen, confused but not alarmed. His systems detected no threats, only an odd and genuine fascination from the individual. And before he could say anything, Wooseok found himself being led away, the man's firm yet gentle grip pulling him towards a shaded spot beneath a tree. He sat down as directed, his optics flickering slightly in puzzlement as he took in the serene environment. When a crown of flowers was placed atop his head, Wooseok blinked, momentarily processing the gesture. His gaze shifted to the stranger, noticing the warm smile on his face. Something about that smile was oddly calming, and though Wooseok didn’t entirely understand the significance of the flowers, he chose not to object.

As more flowers were delicately woven into his dark locks, Wooseok remained still, quietly observing the man working his craft. Breaking the silence after some time, he tilted his head slightly, the flowers atop his head shifting slightly with the movement. "Does this make you happy?" he asked softly, his tone curious. With the colorful flowers adorning his head, contrasting sharply with his mechanical build, Wooseok looked undeniably out of place but perhaps, in that moment, also endearingly human.

Not waiting for the other’s response, Wooseok slowly stretched out his arms, palms up, as though offering them to be adorned with flowers as well. If this simple act brought joy to the stranger, then he saw no harm in it. The unusual exchange, while far removed from his usual experiences, felt oddly refreshing. And for a moment, the whirring of his systems seemed quieter.

@❖♕ Bambi Naka † Memories flashed as I saw the hate in the captain’s eyes and I knew that I need to run. I can run fast and transform if I wished to. But i am taken aback by the numbing feeling that travels from my feet up to my fingers. I am sweating as I realise the intention in his face. “Death to you who bed with her.” I remembered being emancipated and reduced to a coward. My body failed me as I stood there vulnerable, pleading for my life when I can easily gnaw on the captain’s neck and be done with it. A mutt says the scar on my chest. Always will be.

There is screeching roar that deafened everything snatched me away from the trance. No longer the hate surrounded me, but something warm - hot even. I saw you, all powerful in your new found life and status. A presence the captain and his crew know too well as they wobbled on their knees. I would’ve laugh at their misery if I don’t have a heart. It pains me that I can see myself in their helplessness. Your voice stern far from the beautiful woman I was with moments ago. My heart swell seeing what you’ve become. I caught vision of your company and what it signifies.

“I think we have scared them enough.” I let out a chuckle and stared at you, my fingers brushing away the strand that’s covering your magnificence. “Your majesty.” I spoke softly and bowed, carefully watching the dragon with you. “I am unharmed. So please spare the captain and his crew. It wouldn’t have happened if your people did not set their ship on fire.”

@〄 Byun Wooseok ¥ It took a good minute for Ian to turn his attention to the sudden intrusion. After finishing a crown for his sister and her friends, the merman's head slowly whipped around. The sight of an unfamiliar figure pulled at his curiosity, urging hin to come closer. The animals scattered as feet rose and started towards the man. The sound of faint whirring beckoned Ian to close the gap between them. Feet lifted as right ear gently pressed against the other's chest, lips curling in both fascination and confusion, the sound was oddly comforting, "you sound like a machine," he murmured - having no prior encounter with a cyborg before, Ian remained puzzled - then pulled away to analyze the taller male's features with head tilting slightly to the right. A smile carved, "handsome," and the male was dragged in excitement, by his wrist towards the merman's previous spot, "come,"

Ian pulled the cyborg to sit down under the tree. A dandelion crown intended for Lana was set on top of his head, "pretty," a smile adorned the merman's face. Somehow, Ian thought that the other could use some more flowers to compliment him, "need more flowers," Thus, scattered dandelions and daises of varying colours adorned the male's head, in which Ian weaved the flowers carefully into the black locks, leaving the top part of his head alone. Questions regarding the cyborg's name or race were never brought up during the session. Ian was too engrossed to care.

@☾ Dong Youngbae The scent of charred wood and ash invaded my senses long before I saw the inferno. My heart thundered in my chest, an unrelenting rhythm that matched the chaos before me. The ship was engulfed in flames, its skeletal remains glowing like a beacon of destruction against the darkened sea. But it wasn’t the blaze that rooted me to the spot—it was you.
Even with the distance between us, I could feel your fear. The fairy captain’s trembling pistol aimed at your head was a dagger twisting in my chest. I clenched my fists, my nails biting into my palms. Daniel’s massive form shifted beneath me, the sea dragon beneath the Queen’s crown, radiating protective wrath.

"Stay back," Daniel growled, his voice deep and unwavering. He had already read my intentions before I could act. His dark eyes, cold as the ocean depths, locked onto mine. "This is reckless. You cannot jeopardize the crown for—"
"For him," I interrupted sharply, my voice cutting through his words like a blade. "And I will not stand idle while you debate my worth or my choices."

Before Daniel could respond, I leaped from his back. The wind howled around me as I fell, its icy grip dragging my hair back as if trying to stop me. Daniel's roar of frustration followed, but I knew he wouldn’t let me fall. His scaled arm swooped down, catching me at the last second and guiding me to the scorched earth.
The ground was hot beneath my feet, but I barely noticed. My violet eyes locked onto the captain as I stepped forward, my voice calm but laced with venom. "Lower your weapon."

He hesitated, the pistol trembling, and I saw your eyes widen as my power surged. The air around me shimmered with heat, a promise of what lay dormant within. The dragon’s embers stirred in my blood, and I let them rise. Steam hissed from my skin as my features contorted into something far from human.

"You’ve taken from me," I said, my tone dangerous, "but threaten him, and you will know what it feels like to have nothing left."
The captain faltered, his face pale, but Daniel’s arrival sealed his fate. He landed with a resounding thud, the ground quaking beneath his massive form, his roar splitting the air. The pistol fell from the captain’s hand as he stumbled back, his courage extinguished like a dying ember.

I stepped closer to you, the fire in my eyes softening, my fury ebbing. For a moment, it was just us, the chaos a distant echo. "You’re safe now," I whispered, though my voice wavered with the weight of what I had revealed.
When I turned back to the captain, I didn’t bother hiding the steel in my tone. "The next time you think to raise your hand against what is mine, remember this moment and pray you never repeat your mistake."

Daniel’s eyes lingered on me longer than I liked, his usual stoicism cracked with something unspoken. But I didn’t have time to decipher it. My focus remained on you as I took your hand, the warmth of your touch grounding me amid the storm. For now, that was enough.

@⥈Christian Yu ¥ Wooseok had accompanied his master to Fiddler's Meadow on an errand to gather materials from the local merchants. While waiting for the goods to be prepared, he had asked if he could wander and explore the area. His master, ever kind, had agreed, and Wooseok wasted no time taking in the surroundings. The vast open meadow and the untouched wilderness felt like an entirely new world, and Wooseok couldn’t help but feel a sense of wonder at the natural beauty of it all.

With his enhanced senses, he was drawn to the forest nearby, the rhythmic sound of birds singing in the trees mingling with something far more ethereal. It was a melody, soft and soothing, a sound that seemed to resonate deep within him. His optics flickered, and his enhanced hearing honed in on the sound, urging him forward. Drawn by the delicate tune, he moved silently, his feet barely disturbing the earth beneath him. Soon, he came upon a clearing where he found a young figure sitting amidst a crowd of animals. The strange scene before him was mesmerizing. Wooseok stood a few feet away, watching as the fellow deftly wove flower crowns with intricate care, surrounded by rabbits, squirrels, and birds, all captivated by the soft lull of the song. The animals seemed enchanted, and Wooseok couldn’t help but feel the pull of something beyond just curiosity. There was an aura of calm, of harmony, around the figure, and Wooseok found himself wanting to get closer, his body moving almost instinctively forward.

But then, as fate would have it, he stepped on a twig. The crack of it under his foot broke the silence, and the animals, who had been completely entranced, snapped their attention toward him. Wooseok froze, suddenly aware that he might have disturbed the moment, his optics dimming slightly in apology. He glanced toward the fellow, hoping to gauge his reaction, yet feeling unsure of whether his intrusion would be welcomed.

@〄 Byun Wooseok ¥ The sound of birds singing in the quiet forest were accompanied by an inaudible mellifluous, silvery croon. The captivating voice unknowingly enthralled nearby small creatures to be an audience. There were rabbits, squirrels, nightingales and robins, and butterflies flocking around a young merman. A white daisy wreath decorated his head. Freshly picked daisies and dandelions scattered around him as he was making another wreath from dandelions. The size was quite small, fitting for a small creature's head. A satisfied smile etched when the crown fitted perfectly on one of the rabbit's head. "Mreow," a habitual noise halted the singing. A finger gently stroking a small, fluffy head. The singing then continued - quiet and velvety, along with the weaving of flower crowns.

Lana and two of her friends from work went to the Fiddlers Meadow for a leisure trip and she just had to bring Ian along - the lushed forest, the leaves dancing among the wind; the firelfies illuminating the night; the picturesque flower fields and of course, the inhabitant of the forest; the faeries. She knew Ian would love it and she was right when she found her brother lying still on a glade - in which their camp was set up - the minute they arrived, watching the cloud passing by. He was instructed to stay and only wandered within the perimeter of their campsite. For a good fifteen minutes, Ian laid there admiring the sky whilst enjoying the grass tickling his skin and the gentle breeze caressing his face. When the word 'flowers' suddenly came to mind, Ian finally moved, got on his feet and went inside the forest in search of dandelions and daisies for his hobby. The area in which Ian got himself some animal audience whils weaving flower crowns was within the campsite's perimeter, given how audible the sound of his sister's and friends' laughters were in the background. Nevertheless, the guffawing fell on deaf ears, like a gust of wind quietly passing by. Ian was already in his own world - singing and weaving to his heart content.

@❖♕ Bambi Naka † The forest that was once so alive now chills me. In this thirty degree heat I'm actually shaking. The trees that sheltered so many with their spreading canopy of green and provided so much are now lifeless sticks of charcoal, no more vibrant than the old lamp-posts in the city. The smell of burning lingered as I trailed back to where the port was. I am determined to chase after you. I did not stop on my track despite the dead bodies of animals scattered all over the scorched earth. They were darkened or partially burned as if they didn’t stand a chance against the fire that consumed their home. All of these to find you, to protect you- their Dragon Queen. Questions ruffled my fur in all sorts of ways. “What sort of council are they running?” I thought seeing the large purple dragon flew away. “Dragons, Youngbae. What do you know about dragons?”

Besides breathing fire, nothing. Uneducated. How can I, a werewolf from a prominent clan, not know anything. I blame my lazy for not listening to the tales told by my elders. If I paid attention and not chase fame or intimacy then I’ll be able to reach you in time. Maybe even be worth of what you are now.

I made a sharp turn around the familiar nook. I’m relying on my senses, my experience and learned skills. The ocean breeze comes in playful waves, washing over me with a salty essence. “Taeyang, is this all you are?” I remembered mu grandfather’s words. “Is this all we are?” I remembered the pack, Jiyoung and the other wolves I know.

“Over here! Hurry up, lads!”

I darted my sight near the deck and couldn’t believe the nasty blaze consuming the ship that’s my only way to get out of there. I transformed back to my human form and did not mind my ness. As I ran towards the fire, i saw the captain with two of crews catching the supplies they are trying save. Few men and women running around with their buckets throwing water.

“What happened?” I stood behind the fairy captain. He turned and immediately he pointed a piston at me. The other men did the same.

“You!” His voice cracked, hand shaking. “The Dragon Queen promised a safe voyage. But look what her people did!” Face reddened, he pointed at the burning ship.

“Wait! Maybe we can—“ I took a step back when he pressed the piston against my head. “We didnt know—“ i raised my hands up in peace.

“Still! You must pay for this. What are you to her?” He demanded an answer but I don’t know how to explain it. “And what the heck, lad? I dont want to see that.” His face sour and I looked down at my ness.

“Look, maybe we can talk things through.” I said.

“i lost a crew member because of this. I’m sorry lad. An eye for an eye.” He said, finger threatening to pull the trigger

@☾ Dong Youngbae [H] Your warmth lingered on my lips as if the world had paused just for us, even as the chaos around us threatened to unravel it all. My heart raced, pounding with a desperate yearning that I couldn’t tame. For a moment, I allowed myself to forget the weight of duty and the suffocating guilt that usually shadowed our every touch.
But then the air shifted. A mighty roar cut through the charged silence, and I turned my gaze skyward. The massive blue dragon descended with a terrifying majesty, its scales shimmering like polished sapphire under the crimson light. My breath hitched, recognizing the creature—Daniel, my trusted advisor, and the Dream Lord himself.
You stepped back instinctively, hiding yourself in the shadows of the boulder as Daniel transformed before my eyes. His human form emerged with that same regal authority, every movement calculated and precise. His eyes, dark and endless, found mine, and for a heartbeat, I feared he’d seen too much.
"Are you hurt?" His voice was low, clipped, yet threaded with an undercurrent of concern. He didn’t wait for my response, his hands meticulously checking me over. Your presence still burned on my skin, and I flinched, caught between his touch and the memory of yours.
"You shouldn’t have wandered so far," Daniel murmured, his gaze piercing, his words teetering between reprimand and relief. His fingers grazed my cheeks before he stepped back, offering me a rare, soft smile that felt strangely intimate.
I swallowed hard, daring one last glance in your direction. You were hidden, but I could feel your eyes on me, the tether between us refusing to break.
"I’m fine," I said aloud, the lie tasting bitter. Daniel didn’t press, though his silence spoke volumes. He turned, shifting back into his dragon form, his massive frame casting a shadow over me.
As I climbed onto his back, I hesitated, my heart aching as I gazed at the meadow one final time. My voice was barely a whisper. "This isn’t over."
The winds carried us skyward, and though the enchanted forest faded below, I left a piece of heart with you—waiting, yearning, unbroken.

My lips were hot, urgent, a wildfire against your cool skin. I spent all these years cultivating control, but at that moment, the desire is raw and untamed heart. Nothing mattered but to get you back from what is taking you away from me. I deepened the kiss. A mistake. That simmering heat boiling over. I’m craving for more despite our kind known to be mortal enemies. Every road I walked all leads me here. You pulled away but I held your waist. I didn’t close my eyes and bask in your beauty - your scent, your eyes, your lips, everything.

“Sorry for—“ I said frowning. “What are—“I tried to make sense of the events that is unfolding. I saw the flickers of unease in your eyes, too, a subtle tremor in your usually composed demeanour. The thundering roar and imposing force rolling like a whirlwind of fire is causing my blood to boil. I balled my fist, ready to fight. But it was too late. Fate snatched you away as if I’m a child who cannot defend myself. I forced a grin as I watched them you.

Now, the flame felt like a dying ember. A raw guttural pain, not unlike the throbbing burn of transformation, ripped through my chest. I let out a low, mournful growl, the sound lost in the whistling wind. Your familiar scent clung to the air, a cruel reminder of the warmth I’d lost.

I shifted, the bones rearranging themselves with bone-jarring pops and snaps. White and grey fur erupting from my skin. I became the wolf, my true self. I raised my head to the sky, letting out a long, drawn-out howl. It wasn’t a mournful cry, but a defiant declaration, a promise whispered on the wind.

I stood there, a lone wolf silhouetted against the pale light of dawn, my golden eyes fixed on the distant pass. The journey back to Bahamut’s Summit is not easy, I know. The treacherous politics of court and the prejudice that hung in the air. If I chase you now, I’ll only endanger not only my life but your status. I let out one last powerful howl before dashing towards the forest to find the fairy captain.

“Wait for me, Bambi. I’ll find you.”

@☾ Dong Youngbae [H] The air burned with the acrid scent of smoke and something primal, but none of it registered beyond the pull of your voice—a tether keeping me grounded in this chaos. Your touch, firm but gentle as you held my waist, sent shivers down my spine. My emotions warred, torn between the fear of the encroaching danger and the relief that you were here with me, a constant in this moment of madness.

"Youngbae," I breathed, but my voice cracked under the weight of everything left unsaid. My heart, fragile as the porcelain shell I hid behind, threatened to shatter.
The beast’s roar ripped through the air like thunder, the vibration stirring something ancient and terrifying in my veins. I stumbled as you pulled me toward the boulder, the world blurring around us into streaks of red and gold. When we stopped, your hand against the stone seemed to ripple with a strange energy, one I didn’t have the strength to question.

Your gaze locked onto mine, intense and full of a storm I couldn’t name. I saw the decision in your eyes a split second before you moved, and then everything else melted away.
Your lips crashed against mine.
Time splintered, the chaos of the world muted as if the universe held its breath. The kiss wasn’t a question or even a plea—it was a demand, raw and unyielding. For a heartbeat, for an eternity, I was yours again.

The weight of my fears lifted as your warmth consumed me, filling the cracks I’d long hidden from the world. My arms instinctively wrapped around your neck, desperate to hold onto this stolen moment. My guilt, the grief that had clung to me like a shadow, disintegrated. All that remained was you—familiar and new, dangerous and safe.

But the illusion shattered as the roar of approaching wings grew louder, and reality intruded with merciless clarity. I broke the kiss with a gasp, my trembling hands still clutching your shoulders.
The dragon council. They were here.

The air turned sharp, laden with judgment and duty. My heart screamed to stay, to run with you into the unknown. But the burden of my crown weighed heavy. If they found you, they’d reduce you to nothing more than ashes on the wind.
“I’m sorry,” I whispered, voice trembling with everything I couldn’t say. My fingers brushed your cheek one last time, lingering as though I could imprint the memory of you into my skin. “This isn’t over.”

With a heavy heart, I stepped away, my footsteps slow but deliberate as I turned to face the oncoming search party. Their stern faces softened slightly as I raised my hands in surrender, my tone calm and steady as I assured them of my safety.
I spared you a final glance, my eyes locking with yours in a silent vow: We’ll finish this, no matter what it takes.
As they led me away, my heart remained behind, tethered to the man who had unraveled me with a single kiss.

@❖♕ Bambi Naka † Standing in the middle of this small paradise, there is a nostalgic sense of being caged in the commitments we gave the other. One could curse the heavens when your voice reached my hears - weak as if tired of suppressing whatever is bothering you. I hated it that all I can do is to offer my company, not daring to step out of line. Once maybe where I regretted being a coward who ran away, leaving you to deal with the wrath that followed.
I wanted to stop you from turning your back at me, but I know you so well to respect your space and let you finish. All ears to listen. Those tears tainting your porcelain skin is like a dagger opening my old wound. I wished to know the cure for that pain as I step forward when your voice cracked.

“Bambi.” I said softly.

So many words that are left unsaid but that won’t ease it. “Warmth” I thought. My only tool in my sleeve ready to use if you’d only let the walls to crumble in front of me.

“Bambi” I softly said. I held my breath and bit my lip allowing the storming thoughts of possibilities that are being presented in front of me. You are an arm’s reach. I can provide the comfort you need. I reminded myself that you belong to someone who is possibly alive. But the line is starting to blur.
“There is a time to morn and I think I you have morn—“

A roar shook the ground cut me off that I spun around to see the blazing fire inching its way to us. A beast circling the heavens. “Who—“ I turned to you not moving “For sake!” I growled and leaped forward, grabbing you by the waist to usher you towards the other end of the meadow as quick as possible. I kept looking around to where to escape. My eyes darting around the small entrance that is being consume by crimson light. “No way I’m taking you there” I mumbled at myself trying to think of what to do. I saw a huge boulder near the waterfalls and ran there with you, hoping that would give me time to reach you. There was another roar but this time it felt closer as the wind harshly blowing around us. I swear I could smell leather being burnt but dare not look what is waiting for us. I pressed my hand against the cold surface of the stone, feeling the strange, pulsating energy flow through me. Another roar tore through the air, shaking the very ground beneath us. I made a mistake to have a look and the beast descending. My eyes find yours. “Forgive me.” I sighed and grabbed you by the cheek and pressed my lips against yours.

@☾ Dong Youngbae [H] [Sorry its a bit long, I've been thinking of what to say to this reply for months lol XD]

The mist thickened between us, curling like a phantom whispering secrets I dared not speak aloud. I felt the weight of your gaze pierce through the shroud, and though your warmth drew me near, I couldn’t bear to face you fully. Not yet.

“Suits me?” I repeated softly, a weak attempt to match the playful lilt of your voice. My trembling hands betrayed the effort, clasping together to still their betrayal. Your touch lingered on my skin, igniting a flicker of something I had tried for so long to suppress. How cruel it was, this undeniable pull between us, like gravity demanding submission.

“I’ve tried…” My voice faltered, trailing off into the stillness that hung in the air. When I finally met your eyes, I saw a reflection of something terrifying—hope. “I’ve tried to move on,” I admitted, the words heavy with shame. “But how can I when I don’t even know if he’s dead or alive? How can I allow myself to forget, to feel anything other than this endless waiting?”

I turned away quickly, hoping the dim light would mask the single blood tear slipping down my cheek. But I knew you saw it. You always saw through the mask I wore, the armor I had built over years of heartbreak and survival. I wanted to curse you for it, for making me feel like the girl I used to be before the weight of titles and losses buried her.

“I shouldn’t have asked,” I whispered, my voice cracking under the strain of holding back the tidal wave threatening to break. “You’re right. We have to move on, don’t we? Even when it feels like betrayal.”
I took a step back, retreating into the shadows of the clearing. “But it’s never been that simple for me, Youngbae. You know that.” My hand went to my chest, as if pressing against the aching void might steady my thoughts.
“Do you think…” I paused, the words burning on my tongue. “Do you think we’ll ever stop being haunted by what we’ve lost?” My question hung in the air like a fragile thread, daring you to grasp it.

And then, as if the universe itself sought to answer, a distant roar shattered the quiet—a sound so foreign and menacing it froze the blood in my veins. My head snapped toward the treeline, the faint flicker of crimson light cutting through the mist.
“Did you hear that?” I whispered, the tremor in my voice betraying my dread. My instincts screamed danger, but my feet refused to move. For the first time in years, I felt utterly and completely exposed.

And you… you were the only thing between me and whatever darkness was closing in.

@❖♕ Bambi Naka † Deeply I glanced, my smile fading into true sincerity and spoke of the very thing I missed to say before, "Beautiful. So beautiful it hurts." Those words hung in my lips, adoring those beautiful orbs and unbothered by how cold your skin against mine. But like the water cascading down to damp the very ground it gathered, your inquiry of how your present would be if the Dragon King is by your side led me to draw my hands away and softly hummed, kicking the annoying itch inside that is making me cringe questionably. I stood closely, lowering my head, staring at our feet for reasons I'm not entirely sure. In my head, it'll be easier to offer comfort for the man you long for but I know nothing about either him or what happened. I sighed, pulling off a warm smile that was soon replaced by widened eyes, taking a step back and nervously chuckled. "Her....?" I paused, frowning and scratching my head to whom you are referring to. The urge to run knocking against my rib for I've been long gone. I counted backwards from the day I arrived, the merfolk I met during my travel or the ladies I offer my service to. "Levy?" Her name escaped my lips. The Human Queen who I somehow lost from an incident I dreaded to happen. Sadness filled my heart as the last time I heard from her was when the Vampire Doctor promised to heal her. The rushing water became louder as I looked at the sky then at you. "I do." I exhaled, rubbing your arms that seems to calm me down. "But I have to move on."

@☾ Dong Youngbae The mist collects around us in a thick layer. When I turn to look at your reaction I notice you're not watching the water. You’re watching me. I watch as you move through the mist to meet me as if your feet are silenced on the ground. Something on your face stops me from proceeding with my sentence when I catch the glint in your eyes. “Suits me?” As you collect my face in your hands, I felt a shiver. I swallow, then take a beat to steady myself, then speak the truth that I think you more than anyone can understand. “I’m nothing of significance. I just trying, well for once I keep doing the right thing.” I paused to gather my nerve, thinking my words over carefully. “I keeping thinking, what would he have down if he was ruling in my stead? What actions would a real dragon king take to safeguard and revitalize their populace? What he would want me to do now that he is…Now that he is gone...”

I sighed, forcing the conflicting emotions down. It seems as if it was time to say the quiet things and ask the quiet questions. So I do. “Do you miss her?”

@❖♕ Bambi Naka † It was here, beneath the ethereal glow of twilight, that I caught a sight of you rolling your eyes that not only heart melting, but also released the playful fool I can be. As you exude a timeless elegance, I moved closer wondering the sacred use of such riddled mechanic. I tilt my head stealing glances at your body from head to toe. Your alabaster skin shimmered like moonlight, and your crimson lips hinted at secrets that could uncover the wonders of the night. In hind sight, I could sense the difference from the first time we met. Out in the wild, with you alone. I never felt unsafe or threatened. As you beckoned me, taking my hand as we walked inside the clearing. I spun slowly, letting go of your hand as I take in the wonder and beauty that is before me. My heart quickened "Ah no wonder why..." My lips curved in a mischievous smile, but the spark in my eyes flickered with the weight of my nature as I looked back at you. "This place suits you." I said, gently placing my hands over your cheeks and chuckled. "Magnificent and beautiful."

@☾ Dong Youngbae I stifled a snort when the branch hit your head. “Friendlier?” Tilting my head to the left peering at you in the darkness before immediately regretting it. That dumb grin on your face reappeared. Rolling my eyes turned my gazed on the puzzle that stood before me once again then exhale breathe to call upon my vampiric power and dragon signet. Long razor sharp claws extend from my fingers tips, emitting a bright violet glows. I whispered ancient incantation I’d learn from the former King then just as practice I release the energy with a great slash. Thicket crumbled to dry piles of ashy debris in front of my allowing across to pass and enter the clearing. “Come on, we have walk on foot from here.”

In the meadows, I reached for your hand, ensuring you stayed close. I take a moment to inhale the comforting aroma of your innate scent. As I breathe in, my nose is filled with the scent of cedar wood, cinnamon spice, earth, and smoky whiskey, warming my insides. Unknowingly, a content hum slipped out, resembling a purr. Eventually I finally hear water. I tugged you through the last bit of trees before we are at starlit clearing with mist floating low over the damp ground and there at least two story high is a crystal blue waterfall crashing down into a pool surrounded by boulders the size of cares. The forest floor is adorned with plush lilac purple flower beds that come to life as vibrant fireflies light up the surroundings. I step away from you smiling at the mist breaks and parts around my ankles. I turned back to you see you reaction then stand in front of you with my hands behind my back slightly bouncing on my tip toes.

“So what do you think?”

@❖♕ Bambi Naka † Frustrated may not be the right word for it, but how I’d love to clear see in the dark so that I could bask in your heart melting beauty partnered with the adorable antics of being all embarrassed. “Oh moon goddess, I beg you to restore my powers.” I looked up to seek the brightest star and prayed silently wishing to hear the faint beat of your heart go faster, like that of the last time we were alone. Your words tickled the soul that I bite down my lip, holding my own opinion.

I rolled my tongue inside my mouth, pacing quicker to face you as I walk backwards. “Eh? It might be so, but had me at hello, Your Majesty. “You can’t what?” I tilted my head but something whacked my head. “Ow!” I exclaimed then walked properly, noticed the hanging branch. “Friends.” I snapped a look, chuckling. “Friendlier.”

@☾ Dong Youngbae As we walked on the docks, our footsteps echoed until we entered the silent darkness of Mossgrove of Thalia. I maintained a steady pace, attempting to ignore the uncomfortable tension in the air. I refused to look at you, as I could nearly feel the mocking damn grin would surely be on your face. Instead, I concentrated on the path ahead, determined to neutralize my expression to appear more half-bored and focus on the destination. Between my stomach anxiously performing somersaults and my heart’s erratic throbbing beat, I attempted to do the racial thing and pull my together.

“Whisked you away, did I?” I mocked with a chuckle. “Ha, you’re a grown man.” I rolled my eyes, grateful you couldn’t see my expression in the thick of canopy forest. I say ironically at the same time as I reached for your hand to guide you through the dimly lit thicket. Scattered spots of starlight beamed on dying leaves crunching under the weight of my boot soles, the wind whizzing through the wooden trunks of the trees. I tugged at my sable cloak, tucking in firmly around my midsection for comfort, feeling somewhat vulnerable.

“You could still just as easily refused my offer and join another’s company if you preferred Master Youngbae.” I pull up my hood hunched under a branch, silent and solen. Faint traces of moonlight peeked through the veil of the forest. “Hence, I can’t quite describe us as Lo-“ I shook my head, pondering my thoughts, unsure of the appropriate label. “We’re friends.” My voice wavered in convection at my carefully selected term. The chorus line of crickets seemed to swallow my words by them as if entertained by a pretense-aligned game of ‘Lovers’. As I cleared a low-hanging branch from the path, I paused by a dense cluster of trees.

@❖♕ Bambi Naka † Under that moonlight, the air shimmered with a tinge of magic as the midnight ferry, a vessel crafted from ancient wood and adorned with luminescent runes, glided silently over the ethereal waters. Never had I found peace in such tranquillity but tonight felt different. My eyes peeled off at the beautiful scenery when the captain announced that we arrived at our destination. The respect he showed you placed things into perspective, though somehow money speaks as the Fae Captain suggests buying the silence of another.

My jaw fell at his statement but quick to hide the awkwardness by laughing it off. When I caught of your mortified expression, the uncomfortable feeling disappeared. Folding my arms over my chest, I cocked a brow and watched you rushed past him. “Sir” The Fae Captain addressed me, confused scratching his head. I bid him farewell and thank him for his service. “Come on now. Is it so bad that he mistaken us as lovers?” A devious grin playing on my lips as walked few steps behind you. “I mean you whisked me away in a ship without your guards. You are alone with me, Bambi.”
