@✽ chan b. There was so much going on at once that Areum was finding it a little difficult to focus. Not physically, but mentally. There was a camera, a livestream, a design issue, lack of preparation and a new client on top of that. However, despite the embarrassment and awkwardness she just continued to push on through. This was her domain and she had power here, comfort, and so it was easy to get back to an even keel.
Her nimble fingers quickly found the appropriate packet for him and slid it across the counter with a pen adorned in cute skulls for him to start filling out. “It’s all good. I will do my best to not get you in trouble but I am a fluffin’ idiot so I can’t guarantee anything.” The woman answered as she went back into the file and sent it to the printer. “It’s up to you if you wanna take that risk or wait for someone a little more, umm, audience friendly. My bedside manner is .”
Without even thinking about it she simply winked at him and walked off to the back to get his design sheet. She turned it over in her hands a few times and chuckled, he had some interesting fans to say the least. Maybe this wasn’t going to be a complete and total disaster. As she came back, she held it up for him to see. “Sir, if you wanted to, I would put a bunch of with faces on your face. Or on your . I might even be gentle. I simply make your dreams come true in ink, no matter how fudged they are.”
@✽ areum k. Looking at the messages in his chat he couldn't help but laugh at how his chat were catching onto how badly his tattoo artists was trying to not to swear on his live stream before chuckled looking at the artist smiling rather embarrass cause indeed he knew they had the art his fans had decided on file. "um.. this embarrassing.. the design i had sent to the file. I guess they gave me your name but it wasn't yourself that i spoke to the person last time." He couldn't help how red his cheeks had gotten as his chat were teasing him about the embarrassing tattoo he was about to get thanks to them.
Laughing awkwardly while answering his chat before looking back to Areum with an apologetic smile. "im assuming they also didn't tell you i would be live streaming the entire appointment?" He said while pulling up his design of the fist with the middle finger up with a heart on the finger as he smiled at the artist awkwardly. "would this design be alright? and.. um my steaming the entire time? it just about means they will hear everything we say and can ask questions and comments and everything." He said with a small smile hoping he wouldnt be turned down or even worst offending the artist as he scratched the back of his neck.
@✽ chan b. It took a few heartbeats for Areum to gather herself enough to respond as she was completely taken aback by the whole thing. Her dark eyes went wide as her gaze shifted from the smiling man, to the camera, and then back like she couldn't quite believe what she was seeing. The woman was quick to adapt though, putting on as genuine a smile as her awkward self could muster and mentally strangled whichever of her colleagues put her up to this. Still, it wasn't this guy's fault and she did her best to try to soften to him just a little bit.
"Sir, I mean this with no disrespect, but I have no idea who the f-frankenstein you are." She answered honestly, quickly correcting herself for the streaming audience. Even on her best days she was hardly family friendly but she would attempt it. "And there seems to have been a fuuuudge up. It was not me you spoke to but that's okay. Adapt and overcome or whatever it is the marines say. Is that the marines? Doesn't matter."
Areum flicked her wrist in a dismissive gesture at whatever train of thought that was which she didn't need to wander down at that moment as she pulled up the file on the computer. It had the appointment time and a drawing of a heart on the end of a middle finger but nothing else. There was no way such a seemingly nice guy was getting that and it was no doubt a note for her left by the same person who set her up so she turned back to the male with what could only be considered an apologetic smile. "Alright, so I have nothing in your file which means I am going to need some things from you. Paperwork, mostly, and a bit of information including the design. Are you a ?" she blurted out without thinking, not even bothering to explain what she actually meant as she began getting the documents in order.
@✽ areum k. Smiling to himself and well more to his Camera Chan stepped out of the subway station talking to his fans as he did a live stream while heading to his tattoo appointment. Having hit is stream goal for his third year anniversary as promised he was getting a tattoo by designed by his fans. As he got to the shop he replied to the last comment before opening the door about greet the person who came to behind the cash before looking shocked at the greeting laughing and nodding. "Ah.. Yes thats me! Do you know me?" He asked with a small laughter surprised by the outburst he was not expecting. "I believe i spoke to Areum about getting a tattoo while live streaming for my fans. we were um getting my ribs tattooed." He said with a rather awkward smile still taken by surprise by the outburst earlier.
@✽ chan b. The bell over the door chimed with her entrance as she looked about the small, empty lobby with a bemused grin. It looked like it was going to be another slow day and that meant she could probably knock out enough games on her phone to finally unlock the character she had been grinding for in her off time. Or that was the hope anyway. While she did technically need the money for rent, she still had a nice bit of a cushion to fall back on and she didn’t much feel like dealing with indecisive customers or the girls who just wanted a cute little butterfly on their shoulder; just like everyone else. It was enough to make her gag.
With a few heavy booted footsteps she found herself behind the desk and looked over the appointment book. Odd, she had something scheduled but she didn’t remember agreeing to it or fielding the call. And there were stars around it to try and signify some kind of importance but she didn’t know what. “Awe, fu-“ she exclaimed but caught herself as she watched a male walk through the door carrying a camera. ‘What fresh hell is this?’ Areum thought to herself as she raised an inquisitive eyebrow at the newcomer. “Wait, wait, don’t tell me. Bang Chan?”
@✽ hanse d. This is new. Since he was unsure of what would be the best for his beginner tattoo, Hwanwoong didn't anticipate getting one anytime soon as he never knew what may suit him as his first. There had been a number of options, but he had to be certain before moving forward with the plan because, as common sense dictates, tattoos are typically permanent. Now that they can be removed, who would want such priceless works of art eliminated? Considering how much effort had been spent into them. The male had seen these artworks on other individuals, and my, oh my, you can pretty much get anything done to your body; some of them are a little odd, while the alternatives are rather lovely.
Woongie had heard of a tattoo parlor that was now operating in Dandelion Town, as it appeared to have been open for some time. He had heard about it from some of the customers of the bar where he works, and the name had captured his attention to some extent. Before going to the place, he'd made sure to research the shop ahead of time, to see the business's opening hours, then he made sure to check out "Bound by Design" right away. He is fortunate that the store accepts walk-ins because he is unsure of when he will be able to schedule an appointment. Now that that is over, Woongie has some spare time, so he decided to go to the location of this shop. He made the required effort.
After a couple of minutes, he found his way to where the shop was located and gazed around how it looked, intrigued by how it was on the outside and indoor. It took a moment of last mental decision before he continued with his original decision, by opening the front door and stepping in as the door shut behind him. “Oh-” he muttered and glanced around the shop out of mere curiosity, before heading over to what looked to be some sort of desk. “Hello?” he called out in a soft tone, honestly in awe at the sight of the various types of tattoos.
@✽ christopher b. "ah that's perfect." kyungri nodded a few times and them moved over to the back hallway, pointing at a few doors with a hum leaving her lips. "break room, gender-neutral bathroom, and the private piercing room. that's where i do the and piercings. it's seen more clients than i thought in a town like this, but it's not too bad." she laughed quietly and moved back out to the front desk, sitting down in a chair and sighing happily. "i'll teach you korean at your pace, so you can get the basics down before we move on. hopefully by the time i'm called away for another modelling shoot, you'll be good enough that i can have you manage this place, if you want?"
@✽ yuta n. kyungri looked up when someone walked into the shop, and she picked up a clipboard before placing it on the counter where the man was standing. "what piercing are you thinking of getting? fill this out for me, please."
@✽ kyungri p. /walks in on an impulsive note, deciding that today was the day before he pulled away his coat, greeting the staff that was on duty with a bow
hi, i'm here for a piercing, are there any slots available?
@✽ jongup m. “Okay, that sounds good then!” Chan sat in the fancy tattoo chair for customers with a little stool beside it for the designer, Jongup, to sit on, as well as some equipment resting on the table. He took a deep breath, feeling a little worried about the pain but he could probably handle it, he’d be given some time to heal between sessions anyway. “You’ll do great, Lee Chan. You’ve gotten piercings, injections, and injuries before. Piece ‘o cake.” he muttered to himself, trying to hype himself for the pain incoming.
@✽ johnny s. "aye. don't say that. I wish my foods can go through to your heart but I guess your heart was made by some gold or something,, so maybe I should stay humble and low without having any hope. hahah " said her as she laughs. "well yeah,, it is hard to find now. but hey I'm right here though????"
@✽ johnny s. "Oh, overwork? I can understand that, and if it's any comfort, I promise I'll take breaks and take care of myself." He took a deep breath, gaze diverting elsewhere as his thoughts trailed off. "Besides... working a lot will help keep my mind off of certain things." He's been thinking about starting to smoke weed, to be honest. His friends did it back in Sydney and they always seemed to have a really good time. Plus they always told him it helps with anxiety, which is something Christopher is plagued with. He'll have to look into it. "Alright, uh- I'll choose this chair then. I'm a leftie anyways, so it works perfect."
@✽ sejeong k. "if you want it to, then it will." johnny laughed quietly and gave sejeong a smile before continuing to eat, listening to her speak carefully and nodding a few times. "everything being fair and square would be the most ideal, but that's hard to find these days."
@✽ christopher b. "i just don't want you to overwork yourself, is all." johnny nodded a few times and gave christopher a small frown, patting his shoulder gently. "yeah, i've got extra stuff here too in case you're missing anything, so it's all good. you can pick whichever chair you want, this one's mine right here. and back there is the break room and bathroom."
@✽ johnny s. "oh .." sejeong stops eating as she looks at johnny's handsome features. "does that means my food can get it's way into your heart ? pmsl. you're cute. " she listened to his story with a soft hums before she nodded. "I got you somehow. tbh I don't really like it either if only one side is paying everytime they went for a dates. just like you, I preferred to be fair and square. if you love someone, you gotta be by their side no matter what circumstances it is. despite having money or not. "
@✽ johnny s. Had he said something wrong? Why did Johnny squint at him like that? "I hope I didn't offend you somehow," he says softly, brows pinching a little. Christopher gets up to his feet as well and toys with the loose string at the end of his sleeve. "Yeah, that's works fine! I'll have to go back to the apartment so I can go grab my things to set up my station but that can wait until later."
@✽ christopher b. "yeah, open and close." johnny nodded a few times and narrowed his eyes at christopher's words before nodidng a few times, standing up and taking the paperwork. "come on, i'll show you around. you can work open to close but you get a day off, non negotiable. you can choose which one, of course."
@✽ sejeong k. "food." johnny answered before giving sejeong a small smile, looking back down at the lunchbox and getting himself some more kimchi fried rice. "honestly, it depends. there's never just one thing that really gets me, but i really value honesty. i also...i don't know, i don't want to be the only one paying whenever dates happen. i've been taken advantage of too many times."
@✽ johnny s. Now that all the paperwork was filled out, Christopher organized it all into one neat pile before handing it over with a small smile. "That's good then. It gives people a range of to work with knowing that their tattoo artists can do many things instead of being a one-trick pony. But I did see that you're hiring for pretty much all positions, right? Opening and closing?" He pauses briefly to ponder in his thoughts, weighing his options. "I could be both. Until you find more people, at is. I mean, I'll need the hours anyways - I have yet to stock up more groceries."
@✽ johnny s. she smiling when the male gesture her to sit down as she kindly followed and having a seat. " you're right. it's simple for anyone who's already married. while I'm still not. it's just I don't like when she's teasing me and yeah. everyone have their life times to do this and to do that you know. " tell her again as she's munching her food. " but thanks though. I know I can trust you with my foods that I make. heh. so is there any way to your heart then, johnny?" asked her jokingly.
@✽ christopher b. "we already get a lot of variety in the tattoos that people want here, it's really refreshing." johnny nodded a few times and gave christopher a small smile, looking over the portfolio some more and nodding to himself again. "yeah, you'll for sure fit in. it's pretty chill right now, i'm fairly open with hours so you can come in whenever. we're open from noon to midnight."
@✽ johnny s. Hoping that his portfolio was ideal and intriguing, Christopher sets the phone down on the little coffee table so that Johnny could look through everything while he handles the paperwork. He reaches out to take it, mismatched eyes scanning the papers intently, only skimming since he's read these things plenty of times before and they're become rather mundane, common. The compliment towards his style has Christopher's smile broadening until his eyes turn to crescents; flustered, timid. "A-Ah, thank you. I enjoy real life portraits and doing animated characters a whole lot. I went delve more into writing pieces with quotes and all that. I've only gotten to do a few of them but they came out very well!"
@✽ sejeong k. johnny laughed quietly and pulled out the second chair at the front desk for sejeong to sit at, patting the seat before going back to the food. "i would say so, yes. food is definitely the way to a man's heart and this is really amazing. i think getting married takes time, it's hard to find somebody who's going to be your other half for the rest of your life."
@✽ johnny s. sejeong returning the same grins and nodding her head. "do you think so? does that means I am eligible to get married yet? my mom said if I don't know how to cook, she won't let me marry anyone. bc its important for woman to know how to cook. and you know what, my sister keeps nagging me to find a man. why does she thinks it's simple and easy?? just because she's married doesn't meant it's going to be easy for me too ?? ugh. it's frustrating sometimes .." rambling her without thinking as she eating the rice as well.
@✽ sejeong k. johnny grinned at the nicknmae sejeong spoke aloud for him but didn't say anything about it, deciding that eating was more important than giving her about it. he picked up the chopsticks and got himself a large bite, his amber eyes growing wide in surprise as he chewed. "sejeong-ah, this is amazing. seriously, you're such a good cook."
@✽ christopher b. johnny managed to find an english version of his hiring paperwork and he brought it out for christopher to fill out, grinning widely once he saw the portolio pulled up. he immediately noticed a few familiar pieces, seeing a couple on christopher's body. "oh, your artwork is beautiful, i love it so much. as you can see, i myself dabble all over the place in my preferred style, so variety is absolutely welcome here!"
@✽ johnny s. sejeong was a little flustered at Johnny's expression somehow its makes her heart clenches at the pretty sight of him being excited over a food that she makes. "ah you're fluttering me,, johnbear. " she bites her lips as the name she used on her phone for johnny was slipped out of . " i meant johnny.. aish. let's just eat ? give it a taste then." asked her as she's somehow anticipating his reactions.
@✽ johnny s. "Johnny. Got it. Thank you for letting me work here, it means a lot. Oh! Yes, yes - I will pull up my portfolio so that you could look through it after you find the paperwork." Christopher bows his head in his new boss' direction before settling back down into the couch, pulling his phone out. He had downloaded the portfolio in a PDF on his phone so that it was easier to navigate. It had plenty of pictures of all the pieces I have done over the years and it was clear that Christopher really enjoyed the 'challenging' pieces. The ones with much more details, much more lines, and shading. The style varied from portraits to 3D dimensional characters, all of which had depth. Not to mention, he's even wearing some of his own works right now; both pieces on his forearms, the one on his chest and even on his leg were all self done.
@✽ sejeong k. johnny practically had heart eyes as he looked over all of the food sejeong had made, and he grinned widely before looking at her with sparkling eyes. "all of this for me? this looks absolutely delicious, sejeong-ah. i'll eat it well, i promise. wow, i haven't had kimchi fried rice in so long."
@✽ christopher b. "johnny. nice to meet you, christopher." johnny laughed quietly and shook christopher's hand firmly, nodding a few times before getting up and running a hand through his hair. "let me get that paperwork real quick and then after you're done filling it out i can show you around, yeah? it's pretty minimal in decorations right now, but each station has an area where you can put up your own artwork and such."
