@✽ sejun l. of course she was tense. how would he feel if a random stranger, even though a neighbour, started to get all cosy out of the blue and touching him? chuckling lightly as if to pass off any awkwardness, she tried to move away from his touches, getting all intimate with the railings instead. "that's true but there's nowhere in my house that i could have peace to drink despite the home which is supposedly to be a place of solace." exhaling a short sigh out, she took another swig of her beer. youngji froze upon hearing his offer, wondering if he was drunk as well and waved it off with her free hand. "I'm good. I'm definitely good. This can of beer should suffice." she then let out a dry laugh and turned her body away from the other, wondering why she had to run into one piece of bad luck and into another continuously.

@✽ sejun l. bringing the can to her lips, she was about to take a sip when the neighbour out of the blue dropped his bag by the door and that was already raising some alerts in her mind. since she would know a couple of moves to apprehend him when needed, she would act like she would be calm but actually on the lookout for any suspicious motive and again her drinking the beer would most likely be the anti-counter to what she was about to put out when being in the fight mode but she definitely needed it to destress at the end of the day anyways. "mhm? yeah, everything's fine. you looked like you had a long day at work. i hope you will have a nice rest afterwards." as much as this man was giving off a lot of bad vibes from the day one he moved in, youngji tried to be as amicable as possible as courtesy was always basic and who know, one day she might need his help with whatever it was. to fight off this growing awkwardness, she once again took a big gulp of the beer and looked straight at the surface of elevator doors, not knowing what else to say or to to continue the conversation.

@✽ sejun l. after having managed to put her daughter to sleep after an exhausting struggle since it was her sleep regression, she let out a small sigh and headed towards the kitchen, prying open the fridge to retrieve a can of cold Terra beer and popped it open. It was a long night for the single mom and honestly it was truly a struggle on her own. wanting to be out of earshot of her daughter yet at the same time still remaining close, she brought along the baby monitor with her and headed out of the house to sit at the staircase which was just a couple of steps away. at the very least, the connection between the baby monitors wouldn't be broken. with her firmly planted on the step of the staircase, she took a swig of the beer and looked up to see the elevator doors opening and out came the neighbour she occasionally bumped in the morning while sending her daughter to daycare. she bowed her head in greeting and looked away briefly, continuing to drink her alcohol in peace.
