@✽ ten l. Chan listened intently, nodding as he absorbed every single word his roommate said. He moved a bit closer, not sitting at the kitchen island but just hovering nearby, smiling at Louis who was casually rejected by his owner and pushed off. “Wow, hourly? Damn… designers like me do not get tips, if only.” Chan couldn’t control his expression when Ten mentioned the lapdances, his face turning into a grimace, though not one of judgement or disapproval, not against Ten anyway. It was his job, but it was towards the handsy people during the lapdances. “Don’t you guys have, uh, labor stuff with that? Like, kicking people out— I dunno.”

@✽ chan l. "it is, actually." ten hummed quietly at chan's question and gently pushed louis off of the counter before taking a large bite of his food, humming happily and cracking open the can of beer he had gotten for himself earlier. "i do get an hourly pay, because the club is nice, but any tip i get during my performances on the main stage are all mine. the lapdances make good money too, but people tend to get too handsy with me."

@✽ ten l. “Got it.” Chan muttered, nodding slowly as Ten mentioned not wanting to talk about his sister, wrinkling his nose immediately when his roommate went to pinch his cheek like it was putty. He laughed, rubbing his cheek gently before facing Ten as he sat at the kitchen island. “Man, that’s really cool of you, Ten. Is…” Chan hesitated before speaking, but decided since they were on the topic, he’d ask out of curiosity. “Is the pay good? I’ve never been at any type of strip club, so.”

@✽ chan l. "i have a little sister, but we don't need to talk about that." ten made a face and pinched chan's cheek before moving away to sit at the kitchen island to eat his own food, glaring at louis when he jumped up onto the counter to join him. "no baby, you don't eat human food!" he pouted and cut a piece of chicken with his spoon before taking a bite, looking at chan with sparkling eyes. "performing is my passion, and i guess i have more freedom as a stripper than anything."

@✽ ten l. “That’s really cool. I guess I like being behind the scenes and seeing my hard work come to fruition and stuff!” He watched Ten in silence, his cleaning of his dish already finished and it was on the drying rack. Chan’s eyes widened as Ten moved closer, a little too close, and his back nearly hit the kitchen island and he very nearly slipped. “Oh.” was all he could say, especially after Ten kissed his cheek. He’d normally be flustered, but he felt normal since Ten already mentioned he wasn’t his type. Nothing to worry about. But man, did he really look that heteroual? “Little brother? You never had siblings? Honestly thought you had a few siblings or something.”

"i like being a performer, honestly." ten nodded a few times and turned off the stove once his food was done, and he got out a large bowl before pouring it all in so he could enjoy it happily. he ran a hand through his hair and leaned down to pat both leon and louis on the head before standing up straight, walking over to chan and getting into his personal space on purpose. "believe me channie, as a very flamboyantly gay man who works in a strip club where everybody i'm surrounded by is just as gay as me unless they're a woman, i can tell immediately." he dropped a kiss to chan's cheek before ruffling his hair, carefully puting his pan in the sink and filling it up with water. "you're like the little brother i've never had, so let me dote on you a little bit."

@✽ ten l. “You… you won on a televised competition? Wow, that’s wild Ten! The most I’ve done was choreograph for some idol groups, but I was never the focus on the stage itself.” He replied, finally finishing his ramen and the soup, tipping the liquid into his mouth before moving to the nearby sink to clean the bowl and utensils. Chan glanced at his feet, seeing the two cats run right past him to Ten’s legs, chuckling. “Sorry guys, Haeng loves birds.” he comforted the cats who were probably a bit shocked by their former fur pillow now barking like a mad dog. “I.” He couldn’t form proper words at first and then he just blurted out his first thought. “Wow, you could tell I’m straight?” Anyone could tell Chan was straight, they just needed eyes and a chance to speak with him.

"well i did win a televised competition so i was a bit of a celebrity." ten casually spoke as he made sure the chicken was cooked, pouring some rice into the sauce so it would all mix together with a small smile playing on his lips. he laughed in pleasant surprise when chan jumped at haenguni barking, and he clicked his tongue as both of the cats came running into the kitchen. "it's okay babies, haenguni just got excited it's okay. my type is definitely not straight men, channie, i just like flirting with you because you're cute and always get so embarrassed."

@✽ ten l. He continued with eating his ramen, blowing once in a while. “How different?” he asked, genuinely curious as he watched Ten continue cooking, taking long enough until he was half down with his noodle bowl. His coughing ended quickly and Chan felt safer and more stable. He breathed out a subtle sigh of relief, rubbing his nape and chuckling. “O-oh… okay, that’s great then! Thought this would get awkward and , but we’re good!” Chan nearly jumped out of his skin when he heard Haenguni suddenly start barking and he turned his head, seeing a bird near the window. “Ah, Haenguni. It’s a bird…” His dog always got so excited with birds, but he was rather calm around other animals, cats included.

"the dance industry is different in thailand though." ten hummed quietly and cracked an egg in the pan as all of it cooked together, and he was glad he still had a container of leftover rice as he started to spice what he was making in the pan. he looked over at chan and smirked slightly before turning back to his food as it was being cooked, knowing full well that the other was straight and still enjoying flirting with him. "relax baby, you're not my type anyway, you don't have to worry about trying to reject me or anything."

@✽ ten l. Chan hissed, carrying the piping hot bowl of ramen over to the kitchen island, careful not to spill it as he tasted the now-creamy soup. “We totally should, yeah yeah! I mean… I’m not really surprised? Knowing what classes you do teach, Ten.” Chan leaned on the kitchen counter, stirring his soup and occasionally putting noodles into his mouth to chew. With noodles warm in his cheeks, he started to choke at Ten’s response to his ‘biting’ thing, coughing into his fist before suddenly swallowing, the heat going through his nostrils as it was so sudden. Okay, that moment he was quite flustered, even at the ‘pretty boy’ compliment that was a slight boost to his ego. “I-I. Maybe s-someday, no promises…” He didn’t know how to turn Ten down, as he was clearly into guys but Chan couldn’t even remember if he confirmed to Ten that he was as straight as a wooden ruler.

"that's fair. we should do some choreography together, maybe. it could be fun! i'm a trained dancer, believe it or not, just needed a break after moving here which is why i'm not doing anything crazy." ten nodded a few times and put the chicken in the pot before cutting up a few green onions to go with it, humming under his breath with a small smile on his lips. "oh, you like to bite? how curious, so do it. just don't bite me or it's on, pretty boy."

@✽ ten l. The right side of Chan’s lip lifted slightly as he listened to Ten speak, mostly about the class and how it was less technical and taking yourself seriously. The mention of pretty ladies wanting his number did pique his interest. “Hm, you got me with the ladies, but I’ll think about it? I still do have my own dance style, I don’t wanna overshadow anyone in that class, you know?” His ramen was nearly done, just one minute left to cook, so he poured in the cream, cheese and onions. He also broke the egg into the boiling water so it would cook how he liked it. Chan caught sight of Ten cutting up some things for his food and he moved slightly, his ramen now finished and transferring it to a bowl. “I’ll try not to—” His roommate’s mention of biting made him let out his hearty loud laugh. “Don’t know if I am, but I’d prefer to be the one doing the biting? Probably?” This was him being honest of course.

@✽ chan l. ten stood up and went to the fridge, pulling out a few things for himself and doing the same at the pantry before standing on the other side of the stove, looking at chan with a fond smile. "it's a lot of not taking yourself too seriously in those classes, you know? plus, i tend to have mostly women taking them which means you'd be surrounded by pretty ladies trying to get your number, yeah?" he grabbed a pan to make himself some spicy chicken and kimchi fried rice, humming to himself as he cut up the pieces of chicken to cook first. "you don't have to walk on eggshells around me channie, i don't bite. unless you're into that, of course."

@✽ ten l. Chan gritted his teeth, sensing that the water as boiling as he spoke. “Confident in my body, I can do, probably. Sensual? I don’t know about that…” He picked up the ramen noodles, putting the hardened piece into the boiling water, as well as the meat, vegetables and soup packet. “Oh? I actually have this one not so spicy. I’ve got cream and egg and cheese and onions to cancel out the spice. It’s hard to work on designs when my throat is burning, so.” He replied, nodding as he leaned on the kitchen counter, watching the boiling ramen on the side as he put the 4-minute timer on his phone. At Ten’s words, he glanced at him. “I mean. We can be friends? We’re just… new to eachother but.” Chan looked at the resting pets, laughing and grinning. “It seems like our pets have known eachother for years now, so we might as well follow suit.”

@✽ chan l. "oh, today was burlesque actually, one of my favourite classes to teach. it's not nearly as much upper body strength and core strength but more focused on being sensual and confident in your body." ten smiled at chan's words and watching him carefully, tilting his head to the side once he was asked the question. "ah, do you make your ramen spicy? i might have to pass only to make something else, but i think it would be nice to eat dinner together more often. i don't like tiptoeing around the house, i want us to be friends! especially since my cats have now adopted your dog as their own."

@✽ ten l. He started boiling some hot water, before quietly going around the kitchen, grabbing other things he wanted to put in his ramen while the water heated up. Chan flashed his signature smile at Ten once his roommate mentioned to drop the awkward bowing between them. “Sorry, force of habit between us I guess? Also… pole dancing classes right?” He spoke, ripping open the ramen packet and cutting up some sausages for his dish. “I can handle most types of dance but I don’t think my core and body could handle pole dancing. At least I don’t think so…” he commented, glancing at the cats who had suddenly decided to use his big fluffy dog as their bed now, causing him to snort and smile. “Want some ramen? I’m putting sausages and green onions, and of course an egg.”

@✽ chan l. ten smiled when chan bowed at him and ran a hand through his hair, moving to sit at the kitchen island and watching him quietly. "yeah, just had some classes today. i'm not working at the club until it's the weekend." he turned and took a few pictures of his cats on top of haenguni before looking at chan with a heavy sigh escaping his lips, rubbing at his eyes slowly. "you don't have to bow with me anymore, we live together chan-ah."

@✽ ten l. Chan had been locked up in his room for a few hours, pouring over some designs for clients that were due in a few days. He hasn’t been eating much aside from ramen and soda, which is very unlike him as he normally ate quite healthy. He even felt a bit bad for Haenguni, he hadn't been playing with him much and the golden retriever almost resorted to his roommate Ten’s two cats. His stomach grumbled in the darkness, his face lit by his one lamp, so he stood up, planning to head to the kitchen for his usual ramen and egg snack. He passed the living room, grinning and see all the pets of the house hanging out. He reached the kitchen and spotted Ten, feeling slight awkwardness but bowing anyway. His hand reached for the pack of ramen in the pantry before he went over to get the pot for some boiling water. “Back from, uh, work?” he spoke, attempting some small talk.

@✽ chan l. ten ran a hand through his hair as he stepped into the house, locking the front door behind him and toeing off his shoes. he put on his slippers and trudged into the kitchen before pausing in the living room, seeing louis and leon curled up with haenguni on the rug. "you two are such softies for this pup, hmm?" he mumbled softly, going over to give each one of them a gentle pet on the head.
