Black Market

Buyer Beware: The Black Market of Central Isle

In South of Central Isle lies the Blacklight District, a shadowy underworld where anything and everything is for sale—if you have the courage, coin, and wits to navigate it. But trust no one, for not all sellers are honest, and alliances are as fleeting as the mists that shroud this land.

  • Kang Daniel runs the agricultural narcotics trade, dealing in substances both exotic and illicit.
  • Kim Hyojong, a kitsune enslaved by fate, peddles rare, magical beasts.
  • Choi Sora, a werewolf bound in servitude, uncovers forgotten relics of lost empires.
  • Kyo, a master ghoul, offers meats of unsettling origins.
  • Dong Youngbae, a freeman werewolf mercenary, stands ready to offer muscle for the right price.

In the Black Market, no transaction is without risk. Deals are made on the edge of a knife, and allies may quickly turn into enemies. Trust your instincts—or suffer the consequences. The market is constantly shifting, and in a world as fractured as Heleo, betrayal can come from anywhere.

@❇︎ Xiao Kein Wooseok accepted the rags and oil, giving a slight shake of his head. “I’ll do it.” he assured her, despite it being his first time performing such maintenance in years. “Understood.” Noting her apparent preference for cleanliness, he made a mental note to keep himself as tidy as possible both out of courtesy and to avoid causing her any discomfort. Taking the towel she offered, he gave her a brief nod of gratitude before turning away to tend to himself.

Uncertain of where to begin, he reasoned that lubricating his joints was the most logical first step. He applied oil to the rusted areas, ensuring smooth movement before moving on to wipe down his metallic surface with a damp towel. He worked efficiently, removing the layers of dust and grime that had accumulated over time. Once satisfied with his efforts, he neatly set aside the used supplies and turned back to her. “I believe I’m ready.” he said, giving himself a quick once over to ensure he hadn’t missed any spots. He then glanced up at her, wondering if his efforts were sufficient, or if they met her standards of cleanliness. He had done his best, but he couldn’t help but feel a tinge of doubt about whether it was enough for her.

@〄 Byun Wooseok ¥✔ To the fae. Having someone in debt to her so quickly after a first meeting was a coin in a jackpot. It was far too easy to be her nice self and allow the other to warm up to her before making a move. There were so much she could do but as the other was a cyborg. Xiao was still weary on the boy’s very own programming.

“All right.” She says grabbing some rags from inside the bunker. Her hand sweeping to find a clean blanket as well as some oil that was just inside different barrels. She never knew it would be so vital to store even a dozen or so gallons of it. Besides for her vehicle she saw no use. But still she was able to get some for the man next to her. “Take these.” She states handing the man the rags. “Or would you want me to do it for you?” She questions tilting her head slightly.

“I just want to get you all freshened up. We have another two destination and locations to head too. Being so dusty doesn’t suit me well for me.” She complains using another towel and gently taps the boy’s face. Helping him in the meantime.

@❇︎ Xiao Kein Wooseok knew better than to trust anyone so quickly, yet he found himself with no other choice. His memories were still a fragmented haze, leaving him adrift with no sense of direction or purpose. Right now, Xiao was the only person he had, and whether or not he should trust her didn’t seem to matter.

He nodded silently as Xiao explained their destination, his systems still acclimating to the unfamiliar surroundings. His optics flickered as they scanned the road ahead, every detail processed and stored in an effort to make sense of this new reality. When she mentioned getting cleaned up, Wooseok hesitated, glancing at himself. He could see the grime coating his frame, remnants of oil, dust, and debris clinging stubbornly to him. “Just some rags and oil…” he murmured, his voice trailing off, unsure of how to even begin the process. He had no clear idea of what he needed.

As Xiao stepped out of the vehicle, Wooseok followed suit, his reflection in the side mirror catching his attention. He frowned slightly, noting the dull sheen of his metal frame and the scuffed surfaces that told of his disuse. He couldn’t deny he needed a thorough cleaning. He glanced at Xiao, unsure of what to expect next but willing to follow her lead for now.

@〄 Byun Wooseok ¥✔ Clearly there was some sort of communication different between them. Xiao was not one to talk about her own opinions, but rather let her action do the talking. Deciding to ignore his little mutter. It was best not to talk about it. It made things even more interesting, knowing she could easily make someone’s brain twist and twirl to a ball of mush. Some not as easy, others but all the more amusing.

Easily one to trust? She questions herself. She could not help but chuckle at the very thought of slowly unrevealing her true colours, ever so slightly. “I’m glad I can get you to trust me. Wooseok. It’s a nice feeling.” She says, smiling through her teeth as she lets the engine roar and closes the door. Putting her foot on the gas while leading them away from the scene.

“Just an old settlement. It’s not too far from where we were just now.” Xiao responded as she pulls up to the side and parking it straight. “I’ve got a shower and some clothes you can borrow from my men. Do you need any help getting cleaned?” She questioned as she gets out of the vehicle. Her eyes turning to the cyborg.

@❇︎ Xiao Kein "What do I think?" Wooseok muttered softly, his gaze settling on the female as though trying to decipher her intentions, even though he lacked the ability to truly read her. Her demeanor puzzled him for her actions earlier hinted at someone who could find amusement in chaos, yet now, her tone and gestures were unexpectedly calm and even kind. It was a stark contrast to the harsh treatment he'd endured from the mercenaries who had captured him.

Silently, he stepped into the car, his optics flickering slightly as they scanned the vehicle's interior. It was unfamiliar and modest, faintly recalling a smilier and older model from his fragmented memories. Her words broke through his silent observation, pulling his focus back to her. Wooseok nodded. "I have nowhere else to go, and you haven't given me a reason to distrust you." he admitted plainly. Her actions thus far had been neither cruel nor condescending and so he couldn't really say or conclude anything about her, for now.

As the car started, he turned his gaze to the window, his expression distant as though lost in thought. Yet behind the facade, his systems were whirring quietly, loading data and running background processes. Programs he didn’t recognize flickered to life in the corners of his mind, an unsettling reminder of the fragments he still didn’t understand. "Where are we going?" He asked, his gaze then shifting to her.

@〄 Byun Wooseok ¥ “Wooseok.” Xiao says under her breath. Taking his name into her brain as she got to the car. The vehicle wasn’t one expensive kit. It was something a lot more affordable due to her basics taste in machinery.

“That depends on what you think handsome.” She chuckles. That question really caught her off guard. To be questioned if she was nice? Something tells her she was going to have some fun understanding and piecing together him all together. “Come get in.” She says opening the door for the cyborg before going to her own seat and buckling her own seat belt.

“That is if you trust me enough.” Being someone who preferred to go without saying much. Xiao really wasn’t the type to really entertaining others freedom of choice. It was for this the reason why she didn’t give anyone any other option. It was either trust her or get left behind.

@❦ Kim Hyo-jong ¥✔ The alley stank of mixed scent of creatures and desperation, a scent that I, even in my human form, finds strangely comforting. I'd spent enough time in places like this to find the familiar grime a strange kind of home.

Tonight, I meant business- looking to sell the black pearl I obtained from my travels. I adjusted the collar of his worn robe, the wool itchy against the skin still prickling from the last moon cycle. I learned to live with the beast inside, but the transformation never felt good.

The voice of the man caught my attention. I turned to see a man, unfamiliar to me. "Excuse me?" I asked, cocking a brow upon smelling desperation as I could clearly sense that you are somehow scared. The loud thump of your heart roaring in my ears. My werewolf abilities returned since the last Blood Moon Festival. "Not quite. Something more" I thought as shifted my attention towards the Batcoon. "What exactly is it?"I asked, apprehensive with arms folded across my chest.

@☾ Dong Youngbae The air in the Blacklight District reeked of danger, thick with the haze of unspoken promises. The streets buzzed with shady transactions, the clinking of coins and the rustling of cloaks blending into a distant symphony of deceit. I leaned against a rusted pillar, the shadows around me shifting as the mists curled like silent whispers.
I watched him, the lone wolf, tall and steady—a mercenary with the cold eyes of a man who’d seen too much, too soon. Youngbae. My last hope.
"Got something you might like," I said, my voice smooth, careful, and deliberately lacking in urgency. The Batcoon shifted in its cage, a soft growl escaping its throat. It was a beauty, a creature of legend, just as rare as my desperation.
The sweat on my palms was barely concealed by the gentle tilt of my head. My insides churned. I needed this deal—no other choice left. Not now. Not after everything I’ve lost. My sister... my family... all slipping further away with every tick of the clock. I fought to keep the cool smirk on my lips, the flirtatious air intact, but my heart thudded in my chest, a stark contrast to the mask I wore.
"Not just any companion," I replied, letting the mischievous glint in my eyes dance with the shadows. "Something rare. Something... valuable."
I fought the surge of panic threatening to claw its way to the surface. In truth, this was my last resort—selling stolen goods just to keep my head above water, and yet, I couldn’t shake the gnawing feeling that I was losing myself in the process. That baby Batcoon might be my salvation... or my undoing.

@❇︎ Xiao Kein Wooseok tilted his head slightly, curiosity sparking in his optics as he observed the woman before him. Her gentle demeanor was a stark contrast to the way she had handled the earlier situation, and it left him both intrigued and uncertain. "I'm Wooseok." he said yet faintly hesitant. His optics flickered briefly, as though his system was verifying the validity of his own words. "I think..." he added quietly, still unsure but willing to trust the name felt right.

Her touch caught him off guard as she brushed the dirt from his cheek, the simple gesture foreign to him. He had grown accustomed to rough treatment, harsh words and blows were all he had known since he came to. Yet here she was, showing a strange gentleness he couldn't fully comprehend.

Without much thought, he followed her lead, accepting her declaration of temporary ownership. He walked beside her in silence for a few moments, studying her every move as if trying to piece together the enigma she presented. Finally, as they neared the vehicle, he broke the silence with a question that had been lingering in his mind. "Are you... nice?" he asked, his voice tinged with genuine wonder, as though the concept itself was something he struggled to understand.

@〄 Byun Wooseok ¥ Truthfully, Xiao wondered if there was anyone who would have not turned away after such a massacre? She was glad that the man ran from the place alongside the two briefcases which held some money. But honestly, she was a bit dissatisfied with how this whole situation ran around. The girl wanted a bit more blood to be spilt. Yet, here she was standing next to an abandoned machine. Well abandoned shouldn’t be the word to be used but at last. “They really couldn’t pick a worse place, could they?”

With a deep sigh coming from her voice. Xiao nods her head. She was indeed the machine’s ‘master’ or so it seemed. “You’re adorable.” She chuckles hearing him call her by the title. “My name is Xiao Kein. And you are?” She questions as her eyes runs over his cyborg’s body. “Did they hurt you while you were being transported?” She questions taking some of the dirt from his cheeks, brushing it away gently.

“We should get you cleaned up. My car isn’t too far away.” She states, holding her hand out to take his and gently guiding him towards the vehicle. “I’m not one to really care who you belong too. But let’s say I am your master. At least for the time being.”

@❇︎ Xiao Kein Wooseok turned his head toward the direction of the voice, his optics adjusting to the dim lighting of the tunnel as he peered past the mercenary leader standing in front of him. The figure of a woman emerged from the shadows, her commanding presence striking despite the calm yet menacing edge to her tone. Despite the weight of her words, Wooseok didn’t perceive her as a direct threat, figuring that if she had intended harm, she would have already acted like the mercenaries from earlier.

His gaze briefly shifted to the briefcases of money thrown onto the ground. The mercenary leader’s shoulders visibly relaxed, his lips curving into a nervous smile as he realized the woman’s intent. Relieved by the simplicity of the deal, he nodded quickly, eager to escape the situation while still alive. “All yours, Madame.” he replied, picking up the briefcases without hesitation. After losing most of his men, the last thing he wanted was to lose his life as well. Besides, the payment was more than enough compensation for relinquishing the troublesome cyborg. With a quick gesture to his remaining crew, the leader retreated, his team following suit in a hurried scurry.

Now left alone with the woman, Wooseok turned his attention fully to her, his glowing optics studying her with silent curiosity. He didn’t resist as her hand reached out to pet his head, her touch gentle yet possessive, as if he were some delicate and rare treasure. Her words lingered in his mind, and after a moment of stillness, he finally spoke. “Are you my master now?” he asked, tilting his head slightly. He had overheard the mercenaries discussing his fate, calling him a “slave” since his awakening. With the mercenaries gone and this woman asserting her claim over him, he assumed she was now the next authoritative figure he was meant to follow.

After all, he had no purpose, no destination, and no knowledge of what he was meant to do. For now, he could only wait and see where she intended to lead him.

@〄 Byun Wooseok ¥ Capturing people and using situations for her own advantage had been a game for Xiao. She has always been one to calculate where people were going, only to exploit another potential plan. Never one to play with the rules. Xiao Kein was a sadist at heart. Her desires were twisted and very much one sided. But she had always been like that. Craving the power of one’s very own desires and to push her very limits to get another toy added to her chambers. It was for this reason she had set the trap up. She was eyeing a cargo that her informants had given her information on. But outsmarting another potential danger was always dangerous. This was why she had been on the lookout for the best possible chance to exploit. This was it.

It was so easy to lure them into a place of no man’s land. The cargo was in sight, but the target she had been creeping slower and slower to where she desired. Watching the bloodshed from where she stood. Xiao Kein couldn’t help but laugh at the bloodshed across the very field. It was going to take a few days to clean up the mess. But that was not her concern. Oh, no. That was someone’s else’s job. Her goal today was to ensure she finds some fun inside the place. Starting with what was in front of her.

Taking a gun from her hoist. She sighs heavily, looking at the pitiable sight in front of her. “He’s mine and I want you to make sure that’s right.” She spoke out loud. Her heels clicking against the ground as she runs her fingers against the metal next to her. “Or do you want bloodshed?” She questioned before throwing what seems to be two briefcases of money. “Your squad is dismantled. You have nothing. Do yourself a favour and leave this place before I put a bullet between your head.” She orders before latching her hand against the item that she had been looking for.

“You’re mine and I want you.” She says, running her hand against the cyborg’s head and petting him gently. “I’ve been searching for you for a long time."

@❇︎ Xiao Kein The heavy clang of steel boots echoed through the damp, dimly lit corridors of Central’s infamous black market. In one of the holding cells, Wooseok sat motionless in a crude cage, his mechanical frame restrained with fraying ropes. His optics, dim and unfocused, reflected the faint flicker of overhead lights, their blue hue dull from his dazed state. A thin trickle of oil ran from a dent on his temple, evidence of the mercenaries' rough handling.

The cage door creaked open, and the leader of the mercenaries stepped in, his grin sharp and predatory. "Alright, you antique pile of bolts, time to earn us our payday." He motioned to his men, who yanked Wooseok out of the cage and forcing him onto his knees. A boot pressed down firmly against the back of his head, pinning him to the ground. “This thing is going to fetch us a good price.” the leader sneered. His cronies chuckled darkly, tossing insults and jeers at Wooseok. Though the cyborg’s programming ensured he wouldn’t retaliate against humans, their treatment was slowly wearing down his already fragile state. His sensors flagged the abuse as non critical, yet his archaic materials could only endure so much before something irreparable can happen.

The mercenaries dragged him forward to the exchange point. The leader smirking as he visualized the piles of coin that awaited them. However, their plans were abruptly shattered by the sharp crack of gunfire. Shots rang out, echoing through the corridors as rival mercenaries stormed the scene. Chaos erupted as bullets tore through the air, striking two of Wooseok’s captors. The leader cursed loudly, diving for cover as his men scrambled to return fire. Amid the pandemonium, Wooseok’s system surged into protective mode, an instinctual reaction deeply rooted in his programming. Despite the chaos and his lack of understanding why, he acted. With a powerful lunge, he slammed into the leader, sending the man sprawling to the ground. His restrained hands snapped the flimsy ropes as though they were thread, and his optics glowed fiercely, flickering between blue and red.

As Wooseok moved, his archaic systems screamed warnings but he ignored them. He didn’t know why he felt compelled to protect those around him, even those who had mistreated him. Whatever the reason, he stood his ground, a lone force amidst the chaos, shielding those who moments ago had treated him as little more than scrap. Wooseok moved with precision and efficiency, neutralizing the threats. Even in his less than optimal condition, his mechanical enhancements made him a formidable force. His actions were fluid and deliberate, disarming weapons with ease and incapacitating the attackers with calculated strikes. His movement was designed to subdue without causing unnecessary harm. And in a matter of moments, the corridors fell silent. Wooseok stood over one of the mercenaries he had just put down, his hand gripping the barrel of a gun. With a faint creak of metal, he crushed it into a flat sheet as if it were nothing more than clay. Slowly, his optics shifted back to their soft blue glow as he turned to face the mercenary leader, who stood frozen, visibly shaken by the sudden turn of events. Despite his success, Wooseok had taken noticeable damage. Several bullets had grazed his frame, leaving scratches and minor dents, but nothing critical. Without a word, he approached the leader snd upon reaching him, Wooseok clasped his hands in front of him, a silent yet oddly disarming gesture, as if to say they could continue their transaction as if nothing had happened.

Unbeknownst to them, in the shadows of the distant corridors, a figure watched intently. Their gaze lingered on Wooseok, fascination evident in their calculated stillness. They were someone with the means and the interest to pay a steep price for something or someone as extraordinary as the ancient cyborg.

@♅ Shin ¥ Christopher held up one hand, motioning him to be still for another brief moment. There was a second card that was itching to be pulled, the reading wasn't quite done yet. The mage reached for the deck and chose the one at the top, flipping it over to reveal another piece of fascinating artwork. Yet he couldn't help but chuckle at what was presented to him. The Fool. Swiftly, and in one singular movement, Christopher uses his grip on the man's hand to twist his arm painfully and hold in a vice grip. Calmly, he reaches for his drink that had been set to the side and takes a slow sip.

'You can stop wasting my time, for starters,' Christopher suggested plainly, eyeing him over the rim of the mug. 'How naive of you, to think you could fool me like this. It's a great little act, but I have little patience today so while I'm asking nicely--' he lets go of the man's arm and shoves him back into the chair, eyes sharp as they bore into him. '--tell me what the brought you into my stall before I let the Shadowpeople drag you out.' Christopher begins gathering the cards up, knowing that this was a pointless session with no real reason behind it. He stands from the table, chair scraping along the floor, and moves to put the deck box on the shelf of a nearby cupboard before turning around to lean up against it, arms folded. 'Well? I don't have all night.'

@♦ Christopher Bang Shin shivered as the other opened the card. He was fixated on it not moving he listened carefully. Seven of Cups, truly an unfitting card for both himself and for his character not even if both are considered together. It was a reach. But that didn’t mean the other didn’t have powers it just meant that it would be a lot more fun to play with this one. What would be the best next move? He wondered. Should he keep up the act or should he see what the other would do with his real person? After a moment he decided to just go along with the man.

The touch made him shiver once more his eyes dared up looking at the fortune teller. “You mean I can find what I’m looking for?” He asked grasping the other’s hand in his. “Are you sure?” I have been travelling far and wide and not once found anyone who could give me hope.” His eyes filled with helpless relief and he even managed to spill a few tears as he looked at the card in front of him. “What do I need to do? @♅ Shin ¥ ( you're fine!! no need to apologize )

Christopher gives pause at name that was given. Now he wasn't dumb... he knew Remiel wasn't the man's real name, but it clearly had some meaning to him. The fortune teller knew little of gods and things of the like, however, he grew up on stories of Remiel so it's not like it wasn't unfamiliar. It was just... strange. It was the last thing Christopher ever expected him to say and he couldn't help but study the other man for a moment, looking either thoughtful or if he was contemplating something. Mismatched eyes narrowed slowly before he flips the card over with a low hum, glancing down to see what was presented to him.

'The Seven of Cups... Interesting.' Christopher's fingertip taps the illustrated image on the card once before he leans back in his chair with a sigh. The image depicted had a woman levitating over seven cups with her head shrouded by clouds, and in clouds were shapes that looked like a castle and looked like two people embracing. 'Wishful thinking and fantasy... Lost in a reality you don't accept, fantasizing about a different one and losing yourself in that made-up world... Avoiding the truth can benefit us to a degree, however, we have to come back to reality some time but it's almost like /you/ don't want to.' Christopher glanced up, noticing the hand that hovered mid-air. He tilts his head, eyeing it for a moment before tentatively reaching out to slowly brush their hands together. 'It's not that you can't find it, it's that it is right there, you're just avoiding to look at it.'

@♦ Christopher Bang (So sorry it took me forever to reply I was somewhere else with my mind sorry)

Shin smiled softly watching the other without replying until he was asked a third time. “Remiel,” He said quietly using the name of the angel humans were considered the most loved. The angel of hope and the name was given to those with heavy faith in their life. It was given to humans as a name of quest and burden since Remiel would only lead those faithful to god to heaven so those humans' audacity to assume that name was stricken by grievous moments in life forced them to wander their whole life testing their faith and their remorse. It was a name haunted by grief and pain.

Shin lowered his head once admitting his name to the fortune teller the weight of the name and his faith weighing on him as he let out a soft breath of air. Shin was aware of the implications of the name, but his mind was filled with the fear and worry why him. Since the human persona he was portraying was not aware and he was able to portray it well he had seen the same heavy helpless question of why me in many who had given up on their faith and had faced the choice of their name. “Please help me find what I’m searching for.” Shin lifted his head his eyes filled with hopelessness not daring to hope even with what was said. “I have lost what is dearest to me. Please help me find it.” He carefully reached out a shaky hand but didn’t fully reach for the fortune teller. Instead, it was hanging halfway in midair a little lost.

@♅ Shin ¥ ( worries nonetheless )

His fingers moved along the tarot deck intricately, giving them a feel without looking at them just yet, wanting to get a sense of which direction he was being pulled. Gazing at the stranger before him as his abilities got to work, swirling to life in his mismatched eyes in the form of faint gold swirls. Christopher could see in the man's mind now. He could hear every whisper of every thought as though they were being spoken into his ear. Voices all around them but only for him to hear, flowing out of the man's mind and into his. A low, throaty hum fills the void and he leans back in his chair leisurely, taking on a less rough demeanor because it looked like this poor man was about to his pants right there in the chair. 'Tell me your name,' he requests, hands now moving to begin shuffling the deck thoroughly as a few candles around the room lit up without warning, filling the room with a delicate scent of various herbs specifically mixed together to help fruit an interaction like this. The calming aromas were said to help ease the mind and soul, not only helping the other relax but also helping Christopher do his job into figuring out what's going on here.

'Tell me your name,' the mage's voice is husky, quieter this time as well -- almost like it was him that was whispering in the man's ear now. His eyes had lowered down to the cards that were being spread out amongst the table before them diligently. 'You have a reason for being here, you have something you are looking for. Something you want to be found... I might know where it is.' His gaze raises and meets the pair from across the table, setting a final card down but not quite removing his fingers. Depending on what the other was going to say, he would flip the cards over to reveal his fortune. 'So what is your name?'

Shin startled when he heard the voice in his head lowering his eyes, he nodded stepping closer to sit down. “What I really want?” He asked hopeful and worried his eyes speaking of questions and hope in a hopeless quest. His mind was turning around the words of the fortune teller his thoughts filled with a strange feeling of I want to hope but I don’t want to hurt again. If this man knew what he was looking for maybe he could get the answer he was searching. Maybe his long journey was finally going to be over.

Sitting down he carefully folded his hands in his lap looking around his eyes darting to the man but mostly searching for something to fixate on without looking rude and without having to face the man directly. He was familiar with what he was pretraining no chink in his persona no hidden opening not even his thoughts were giving him away. @♅ Shin ¥ ( this is the length that my brain can handle atm i apologize ojdsosjd )

Christopher stares at the man before him. A stranger. He has never been in his shop before, nor around the Black Market area it seemed. Or- maybe he has, and maybe they ended up never crossing paths until now. There was something about the man that made him not want to look away, though. Was it the way he carried himself upon sauntering in like he owned the damn place? Or was it the look in his eye, and whatever intention there was behind it? Christopher was curious. Morbidly so. What did this man want? He definitely did not seem like the person to wander into a fortune telling booth thinking it'll be all bells and whistles. Of course, given his other "little job", it is quite comical to see him sitting there with a deck of tarot cards in his hands. The assassin deserved no wisdom. The cards only spoke the truth, calling someone out in a ways they probably wouldn't even consider until it would happen. These cards make one think deeply about oneself and for Christopher, that's all he ever does.

'You must think I'm a fool,' the mage responds telepathically, as calm and cool and crisp as ever. He gazes at the man, piercing gaze never faltering even though his mismatched eyes glistened so beautifully in the dim lights above. The chair creaks as Christopher leans forward slowly, elbows on the table and ring-adorned hand gesturing to the empty chair sitting across from him all the while never looking away. 'Do you need me to show you to use your big boy words now or do you want to tell me what you /actually/ came here for?'

@♦ Christopher Bang [SH] Shin smiled gleefully tossing a small bag of coins in his hand. He got paid well for this job and was out and about to find something to spend this money on. After all, what came in had to go out. It wasn’t healthy to hold stuff in and fight against the natural order of things. Once money was made it was meant to be spent on luxury and indulgence. Not to forget the simple pleasure of life even god allowed such as food and drink. Or more like the simple pleasure even humans accepted as allowed by god. What the ruler of heaven was really thinking nobody knew after all religion was what you made of it not what god spoke. Not anymore. Not since god left heaven empty. Shaking his head to get those dark thoughts out of there Shin looked around wondering what he would spend his money on today.

Soon he spotted a small little stall. “Fortune telling?” He asked himself the gleeful smile returning. After all, what was fortune telling but hedonistic beliefs and he was an angel of god. Stashing away the coin bag he got in line for a reading. Over the years he had soon learned that no matter how small or big the fortune teller was if they knew how to trick people, they would always have a small line of people waiting for their advice. Not too long after Shin was about to take a seat across the fortune teller. The man wasn’t what he expected but also not what he didn’t expect. He placed the coin purse on the stall and looked up at the fortune teller across from him.

For all intense and purposes right now due to his banishment and punishment Shi appeared human he did have a slight magical aura but not strong enough for anyone to see him as anything other than human when they first meet him. And he was leaning into that playing the part of a human wandering the realms and ending up here looking for advice and a peak into his future. “I think you can already tell why I have found you today?” He asked the fortune teller fidgeting his hands a little looking around slightly worried and unsure of what to do. “I’m seeking something and I wish your wisdom on this matter.” He continued finally focusing his eyes on the fortune teller waiting for the man to respond to see what he could and couldn’t do. His body language was without a doubt that of a man on a long journey against his own choosing searching for something or someone very dear and important to him. He had seen people like this many times and it was easy to adapt their way of holding themselves and their way of thinking. His mind silently darted around filled with fear and hope as if this was his last straw before there was no one else to turn to. After all who knows maybe there was a little bit of mind-reading magic in this fortune teller so even his mind was lying perfectly.

I stay tight to the confines of the shadows. My hand tugs on the hood of my cloak coating my facial features into shadow. I make my way down the dimly light cobblestone of the Black Market. My head pivoted from left to right to ensure I wasn't being followed. My hand clung to the handle of the large wooden wagon trailing behind me. The cages clanked and thudded against the uneven road causing me to turn over my shoulder occasionally. I politely apologize to the critters underneath the tarp that concealed them. Chirps, barks, hiss, and some noise better left a mysterious trail behind me until I finally found a place to set up shop. I turn to the cart of creatures exhaling a long breath.
My stomach forms a knot strung along with the unlining guilt. After minutes of somehow managing to convince myself I was doing the right thing, I was able to get my together. I had to do what must be done. I needed the money, and by any means necessary, I was going to get it, even if that meant stealing some of the creatures from Deus Draco Academy. Not to mention a few from the lowlands of Kirin's Peak & a handful from Lioncourt De Sovereign's. "Wild Exotics, come get your wild Exotics. Feast your eyes on Kirin's Peak's rarest and finest creatures."

@† Lee Soohyuk /Jeremy just wish the man behind him start already but he said nothing as he continues to place his face on his arms. He could felt that whoever that was behind him have quite a package being pressed against his bare bottom. Shudder ran through his body as his manhood and was played with but barely any sound came out of him. He moved slightly though so it doesn't ruin the mood for the person behind him./

@❦ Jeremy Xu /seeing him expose his himself he accepted his invitation and pressed against him. He had one hand move up and played with my and the other stroking the man’s already hard /

@† Lee Soohyuk /the wait was long before someone came over to him. The smack announce the man present make him jump in surprise but he didn't move to look back. Instead he reach back and pull his robe aside and expose his bare bottom as an answer./

@❦ Jeremy Xu /Soohyuk was walking by when he stopped and walked back after noticing a bent over body over a small bed. It had been a while since he had gotten any action and the way he was perked up only made him harder. Maybe it was time for him to have some fun in public. He walked up to the other male and smacked his bum just hard enough to get his attention/

I still remember joining RPR 6 years ago and seeing this. Can’t believe it’s still ongoing to this day. All of you did a great job in maintaining the RP’s lifespan \^^/ Happy 6 years, yall!

I’ve contemplated and decided: May I have Lee Taeyong as a cyborg, please?

In Effect as of 01/24/25

We appreciate your application to the Ivory of the Mist community.

Until further notice, we are currently not accepting any more Demons, Wolves, Humans/mage, Hybrids, Kitsune, Vampire, or Shapeshifters due to the imbalance of races. We are currently seeking Angels, Dragons, Ghouls, Merfolk, Fairies, and Cyborgs. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Once the population in the 13 Kingdoms is balanced, we encourage you to reapply for your desired race.

Kind regards, Prince Hendery
