@✧˚ c. seungcheol Saerom’s smile slowly grew, as she caught his mumbled words, her heart skipping. 「He worries about me too,」she thought, ignoring the quiet, doubtful voice in the back of her mind.

“See? You do care, Cheollie,” she teased, voice light and playful as she watched him bite his lip, pretending indifference. “But once we’re married, you’ll be stuck with me fussing over you all the time, so you might as well start getting used to it.”

She leaned in slightly, trying to catch his eye. “Besides, eating alone sounds so lonely. Who else would remind you to order something green on your plate?”

Deep down, she wondered if she was pushing him too much, if her warmth only pushed him further away. But she held on to her hope, telling herself that persistence was all she needed—he’d realize her love was exactly what he needed someday.

"So, what would you like to eat? I heard their Pad Thai is delicious!"

@✧˚ l. saerom he sighed softly, rubbing the back of his neck at the remarks from the woman in front of him. "whatever then. i eat well every day, so you don’t have to worry about me. just worry about yourself—you’re so thin." the last part came out as a mumble, but seungcheol acted like he hadn’t said anything, as if he didn’t actually care about her. he bit his lip and glanced at the menu. "maybe i am."

he glanced back at her, noticing how she kept that gentle smile, completely unbothered by his coldness. it almost made him feel guilty. — almost. “it’s just another day. you don’t need to fuss over me like that,” he mumbled, though his voice softened.

@✧˚ s. bible being rather new in the town, but needing to familiarise herself with everything quickly, tzuyu started off by visiting khayan, partly because it was such a popular spot, and she was quite famished as well after a sleepless night. from what she had heard, it was one person managing the whole store, and she was amazed and could relate; she'd been alone for such a long time, after all.

entering the store, she greeted the boss with wide smile, asking for some recommendations. "hello! is there anything that people mostly ask for?"

@✧˚ c. seungcheol Saerom tilted her head, giving him a soft, unwavering smile, refusing to let his words discourage her. “I know, Seungcheol,” she said, her voice warm and gentle. “But everyone needs company now and then, right? Besides, I’m just making sure my future husband eat a good meal after such a busy day.”

She ignored his crossed arms and the way he leaned back as if to create more distance between them, focusing instead on the little things—the fact that he was here, seated across from her. “I can tell you’ve had a rough day,” she continued, as if his words hadn’t hinted at his indifference.

「He’ll come around eventually,」

she thought...「he just needs time.」

The woman chuckled under her breath, a little hint of emotion cracks on her usual residing face, fingers drumming on the table before nodding slowly "Ah, so.... it's phi Bible? Or the other way around?" Ning tips her head to the side curiously before pursing her lips out thoughtfully. "Would you like to surprise me? Just something... light and creamy with noodles would be fun to try? With your Thai flavors of course, I'm pretty sure it would be amazing. So surprise me and let me try it? Since my tastes are fluttering with the wind and I don't know what do I want right now." She mumbled with a sheepish chuckle.

@✧˚ n. yizhuo "Ah yes, I have instant noodles, Mama, Indomie, Shin Ramyun, I have them all, and also if you want your tom yum with rice noodle, I can give it to you," he explained, hands gesturing to the stack of boxes by the back of the kitchen where he kept the instant noodles. "It's khun Bible, but that's too formal, you can call me phi, instead," he explained with a gentle smile, happy that someone brought a little bit of his culture to the restaurant.

I could probably order both and take away so I'd have something to eat later on and won't need to prepare something," ning mostly mumbles off to herself before flashing the male a soft smile and nod her head once in gratitude. "Thank you for the tea, bible khun?" Mumbles a little unsure, "not too sure if that should be after or before your name, apologies."

@✧˚ n. yizhou "mhm I'm Bible," he confirmed and shuffled back to the kitchen to prepare a complimentary free plain tea for his new patron. He showed her a sorry smile when he gave her the beverage and shook his head. "No dumplings, unfortunately, but I make a really good egg foo young!"

@✧˚ s. bible "Oh, hello! Bible?" Ning clarified, not wanting to get the name and person wrong, but judging by his features, he does look like the guy who spoke to her in the group chat prior, inviting her over to a meal which she appreciated no doubt. A small smile plays on her lips,,albeit a little strained, unsure if she should be as friendly but also not wanting to showcase a mean demeanor to someone who seems kind at least. "Thank you," bowing her head slightly, ning walks over to settle down, eyeing the menu with piqued interest, her eyes glimmer in surprise and her lips part with a soft breath elongated. "You even prepare Chinese cuisine? Xiaolongbao, as well?"

@✧˚ n. yizhou Bible emerged from the backroom and into the open kitchen pushed against the wall of the restaurant with a small smile. "Hello, welcome to Khayan," such sentence came naturally to him, as a way to welcome patrons into his small restaurant. His smile grew when he recognize the woman and he gestured for her to take a seat anywhere empty. "Make yourself comfortable," he told her whilst grabbing the menu, showcasing various classic Thai foods, japanese foods, and even Korean and Chinese foods.

@✧˚ s. bible Ning was a bit surprised by the sudden advertisement in the group chat but she didn't mind one bit, it was nice to be invited over to a new spot to try, being an adventurous soul and a foodie — it went just right for the young woman. After her errands, she found the restaurant that's called "khayan". Clearly, it's Thai cuisine and that alone had the young woman feeling rather elated and excited to try something new. As she enters the restaurant, her entry made a bell chime and there's another at the front desk which she dings once before leaning on the counter and folding her arms across her chest. Wearing all black, nothing pretty new there, a black leather pants skinny down and a black crop top, tattoos and piercings showcased as her messy dark strands are loosely tied into a messy bun.
