AFFILIATE ALERT: ILLUMINATE ENT AU
★ ILLUMINATE is a supernatural entertainment OC RP with a unique take on idol life. On the surface, ILLUMINATE is just another entertainment company that people take their chances at, but behind closed doors lies a dark truth: it is home to cursed individuals who have passed on and revived as a fallen or an arbiter (the supernaturals of the rp) aiming to return to their human lives. ILLUMINATE RP covers their struggles to achieve something similar to the life of a human by having them gain fame and public favor. The more fame and favor one has, the more perks they’re able to acquire, and the closer they get to getting back to their lives as humans. It is definitely much easier said than done, seeing as celebrities can get canceled at the drop of a hat, but all it takes is a little effort and grit. Will your muse be able to rise in the ranks to celebrity status or will they fall lower into their despair?

★
q: why don't i get points in some of the rooms?
★ a: as previously stated, some rooms have points turned off. this is done to prevent people from abusing the point system instead of actually roleplaying; they instead post, spam or crack talk. reminder that this is not a crack roleplay!
★
Q: why are only five (5) characters allowed?
★ a: do you really want to roleplay with the same person again and again under a different face? come on now. also, admins have one more character allowed because one is seen as a "null" character, their ceo muse, and are not really roleplayable. the ceo is an "administrative" character.
★
Q: what does a manager do?
★ a: as a part of the staff, they take care of his/her designated idol artist(s). the manager is the one who conveys the ceo's decisions to the group if the ceos are busy. managers work closely with the group, for example if they also have projects in mind, have worked/written any songs they want to include in the album, if they want solo activities, or even special stages. you name it, the manager is there for them! managers also work with line distribution, makes sure the group is always on schedule to shows, recordings and other events. in short, a glorified baby sitter. welcome to the dream team!
★
q: do we have to apply as actors/soloists/models for staff position?
★ a: not necessarily! however it is preferred. the reason being that we want to keep the majority of active idol face claims open to be roleplayed as trainees, to debut in the near future. of course you can also promote actively as a soloist manager, if you'd like. also, generally most idols are younger, ranging from teens to adults in their early-mid twenties, so how would you expect a 20 year old manager to manage a group of 21+ trainees? aka a baby taking care of a baby. you are also free to use retired idols, or idols who have disbanded or just are not active!
★
q: what other staff position can i apply for?
★ a: staff positions include but are not limited to:
producers, stylists, make up artists as well as four important ones: vocal coach, rap coach, choreographer and manager!
★
q: what are the skills/talents i am allowed to have?
★ a: basically anything an idol is good at! the list includes but is not limited to:
*note: please only claim 1-2 of the talents that are in bold!
singing
rapping
dancing
choreographing
acting
modeling
lyric writing
composing
producing (audio mixing and mastering),
instruments (every instrument will count as a separate talent)
variety shows (such as hosting, comedy, etc;)
★
q: how do classes work?
★ a: first wait to be tagged (also check the notice board from time to time). when you are tagged by a coach (vocal, rap, choreo) they will let you know the date, time and location the class will be held at. make sure you read their instructions because every coach and every class is different. you will likely have to roll the dice to determine your performance in class (rolls will not affect the points you receive for attending class, everyone has good and bad days and not everyone can be perfect!). at the end of the class all participants who rolled and posted/interacted in the class will receive 50 points.
★
q: if there is a different version of a song, does it count as two different songs to claim or do you claim it once?
★ a: if it is released on record as the second, you will have to claim production of the second version, as well as the language difference (lyric and production). for example: kwon eunbi's door wasn't released as a "band version" on record, so in here you won't need to pay for it!
