//performs the most memorable stage of Hip we've ever done, having been holed up in rehearsals for weeks, preparing this, remixing, and making sure every move and even flick of a wrist is spot-on, joined by a little army of backdancers on stage; the song in itself was a show off boasting track, but with rigorous training we wanted to show the haters, that DIA could dance, if we wanted to. Which we didn't/
//after yet another -out performance, I can head back behind the curtains and watch from there the shocked faces of the audience when Changwook emerges in his deep purple stage outfit and start his song - nobody having expected him to perform tonight, let alone along DIA members - Yeji and Natty in this case.

@◈ chrystal jung⁻ˢᵗʸˡᶦˢᵗ The camera swinging up in Byulyi’s face almost made her choke on her bottle of water. She did her best to cover for her coughing as she scrambled to her feet, praying that they would cut to a wide-shot as she walked towards stage. But as she glanced up towards the stage she saw her own flustered expression projected behind Chrystal. It only made her walk faster, hurrying to take her spot beside her colleague and smiling politely as she accepted the offered trophy.

And then it was her turn. Byulyi cleared awkwardly, not having expected to need to make a speech for the night. “T-thank you! I… Was not expecting this, really.” Her lips cracked open in that typical gummy smile of hers. “I owe some thanks to my friends and colleagues. The people that always believed in me. My collaborators. To Stal, Tiff, J- Ruby Jane. To all of ya that pushed me to do my best. Thank you!”
Better than she had expected, all things considered. With the reward lifted up proudly she began heading back down towards her seat.

"... Please welcome to the stage--"
Chrystal did not wait for the announcement to welcome her onto the stage - fashion waited for no one and it was one of the very rare occasions she would actually be seen on stage - nobody told her when and how to be on stage then, nobody will do now. The cameraman made sure to capture her stride from the tips of her heels, upwards the satin flutter of her dress and ending on her face right when she assumed the position in front of the podium.
"Category is: Best New Artist," she started when the organically accumulated applause died down enough, with any preamble, "ladies and gentlemen, my name is Chrystal Jung and I am here tonight to present to you the nominees in this esteemed award category - one that celebrates the artists who took the leap and made their first steps into the world of idolhood, with all its... bits and bobs." A well-manicured hand pointed to the screens with snippets of songs, alongside their performers, rotating in a slideshow, before the cameras were back on her. "A promising pool of talents, but who will emerge victorious?" she taunted, using a manicured nail to slit the top of the envelope open inconspicuously, the inserted slip of paper materilizing in her hand as if out of thin air "Ladies and gentlemen, it is a pleasure to present to you - tonight's winner of the Best New Artist award... Moonbyul!"

@❅ jung eunbi ᵖᶦˣᶦᵉ Yujin waited backstage as the other two presented the awards since it wasn't her turn, only when the LeDeux and Solar walked back to the backstage, Yujin took a step forward, bowing her head to her seniors just before she took their place on the stage, although it's not to present any award.

She let the crowd cheered some more, slowly lifting her mic up to . "I hope you guys are still have a lot of energy because we are just reaching the middle part of the award." She smiled as her eyes scanned the audience then continuing "I'm sure everyone would agree with me when I say every year is a journey. Be it like on calm water, or even feels like a roller-coaster ride. This journey shaped us slowly to be a better version of ourselves."

Flipping her cue card, Yujin paused a bit, glancing discreetly to see the sign from the backstage staff that the preparation is done and the next performer is ready. Shifting her attention back to the crowd and the cameras, she resumed "And there's one saying that we say to wish for a good journey to someone" Her dimpled smile got wider as people cheered, knowing what she wanted to say. "That's right! We say Bon Voyage. So now, let's hear it from our one and only Pixie!" With the light dimmed on her, she returned to her post in the backstage while Pixie performed her song.

Good, good, but don't tire out - the night has just started! It is my honor tonight to step out on stage, this time not as a performer, and not as a nominee, but to present the well-deserved winner in the Best RnB Category. But let's see the nominees!
//a cut plays with all the nominees of tonight, a snippet of every nominated track with a side-by-side live stream of the nominees themselves, sitting in the audience; afterwards i flip open the envelope and sneak a look at it, containing my smile as to not ruin it/
Ah, that was so rhythmic, wasn't it? Everyone, RnB is a mellow style, but you should not be mellow about it when you cheer for the winners of Best RnB tonight are... LeDeux!

“Wonderful! Wonderful, are they not?” he excitedly cheered as the performance finished up and the applause was quieting down. “Truly it is together we are the best. So let us all together rush on towards the next award, for it is in fact about the teamwork,” he continued on, pretending to jokingly run towards the podium, stopping only for a moment to straighten his suit and cuffs for a moment before the MC mode was full on with smiles and all: “And the nominees for Best collaboration!”

The drums began their roll as Changwook gestured back up towards the screen behind him. Snippets of performances and music videos played as each set of artists were announced. To his own surprise he even saw some repeats, giving him a momentary chuckle in private before spinning back to the crowd. “And the winner is-“
The drumroll intensified in the background as he fumbled a little with the envelope, glancing up and performatively laughing at the awkwardness before it allowed itself to be ripped open. With a small flourish he produced the card with the answer, pausing dramatically as he lifted the microphone to his lips:
“Chunga and Ldx’s Gin with their song Play!”

Changwook smiled brightly as the camera panned over to his side of the stage. The night had been going quite well as they approached closer to the mid-point of the show. He hoped the crowd was enjoying themselves even half as much as he was, feeling in his element in front of all the lenses and eyes peering up at him. It was a rush.
“I feel like it is time we all celebrate a little before our next award. For it is said that two heads are always better than one, and with the upcoming award being all about collaboration, do you not think it fitting to get a special stage just like that?” He awaited the cheers of the audience before gesturing towards the dark stage. “Give it up for DIA’s Natty and Coeur’s Lisa!”

@◈ jessica jung⁻ᴾᴿ ᵐᵃⁿᵃᵍᵉʳ Once the CEO presented the award for the Best Choreographer, Yujin once again took her place on the stage, now already getting used to the job and how to address the audience. This time, she appeared from the left side of the center stage and then made her way to the podium, the envelope in her hand. "Through the journey of Kpop, we have seen so many music videos that captured our eyes, be it for the aesthetic or the storyline, and tonight, with this Best Music Video award, we shall give an appreciation to one video that everyone deemed to be the best music video for them. Let's see the nominees..." The screens behind her showed a cut from several music videos that made the cut to be the nominees, each of them accompanied by a loud cheer from the audience, and when the focus was back on her, Yujin slowly opened the envelope while smiling. "And the winner of the Best Music Video award goes to Palette by Jessica Jung! Congratulation!

"... Give a big round of applause to miss Tiffany Young!"

Tiffany walked out on stage on cue, wearing her trademark eye-smile, and a record-shaped "envelope" in her hands. "Good evening, Bangkok! And hello to everyone watching us tonight on TV and the official stream - are you guys liking the show so far?" the crowd erupted in applause, to which Tiffany smiled wider. "Tonight it is my honor to present to you, the award for Best Choreographer, and my oh my do we have a strong list of contenders for tonight. Shall we see them together..."
On the screens they projected a cut of emblematic dance moves, side by side with a live camera on each nominee's face as they found them in the auditorium, before letting Tiffany continue. "They all created some unforgettable moves, but the winner can only be one. And it is..." she pulled the insert out of the 'envelope', smiling warmly at the familiar name "... a great honor for me to announce that the winner of the Best Choreography award tonight, leaving his mark on songs such as Playing With Fire, Pink Venom and Bon Voyage, and my dear friend - is Lee Minho - Lee Know!"
The applause spike up again as I take a step sideways in order to present the trophy to the young man joining me on stage.

*raises the trophy as I am handed the mic, thanking in heavy accented English so the international fans would also be included, and passes the mic away*
*instead of back to our seats, we are guided into the backstage for a quick accessory change and make up touch ups, before our last stage of the night where we perform Dimelo and Ride on the wind, to the sounds of so many applause that it doesn't feel like a job even for a second*
*one fan manages to respectfully hand the security some gifts from our fansites and I end up clutching a Pikachu plushie happily, waving to everyone as we exit the stage and return to our seats to enjoy the show*

chungha followed the others up to the stage and kept herself in the back as everybody else spoke, holding onto her trophy and smiling and bowing when she had to. there wasn't much that she had to say, but she moved forward when it was her turn and kept the bright smile on her lips.

"thank you so much! i will continue to make you all proud and make good music for you as well."

The dimmed lights slowly returned as Changwook theatrically jogged out to meet his spotlight. Opposite him Yujin walked in from stage right, meeting her spotlight with far more grace than himself. Just like dance presenting was a dance between two parts - her the grace, him the fool. A classic push and pull one might say. Both looked over at each other, giving a slight nod in unison as they began walking towards the podium in the middle, their spotlight forming together as the evening’s theme quieted down.

“With theatrics like that, I believe it is time we start investing in a best acting award for the coming years,” Changwook joked to open them up for the next award to come. He could hear some polite laughter from over the edge of the stage, giving the audience their moment before continuing: “But we have many other awards to get to, so perhaps it is for the past that we do not currently plan to expand the awards list.”
“Some times there is comfort in traditions,” Yujin added, earning a small nod from her co-presenter.
“Indeed there is. And there is one tradition we’ve held for many years. A chance given to each one of you at home to participate.”
“For just like last year and the years before-” Yujin continued, expertly taking control as she smiled towards the cameras. “-we have a few fan favourites to celebrate. The performers that wooed your minds and hearts throughout the year with their laughter, their perseverance, their ups and their downs. Those that stood out from the crowd with their performances and antics.”

Both MCs looked at each other, timing each others’ words up in sync:
“We give you-“ Two hands come up, gesturing for the screen. “-the nominees for this year’s Fan’s Choice Awards!”

A video package starts playing, showing off viral moments of the last year: funny and heartfelt interview answers, handheld phone recordings of concert antics, V-Live clips and reaction shots from many a variety show. Each clip reveals another nominee on the list, forming a solid lineup of artists that seem to have been on the tip of everyone’s tongue all year.

“A slideshow like that is sure to wake many a fond memory,” Changwook announced with bravado as he turned back towards the crowd and their applause. “And you at home have helped make this very list.”
“And together you have decided on the ones that stuck with you throughout the years,” Yujin continued as she presented an envelope towards Changwook, having pulled it off the podium. He reached over, ripping the tip off before gesturing for her to pull out the piece of paper. There was a dramatic roll of drums as she neatly placed the list of names before them on the podium.
“This year’s Fan’s Choice Awards go to-“ Yunjin’s voice was strong over the increasing beat of the drums.

Showtime.
“Chungah!”
“Janus!
“Pixie!”
“And LeDeux!”
The two MCs presented one name at a time each, giving the audience a moment of cheer and the artist’s a moment to react before announcing the next. They went through the list slow, the artists slowly starting to come up onto stage as they announced all four.

“Your Fan’s Choice of the Year, ladies and gentlemen,” Yujin capped them off, both MCs stepping back to give the artists their time in the spotlight.

Wooyoung was on his feet as soon as Hyunjin's name was announced as the winner, even if the other was genuinely surprized to accept the trophy - Hyunjin had been a tough nut to crack, and he hadn't even cracked either, but they had found common ground in their lives in the lacks of their fathers, and it brought a sense of understanding between the two young men, an acceptance. Wooyoung had been looking up to Hyunjin for his prowess in dance anyway (not to mention his long-term relationship with Jungkook, which was another awe-inspiring moment for the Ilsan-born dancer - a feat he never thought was viable overall in life), but now he knew they also clicked well together and worked as equals.

The lights were dimmed, a momentous silence, right before a booming voiceover (actually Yeosang's deep voice) echoed over the arena - "Do you want to be... ordinary?" the voice asked in a weird mix of the words "odd" and "ordinary", as the silhouette of Hyunjin was raised to the top by a harness. "His poor balls" Wooyoung murmured under his breath, before marching out on stage and taking his position on the beat.
At this point in their lives, the group moved well together already, long days in the rehearsal studio paying off, and they looked good doing it - all black leather and metallic appliques.
As the beat toned down and Hyunjin was once again lowered to the ground, Wooyoung knew it was over for them - this would be the moment on everyone's lips for days to come, and he had to pick up on his efforts so he wouldn't ruin the overall vibe. Honestly, this timing was perfect - to lower Hyunjin down like some messiah, right after his win. As if it was orchestrated specifically for them.
Not that it was necessary. He could perform this number in his sleep - he choreographed it after all, with his "son" nonetheless (Lix). What he needed to focus on was the right notes in his singing, and he channeled every lesson Chungha ever drilled into their brains while running on her dreaded treadmills and singing.

Thank Yeosangie was soon "stolen" (tugged away very gently) by the "minions" (backdancers), and a VCR started playing on the screens, showing the "evil scientist" (Hyunjin before he got his hair done) in his "lair" (a parking lot behind the company building), so the boys could catch their breath for a moment, and the victim himself (Yeosang) to climb into his little lab cage, where he would perform a short solo dance break. Wooyoung wished he could see it.
But he was assigned to crouch on the floor and make himself look invisible to the cameras until it was their time to rise.
Another choreography by him and wow did he really make it so... extorting? His arms were beginning to limp, as if his blood circulation could not reach them and damn, San's arms are really ripped huh? Especially sweaty like now. Focus, Wooyoung! Whoever gave San the sleeveless crop was a genius-- FOCUS. Time for his own little solo lines where the camera was only on him and he gave face, , and sass. Just like momma taught him.

Aaaand they were running, and no, he definitely did NOT add this to the choreo, but here they were, storming the Capitol. He would have strong words with the stage director later, but now he had to focus on finding his spot as they reached the end of the stage, wobbling in place as his legs took him to it on pure muscle memory. His breathing was really worsening and he couldn't figure out why, but the air smelled like gunpowder and tasted like... like when you kiss Loren - like an ashtray. Don't get now. Channeling his horndog thoughts he went full throttle into the ending, the stage turning into a complete madness, the crowd screaming at them as they delivered the final two choruses and ended it right then and there - how did Hanbin have the stamina to not only deliver his lines, but also dance lead and center of it, Wooyoung did not know. Leadership and spite, probably.
He wobbled once more but held on long enough for the lights to dim perfectly dark, before tilting his whole body backward and landing into the sweet abyss of San's biceps (ideally for his lifeless corpse to be dragged off stage by the elder).
Ah, sweet bliss.

@☼ hwang hyunjin Yeji was on standby as soon as the Songwriter of the Year winners made their way up. The envelope containing the names of the winners in hand as MC Ji Changwook announced her name for the presenter. The spotlight shifted to her as she smiled towards the camera before making her way towards to podium. She adjusted the mic and leaned in, looking at the audience as she smiled.

"Producing a song is probably one of the hardest things to do. I would say producing is polishing and adding more creativity to what has already been created in order to suit the taste of those who listen."

"This year's nominees for Producer of the Year are:"

The big screen played a VCR introducing the nominees and playing some of the songs they have produced while the camera showed the different producers. She hummed softly before opening the folded envelope, leaning into the mic once again. "And the winner for this year's Producer of the year is... Hyunjin of Janus!"

After their performances earlier, Sua was pretty pumped, although she did make sure to stay with Felix, checking on him every once in a while from their place, and staying beside him. With the camera panning over to the nominees of the Songwriter of the year award, Sua and Jiwon felt quite honoured to even be nominated, especially Jiwon who had recently debuted. Seeing each of the nominees, both girls clapped, until their names were announced. Sua's mouth formed an o while Jiwon's eyes brows raised, eyes widening as her hand covered , looking around as she stood up along with her senior. Both girls bowed politely to those around them before Sua reached over to hold onto Jiwon, guiding the younger girl as she gave her a gentle pat, congratulating her in the process which made the younger of the duo bow her way.

Once they made it up the stage, with lots of bowing left and right, Sua gently nudged the younger to receive the trophy, saying their thanks before receiving it and making their way to the podium. Sua took a deep breath before she looked over at Jiwon then back to the audience, leaning in over to the mic. "Thank you so much for voting for us~ Thank you to our company, DSF, Stephanie-nim, Seohyun-nim, for betting on us and giving us chances to write not only for us-" She gestured to the two of them. "-but to different artists, our sunbaes, our hoobaes. Thank you to our group members, from le deux and Coeur, and the DSF staff~ Thank you to our fans, lespremiers and and cheries~ we couldn't have done this without you~" She then also spoke in Japanese, quickly translating everything she just said before passing on the chance to talk to Jiwon.

The blonde girl was quite nervous as Sua adjusted to mic for Jiwon who was much taller than her. "Good evening, uhmmm I think Lua sunbaenim have said most of what is needed to be said but I- uhm we would like to thank everyone who has supported us, watched us grow, and helped us in writing these songs for all to listen to." She spoke in English, having a bit of accent but she was thankful she got to convey her message. With that, the duo bowed their heads and made their way down. Sua escorted Jiwon to her seat first and gave Coeur two thumbs up before making her way to their table. Jiwon was honestly thankful Sua did most of the talking, unsure of what to say, but she seemed happy with the outcome.

@☾ hwang yeji “The power of well written lyrics are never to be understated. But-“ Changwook pauses dramatically as the camera pans over towards him, one finger raised up as he readies to make his point. “-would we remember them all without the beats that accompany them? There are layers to this beautiful treat we call a song, and one of those layers is the kind to make you want to shake your body.” He wiggled his shoulders a little as he spoke, stepping up towards the middle where Yujin had just been just moments before. “And those who produce the very beats that make us all feel like we are twenty again deserve our recognition as well. So allow me to present the presenter that will present for you-“
His smile was as bright as ever as he called her out.
“DIA’s Yeji!”

@♊︎ moon sua ᴸᵁᴬ Once all the performers for the segment had done their numbers, Yujin made her way back to the stage although this time she was alone. An envelope in her hands instead of the previous cue card. When the crowd settled down, Yujin's dimpled smile bloomed once more as she leaned forward slightly to the mic. "Beautiful performances from the artists, don't you think so everyone?" Her smile widened as the people cheered "This year, our ears have been blessed by a lot of amazing songs from various artists. But sometimes we forget that behind every hit song, there were amazing brains that created the masterpiece. Those lyrics touched our hearts, made us cry, or even brought out excitement as we listened to the song. And tonight, I will present the Songwriter of the Year award to give appreciation for those creative minds behind every hit song. Let's hear the nominees!" The screen behind her starts playing cut videos of the songs while introducing the songwriters who made the cut to be the nominees for the award. Trying not to show her eagerness, Yujin looked back to the audience as she opened the envelope. Her grin just got wider when she saw the winner's names "And the winner is... The amazing duo, Lua of LeDeux and Liz of Coeur! Congratulations!"

Despite what happened on the red carpet, with Felix's determination, they decided to continue to perform as scheduled, although Mingi couldn't help but cast a worried glance over and over again at Felix even before they got on the stage, to make sure that the smaller guy was fine and nothing like before could happen again.

Sighing quietly, he decided to cast all the worries aside. For now, they had to perform a rather silly performance. Their own take on the legendary song from one of the big seniors in the industry. Once they stepped on the stage, all Mingi could focus on was how he would deliver the performance to be enjoyable and fun to see to the audience.

The exaggerated hand movements and silly dances were all so different compared to the dances they used to do, and to be honest, it was a pleasant change and a fun experience for him personally. The girls looked like they were having fun as well, and at a glance, Felix looked like he was fine, too. And before they knew it, the performance ended, and Mingi wrapped an arm around Felix's shoulders as he grinned at the girls once they were back to backstage. "That was fun. We should do something like that more often."

//covering someone like the goddess Lee Hyori herself was scary but still exhilarating - and doing it together with my own bestie is just turning it into a pleasant experience, that just so happens to be televised/
//initially clad in the pale blue dress, I do my best to give Miss Korea her flowers, having invited past and current "Miss Koreas" to serve as an additional treat for the audience, feeling the onslaught of positive vibes when I come to stand between them/
//we don't have enough time for hugs and kisses though, as I have to rush and change outfits behind stage, while there is a little western scene going out on stage, ready just in time to stand next to Jennie on the platform that raises us/
//squeezing her hand one last time, I get back into stage presence and descend the lit stairs to the stage while the backtrack narrates our "bad girls" intro. I get to see Jennie in her element, up and close, having so much fun and tearing the stage, while she covers the bigger part of Bad Girls with her own rap. I can't keep the grin off my face, even as she exits to change costumes again and I'm left alone in the black leotard to fire a confetti shotgun, but soon enough I am the one who has to run off and change, while she starts the final part of the performance - the cover of The Baddest Female/
//as the furry neon jacket is thrown on me, I immediately miss the freedom of the simple black leotard, but we gotta be professional here. even if it means being professional and sweaty in the Bangkok heat/
//a group of male dancers literally carries me out, which is awkward enough, but I try not to dwell too much on it, focusing on the final dance break Jennie and I have - only us on the stage, matching black and white (skimpy) outfits and big heavy coats, as we rip into the dance, and end it laying on the floor, where I barely hold my excited laughter until the spotlight is turned off and we are ushered backstage and then into our seats, hugging Jennie tightly all the way for the amazing stage we just did, all of our hard work paying off hearing the loud roars of the crowd/

"That is true. But we have to agree that some of the legendary songs still live on till these days." She nodded enthusiastically as the crowd roared in, cheering once more as she spoke. "Some of the legendary songs that, personally for me, that I do still listen to these days are Love Me Right by Carat XY" Yujin paused to let the crowd react to the hit song. "Also from the big sunbae, Lee Hyori-nim, Miss Korea. I also love The Baddest Female." Yujin ended it with a little dance of the song though she quickly bowed, a sheepish smile on her face. "I'm sorry that was not a proper dance from me." She chuckled. "Let's not forget about the hit song from Roo'ra Sunbaenim, 'Angel with lost wings'. And also 'Invitation' from Uhm Junghwa Sunbaenim. I'm sure you can agree with me."

Shifting her cue card, Yujin waited for Changwook to say his insert, then proceeded to introduce the next segment of the show. "Tonight, we will have beautiful performances by Ledeux, Pixie-nim, Royal Flush, and Dia Red Sun. Each of them will perform their version of those hit songs." She smiled as she looked at the crowds waving the light sticks of the performing artists excitedly. "Kpop then, now, and forever. The stage is yours."

Changwook leaned back a little and hummed, an overly exaggerated act as he pretend to ponder the question. “You ask hard questions. It would have to be something from… hm… the 80s? No, 90s. Early 2000s,” he continued on, making one suggestion after another as he continued on with their little script, each line already memorized. “I can’t put my finger on it specifically, but it would have to be a song that sticks with me even after the radio is off where I can’t stop humming it to myself.”

@◈ ji changwook⁻ᴹᶜ Following the steps, Yujin stood next to Changwook, the smile never leaving her lips as her eyes fixed on the cameras in front of them as Changwook gave the opening speech. She nodded slightly in agreement before continuing from where he left off. "And tonight, I, Ahn Yujin of Coeur along with my amazing sunbae, Ji Chanwook-ssi, shall accompany you through the night, enjoying the festival together." She smiled as the crowds applauded, pausing a bit and then continuing. "We have amazing performances and a lot of awards to be presented tonight, so stay tuned with us." She shuffled her cue card and glanced down to see the rundown of the event, shifting a bit so she could look at the ahjussi beside her. "K-pop has been a big part of our life and not only people in Korea but also worldwide just as how we able to have this grand award in this beautiful city of Bangkok." Another cheer from the crowd was heard before she went on. "Changwook-nim, as my sunbae, are there any songs that leave an everlasting impression until today?" The topic was chosen as they slowly progressed to the next theme of the performance.

As San and Moonbyul made their way off the stage to the fanfare of the night’s theme Changwook stepped back out onto stage, the spotlight easily finding him in the darkness and trailing him towards the front of the stage. One of two spotlights that was, the other following Yujin in a gorgeous red dress as she stepped up next to him. It is brave, and though he cannot say it out loud he offers her a warm smile and nod before turning out towards the audience.

“And here we are, ladies and gentlemen, at the very opening of our beautiful night together filled song-“ He paused, letting Yujin continue as they went in tandem. “Laughter.” “Cheers.” “Excitement.” “And I am sure many a memory that will stick with each and every one here. The show schedule is packed tight, so we shall try our best not to take up too much of your time here tonight. I am sure there are many artists and performances you already look forward to.”

@◈ moon byulyi ᴍᴏᴏɴʙʏᴜʟ⁻ʳᵃᵖ ᶜᵒᵃᶜʰ It came as a surprise. A pleasant one. San knew he was being nominated for the Fashion Icon Award, but when he saw the list of the other nominees, he thought that it would be fine not to win the award, seeing that the others definitely had a better fashion sense compared to him.

So imagine his surprise when it was his name that Moonbyul called the winner. He blinked, trying to register it when one of his groupmates pushed him forward; San didn't even know who, but he definitely needed that push. He bowed his head as he made his way to the stage to receive the trophy.

Standing behind the podium, San looked at the award in his hand with disbelief, and he was still a bit speechless when he started his speech. "I... Wow. I still can't believe I won, but thank you for your votes for me and for thinking that I have a good fashion sense, which I owe to our amazing stylist, who happened to be a nominee too, Ms. Chrystal Jung. Thanks for our style team too. Without you guys, I wouldn't have won this. Our dearest Flare! Thank you very much!" San gave a bow and waved his hand as he walked to the backstage, a bright smile on his face.

yunjin followed the other girls out to the red carpet for their performance to open up the show, and she couldn't help but smirk as the song started to play and the crowd went crazy. there was something so invigorating about being onstage performing a song *she* had spent countless hours working on for the group, and it made her feel to warm inside that it had been chosen to be on the ep.

"really, i'm honestly just sad about my shoes." she was quick to bring the microphone up to start the song, shrugging a shoulder and glad to be out of the formal red carpet outfits they had been told to wear (not that this was much better, since she had to make sure her tattoo bandages were on to hide them).

the performance went smoothly on yunjin's end and she held the end pose for just long enough to get good pictures before she was following at the end of the line as they exitted to the backstage area once again. "yeah, we did great."

@☼ choi san It was a shame to miss one of the big highlight performances of the newbie group, yet as she listened to their music loudly echoing through the walls Byulyi was in the midst of getting mic’ed up before her own little spotlight. The all too familiar nerves of standing before the very empty stage in front of a very not empty theatre made her heart palpitate.

Once fully geared she stepped closer, waiting for her cue.
And as if asked she heard that same announcer ring out over the speakers as the applause and cheer rose higher again:
“Ladies and gentlemen, please find your seats. Tonights ceremony is about to begin!”

She cleared . One final check over her suit, adjusting the buttons and cuffs a little before steeling herself.

“To present tonight’s first award: Please welcome: Moonbyul!”

A musical theme started blaring in lieu of the announcer, a theme she was certain she would be tired off by the end of the night. With a bright smile plastered on her lips Byulyi stepped out, letting the spotlight trace the path before her towards a podium placed center-stage. She took her spot behind it, adjusting the microphone before placing her envelope onto the podium.

“Thank you! Thank you!” she cooed happily, easing the applause as people got to their seats again. “Though it still surprises me a little that I’m standing on stage tonight presenting an award like this, I could not say it would come at a better time. You all saw them outside, right? Now those were some proper outfits. And some shine just as bright all year around. Which brings me to-“
Byulyi flipped the envelope up before her, presenting it high for people to see.
“This year’s Global Fashion Icon!”
She cleared a little.
“Tonight’s nominee’s are: Chrystal Jung! Gin of Ledeux! Hyunjin of Janus! Jessica Jung! Lena of Pandoria! LIx of Ledeux!” Each face popped up on screen as she read them up one by one, stopping only for the briefest moment before continuing, her smile seeming far warmer. “Ruby Jane of DIA! San of Janus! Tomo of Re:New! And Yeji of DIA!”

Suddenly the stakes seemed a bit higher for herself as well as she grabbed the loose silk strip on the envelope and gave it a tug, the paper ripping loose to reveal the winner within. She grabbed the card, pulling it up just enough to see the letter before leaning closer to the mic: “And the winner is-“

“CHOI SAN OF JANUS!”

This is it.

Finally, after so much practice until dawn for this performance, they were ready to perform it to the public for the first time in an award show. It surely felt different than when she was in her previous group. The anxiousness was still there, but looking at her group members, Yujin smiled; everything would be alright.

Hearing the signal, Yujin got into her position, and once the song started, she couldn't remember much of what happened but one thing for sure was that she had so much fun. Performing not on stage but through the red carpet was something new and it was thrilling, in a good way, despite the incident which happened earlier. Well, she didn't know the details but maybe after the performance, she might as well ask their manager about what happened.

Everything went smoothly, in her opinion. The cheering was so close, and it gave her more energy than any energy drink could ever give, and just with a glance at each of Coeur's members, Yujin knew that they also felt the same.

"That’s my number hit my line"

The last line on her part before she posed for the ending, a satisfied smile on her face as she gazed at the crowd, taking in as much as those cheering people into her memory so when she felt tired and down, she would remember them and their loud cheering for the group.
