@♤ kim taehyung ⱽ "There, I think that's good" Seungjoo muttered quietly before thanking the staff member who'd helped them set up the small room for the impromptu live. The idea had come up when they were called out to the manager's office to get a first look at the band's lightstick. They'd spent the last month discussing and preparing for the release and it was definitely an exciting step in their slowly growing career. He knew the fans were also excited, and what better way to hype it up than with a small stream showcasing it? So, after getting the small white boxes, which he refrained from opening right away, he'd gotten Taehyung to join on stream for a quick unboxing. They'd been allowed in a small room designed for such occasions and had two staff members accompanying them, both to help out and for control. The two sat by a small table with the boxes to the side and out of the screen so they wouldn't give it away immediately. It was nearly 5:30PM so hopefully most of their fans would be out of school by now and could tune in, but otherwise, they could probably leave the live up for later. Once they got a thumbs up from the girl operating the camera, Seungjoo ran his fingers through his hair one last time as he turned to face his bandmate for confirmation "Ready?"

Jake had been live for the past few minutes, enjoying a little Q&A with his viewers, alternating between English and Korean as questions came and went while he waited for one of his gaming buddies to gather the group. So far it'd been mostly the usual stuff, if he'd eaten, what he'd been up to recently, and what he'd be playing today. At that last one, he gave a brief teasing smile but didn't give much away, simply saying that they'd figure it out soon enough. Truth was, he didn't know either. He left it up for the others to decide, so instead, he took the chance to talk a little bit about the recent trainee show, 9Lives, as someone brought it up in the comments. The show had ended and there was nothing new to reveal, but he still wasn't sure how much he was actually allowed to share, so he chose his words carefully. "There was definitely a lot of pressure." He started leaning back into his gaming chair and bringing his socked feet up on it to lean onto his knees. "A few of us male trainees had already debuted in other groups that didn't work out, so we were expected to be a bit more shaped up I guess, but the girls kept outperforming us." He said it with a quiet chuckle but it was a little hollow as he still cringed at himself when thinking back to how badly he'd done at the start of the show. "Every week it seemed like the judges' comments didn't change much even though we did try to take them into consideration and work on what they pointed out." His tone was soft but he tried to keep any past tension off of it, instead offering a dismissive shrug of his shoulders "But it is done now, so we focus on redeeming ourselves in the future" This time his chuckle was a bit brighter and more genuine as he attempted to brush off the topic. Almost as if on cue, there was a loud ping, announcing the invitation to join his friend's game.

"Alright, here we go~" His lips pulled into an excited grin as he switched to streaming his screen, where the viewers finally got a glimpse of Dead by Daylight's lobby where some of his usual friends were already waiting. As soon as the eery music started and his character popped up on the screen next to the others, he leant back with a sigh, one of his hands coming up to pull his newly dyed blonde hair back and out of his eyes. "This will be the game for today... I'm sure you will recognize my friends since I often play with them" He spoke up for a bit as they waited for the other two to join. He chewed a little on his bottom lip as he waited, free hand tapping a little onto the desk out of the frame. Being someone who easily got scared, horror games had never been his top pick, and he tended to try and avoid them, but anything was a good excuse for the others to try and drag Jake into playing these games despite how much he hated them. He was so jumpy most of the time expecting everything and nothing to jumpscare him that was barely any help to the team. He spent most of his time hiding, running, or too worried about whether he was being watched or followed to actually do his tasks.

His eyes landed on the name who had been chosen, or likely volunteered, as the killer for the session and he tipped his head back with a fake cry. Minsu absolutely loved the game and he was very skilled as the hunter. He also was well aware of how much Jake hated being chased, so he enjoyed toying with him just for s and giggles, often leaving him for last whenever he could just to terrorize him a little longer. The only thing holding him to this lobby was the fact that the stream was meant to be Halloween-themed, so he'd already agreed, much to his friends and the viewers' amusement and his own dread. "I hope you all know I will not even try to fix anything." He spoke out to the party channel, before redirecting his next words to just the viewers "I will be hiding for as long as I can, and if they manage to repair all the generators I'll just run to the exit" As he said it, he locked in his character and picked his items. Nothing too fancy as he didn't play the game enough to have anything level up too far.

Jaeyun got comfortable again for a short moment as he mentally prepared for the game, waiting for his friends to select their own items and characters. "I heard there's a new killer. Minsu will probably be picking it. I have no idea what it does though..." He admitted as he sat back a little, the game going into the loading screen. Although he would often watch the new trailers and teasers as they would be redirected to the gaming group chat, he never paid them much mind, nor had he played against the new killer yet, so he was going in blindly.

"Here we go..." He unconsciously whispered, leaning forward onto the keyboard again as the map finally loaded "There's no one here..." Jake commented, his voice still low as he peered around to find none of his teammates, and thankfully, no killer either. He carefully stepped back up against one of the walls as he quietly walked around in search of another player. He passed by a couple of generators but was too scared to work on them alone so he kept going. For the most part, he somehow managed to avoid Minsu, even managing to escape on the couple of occasions the other had caught sight of him. "We're almost there..." They had four generators down and were only missing the last one. Jaeyun was injured but couldn't bring himself to stop for two seconds at the same spot without feeling like the killer would jump him at any given moment, so he couldn't heal himself. Instead, he kept running while looking for the last generator. There were only two survivors standing, so at this point, it was probably best for them to be separated while one worked and the other tried to keep the killer away. That did nothing to help Jake's nerves as he ran around the map.

He'd been following one of the blinking lights when the quick increase of the creepy background music announced the nearing killer "Noona, what are you doing?" He whined lightly, at Sunghee, his only surviving teammate. His tone was back to a normal volume, if not a bit higher than usual, as he got more and more into the game. He peered back to glance at the girl who was running up towards him and immediately caught a glimpse of Minsu, who was running right behind her and now heading straight to him too. His jaw tightened a little in concentration, feeling his heartbeat pick up a little at the chase. After jumping over one of the window rails into the house, he quickly made his way into the nearest locker entirely forgetting the fact that Minsu had a great view of it from the window, as well as the fact that he was injured. Meaning he'd left a trail of blood behind him all the way up to the locker door. Giving the chat a quick glance, he offered a nervous smile to the camera "I don't think he saw me..." He said, directing his eyes right back to the game and waiting for a good few seconds before peering back up at the viewers "Do you think he left? It's been a while... He's probably tracking down noona by now..." Jaeyun said giving it a few extra seconds before finally pressing out of the hiding spot, taking him only a second to notice Minsu running right up to him from the moment the door opened. Almost as if he'd been standing there all along waiting.

He didn't entirely manage to contain the light screech of fear that left him but at least it was short and muffled. Still, the way he'd jumped in his chair and the expression on his face told his viewers everything they needed to know. He could feel the panic stamped all over it "Aish..." He let out a nervous, embarrassed chuckle feeling his heart beating wildly in his chest at the scare, his fingers continuously missing the keys as he made a quick attempt to run away, unavoidably getting caught by the other. Minsu did toy with him as usual, following him around for a little while as he crawled around the floor before finally picking him up to hang him one final time. This quickly led to their inevitable loss, once Sunghee got caught as well not too long after, keeping up the winning streak for the younger boy. "I'm no good at this game... I don't like being chased" Jake confessed with a brighter laugh now that they were back in the lobby and out of the creepy dark map. His heartbeat was slowly going back to normal, though one of his feet still fidgeted nervously under his desk as he waited for the game to restart. He took a brief moment to direct his attention back to the chat for interactions as he swirled his chair back and forth "Anyone got any tips on how not to die? Or how to not get a heart attack every time I get chased at least?"

reading the comments with anticipation before his smiles slightly faded away at some rude comments before he's trying to maintain his calm demeanours and silence himself, nodding at yongsun's remarks about the bands and chuckles when she excused herself. maybe he should do the same too(?) he was torn between to stay or to leave because he knows some of the members might be uncomfortable with him around as well due to his recent issues. he then whispered to jungkook's ear, "should I just leave and excuse myself out?"
