before you claim a song, please make sure your character has the required skills : 

composing, songwriting, producing and/or choreographing.

songs that are marked with "npc" in the spreadsheet are produced by people from outside the company, such as hired (foreign) producers and songwriters. please do not claim these as they are not open.

claiming a song for trainees and idols costs 20 points, for staff costs 10 points.

*note: if more people claim any part of the same song, the cost will be split between the parties.

there is a weekly limit for song claiming. three (3) tracks a week for trainees and idols, five (5) tracks a week for coaches/staff.

claiming comes as a first come, first serve basis. so do not be upset if someone calls dibs on a song before you do. there is a chance to ask nicely if that person would like to collab on the song instead! ideally, you are also free to roleplay the process of creating the song (like finding inspiration or having others pitch in and help).

*note: add the name of your partner(s) who helped you with any part of the credit beside the credit itself. if you do not desire to claim a certain credit, simply type "open" and it will remain open for anyone to claim.

point rewards for songs:
whenever your song is used, you will gain royalties. 
50 points for initial use on a release
40 points if the song is promoted on at least one music show.
20 points for each show win your song snatches.

 
*for multiple claims on a song, royalties will be split between the parties.

**when debuted idols promote songs on music shows, if they have at least one thread in a music show room during promotion, they will receive 20 points. two threads with different users will be 40 points, so on and so forth.

***if a promoted song wins, then every idol member of the group will receive 20 points.
