@❖ seo joohyun ˢᵉᵒʰʸᵘⁿ It did not take much for Eunbi to give in to Seohyun’s touch. It rarely did, and even less so now that she had been craving it. After hours of guilt and worry she was finally able to brush it all off and relax. Her breath hitched as her lips pressed to Seohyun’s. She leaned in to the touch, letting out soft murmurs of joy as she felt the older’s fingers brush through her hair. To think such heavy thoughts could be swept away by such light physical movements.
That was love, was it not? When everything just seemed to brighten and feel more manageable just because you were close to the person you trusted with your life.
Her lips parted way for a desperate gasp for air when Seohyun broke away, having neglected her need for oxygen as her need for her fiancee had been fulfilled. Eyelids fluttered and pressed shut tightly in an uncontrolled manner, all in an attempt to focus her eyes on the other. Wide pools of mahogany took in the beauty that was Seo Joohyun as her ears finally caught up.
????? ????? ???????????????
Eunbi could hear her rapidly accelerating heartbeat drum in her ears as she stared up at her fiancee. She had never doubted the words she spoke, but something in her tone was even more convincing than usual, leaving no room for doubt at all. “I-“ The words did filled her mind but struggled for order upon her tongue as she gathered her thoughts. “I love you too, Joohyun. No matter the challenges.” Her tone was hushed, as if someone was in danger of overhearing their conversation. “A-and I promise to be less… Selfish-“ The gaze that had drifted off of Seohyun’s as she thought focused back on those familiar features. “-in the future. I would do anything for you. I hope you know that.”
@♊︎ kwon eunbi ᴱᵘⁿ Seohyun listened loyally as Eunbi spoke, pausing where she needed in between rubbing Eunbi's shoulders. It was only when the 'I love you' rolled sweetly off her fiancee's lips that she stopped entirely, cupping the other's cheeks. The words echoed warm and proud in her chest, and there was no other way for Seohyun to meet the declaration than by leaning in for a kiss. She kept it short, only so she could confess her love aloud back. "I love you more than everything too," she breathed, and locked their mouths together anew.
Somewhere on the floor below them, someone's music played too loudly, and the thumping base provided a nice beat for Seohyun to dance across Eunbi's body with. Her fingers flit into Eunbi's hair, drawing her in closer until she forced herself to pull away. "I love you," she repeated, making sure Eunbi made eye contact with her before she said it. "I /love/ you."
@❖ seo joohyun ˢᵉᵒʰʸᵘⁿ The simple touch was enough. Eunbi squeezed her eyes tightly shut, swallowing down tears and sadness to give room for… Love. Just love. Perhaps a side of understanding. Either way, it was the right thing to focus on instead of wallowing in what had been done. There was no way for them to go back and change it. And if they had, Eunbi would have probably just have kept shut.
For as bad as it could be at times, relationships were built on communication, understand and a healthy dose of push and pull. And that was what she saw in Seohyun’s eyes when the woman lifted her head up to look at her. Understanding. She didn’t hate her. Didn’t harbour a smidge of resent.
Eunbi gently nodded her at Seohyun’s question, knowing deep down that it was still the truth. “And I love you. But if you should apologize, then so should I.” Fair was only fair, after all. “I could have been more mindful of the stress you were in. It was visible enough and I just… Plowed on still.” She pushed up to capture her fiancee’s lips in a gentle kiss. “I love you, Hyunnie. More than life itself.” And she meant that.
@♊︎ kwon eunbi ᴱᵘⁿ Seohyun's fingers absentmindedly played in Eunbi's short hair as she hung on to every word from her fiance's mouth. Their relationship wasn't easy. It was a difficult balance to maintain and even harder knowing how private their secret needed to be. Seohyun would sooner be hit by a bus before she let the media tear into her beloved. Her lips fell into the crown of Eunbi's hair, inhaling the fresh scent.
"I was completely out of line today... I let myself get too wrapped up in work to remember what's most important to me," Seohyun murmured. She peeled away and forced Eunbi to look at her by gently cupping her cheeks again, this time no teasing. "You're always my first priority," she said firmly, "and I'm sorry I forgot that. You don't need to apologize for anything." Her fingers raked into the side's of Eunbi's hair, and she smiled shakily. "I'm truly sorry, Bibi... I love you, though, you know that, right?"
@❖ seo joohyun ˢᵉᵒʰʸᵘⁿ Had this been any other day, any other moment, Eunbi's cheeks would have been red from the sight of Seohyun's form before her. To many it might have been stupid, but to her it never got any less special to have the privilege to be granted such sights from time to time. Yet her red cheeks were not from excitement. They were red from her having tried to rub away the tears that had seemed never ending jut a minute ago.
She stumbled ever so slightly as she practically tripped into her fiancée's open arms. Her face pressed in against Seohyun's chest, finding an odd comfort in the warmth and softness, eyes squeezing shut to just enjoy the moment. Her own hands moved up to grab at the shirt's back, balling the fabric a little in her hand to hold on tighter.
"You're my mess."
In the stillness of her previously roaring emotions, few words could have been more beautiful. Alongside Seohyun's teasing and prodding, she couldn't help but give a small smile. There were still tears gleaming in here eyes. No matter how much she tried to force it down there were hints of sadness still lingering, not fully wanting to let go.
"What is there really to tell," Eunbi sighed, leaning her head forwards to press her forehead to Seohyun's sternum. "I just... I came here so excited today, and though I understand why you were stressed and frustrated there was this voice in my head saying I was adding to it. That somehow I made your stress get worse by being so-" Her arms lifted up a little before dropping back down in defeat. "-much." The sound of her voice got lower, feeling a bit self-conscious explaining out loud how selfish her reasoning was. "I should apologize too. I should have known how busy you were with everything that happened."
@♊︎ kwon eunbi ᴱᵘⁿ Seohyun's dress pooled at her bare feet in a mess of fabric and sequins that she never wanted to wear, let alone see again. She fumbled into an oversized t-shirt, to reserve some dignity in this emotional moment. When she was somewhat dressed, she scooped Eunbi into her arms again. Her hug was tighter than the last, if it was even possible, and she clung for a minute longer than she should.
"You're my mess," Seohyun murmured fondly. She kissed away her fiance's tears, and smoothed the small hairs off her forehead. Her palms squished Eunbi's cheeks together to form little duck lips. "Gimme a smile, bibi..." she coaxed, all the while leading her backwards towards the bed. When they bumped into the mattress, Seohyun forced Eunbi to sit, leaning over. "I love you, and I'm sorry," she said earnestly, straddling Eunbi's lap. "I'm here with you now. Tell me everything."
@❖ seo joohyun ˢᵉᵒʰʸᵘⁿ Part of her was half-expecting Seohyun to begrudgingly care for her until the night was over, only to be more stressed in the morning to follow. There was probably a million things already on her fiancée’s plate without having to care for her drunkenly blabbering about some award that probably meant absolutely nothing to no one in the long run.
So when what she was met with was a shower of gentle kisses and the comforting warmth of her love’s hands on her cheeks, it just made the tears flow even faster. She felt so stupid for having caused all this, yet simultaneously such a wave of relief that she could not hold back. Her already blurry vision seemed to muddle into vague shapes of light and colour, barely able to make out anything, save for the golden glimmer that was Seohyun’s dress.
She had wanted to protest when Seohyun began apologizing. After all, she understood why the woman was stressed. She had so much on her mind that she needed to take care of that it was easy to lose track of things, even when they were right in front of her. Of course that did not mean it hurt any less for Eunbi when she was dismissed, but she would not hold that against her fiancée. If anything, she had simply worried that she had been a bother that only made her lover’s workload all the greater.
But she would take any time she could have with her right now. All to just wipe the slate clean. Perhaps in the morning when she was less of a mess she could aid her somewhat with her work as well, lightening the load between four shoulders instead of two. But that was for the morning. Right now she simply nodded, sniffling as she tried her best to stop the tears from continuing their fall. “I w-w-would like that.”
Where Seohyun was the spitting image of elegance, Eunbi was the mirror opposite. Her bare face bore the telltale streak of tears, her eyes red and puffy as she fumbled with the zipper at the back of her taller fiancée’s back. It took a few tries, but she finally managed to it fully; allowing herself to celebrate by sinking down on the bed. “I p-promise I’ll help you in the morning with your work,” she blurted out, using her wrists to dry and dab away as many tears as she could. “Oh god, I’m a m-mess. I’m sorry.”
Eunbi's voice tinkled like broken glass in the darkness of Seohyun's hotel room. Her fiance's arms fluttered around her neck like a frail hummingbird finding perch after a long travel. She could feel ever tremour in Eunbi's panicked body as her arms folded around her frame. The dampness at her shoulder confirmed the very thing she feared most. And Eunbi's gasped ramblings were like the hot, seal of approval that sizzled painfully in Seohyun's heart.
She held onto Eunbi desperately, burrowing her face in the soft skin at her neck and listening to her until she was done. And when she was, she kissed her neck, her cheek, her nose, her eyes, her forehead - everywhere she could. All the while, gently cupping the other's cheeks in her hands and swiping her tears away with her thumbs.
Seohyun had been stupid. This time, as the notifications pinged on her phone and e-mail in the background, she ignored them. They were fuzzy around Eunbi, who was her only focus in that moment.
"I am so sorry," Seohyun whispered. She raked her fingers gently through Eunbi's new, short, blonde hair, admiring the glow of moonlight on its strands. "I let the stress get to me and forgot what was really important... Your accomplishments deserve celebration." She nudged her forehead against her fiance's. "Can we start over? ... Maybe by taking this blasted dress off of me?"
@❖ seo joohyun ˢᵉᵒʰʸᵘⁿ The next few second after her knock felt like a whirl of impressions. There was some noise from behind the door, quickly followed by fumbling with the locks. The door swung open to a view of Seohyun, still dressed in her resplendent dress, yet closed a mere moment later, her whole body having been shifted within the room before her mind could even comprehend the change. Then there was her fiancée.
Beautiful, gorgeous Seohyun.
The light of her life.
Her unfortunate reason that she was still awake.
Her hands moved over Eunbi’s shoulders so affectionately that her tired eyes were on the verge of bursting to tears again. But she held strong, fighting the sting of the tired anguish until those same hands cupped her cheeks, tilting her head up just enough to see the worry written on the woman’s face. And as if the tears had been held back purely by her worries, they finally began rolling again. In the morning she would blame the alcohol, but right now all Eunbi could do was let them fall.
“Y-you’re not mad at me,” she finally managed to muster out, her arms coming up to seek a hug.
She had wanted to be more presentable in that moment. Had this whole plan on how she could get the to talk over what had happened earlier that day. It had been meticulously thought through down to the last detail, every word carefully selected so that she wouldn’t mess up even with whatever alcohol was left in her system.
All that planning out the window in favour of her just blurting out the angsty ramblings of a teenager while hugging her wife to be. “I was so scared that I m-messed everything up today. I had just wanted to c-celebrate and I just- I was gonna- You were stressed-“ It all just flooded out of her with no rhyme or reason, .clearly having built up behind the walls she had put up for the reminder of the night.
@♊︎ kwon eunbi ᴱᵘⁿ Seohyun had made the necessary appearances at the awards show, and gone straight back to her hotel room the moment she could. There was a peace found on this floor that couldn't be found on many others. Members of her company - staff and idol alike - perused the halls at their leisure, most under the influence of the bubbly drinks from the after party, and speaking far too loud. Seohyun was hunched at her desk while typing out a few last e-mails when the time blinked at her alarmingly from the corner of her computer screen.
The day had slipped away from her... Looking down at herself, she realized she hadn't even changed out of the formal wear she'd gone to the party in.
She pushed off from the desk, tripping over the hemline while she arched awkwardly for the zipper. Ah, this was why she was still wearing it, Seohyun huffed begrudgingly. She yanked the doors open on the narrow closet, and grabbed one of the wire hangers. With a bit of twisting, she'd sorted it into a hook. The challenge now, was trying to hit the tiny target that was the zipper.
Seohyun's reflection mocked her in the half-length mirror as she hopped around trying to get the right angle. She was fully out of breath, flushed and disheveled, when the knock rapped at her door. Who would be visiting her at this hour? She cast a final, defeated look to her reflection, and raced to answer the door. A quick look through the peephole revealed Eunbi, dressed more casually than Seohyun in her pyjamas, and with her eyes darting around.
"What-" Seohyun was whispering before the door was even open. She fumbled with the latches, chipping one of her nails, and finally yanked it open, tugging her fiance inside. "What are you doing here?" she breathed nervously. Her hands fluttered over the woman's shoulders worriedly, stopping only to cup her face. "Why aren't you sleeping?"
Time seemed to have passed rather fast at the party. The people there had proved to be better company and distraction than Eunbi had expected. And yet she had found herself taking in a few more drinks than she probably should have. Anything to lighten the mood of the night a little, she had thought to herself. And her precious LeDeux were all there with her, ensuring she didn't go too overboard. They had even helped her back to the hotelroom after so that she could take what she thought of as a well earned shower.
But there was still something that didn't sit right with her as she crawled her freshly washed body to bed. She had wanted to celebrate this win with one more person; one even more than the three she had begun to consider her family. The soft fabrics of her bedsheets quickly found themselves entangled between her legs and arms, a constricting mess that did just enough to convince her drunken mind of a single dream:
Of being held by her lover as she closed her eyes.
"We won, Hyunnie," she whispered to herself, a saddened smile upon her lips as she touched the 'arm' around her waist. Bad move... It just made the fakeness seem all the more obvious. Hopefully sleep would come to her fast. And then all this could be behind them.
That was if she could sleep.
There were many things here eyes were doing (crying for the most part), but sleeping was not one of them. She caught herself sobering up after what must have been an hour. Maybe two. She wasn't sure. Most sounds of partying and people going back to their hotelrooms had seemed to settle by the time she swung her legs back out of bed. Perhaps she could talk to her? She had been busy, yes. But surely that was done with for now?
Who else would bother her fiancée at this hour but her?
Throwing on a large t-shirt and some comfortable shorts, Eunbi peeked her head out of the door to check that the coast was clear. Even with a bit of alcohol left in her system she knew what had to be done to make sure her little excursion to Seohyun's room did not go noticed. She hid herself as someone passed by, waiting until they were gone before hurrying to the elevator. One step closer. Luckily the floor the CEOs had stayed on was more barren. Fewer people were walking around, making the little sprint over the carpeted floor rather quick.
"Seohyun-sunbaenim?" Her voice was hushed as she knocked on the door, frantically looking to either end of the corridor outside.
@♊︎ kwon eunbi ᴱᵘⁿ 'Sunbaenim' echoed in Seohyun's mind like a broken record, looping continuously just to torture her. It was what she deserved for letting her fiance slip through her fingers. She didn't snap back to reality until the click of the door finalized Eunbi's departure. Seohyun stared at her reflection in the mirror in disdain, hating the dress all the more knowing that she didn't deserve to wear it.
Her phone buzzed and pinged anew, and Seohyun resisted the urge to whip it into the toilet. There was a headache throbbing at her temples that was only growing as the night stretched. Begrudgingly, she hung her clutch over her arm, and texted on her way out the door. Business was business... Eunbi would understand... Right?
@❖ seo joohyun ˢᵉᵒʰʸᵘⁿ “You know me well enough that I would never allow anyone to see me,” Eun cooed softly, a hint of bashfulness in her voice. “You are my everything. I would never let this all chase up on you and ruin anything. It is too important.” She paused for a second when the zipper was fully up, trailing a finger along the hemline of the dress. “I would love to meet up again after, if you have the time for me.”
She knew Seohyun would look stunning even before she turned around. But despite being prepared she was biting into her bottom lip as she took in the full sight. God, what had she done in life to ever have deserved someone as perfect as her? With Seohyun by her side she would never need another gallery again. Who would with the most stunning piece of art wanting to share their life with you?
Her gaze quickly turned down to the ring on her hand, gently playing with it with her thumb as Seohyun immediately was back on their next move. She knew why. Her fiancée had a lot on her mind, and when in business mode little else got through. She had hoped to share some compliments together before it all, but that seemed to have to wait. Which was fine.
She could bite down the excitement for a few hours.
“I should probably leave first,” Eunbi answered with a quick nod. “It would be more suspicious if I left your room second. That way I can go and meet up with the rest of the group before we go to the afterparty.” She got up and made a rather official bow before heading for the door, ensuring to state loudly enough as she stood in the doorway: “Thank you for your help, sunbaenim. I will keep working on these songs.” And without looking back, not wanting Seohyun to see the sad look in her eyes, she walked back away to the elevator.
@♊︎ kwon eunbi ᴱᵘⁿ Seohyun listened with bated breath, not even sure why she was freaking out. This wouldn't be the first time Eunbi had snuck into her room, at a hotel or other. They had the art of sneaking around mastered. She was grateful to the efforts of her close friends and family for helping her keep the secret, as it was truly the most wonderful secret the universe had ever brought her, but in that moment, Seohyun forgot. She chewed on the inside of her cheek, her phone dinging again, and turned around to allow Eunbi to finish zipping her up.
"Well, as long as no one saw you. We'll have to stagger our arrivals to the after party, but we can meet up again in my room later if you want," Seohyun said.
With her bust secured in the tight corset (a little too tight, she noted bitterly), she was ready to go face the storm that awaited her. She needed to find Tiffany to discuss things further too... Seohyun's mind rolled a thousand thoughts a second, and when she turned around, she surprised herself again with Eunbi. "Right," she sighed, fanning a hand at her face. "Which one of us leaves first?"
@❖ seo joohyun ˢᵉᵒʰʸᵘⁿ Eunbi had little option but to sigh in response, knowing how much Seohyun had on her shoulder. There was the press, the PR, the idols themselves and managing all the bookings. Then there was the whole act of always looking fancy and presentable, ensuring she herself also fit the role she played when not in view; no matter how much time that ate of her actual work.
She hurried over to her fianceé's side, ready to help zip her up. Her fingers were barely on the zipper, her gaze distracted by the view of the her fianceé in the window reflecting back at her; gorgeous as the stars in the nightsky themselves. It was enough to not make her fully conscious of the way Seohyun had turned to her before she heard her voice again. Eunbi's eyes flicked over to look at her through the blonde bangs that had messily tussled in her face.
"W-well, I... I walked up here, making sure I looked around to not be seen and then made it sound official at the door. As if it was a meeting," she hurriedly explained, a small smile on her lips beaming from the pride of her own smart thinking.
@♊︎ kwon eunbi ᴱᵘⁿ The light kiss to Seohyun's cheek jolted her into the present for a moment. She glanced to her fiance, dressed head to toe in glamorous blue, and sighed. "I don't have time to take time for myself. The schedule is booked from here until forever, and-" She plucked the dress from the bag, fanning it out and frowning. This wasn't the colour she'd wanted. It was meant to be red. Why was it blue? She pinched the bridge of her nose with a frown, forcing herself to breathe.
"There is a media nightmare waiting for me once this is all over," she muttered to Eun while exhaling. "Help me into this, please?" Seohyun started shrugging out of her shirt, tossing it to the bed to slide into the dress. With the off-shoulder straps pulled up, she supported her chest, and turned around to let the other zip it up. "Wait-" she twisted away at the last second. "How did you get up here without anyone seeing you?"
@❖ seo joohyun ˢᵉᵒʰʸᵘⁿ She was not certain how much of what she had said had actually reached through to Seohyun, evident enough in the tired expression on her face. Eunbi didn't fault her... Not really at least. But there was also no denying the sting she felt in her chest when her fiancee suddenly yanked her hand back from her grip, hurrying to prep the dress for the party.
Eun sighed, pausing a little before getting up from the bed to help her out. She herself was already dressed, having had her outfit picked out by Jessica and her sister before they had even left for this excursion. They had said something about a united front when they presented all of LeDeux with blue outfits. Not that she would complain. She liked the dress.
Feathering a light kiss on her fiancee's cheek before plucking the dress from her hands, she did as best she could to ease the tension in the air. "You still have time, Hyunnie," she calmly told her, working her nimble fingers to undo the stuck zipper. "You'll look beautiful and dazzle everyone but-" It finally came loose, zipping down fully before she handed it over. "Take time for yourself too."
@♊︎ kwon eunbi ᴱᵘⁿ Seohyun's phoned pinged faster than she could think. She'd long since silenced the notification noises; the various bleeps, bloops and woohoos would have driven her mad otherwise. She swiped her thumb across the screen to reject an incoming call ('Ahn Heejin (Reporter)'). A loud sigh heaved off of Seohyun's lips, most of what Eunbi had said going over her head.
The light touch of her wrist clicked in thirty seconds too late. She blinked at her fiance, then swept a quick look around the room.
"What time is it?" Seohyun muttered, glancing at her phone again. "!" She yanked her wrist from Eunbi's fingers, threw her phone on the bed, and grabbed for the dress still wrapped in the laundromat bag. The zipper got stuck as she ripped it down and more curses fell from her lips. "Babe," she panted after a mighty (and embarrassing struggle), "Can you help me with this?"
@❖ seo joohyun ˢᵉᵒʰʸᵘⁿ The door clicked shut almost as soon as it opened, having just made it possible for Eunbi to slip inside. A bright smile was plastered on her lips as she closed the door, a relieved sigh leaving them as she leaned against the wall. But the air inside was not nearly what she had expected. Though her fiancé looked rather adorable in her oversized tee and with her glasses resting on the perfect bridge of her nose, it was hard to not notice the furrowed brows and strained lips. It was only further cemented as she spoke, answering as if Eunbi’s excuse outside had been her real intentions for coming.
“Babe… I-“ The words were stammered out as Eunbi’s face slowly warped to a worried pout. Was it what had happened at the red carpet? No question it would bring a lot of attention, but it was not often she saw Seohyun like this. Pushing down the exploding fireworks within her, Eunbi ensured it was bottled and contained before walking closer, gently placing a hand on her fiancé’s wrist. “Hyunnie…” Worry laced between each syllable of the nickname, making no effort to hide that Eunbi was trying. “Call Tiff and say you can’t go. If work is this messy I’m sure she’d understand…” If that was even a possibility. She was far too small of a piece on this board to know what Seohyun could or couldn’t do. All she knew was what her fiancé might need: A night off and good cuddles.
@♊︎ kwon eunbi ᴱᵘⁿ What a night. What a ing night. Seohyun was about pulling her hair while pacing in her hotel room. The cellphone that chained her to her job was buzzing nonstop with reports on Solar's fall on the red carpet. Reporters were begging for interviews with their winning artists, and her coworkers were all hitting reply all on e-mails that didn't need a reply all on. Seohyun had shrugged out of her evening gown from the awards show and was standing in nothing but an oversized t-shirt when there was a prompt knock at the door.
"Huh?" she muttered to herself, blinking through her glasses. "Oh, come in. Hurry."
Seohyun's back was turned to the door when Eunbi walked in, the awkwardness of the formal greeting lost on her as she ran her fingers through her hair with another sigh. "Can we discuss the songs later? I'm kind of busy right now, and I still haven't even changed for the after party that Tiff is demanding I make an appearance at." Her thumbs typed furiously at her phone, not even a glance spared to her dolled up fiancé.
@❖ seo joohyun ˢᵉᵒʰʸᵘⁿ [ Backdated to the 2024 Llunar Festival Awards, right after the main show - Hongdae Hotel ]
Eunbi had never moved so fast in her life. Despite all the energy she had used during the show and performances, there was one person’s excitement still driving her. Seohyun. Even if the day had been hectic she wanted to celebrate it with her fiancee, for it had gone beyond just good. They had just barely debuted and they already had two awards under their belt. Surely that would be good thing for the future of the group and the company. A promise to the fans that they would develop great music from the get go.
Her stop by the hotelroom had been brief, wanting only to shower off the sweat of the stagelights before beelining it through the hallways towards the room she had seen Seohyun be posted in. Her eyes kept scanning around to ensure no one followed before lifting her hand to quickly knock on the door.
“CEO-nim, it’s Kwon Eunbi. Could I ask for a moment of your time, please?”
God, that felt weird. She had not talked to her fiancee like that often, but even in her excitement she knew they had to keep things on the down low. “I wanted to discuss some future songs.” Or just sing drunken karaoke together to celebrate. There was very little about her that had actually wanted to talk about business now.
@❖ seo joohyun ˢᵉᵒʰʸᵘⁿ Oh no, not that tone. Eunbi could already feel her legs get shaky from the seductive purr of Seohyun's voice. The connotations of the price she wanted to cash in was not lost on her and it was tempting, but so was the idea of the detour. Seohyun had spiked her curiosity. And yet, the second she felt her girlfriend's lips press passionately to her own she knew there was no contest. She would have done anything for her for one of these kisses alone.
"U-huh." Eunbi's eyes struggled to focus back on her girlfriend as she saw her begin the process of hailing a cab. It luckily did not take long, for Seohyun's actions had already awoken the needy hunger within her. Her foot was tapping impatiently the whole drive back, eyes on absolutely anything but Seohyun. She'd lose that battle within a heartbeat.
"Mind it?" she asked with a small scoff, hurrying to hop out of the car only to receive a loving tap on her behind. A small moan escaped her before she could stop it, causing her to freeze a bit with a bashful expression on her face. "Lets just hurry in, this dress itches," Eunbi whined, pressing herself to Seohyun's side.
@♊︎ kwon eunbi ᴱᵘⁿ "You know what, on second thought..." Seohyun purrs quietly, sneaking her hands over Eunbi's waist to pull her flush into her in one fell swoop. "I think I'd like to cash in my prize at home..." She throws another quick glance to confirm they're alone, and captures her girlfriend's lips in a sensual kiss. Her tongue sneaks out to taste the remnants of champagne off the woman's lips. And as she pulls away, she nips at the other's lip, tugging it gently between her teeth before releasing.
"Mmhmm... I'm taking you home." Seohyun was a woman of determination, and once she declared it, she made it happen. The taxi was hailed not long after. It took every ounce of reservation left in her to not sneak a hand under Eunbi's skirts and begin the real party early. The taxi driver couldn't be trusted after all... But the moment she spotted her building, with its lighted windows all neatly lined, and the familiar doorman waiting out front, she felt that impatience grow again. "I hope you don't mind my hastiness," she apologizes to Eunbi while opening up the door to help her out. "I am just incredibly hungry," she punctuates with devious tap to her girlfriend's . The taxi is gone behind them, and Seohyun snakes an arm around the other's waist. "Ready to go up?"
@❖ seo joohyun ˢᵉᵒʰʸᵘⁿ Eunbi let out a little whine as she hurried after her girlfriend, both admiring her cheeky grin and cursing her sly mind at the same time. “Fine,” she huffed in stubborn defeat as she finally got to join up with her, their fingers linking together into a comforting grip. “I owe you a prize. It is your special night after all, I guess I would have let you win anyways.” She wrinkled her nose at her girlfriend before letting out a little huff, lisp curling up in a smile.
“The bed sounds extremely tempting,” the younger hummed, trying her best to ignore the tipsy wobble of the world around them. That champagne really snuck up on her. “But how could I not want to make a detour if you’re going to be all teasing like that?” Eunbi gave a glance around before placing her arms around Seohyun’s neck, shielding themselves from view as she pecked her lips. “Last detour gave me a rooftop view of the city. If it is aaanything like that, I’m sold.”
@♊︎ kwon eunbi ᴱᵘⁿ It was a literal breath of fresh air as Seohyun raced back to the temperate weather of the outdoors. She knew Eunbi was hot at her heels, but Seohyun was a winner, and even though she cheated, she was going to relish this victory. Her hand bag swings playfully in front of her off the tips of her manicured fingers, her smile as devilish as the movement. "Ooppssss~ looks like my woman has lost the race~ and now she owes me a prizeeeee!" she sings across the sidewalk to Eunbi.
When they're finally rejoined, she takes a quick look around to make sure their alone, linking their fingers together for a welcome touch. "But first... Do you want to go home, or do you want to take a detour? I know it's late butttt... It could be fun~?"
@❖ seo joohyun ˢᵉᵒʰʸᵘⁿ Despite knowing the moment was technically over, Eunbi stood there quietly, a tiny smile upon her lips. If only she could convey how much these moments meant to her, even if they were cut short or snubbed by something coming up. Just having a few seconds alone to kiss her made every day so much brighter, as if Seohyun’s lips alone could chase away both worries and anxiety.
Her eyes closed as her girlfriend reached up, her cheek pressing against her palm to take in whatever she could get before this moment too passed. The touch of her hand alone would be enough to carry her through the rest of the party. The little kiss at the end helped too. She let out a surprised sound, eyes opening back up to look at her girlfriend, wide as if she was seeing the northern lights. How could anyone ever be so perfect?
The rest of the party passed with Eunbi mostly quiet. She exchanged a few whispered words with Tiffany and Jessica between speeches, but remained still for the most part otherwise. It was only when she noticed Seohyun glancing over to her that she sneakily reached out with her foot, gently brushing it along her calf to signify that she was okay.
She had no clue what time it was when people had finally began leaving for their coats, but soon found herself swept into the same path when Seohyun passed her with a small whisper. A smile spread back on her lips as she snuck after, keeping to the sides of the room to not draw attention. “H-hey, unfair, you’re already ahead!” Eunbi hurriedly whispershouted after her girlfriend, just having gotten her coat in hand.
@♊︎ kwon eunbi ᴱᵘⁿ Seohyun noted the disappointment that loitered on her girlfriend's face, and held back a scorning frown of her own. Her annoyance was directed entirely at herself, as she was usually the one having to interrupt and raincheck these precious few moments they shared. She tucks a strand of hair back behind Eunbi's ear, caressing her cheek for as many moments as time permits. "We're going back down," she concurs, sneaking in a final kiss.
With that, there's no other choice left to pick. The duo are forced to rejoin the party downstairs. Seohyun admits that it passes gratingly slow. With every speech, every conversation, she finds herself glancing more and more at Eunbi. When the night finally draws tired, and everyone begins resigning themselves, she's one of the first to respectfully excuse herself. "Quick, before anyone notices we're leaving," she whispers excitedly to Eunbi. She'd give anything to take her hand and drag her across the room, but their act wasn't quite over. They make it to coat check successfully, and Seohyun is still dragging hers over her shoulders while she beelines for the exit. "Last one there's owes the other a prize~" she calls playfully as she trots off, a laugh floating over her flowing hair and towards Eunbi.
