⚜ No Man's Land

@⚜ ♕ Emily Mei  Moving through the heavy, forgotten forest, the celestial being made her way through the rocks and hills in her black cloak. Having traveled far enough and by looking at her compass, she knew she was getting close to No Man's Land - the refuge for Hybrids. It was a sad predicament that this realm had depicted mixed creatures in such a way that they needed to be separated from their own kind- that the physical barrier were enough to create mental ones, and hence species could barley co exist. And while Barbara didn't know the whole future, she saw something very special that was at risk for being something very dark, and she wouldn't allow it to get to a level of unnecessary bloodshed.
Coming upon broken up buildings, the angel had a feeling she was drawing near. She pulled down her cloak from around her face to reveal her braided back hair and sharp features, looking about for any signs of life. She wouldn't be surprised if those of the community were hiding from strangers while they could help it, after all she knew just how unforgiving someones could be.

@⚜ ♕ Emily Mei  Her head perks up as she saw tools she could use to make a small hut for them, "Perfect!" She finished her food before she used her lightning speed to grab the tools, she already gathered almost dead woods and other resources when she was hunting. She collected clays and rocks to use for the foundation and bamboos for the walls, with her superhuman speed she gets the job done before dusting her both hands, "Here you go! One hut fit for two people!" Seungwan smiles at her. As her powers almost at her limit, it gave a warning on her collar which made a small ground her body making her stinged in pain and her nose bled a bit. "Oh shoot." She's only a hybrid with a limited ability to do whatever she wants.

@⚜ Son Seungwan ¥ With a nod of a head, Emily joined her at the fireplace taking her seat by the other hybrid. "Good morning to you, too, Seungwan. Thank you for breakfast." She hums into the first bite of the eggs, listening to what the other said. She was glad that her healing powers is working with how resources here is in a much better state than when she first arrived. "Mmm speaking of resources," Emi reached towards a bag of tools that she was able to get her hands on through scavenging and trade earlier in the morning when she went back to the main land, "Tools as promised. If there's something that is missing, please let me know so I can find it for you. Money for me is not a problem." She winked before grabbing the hare meat by hand taking a bite into it happily. "If you know any other hybrids, please send them my way. I would like to strengthen and grow this home."

@⚜ ♕ Emily Mei  "Good morning to you, Your Highne-- I mean, Emily!" Seungwan smiled at her before looking at the other before giving her a plate of fried eggs and hare meat, "Here you go, breakfast for the both of us." She told her, "That's all I could catch for now, but No Man's Land has sustainable resources we need to make buildings here." Then looks at the fruits. "They're quite plump and right on the ripe! We could eat it as a dessert!" She chuckles.

@⚜ Son Seungwan ¥ At the first sight of sunrise, Emily quietly gotten up to start venturing a little deeper into the land. There were visions that she's seeing to which she would love to bring back to life and see it thrive once more. With each barefoot step against the motherland, Emily took in each building and houses that shall take it's spot once she's finished. The smell of food caught her attention drawing her back to the middle of town. "oh." She watches from the entrance of the building. "Good morning. That smells delicious." Emily sets her goodies of fruits down from the savaging. "I found some fresh berries to go along with it. All washed by the stream east of here." She took a seat by the other enjoying the warmth of the fire.

@⚜ ♕ Emily Mei  In the morning, Seungwan wakes up early and looks around to look for Emily. However, her stomach grumbles makes her feel like she had to cook breakfast for the two of them. She went to the fireplace and it's a good thing that the sun's ray was shining on the fireplace, the hybrid gets her magnifying glass and points at the unburnt part of the twig which made a smoke and eventually went to flames. She smiled and went to look for food in the vicinity of the land, this is what she's good at, hunting and making traps, her intelligent mind was passed down from her father and used it to survived. After that, she caught two matured rabbit and a nest of quail's eggs, perfect for a primitive breakfast then she starts cooking them.

@⚜ Son Seungwan ¥ Curiosity got the best of Emily as she sat up straighter looking at the other hybrid. "And what is that you are good at? You kept saying tools. What is your powers?" Giving the other hand a light squeeze, Emily gave her a reassuring smile, on that she is now determined to kick with. "Hope can make or break you. I'm excited that in this case, it's making us stronger." Using her fire power, Emily dimmed the fireplace down to a soft hue. "Please, get some rest. You took quite a fall." She grabbed her bag. "I'll see you in the morning and we'll strategize a plan."

@⚜ ♕ Emily Mei  "I'm hoping you or other masters will buy me, I'm almost good at what I'm doing." Seungwan told her before she smiled and takes her hand, "Just now, you gave me light of hope, Emily. I thank you for that." Then she slowly yawns and rubs her eyes a bit, "However, I'm starting to get sleepy."

@⚜ Son Seungwan ¥ "even with honorifics from my time on earth, I never really liked it. But if you must in front of others, then I shall allow it." Emily listen to her concern. That was something that she was glad she never got roped into. "I'm sure someone will bid on you and help free you, love." She reached over to pat her shoulder. "if you need me to, let me know. I'll try to work hard if I need to get more money to free you from the slave contract." Glad to see that her efforts won't go to waste, Emily held out a hand towards her. "It's an honor to have you here in No Man's Land, Seungwan."

@⚜ ♕ Emily Mei  She looked up at her and smiles before nodding, "Okay, Emily. It's just a protocol for us slaves to address you with honorifics as royals." She explained to her. "But even though with that protocol, I never got bought by the masters." She rubbed her nape before sighing, "Anyway, since we're both hybrids in this land we both found, I can set my foot and hammer it down here, I will solemnly swear to protect this land at all cost." Swears it fealty towards the princess with a proud smile on her face.

@⚜ Son Seungwan ¥ "oh god. please. No need to bow." Emily quickly moved over to help her up. Although it would be good practice for future, she didn't like it knowing that this is a friend of hers that she meet before officially being a princess. "Seungwan-ah. Just Emily is fine." She sat by her in the ground placing a hand over the other head as she continue to bow. Her healing power taking on some of Seungwan worries as it ripples through her body. "If you would like to help, all I ask is you respect the land we're on and find more people like us to make this place a home." Her vision is for hybrids to find peace in No Man's Land. To find the power they have to overcome hardships that is thrown at them. And most importantly, for Hybrids to feel like themselves rather than outcasted for being a mixed species.

@⚜ ♕ Emily Mei  Seungwan gasped and quickly bows to her, kneeling in front of her. "It's an honor to serve you, Your Highness!" She greeted with courtesy towards Emily, "I will do anything you asked me, Princess! Anything!" The hybrid added as she kept kneeling in front of her, heads down. She couldn't believed it, a hybrid princess in front of her, is this the time for the hybrids like her to step up in the society?

@⚜ Son Seungwan ¥ "Stable houses....I believe I can help you with that." It's shouldn't be that hard since she knew just enough from a previous timeline. Emily's lips curl upward as she watch Seungwan realized who she is. "That's right." Her hand touched against the ground that has definitely become more stable since she came up on it. "I'd like to say, the land found me. But yes, I'm Princess Emily. Royalty of No Man's Land, home to hybrids." She declared proudly as she gotten more confident with her title. "please just call me Emily. Status isnt much of a concern for me."

@⚜ ♕ Emily Mei  "Right, I know how to make a hut for now. I need instructions to make really stable houses." She sighs and looks at Emily, "Wait, if you found this land then... You're already a royalty?" The half-kitsune pointed at her before blinking, trying to make everything sensible since Seungwan never served a royalty before.

@⚜ Son Seungwan ¥ The flicker of hope in Seungwan eyes was enough to push Emily in the direction that she needs to go. With a warm smiles, Emile holds out a hand to Seungwan. "It'll be an honor to have your help. Hybrids needs a palace that they can be themselves so....let's make that happen." Emily looked at her bag of tools. "We can do that in the morning. For now. You need to rest."

@⚜ ♕ Emily Mei  Seungwan looked at the other with hopes in her eyes as she was welcomed by the hybrid, "Then let me help you rebuild this land." She offered and looked at the sight in front of them. "I can make a wood, I just need some tools for this job and we can build your house here." The hybrid added.

@⚜ Son Seungwan ¥ Emily fixed the blanket around Seungwan rubbing her back gently as she listen to the other. This is why she wants to make No Man's Land a safe place. For people like them who lost their family and can't seem to fit into one race. "Mmm it seems like an opportunity portal opened up for you to find here like I did." Giving her arms a light squeeze, Emily inhale deeply contemplating but eventually just told her. "Seungwan, your welcome to make your new home here. Hybrids been outcast too long and.....I believe this land is in need of being remembered so it opened up for us." Emily stood up looking at her proud of where she sees No Man's Land going forward. "Welcome home to No Man's Land, a place for hybrids and those in need of a home."

@⚜ ♕ Emily Mei  "Your land?" Seungwan blinks and looks around as the other added that it was already discovered by the other but in ruins. Then she looked back at the other "No Man's Land?" She asked again, "I left Kirin's Peak few days ago... There's no one waiting me there..." The hybrid looked down as her only home there has burned down by a culprit who also killed both of her parents. "I don't know where to go, I don't want to go back to the Slave Quarters too since he knows I'm already there so I want to find a new home, away from getting killed and getting in trouble..." She explained her situation.

@⚜ Son Seungwan ¥ Emily pushes her hair away from her place. "This is my land. The Earth let's me know when something interrupted it's healing." She took a small warm towel handing it to her. "Plus, that wasn't a good land that you did." Taking a sip of her tea basking in the heat from the fire place. "How did you find No Man's Land? I didn't think anyone would find there way here." Emily picked up the teapot with more tea. "Would you like more? It seems like the food is helping.

@⚜ ♕ Emily Mei  She groaned and her sight is still blurry but she could tell that it was Emily, "H-How..." Seungwan muttered and looked at the other. "How did you find me here...?" She asked the other before slowly sitting up and takes the small sandwich and gently eats it, the sandwich tastes good and it really did healed the little wound on her temple.

@⚜ Son Seungwan ¥ Emily helped moved her to a secured building, letting the fireplace run as she heat up some water and food for the other. "What in the world....how did she find this place?" Mumbling to herself, Emily didn't seem to notice Seungwan awake, only to be alerted by her orbs making her face the other. "Hey. Careful." She grabbed a small towel dabbing at the other forehead before handing her a traveling cup and a small fruit sandwich. "Eat up. It'll heal you." She promised as her healing power always seemed to work best in food.

@⚜ ♕ Emily Mei  The hybrid is still unconscious after the fall and the wound was only a minor one but it did made Seungwan unconscious because of the impact. Eventually, she woke up when the warmth of the fireplace, the half-human half-kitsune slowly opened her eyes and felt the pounding feeling on her head before touching her temples. "Ugh, what happened?" She muttered and looked around but only sees a fireplace in front of her, it was already night time.

@⚜ Son Seungwan ¥ Emily sat up from her spot upon hearing another voice nearby. A million things ran through her mind, all the worst possible outcome out ranked the good one. Switching into her Kitsune form, she mad her way towards the noise only to see a familiar face that she have not seen in a long time. Her orbs first approached Seungwan to let her know that Emily was near before stepping out from behind a broke down pillar in her human form. "Seungwan?" Emily finally showed herself calling her orbs back as she looked at the other. "What are you doing here? Are you hurt?" She approached the other carefully.

Seungwan travelled to the unknown land, she had to get away from the central and Kirin Peak because something is trying to spy on her upon her parents' deaths. She fixed her backpack full of clothes but her supplies of foods were no more, she had consume them for days of travelling and it wasn't enough for this trip. The hybrid looked around the area and it seems it was once a beautiful land lived, she might build a new home here but there are no people, nor a source of materials she could. Once she sees ruptured stairs, she went down on it but suddenly slipped, "Ah-!" Seungwan groans as she fell down the eroded stairs and bumped her head against the piece of rock, making her instantly unconscious as she fell.

Emily ran through the portals, carrying some of her favorite little trinkets for a spell that she learned. "alright, Em. Let's get to rebuilding and healing this home." Finding what was once the center of this town, smile cleared out a spot as she took a seat opening wrapped ingredients and placing it in front of her. "where is that paper...'" the instruction was right in front of her floating playfully. Citing the spell quietly at first, her eyes closed before slowly citing it louder and louder as she grabbed the ingredients sparking a small kitsune fire around each item causing the grind to tremble a bit

She didn't know when she got here or why she followed her orbs here but nonetheless, Emily stood in the middle of this new land after playfully jumping through portal realms at the kitsune woodlands temple. "Well....is this what you been meaning to show me?" She question her black orbs as her red ones dances along the overgrown vegetations. Kneeling to the ground, she closed her eyes touching a palm to the ground, feeling the history of this No Man's land that was once thriving and rich in terms of the many cultures here. Nothing like she had seen before. Even down to the very downfall of its people, did it still try and stand strong against growth. For Emily though, the vegetation with the abandoned fixtures seems to make it homey for her as her block orbs starts to bring life to the vegetation making it look for healthier. "Okay. We'll heal you slowly." She whisper to the mother earth of No man's land. "You'll be good as new again. I promise." She stood up to explore more around following her little orbs as she ran her fingers along the walls energizing what she can making her smile grow bigger and bigger as she was definitely grown in terms of her healing powers. "This....this shall be home soon. I can feel it." She took a glance at the portal between the Kitsune Woodlands and this new found land.
