@☼ kim hanbin It was a rare first for Pixie when she was in front of Hanbin to be speechless as she was. Yet there she was, knees knocking while she leaned into his embrace anew. Her hands unfolded from the tight fists they'd clenched into, fingers splaying across his chest where wrinkles were fluttering to the back of her mind. With nowhere else to look, Pixie looked up, catching Hanbin's gaze. A timid smile stretched over her blushed face. "How long, would you say?" she teased. She held one finger between them. "One day?" She held up another finger. "Two?"

Instead of counting to three she lowered her hand sheepishly to rest on his chest again. She didn't want to think about what happened next. About the details of having to maintain a relationship outside of a prying public eye. The party continued on without them. They were safe here in their hiding spot. Pixie wanted this night to never end. "C-can..." She turned her head to the side in embarrassment. "Can we do it again?"

@❅ jung eunbi ᵖᶦˣᶦᵉ The girl went on but Hanbin's brain was barely registering the words anymore as he'd been too focused on the one thing he'd wanted to do for months. The one thing he'd finally been able to build up the courage to do. Eunbi took a short moment to react, but once she did and he felt her leaning further into him, his arms immediately lowered to rest on her hips, his grip light on her smaller body but still making sure to keep her close to him. As her lips moved against his own he could feel the electricity that spread all the way down to his toes. It might not have been the first time he kissed someone, but it was the first time he kissed *her* so it felt new and exhilarating.

He felt her cling to him and his own fingertips tightened around her before he finally pulled away, eyes slowly flickering open to lock into hers in expectation, almost as if waiting for her to say something, unsure of what to say himself. Thankfully for him, she spoke up first, her eyes avoiding him nearly entirely whether it was conscious or not. He would've worried whether he'd made her uncomfortable if it weren't for the girl's words and the small glint he could see in her eyes, knowing it was probably mirrored in his own as well. His heart jumped a little at the words but before he could respond she let go, her apology ripping a genuine chuckle from his lips as he was reminded yet again of one of the many reasons she'd managed to rent a spot in his mind and heart. "That is the least of my worries right now" In response, he instead pulled her back into him, offering a small smile, his eyes fluttering shortly to her lips, shiny and still tainted with the lipstick she'd been wearing for the night, before climbing back to her orbs. "I like you too" He confessed quietly, the small shy smile still covering his lips, though all she needed to know was likely written all over his eyes and face. "Had been wanting to do that for a while"

@☼ kim hanbin Pixie was babbling to fill the silence that followed her confession. Her cheeks were flushed crimson from embarrassment and heat, and her fingers twisted over the rings that decorated them to keep her focused. "I know I probably could have just texted or called you more - or like, I could have asked you to hang out - but I didn't want to bother you /especially/ after they didn't even give you the role after the auditio- mmf-" Whatever she was meant to say next was swallowed, along with her lips. Pixie hadn't even noticed Hanbin leaning in, too nervous to look him in the eye this entire time, and now, he was kissing her.

Hanbin was kissing her and it was like a million songbirds chorusing together and flying away with Pixie on their wings. She was weightless in his grasp. Once the initial shock rolled away along with the tension in her body, she sank into his embrace. Fidgeting fingers clutched at the front of his suit and she stretched at her toes, wishing for the moment to last forever. Eventually, they separated for air, and Pixie still stuttered to maintain eye contact, wondering if any of this was true. She managed flickering glances while fumbling for words. "I-I - that was- you were - this is - I-I really liked that- no, I like you- " She unhooked her hands from his clothes like she'd been electrocuted. "Oh - I - I wrinkled your suit - oh no- I'm sorry!"

@❅ jung eunbi ᵖᶦˣᶦᵉ Their surroundings missed him entirely and for a moment she felt a little too close, almost as if- His brain was flipping a little and he wasn't entirely sure whether he'd imagined it, if it was his own fantasies playing tricks on him, or if she'd actually leaned in a little closer than one usually would. He inhaled slowly and finally pulled away once he felt he'd held on a little too long, though his palms lingered a little longer over her waist as he slowly let them fall to his sides. "We did, but tonight we're celebrating Artist of the Year" He repeated proudly, his eyes searching for hers a little as the girl seemed to glance around them for a moment. He felt her fingers slip into his and finally lowered his gaze as well once he was tugged further away by her. He was still thinking back to the previous moment, allowing her to lead the way swiftly between the people until they arrived at a more quiet and secluded spot.

Before anything else could be said, she was in his arms again, and he lifted her up a little, inhaling the scent of her perfume mixed in with the sweetness of the products used by the stylists. As they pull away again, she speaks once more but her eyes seem to avoid him. He'd missed her too, but he doesn't immediately respond as he breathed in slowly trying to figure out what he wanted to do. In fact, he knew exactly what he wanted to do, it was just that for the longest time he hadn't been sure if he should do it. Yet, his confidence right now had been a little boosted thanks to what could've simply been a product of his own imagination. Pushing that possibility to the back of his mind, he swallowed down the nervousness and made up his mind for once. Bringing his hand back up to the girl's cheek, he finally leaned in, slowly, to give the girl a chance to back out before his lips were pressed to hers in a much-wanted, desperately needed, and long-awaited kiss.

@☼ kim hanbin Fireworks were popping in Pixie's mind, her heart was hammering in her chest, and she forgot how to breathe. Hanbin's hands were warm over her own, and when he swept her into him in celebration, she felt like she was falling through the sky. Her adrenaline fueled free-fall muted all reservations she'd held for a moment, and she fell excitedly into his arms, ready to embrace him in a full kiss only to realize where they were and pull back at the last second with a nervous laugh. "You're one to talk!" she trilled, her senses returned and the embarrassment settling in. "Janus did great as well!" She lingered in the middle of the crowd with him until curious guests began to whisper about them, wondering why they blocked the path so openly. Feeling flushed again, Pixie slipped her hands into Hanbin's and skirted the edges of the crowd and into a more reserved corner.

Breathless, and with her pulse racing, she found them a tucked away spot of the after party where they were half-hidden by drapes. Her shame at going in so openly for a kiss still nagged at her, but she threw herself in Hanbin's arms for a proper hug anyway. "I missed you," she confessed meekly when she pulled away, averting her gaze. "I'm really happy to see you again."

@❅ jung eunbi ᵖᶦˣᶦᵉ As usual, the girl's smile was contagious. Not that it was needed when just being in her presence was enough to keep his smile for most of the day, sometimes even the next few days. Her excited voice drew him right to her and he was quick to push his way over, finally standing face-to-face with her after the past few hours. He let out a quiet chuckle of his own, motioning behind him with his head where he'd separated from the rest of his group. "Was with the guys for a little bit, but couldn't wait to find you and congratulate you!" He continued, his own tone reflecting his joy and he reached forward, placing his palms over her hands and taking Eunbi's warm cheeks in them as he looked her in the eyes. "You did it Pix!" With those words he pulled her into him, his arms smoothly falling lower on her body and wrapping around her slim waist tightly. He could feel his own heart thumping loudly both in excitement for her achievement tonight, and also due to the feeling of exhilaration that seemed to be a constant whenever he was with her. A feeling he was quite familiar with by now and could recognize quite well.

@☼ kim hanbin None of it felt real to Pixie. When her name had been called as the winner, she'd sat there in shock until someone nudged her. This was her reality. All this hard work, and the blood, sweat and (infinite) tears she'd spent were finally being recognized. She could hardly remember her speech, and when she sat down again, she felt like the whole world was spinning and like her dress was too tight. Pixie was still buzzing when the crowd began dispersing, most heading to the after party. Being so short, she became quickly lost in the larger venue they moved to. She stretched onto the tippiest of toes, begging her heels to be worth it, searching for a familiar face. A familiar voice found her instead. "Oppa?" Pixie muttered, swinging her head until she spotted him winding through the cloistered bodies. "Oppa!" She waved an arm over her head emphatically, the wide smile splitting across her face inevitable.

With a few hops and a bounce, Pixie broke into a clearing in the crowd, in time to meet Hanbin, who looked as handsome as he had when she'd first bumped into him that evening. Oh gosh, the scandalous thought was making her blush. Shoot, did he notice how red she was? She covered her cheeks with her hands, laughing. "I didn't see you before! Where were you hiding?"

@❅ jung eunbi ᵖᶦˣᶦᵉ The ceremony was long and they were kept at their tables for most of it, save when they were to perform or to recieve an award, hence, he didn't really get much of a chance to congratulate Eunbi on her /huge/ win tonight. He hadn't the words when the girl's name was called and she went up on the stage for the speech, so he simply stood up among a few other of her friends and labelmates to cheer her on, wide smile over his lips and eyes twinkling in pride. He'd tried to offer her a discrete wave and thumbs up when she got back to the table but as the ceremony went on and finally came to an end, they were smoothly ushered out to prepare for the afterparty, with no chance to sneak out. Of course he celebrated their own win with the guys backstage, but he was bubbling to go back out there and find the girl. Which was exactly what he did. Once at the large venue, he swiftly made his way around, looking and asking around for the girl until he finally spotted her. Lips immediately spreading he excitedly called out her name to try get her attention as he maneuvered his way to get to her.

@❅ jung eunbi ᵖᶦˣᶦᵉ *he'd been wanting to meet up with her since the event ended, but circumstances hadn't allowed it just yet. the girl had one of the biggest awards and he wanted to congratulate her, but so far the best he could do was cheer for her once her name was called out and then give her a big thumbs up from his own spot once she got back down from her speech. he'd just gotten to the afterparty and immediately reached into his pocket to get his phone out and check on Eunbi, though once more they seemed to be rather synched up as the device rang with a text from the girl*

@☼ kim hanbin *that little pat on the head had her stomach in butterflies the whole evening. The nerves had never settled, even after she'd won the awards she won. Fortunately for her, her evening went without a hitch*
*now, at the after party, she craned her head to see over the heads of others. Even in the heels Chrystal had chosen for her, she still wasn't tall enough*
*though she'd made small talk with those around her, and had settled comfortably in a conversational group of faces around one of the many tables, she still kept her eyes peeled for one person: Hanbin*
*she sneaks her phone out of her clutch for the millionth time, debating on texting him... Ah, screw it. She'd send a message even if it made her look desperate*

this is the year of DSF, our greatest comeback as a whole company. on god, by the end of the year you will look back and say... jungkook sunbaenim was right.

/the night was still young, and tonight would be one of celebration amidst labelmates and staff. each of Seungjoo's arms thrown over the two newest Janus boys, he stands between them, a tall and round glass between his fingers, empty and ready to be filled with champagne as Jungkook makes sure the party is started properly/
Who'd sayy? On our first award ceremony and we are winners~
