@♊︎ kwon eunbi ᴱᵘⁿ I'll admit something to you right now, Bibi...
*Seohyun began with the straightest expression upon her face*
I haven't chosen a gown yet... I have all these ideas, and no idea how to choose
I thought planning a wedding would be easy, like running the business
But...
*she motioned to her cluttered list again* As you can see, I'm undecided everywhere
We can compromise and do blue, but maybe we can compromise
Since we both want blue... You want pastel, I want bold...
what about a sky blue? Or Robin's egg blue?
Would that ruin any of your ideas?
@❖ seo joohyun ˢᵉᵒʰʸᵘⁿ *Eunbi's smile did not fade even as she tried to be serious, especially with romantic her fiancee was being*
I know you have opinions on color, and I never want to doubt you on them.
and that especially goes for this
*she places her little card down, tapping a spot where she too has written blue, followed by a couple of questionmarks*
You read my mind. Partially. I figured we could go with blue to compliment the ocean because you so wanted a beach wedding, and I just adore the water. It felt like a given.
In my mind I had seen it all with pastels, since it is supposed to go with a lot of white
*she glanced shortly over at her fiancee, looking as if she had just spoiled a secret*
And where something like royal blue could make a big statement, maybe it is too big of a statement?
*she bit her lip a little, a hint of guilt in her eyes*
I hope I'm not shooting down some idea you had for your outfit...
@♊︎ kwon eunbi ᴱᵘⁿ Pastel you say?
*Without letting go of Eunbi's hand, Seohyun pulled another page from the notes in front of her and tapped at the top where 'colours' was circled twice*
I have notes for that too
I'm flexible... *here, she pulled Eunbi's fingers to her lips and coyly brushed her lips above the woman's knuckles* As I'm sure you know... *she muttered into the ring with a smirk, pulling back and letting Eunbi's hand go*
Share some of your ideas with me, my love
@❖ seo joohyun ˢᵉᵒʰʸᵘⁿ *Eunbi gave her fingers a quick squeeze with her own, flashing a small smile that did not fully reach her eyes. Even her voice was something tainted by worry as she replied*
As you are and always will be mine. But some people have o know for things to not end up-
falling apart. With how much time I spend with them it is only a matter of time before one of them notices something being up. I would rather that we were ahead of said curve of event.
*the smile finally reached her eyes as she let out a small huff of air*
Even if I would love to keep you all to myself.
*as Seohyun’s hand moved away Eunbi’s lingered on the table for a bit longer, as if to promise that she would always be there for her partner no matter what they decided on. Eventually she too pulled her hand back, her fingers nervously playing with the corner of her little card*
I… could see that work
*she hums a bit, her eyes staring into the air blankly as she tries to imagine it*
I am always a bit partial towards more pastel colors, but I could be convinced to something bolder.
*her gaze slowly drifted over to her fiancee as a smile played on her lips*
It would certainly make me stand out.
@♊︎ kwon eunbi ᴱᵘⁿ If it helps any... *Seohyun began, a playful grin playing over her lips as she locked their fingers together. Their engagement rings seemed like they were going to knock together, but instead, they slipped gem in bands like they'd always belonged as one ring to begin with*
You're my favourite secret
But in all seriousness, I understand you Bibi.
I've been working out ways in my head to bring it up to you earlier... I know how much you treasure them
Like I treasure you...
*she slipped their hands apart to grab at her notes* And the colour blue.
How do you feel about royal blue?
@❖ seo joohyun ˢᵉᵒʰʸᵘⁿ *Something about Seohyun’s touch seemed to alleviate some of the worry, making her focus center on her fiancee instead of anything else. And in that quiet she listened, feeling her heart flutter to hear that there was some agreement*
I would want you there as well. Either during or after, I just… I want to tell them the truth
*her confession was somewhat stopped by the sudden drop in her fiancee’s tone, swallowing heavily when she noticed her not looking at her anymore. But as she began explaining Eunbi felt the momentary tension slowly fade away yet again. When Seohyun let go to grab for her coffee it was Eunbi’s time to cup her fiancee’s hand between her own*
There is no hurt to be had, Hyunnie.
*she tried to keep her tone calm, knowing this had probably been spinning around in Seohyun’s thoughts for a while. It had for her too, knowing this would eventually come*
I understand why you would need it. Why we would need it.
*her smile saddened a little as she looked down at their hands, finding comfort and strength in their matching rings*
As much as I wished that I could be open about this to everyone, I know the calamity it would cause not only for the two of us, but the company as a whole. For that alone this is a secret to be guarded with all my effort. I would not let my feelings so foolishly topple an empire.
*a small chuckle escaped her, briefly calming her nerves before continuing*
I want for nothing of this to affect your work or their careers. Which is why I believe it is best to tell them before this all goes too far. I… I hope that makes sense.
@♊︎ kwon eunbi ᴱᵘⁿ *This situation was something that Seohyun had known would come a long time ago. She had played it out a million different ways in her head, but no matter what route she followed, the outcome remained the same*
*she took both of Eunbi's hands in her own, coffee, work and all things forgotten as she regarded her seriously*
I know how much they mean to you, and I know we can't avoid this.
I want to face them myself. Either with you when you tell them, or after you've revealed the news; whatever you find easiest
*she took in a deep breath, dropping her gaze to their conjoined hands, and the matching engagement rings on each of their fingers*
There is a slight... Business matter I have to discuss with regards to this, though... And I'm really sorry if this insults or hurts you in any way, but...
Bibi, I'm going to need them to sign some NDAs about this. It risks not only our careers, but theirs. And with my involvement, the entire company is also at risk if we don't handle this carefully and reveal it properly at the right time.
I hope you understand...
*Seohyun chewed on the inside of her cheek nervously, eventually grabbing her coffee to take a gulp*
@❖ seo joohyun ˢᵉᵒʰʸᵘⁿ *Eunbi's face fought against a bright smile as she tried not to laugh at Seohyun's reaction*
*few things in the world managed to make her so easily smile as the small nuances of her fiancee's mind*
It is the smallest font I could print though, so there might still be more points on there than it looks like, but there are some of them that I'd be more lenient on than others, and-
*she let out a light sigh, glancing down as she smiled*
I'm rambling again.
*Eunbi made her way to the table, sneakily peeking at the list her fiancee had just put out as she sat down*
*inside her whirled her feelings, battling between the nerves of planning their wedding and the sense of calm of being home again*
Okay, business mode
*she nodded sternly once, ready to talk when Seohyun pressed another kiss to her cheek*
*Oh, how she loved that woman*
Okay, starting now.
You said you wanted a beachside wedding. Which I could see possible if we traveled abroad, but it could also easily raise suspicion depending on the guests we bring. I did a bit of a research on how to get wed on boats however, because that way we could have the ocean all around us. That's not too crazy, is it?
*Eunbi laughed a bit nervously, the melodic sound transitioning into her clearing a little*
As for guests, I'm guessing you already have Jess and Tiff on the list? And I want to bring my parents. And Minji. I promise she will keep shut. And finally....
I want the other members there.
*She glanced over at her fiancee with the worry finally setting in fully*
They are family too. I don't know how long I can hide this.
@♊︎ kwon eunbi ᴱᵘⁿ *Seohyun may have been known to be a bit of a fierce boss outside of this condo, but when it came to Eunbi, she gave herself the grace and permission to completely fold. Seohyun would bend over backwards if it meant giving the world to her fiance, and seeing how beautiful she was even just coming home, it only proved it to her*
*she could have spent the entire evening staring at her, but the postcard sized list was a good distraction*
Huh, that's it?
*she asked, stepping away to rifle through her purse for her own list* I'm kind of surprised that mine is longer
*and here Seohyun held up the legal pad she'd been jotting on where a page and a half of ideas and scribbles marked every line in her curling scrawl*
*she left it on the table so she could finish off the coffee, grabbing Eunbi's favourite mug and setting it up next to her own* *when the beverages were ready, she balanced them to her partner, setting them down and dragging a chair to squish into the others side*
Okay, we're in business mode now
Let's make my little Jessica proud and start talking wedding
*but Seohyun couldn't help it, she had to get one last peck onto Eunbi's cheek* Okay, starting now.
Where do we even start? Location? Venue? Guest list?
@❖ seo joohyun ˢᵉᵒʰʸᵘⁿ *the sudden onset of kisses, both on her lips and across her face, took Eunbi by surprise. She let out a small eep of surprise, flailing slightly for a hand hold, which she luckily found at fabric at Seohyun's waist and the crook of her elbow*
So it wasn't too forward?
*she jolt a little at the light tap on her behind, but quickly hid the surprise behind a bright smile. It really had been a bit since they had time to themselves like this, hadn't it?*
Organized and bulletpointed, but fret not-
*her hand moved up to show off the card in her hand, flipping the postcard sized list back and forth between index- and middle finger*
-its not THAT long.
*there was no doubt she had missed the pampering though. People could say what they want about people acting spoiled in relationships, but Seohyun had always made her feel like a princess. It was something she did not take for granted*
Oh, if you could start an americano, that would be wonderful.
And then we can start going over the list and the planning. How does that sound?
*a relieved breath escaped her as she smiled again. Even in the midst of stress, Seohyun looked as gorgeous as ever*
@♊︎ kwon eunbi ᴱᵘⁿ *the elevator chime was like the icing on top of the wedding cake she was undecided on*
*the coffee was immediately forgotten as Seohyun propelled herself off the counter to rush up to her fiance*
*she raced forward to bomb her fiance with all the kisses she'd built up throughout the day, cupping Eunbi's cheeks until her lips were squished and she had no choice but to take the ambush of smooches*
I did, and I'm very happy to see my delivery here, hot and ready
*she teased, giving Eunbi a light tap on the bottom*
I hear you have a list? I'm kind of scared to ask how long it is... But I'm sure Jessica will be pleased
*as she talked, Seohyun walked around Eunbi, taking her bag and belongings off and placing them where they needed to* Do you want some coffee? I was just making some
@❖ seo joohyun ˢᵉᵒʰʸᵘⁿ *Despite having been very much on time, Eunbi had not been able to step into the elevator. She stood there with her notes in her hand, neatly formatted bullet-points printed out on proper cardstock to make it all feel a bit more serious. Because this was serious. It was their wedding.*
Come on... You got this
*She let out a huff before finally entering the code to send the elevator to the right floor. It was a rather short ride all in all, but it felt crazy long as she stood there reading her points over and over.*
*A chime announced her arrival as the doors opened up to the dining room, revealing the nervous Eunbi clad in her very favorite summer dress, still clutching onto the card in her hands. A quick smile spread on her face as her eyes landed on her fiancée; the tension in her shoulders visibly diminishing as she stepped out of the elevator.*
I heard someone ordered a day off with a cutie.
@♊︎ kwon eunbi ᴱᵘⁿ *Seohyun stifled a yawn as she waited for the coffee to finish brewing. She'd cleared her day to spend time with Eunbi - despite knowing how busy her fiance's schedule was - but had still somehow found something to keep her busy and up all night*
*Wedding planning was at the forefront of Seohyun's mind where work should be. Where she should have been thinking payroll she was thinking daffodils or daisies, or did she even want flowers?*
*Jessica was on her day in day out for more wedding decisions that Seohyun didn't have, which made today another day to keep her more eager*
*She anxiously looked to the door while waiting for Eunbi, scuffing the floor with the toe of her slipper and then darting her attention to the coffee maker*
*when there was nothing else to look at, she looked at her phone, pouting when there was no new message*
@♊︎ kwon eunbi ᴱᵘⁿ Seohyun could do nothing other than swipe the tears from her future wife's eyes and offer her kisses where both their words failed. With the confetti settled around them, and the pride colours embracing the girls while they danced around the room, all she could do was smile. There were many things that needed to be planned, a date to be chosen, vendors to be booked, but it didn't matter. Seohyun was confident she could marry Eunbi in a cardboard box wearing only her knickers. All that mattered was this woman.
She held her hands tenderly by the fingertips. "It's been... A few months in the making, I won't lie," Seohyun admitted, guiding Eunbi back to her seat and finding her own again so they could actually enjoy their celebration with a nice meal. "I had a million different ways to ask you. They helped me narrow it down to this. A bit over the top, but so am I." She laughed, her foot rubbing up Eunbi's leg below the table. "I love you."
@❖ seo joohyun ˢᵉᵒʰʸᵘⁿ Eunbi felt starved of oxygen from her short breaths, gasping lightly between the eager kisses Seohyun was showering on her. The whole world seemed to spin around the as she clung onto the older woman for balance. This was really happening. They would get married, just like Seohyun had said. Go somewhere else to get things officiated and bring the other ladies from the company.
Though the few years there they had become like sisters to her, just as supportive as it seemed they were for Seohyun. Though in extension it was probably just them supporting their friend the way they always had.
"I can't even words," Eunbi managed to get out between her small gasps and sobs of joy. Her voice was just a twist of bubbly laughter and crying, her makeup probably entirely ruined. But who cared. She was making her promise to want to be with Seohyun just ever more official. "T-they helped plan all this? F-for how long?"
(Hmmm... could be anything, really ((My brain just has norwegian songs right now, so not sure how much I could help there.....))
@♊︎ kwon eunbi ᴱᵘⁿ She said yes. She said yes. She. Said. Yes.
Seohyun grasped Eunbi by the cheeks, pushing their lips together in a hot eager kiss. Behind them, the two employees had started playing music (the first song they'd kissed to*). The hostess had set off a sparkler of confetti that showered over the two girls and the lights danced wildly in rainbow around the restaurant. Even the chef in the small serving window was clapping along to celebrate.
"I love you so much," Seohyun breathed when they pulled apart. Tears spilled over her flushed cheeks while she laughed. She stole a few more quick pecks off her girlfriend's - no, her fiance's - lips. "I'm so happy right now... I've been planning this for so long. Jessica made sure all the details were subtle but meaningful, and Tiffany unnie helped me choose the location. We used to come here as trainees, y'know? That's why I brought you here that first time." Seohyun's giggles were unstoppable. She clutched at Eunbi's hands to stop squeezing her face, but ended up kissing her fingertips and admiring the ring on her elegant finger.
(*To be discussed between us ooc since I realize we never roleplayed it)
@❖ seo joohyun ˢᵉᵒʰʸᵘⁿ Seohyun's words sounded dull and far away, all blurred together by the rush of feelings that was crashing through Eunbi's system. But she didn't need to hear it all. She knew what was coming. And seeing Seohyun's face and the emotions reflected in them Eunbi knew exactly what the words were even without being able to focus on them. Her girlfriend had not even been able to finish her question before Eunbi was nodding. Slowly at first, then uncoordinatedly fast, her whole body shaking as she tried to keep from crying worse. She wanted to marry Seohyun. Her whole heart wanted nothing but her and only her for the rest of her life. And she had been sure of this from the moment they had first kissed.
Her lips parted to speak the words of her heart, though her voice lagged behind for a second. "Y-yes. Yes, a hundred times, yes, I w-will," she stammered. Shaky fingers clutched Seohyun's in her grasp as she accepted the ring onto her finger. Married. She was getting to marry the woman she loved more than anything. More than life herself. "Oh H-hyunnie."
@♊︎ kwon eunbi ᴱᵘⁿ Seohyun watched Eunbi chug her drink in mild surprise, noting a creep of pink already blooming across her face. She waited patiently still, until Eunbi's finger grazed upon the ring. Seohyun set her drink down while the pieces clicked in. She rose from her chair, smoothing her skirt out with a happy hum. By the time Eunbi looked up, she was at her side, coaxing her to stand.
Seohyun paused only to get the ring untied from the stem of the glass, then, eye to eye with Eunbi, she gripped both of the other's hands in her own.
"My bibi, my love, my darling, my everything... I've always known I was different. That I liked women. What I never knew was that I was going to meet someone as amazing as you. Every day with you has felt like a dream. I need the rest of my life to have you in it. Now, I know we can't exactly get legally married here in our home country, but I don't care. We'll marry outside the country and live our lives authentically. We'll figure it out, but..." Seohyun's eyes welled with unexpected tears as she slid the ring onto Eunbi's left, ring finger. "Will you marry me?"
@❖ seo joohyun ˢᵉᵒʰʸᵘⁿ Tried? Eunbi wrinkled her brows a little at the nonchalant way Seohyun said it. It was as if it wasn't a statement that could have carried a million different meanings. But with how weird the entire day had been up til that point she could only think of one reason:
Seohyun was taking the step.
Her heart was rushing in her chest so loudly that she didn't even notice the glance from the waitress again. All she had eyes for was the gorgeous woman sitting across the table from her, looking effortlessly beautiful with her pink glass. And those eyes... The gaze she shot her over the rim of the chute. She was waiting for something. Some reaction.
Eunbi grabbed the offered drink, tightly holding onto the stem as she quickly downed the whole thing. She was so nervous she didn't even think of the clinking sound until she sat the glass back down and let out a breath, her eyes downcast to the table.
Right on a ring.
A beautifully intricate ring unlike any she had ever seen before. Around it was a pink string tied to the stem of her glass. That was why the waitress had been giggling and looking at her. This was why the restaurant was empty. Why Seohyun had been in a rush to be here on time, despite everything having already been prepared.
Eunbi gasped in a breath she had been unknowingly holding for the quiet moment as she had stared at the ring.
"H-hyunnie, you-" she stammered, eyes already welling up with tears as she looked back to the beauty opposite her.
@♊︎ kwon eunbi ᴱᵘⁿ "I've tried dating a woman that I love more than anything in this world," Seohyun said so casually that it was like she was talking about the Sunday post. The waitress tending to them returned with their drinks, setting them on the table with another giggling look at Eunbi. Seohyun tilted the pink-glassed shoot to her lips without missing a bit, her other hand slid the remaining glass towards Eunbi. It was cheesy, like everything about Seohyun, which is probably why her heart fluttered so in anticipation for Eunbi's reaction.
It was too obvious to miss the sparkling engagement ring tied at the stem of Eunbi's drink. The bejeweled engagement ring was tied on with a delicate string in pastel pink, the colour of her girlfriend's cheeks the first time they'd kissed.
"Take a sip," Seohyun hummed, trying desperately to squash her broad smile behind her drink.
@❖ seo joohyun ˢᵉᵒʰʸᵘⁿ It was only barely that Eunbi had noticed the little glance she had earned from the waitress, no matter how brief it had been. What she had not expected was the tint to the woman's cheeks as she had gathered up the menu's to leave. Eunbi immediately looked down at herself, adjusting the top of the dress a little as she mumbled partially to herself and partially her girlfriend: "You don't think the dress is too showy, do you?" She gave it a final little tug in place before flashing a flustered smile. "The waitress looked at me funny and blushed. I thought for a second she could see my everything, you know?"
Eunbi did not hesitate to place her hand in the offered one, gently entwining her fingers with Seohyun's own. "Oh, I've been to heaven," she teased with a smug smirk. A single finger drew a curved shape in Seohyun's palm as Eunbi continued teasing. "You were the one to show me, so I figured you already knew." It felt oddly freeing to not have that many eyes on them. Even if this place was rather quiet, you could always catch someone glancing in their direction.
"And what of you, gorgeous?" she asked while leaning closer, resting her chin on her free hand. "Been here requesting custom drinks from the bar? What else have you tried, beyond the peach mimosas?"
@♊︎ kwon eunbi ᴱᵘⁿ The menu was only an excuse for Seohyun to peek at Eunbi in a subtle way (though nothing was stopping Seohyun from openly ogling the woman). She waited for Eunbi to order before inviting the waitress closer. Seohyun flattened the menu out on the table, pointing to the same thing she always got. "I'll have the hotteok sampler plate and..." She peered nervously at Eunbi. "Can we have two peach mimosas? Y'know which ones?" The item wasn't on the menu, but if it hadn't been obvious enough, Seohyun had made prior arrangements in the small restaurant.
The waitress peered at Eunbi with a wide smile and flushed face before nodding at Seohyun. "Coming right up," she promised, heading off to the kitchen.
Seohyun slid a hand across the table to hold her girlfriend's. "So, how have you been, my love?"
@❖ seo joohyun ˢᵉᵒʰʸᵘⁿ The scent of fresh flowers and coffee washed over Eunbi as her girlfriend led her inside the familiar bruncheria. She had expected to be met with a small spattering of people around the place, usuals she recognized but never really spoke to. But to her surprise there was none other there than a hostess and a waitress both looking quite expectant as the two of them stepped in.
“Hyunnie?” Eunbi’s voice was light as she spoke the other’s name, glancing around the whole place with an almost stunned expression. It wasn’t as if she ever thought Seohyun was lacking in the monetary sense, but to rent out a full restaurant, no matter the size, was something she did not often see. The act alone had her heard rushing a little, flattered that Seohyun would do something like that for her… For them. But why? Could this really be it?
Her grip on Seohyun’s hand tightened, a mix of the nervousness that was filling her and the excitement. She sunk into the seat, eyes dancing around the many bells of the flowers around them. Lilly of the valley. One of the few plants she had bothered to learn the name of because of how pretty she thought they were. This had to be it. Why else? There was just too many coincidental things linking together.
“You can thank yourself for that,” Eunbi hummed in turn, cheeks slightly read from Seohyun’s attention. She always made her feel as if there was no one else in the world but them, as if nothing could ever draw her attention more. “You look gorgeous as always yourself, Hyunnie. I don’t think I’ve ever seen you not dazzle anyone you walk past.” She smiled, wanting to just enjoy this moment. At least until her girlfriend asked what to eat, making Eunbi pull out of her daze to glance at the menu. There wasn’t really any need to look. The amount of times they had been here had made her well aware of what the bruncheria offered. “I’ll have the kimchi-fired rice and egg, I think. What about you?” she asked back, slowly closing the menu on her side of the table.
@♊︎ kwon eunbi ᴱᵘⁿ There was that smile again. Seohyun's breath caught every time it was turned her way. The little pet name made her heart flutter. The sun couldn't outshine her dazzling girlfriend. Her better half. She was the one that kept her stable. All of these things made Seohyun all the more certain about her decision. She takes Eunbi's hand in hers, not regarding whether anyone was watching, and escorted her into the small bruncheria.
Only one waitress and a hostess worked that day, the latter standing behind the counter with an expectant smile and two menus in hand. The small restaurant was devoid of other patrons. Where the usual green plants spotted the room, the staff had replaced with pots of Eunbi's favourite flowers, and their sweet scent greeted them as they walked through. Warm coffee met her nose next, and the hostess walked to them.
"Welcome," she greeted the pair with a bow. "Right this way to your table, Ms. Seo." They were escorted to the center table, where two place settings had been made up.
Seohyun pulls out Eunbi's chair, letting her sit before leaning over her shoulder. "You look so ravishing, my darling," she sighs, pecking her cheek. "I can't wait to stare at you all through our meal." And she seats herself across the small, round table. "What do you think you'll have to eat?" she asks casually, cracking open the menu the hostess offered her and peering over it.
@❖ seo joohyun ˢᵉᵒʰʸᵘⁿ Eunbi rolled her eyes over-dramatically in turn, but couldn’t help the smile that remained. No matter if her joke had been dry, it was charming in a way only Seohyun could manage. Her fingers laced together with her girlfriend’s, squeezing sneakily but firmly thrice in place of the words not spoken. For she did love her with her whole heart. From the corny jokes to the bright smile. The loving kisses in the morning and the constant compliments that boosted her ego. Seohyun made her feel seen, but for herself and not just her looks.
“Hm?” She furrowed her brows confused as Seohyun snuck out of the car alone, sitting up a little in her seat as she followed her movements around the car. First she had thought she was headed for something in the trunk, but when she appeared on her side, opening the door for her, Eunbi let out a bright laugh. “Oh, I love you, you goofball.”
She placed her hand gently in Seohyun’s, stepping out of the car and following her inside, all her attention turned to her girlfriend until they s through empty tables. Her gaze traveled to the walls and the familiar decor. She remembered this place. “Yeah. They had pretty good breakfast here, I remember. And rarely a lot of people. Made all this a bit easier for us at the start.” Her attention drew back to Seohyun, a large smile on her lips. “Thanks, babe.”
@♊︎ kwon eunbi ᴱᵘⁿ Seohyun's hand finds Eunbi's over the seat, and she laces their fingers together. "Who's a CEO?" she teases with a laugh, giving her hand a light squeeze. Luck was in their favour, as little traffic interrupted their drive. They made it to the restaurant in record time. Seohyun didn't think she'd ever felt this nervous before. Maybe back when she'd debuted for the first time... But even then, it didn't compare to the butterflies in her belly.
"Wait here," she instructs Eunbi, getting out her side and rounding the car to open the door. "After you Bibi~"
The restaurant behind them was a hole in the wall, a place they'd visited in their early months together. They had amazing coffee, and even better breakfast, with light music and little people. It was the perfect backdrop. "I thought I'd surprise you with one of our old favourite places~"
@❖ seo joohyun ˢᵉᵒʰʸᵘⁿ For as much as Seohyun’s fuzzing about had Eunbi’s heart rushing at a feverish pace, she couldn’t help but feel that it was somewhat adorable. It was clear she was planning something to have her in such a hurry, and it was in many ways a very comical sight. Seohyun was usually the most composed of the two of them, even in high stress situations. So seeing her like this felt oddly… intimate.
“You speak as if you’re not the busy CEO of the company, babe,” Eunbi teased back, leaning over to sneak her arms around Seohyun’s arm. “Twenty minutes?” Her head recoiled ever so slightly. It was becoming more and more evident that Seohyun had planned this out to the tee. The dress, the shoes, the path to the brunch. Hell, the brunch itself. She couldn’t be thinking of- No, no. Certainly not. Could she?
@♊︎ kwon eunbi ᴱᵘⁿ Despite Eunbi's reassurance that they didn't have to rush for brunch, Seohyun checked her watch again. The minutes really were ticking by and if they didn't get to the restaurant soon the the timing of... "Hey babe, where are my keys?" she calls from the kitchen, her feet having taken her there of their own volition while she'd been in thought. She plants her hands on her hips, spinning in the middle of the spacious kitchen until she found the keys hanging where they usually were: on their hook by the elevator doors.
"Jesus," she mutters to herself, plucking them up along with her hand bag and joining Eunbi for the walk to the car. The driver had already started the engine and held the back door open for them. Seohyun held a hand out to Eunbi to aid her in. "We're going for brunch~ It's so rare we have a day off together, y'know. My little idol is so busy~" She pats her bum while following her in. "We should be there in twenty minutes, if traffic cooperates."
@❖ seo joohyun ˢᵉᵒʰʸᵘⁿ It seemed Seohyun was in a great mood. Eunbi's flushed cheeks were lifted by her bright smile, wondering just how she managed to be so stressed and so calm at the same time. "Don't steal my lines," she chuckled at her girlfriend's compliment, doing a little twirl in the dress that made it dance around along her dark hair.
"I would say my girlfriend has the most impeccable taste, yes," she continued joking along, head lifted high with pride for landing a beauty like Seohyun for herself. "I'll try to hurry, babe. But... Don't rush too much, mh? Even if we miss a reservation, I'm happy I just get to spend time with you." She smiled and hurried back to the closet where a fresh shoe box awaited her. What had she planned that had all of this be part of it?
She had hurriedly slipped on the shoes, finding that they did indeed go with her outfit. Seohyun had always been stylish, so Eunbi wasn't surprised there. But these were brand new and her size, meaning her girlfriend had bought them just for her and this situation. Her feet were already moving as soon as the bell of the elevator dinged, heading out to where the car waited outside. "So, where are we going?"
