@○ ⁞ wonwoo j 。 Suji smiled when he asked her what her power was. Even though she didn't enjoy how she came upon finding her power, she still enjoyed having something that wasn't so harmful. "Mm I can control the elements, plus one more besides the main four." She hummed realizing the boys gaze on her as she felt her heart flutter a bit before clearing . " Ready? " she asked looking at the vines that were wrapped around the railing in front of them. With a few droplets from the lake below them, beautiful roses grew on the vine.

@○ ⁞ suji b 。 Wonwoo realized that he had been staring at the other for quite a while upon hearing her explain herself, so he retracted his gaze and placed it somewhere else. "Me neither," he admitted rather sheepishly. Fortunately for him, one could never go wrong with a suit jacket. Being in an actual hero academy, he had learned how to get used to the next question Suji asked him. It was quite a development, to say the least. "They call it telescopic vision," he answered. "What's yours?"

@○ ⁞ wonwoo j 。 Suji noticed the way Wonwoo glanced at the jacket before explaining her reasoning for what she was wearing. "I never really was a party person..." She gazed up at him and shrugged. "So I didn't know what was appropriate to wear or not." She played with the ends of her hair, twirling the strands around her fingers. " C-Can I ask what your.. Power is? " she shyly questioned him.

@○ ⁞ suji b 。 "Oh." Wonwoo blinked. "Welcome to the academy then." He eyed the jacket Suji is wearing — admittedly, it was a little odd to see in a prom, but he doesn't have the best sense of fashion either. He chose to ponder over the question she threw at him instead, and realized that he hasn't been keeping track of time ever since he entered the academy. The memory of him doing his research before finding the school was a blur, so he answered with a small shrug. "Quite a while, I suppose."

@○ ⁞ wonwoo j 。 Suji smiled up at him shyly and nodded her head once. "I just started a week ago to be honest.." Her voice came out soft as she messed around with the zipper on the jacket she wore over the simple white dress. She should have dressed a bit more elegantly. Maybe that's why people have her looks when she first walked in. Snapping back to reality she looked at Wonwoo and hummed softly. "How long have you been here?" she asked curiously.

@○ ⁞ suji b 。 Ah, Wonwoo thought, of course she would know who he is. He could vaguely recall seeing her in some of his classes, but he had never approached her before — not that he ever needed to. He was painfully shy, and even after being at the academy for quite a while now, he still struggled with making friends, mainly because he didn't know how to talk to people. "Right," he said. Was Suji new to the academy? He stopped keeping track of the new faces in his class, and would only remember them when he could put a name to them. "How are classes going for you?" he decided to ask instead.

@○ ⁞ wonwoo j 。 With a shy smile, noticing she had kept her hand on the boys arm, she quickly dropped it not wanting too seem weird to him. Suji nodded as he said her name and cleared hoping her stuttering would die down, little by little. "I-I know who you a-are..." she breathed in softly gathering the words completely. "I have all your basic course classes and we have the same defensive training class." she nodded as she remembered which classes they had together.

@○ ⁞ suji b 。 Wonwoo nodded at her request and trailed his gaze to his arm, and then to her. There is something nostalgic about the hint of fragility in her voice — he started to see more of his younger self in her, which triggered the sudden urge to protect her and keep her safe (but from what?). The silence that fell between them was comfortable enough for him, but people have told him that his stoic look and lack of words did not mix well, so he offered the girl a small smile, albeit a little awkward. "You're Suji, right?" he asked. "I'm Wonwoo."

@○ ⁞ wonwoo j 。 Suji had never felt comfortable with anyone until now. Somehow the way he stood near her made her feel safe and how he treated her was differently from others, he wasn't one of the ones that thought she was weird and just ran away. Him asking if she wanted to be left alone was a new one to, but she didn't want him to go so her next choice of words came out as a surprise to her. "No, s-stay. ." She placed her hand gently on his arm as a sign that it was okay for him to be there with her.

@○ ⁞ suji b 。 Wonwoo thought that her timid attitude was slightly reminiscent to his own, especially when he was younger. Her shyness, however, seemed to have different roots than his, which was quite evident when she opened to speak. He nodded understandingly and averted his gaze somewhere else, unsure of what to say or do, as he could relate to the other's situation a little too well — why else would he be outside, away from the crowd if it weren't for the suffocating atmosphere inside the dance hall? "Do you..." His voice faltered at the last syllable, so he cleared his throat and tried again. "Do you want me to leave you alone then?"

@ᴄ ⁞ minho l 。 the warmth of her cheeks felt like a roarong furnace that burned deep in her skin; it felt so, so painfully obvious, how uneasy she was with herself. but she caught sight of the smallest of curls upon the corner of his lips, and oddly enough, the thought that he found her flushed state anything other than off-putting was already such a relief. "i'm sorry, i know i'm not usually like this, it's just..." she cuts off with a sheepish pause, dainty digits fidgeting with the chiffon hem of her gown - very unlike her, but that's well established by now.

"i'm just not very sure what to do with myself." she admits, albeit with a hushed done, all while brushing it off with a little chuckle. another sounding laughter follows at his statement, gaze peering over to said awful dye job. "i don't think it's that bad, i think it does kind of suit you. i plan to dye my hair lavender after prom, so i guess i have that going for me." taking note of his agreement, she takes his hand within her own, offering it a light squeeze; as if to say, 'no worries, i got you.'. and without a single word, she leads them both to where she presumes the patio might be, holding him close as they make their way through the bustling crowd.

@ʙ ⁞ jieqiong z 。 concern washes over him as she appears flustered, a smile trying to tug its way on his lips. this isn't the usual jie he has seen before. maybe it's the question she asked earlier that has her acting unlike herself. no matter the reason, he finds it endearing all the same. "thank you. i... tried my best with the awful dye job i have right now." the purple is a nice color but it is certainly not the greatest looking job done. he'll be avoiding the crime duo whenever color is involved now. her suggestion has him in immediate agreeement, not too fond of the bustling and crowded dance hall they were in. "yes please."

@○ ⁞ wonwoo j 。 With a soft sound escaping her lips at his voice, not having talked to anyone since she started school, Suji quickly nodded. Shyly, she turned her head to fix her eyes upon his timidly, a soft glimmer to her light brown orbs. Clearing and trying to find her voice the girl finally spoke. "I-I'm fine, I just don't do well with p-people and a-attention." Her stutter was something she hated and wished she could control, but it was inevitable to someone such as herself. Years of therapy couldn't fix it even if she wanted to go down that route. She wouldn't be surprised if he made a joke about her stuttering problem, it's what most people did when she finally spoke to them. He didn't seem the type to do that though, so she slowly calmed herself down turning her gaze to the sunset which was beginning to set.

@○ ⁞ suji b 。 Parties are draining, to say the least, and Wonwoo found himself slipping away from the crowd and outside the dance hall in a matter of minutes. He normally disliked being outdoors, but he ended up needing some fresh air after (barely) socializing with people. The patio wasn't empty when he arrived — the sight of a somewhat familiar looking girl, clinging onto the railings and looking far more exhausted than he was, caught his attention. He blinked in surprise when his eyes met hers for a brief moment before she quickly broke eye contact. He wondered if she was tipsy from the alcohol they served at the party, but another glance was enough to tell him that she looked completely sober. Perhaps she was just tired, he concluded. It was silent, save for the music playing from the speakers a good distance away from them, and Wonwoo decided to approach her slowly despite his social battery being close to empty. "Are you okay?"

Walking into the ballroom with the simple white dress and black leather jacket had brought attention to herself seeing as how it wasn't a ball gown like all the rest. She immediately felt suffocated from all the stares and raced to the patio, holding onto the banister that kept her from tipping over, Suzy managed to catch her breath. Finally looking around in her surroundings she had come to find she wasn't alone.. she recognized the boy as she had a couple classes with him, W-Wonwoo..? She remembered his name surprisingly. He was always quiet unless he was with someone he was actually close to. when those times came it usually put a smile on the girls face for some odd reason. Snapping back to reality catching that she was staring at the boy she quickly looked away hoping he didn't catch her staring and quietly made small whirlwinds with her finger.

@ᴄ ⁞ minho l 。 needless to say, finding a good enough excuse to hide the rouge spilling across her cheeks proved itself to be a challenge jieqiong was unable to overcome as she scrambles to avoid his gaze upon hearing the miniscule compliment. "oh, uhh- thank you, you look really nice yourself.." god, she's never been this awkward before. upon clearing , she inhales deeply, mustering all the courage she has once again face her company. "i hear it's better at the patio, a lot less people. wanna move?"
