[✱] What's your OOC alias and age? What's something we can call you?
— amir, psych, <3 (only if you add the heart).
— 27.

[✱] How do you prefer to write?
— literate, multi para.
— i don’t care about the length of replies i receive, and i will write as much as makes sense for the scene (sometimes it’ll be short snd impactful, sometimes long and lingering and flowy). you’ll always get something to build off of OR the option to request a rewrite.

[✱] What perspective do you prefer to write in?
— third and third only.

[✱] Do you like to plot or wing more?
— if we organically make a connection, winging preferred and i’ll ask questions as needed. sometimes i’m confident as and other times i need help to make the ideas cook.

[✱] If you prefer to plot, do you like to plan everything out
— no, toss me unique elements mid reply. no need to plot everything out.

[✱] Do you accept random wall starters?
— YES. PLEASE. will tongue kiss you for it /j (you get the vibes)

[✱] What are some of your preferred genres to write?
— comedy, hurt/comfort, i want to try to push myself in purple prose a little?? so dont be afraid to get poetic!

[✱] Are you comfortable doing mature threads?
— very, especially because this is supernatural. i’ll ping when i have an issue with something or need help moving past certain interactions. (so rare,,, thrrefore vague)

[✱] What is your general response time for threads?
— 4-5 days! usually faster if my interest supercedes my busyness. this can change with travel and with working full time, such will be communicated.

[✱] What would you say is the main thing that holds you back when rping?
— i build up expectations in my head sometimes? but i just need a bonk to write more, think less. (i will ask for the bonk.)
— or i can start too many threads (because i really love every idea and will turn them into threads as much as i can). but if this isn’t an issue for you? we’ll be best of friends.

[✱] What is something you value and/or look for in a writing partner?
— flexibility, understanding, shared enthusiasm about both our muses, immersion. please dont let me yap ooc, sometimes i wanna be fully into my character and throw out long replies that transport me elsewhere.
— roleplay is also like... 3rd priority for me behind work and irl commitments, i treat it like a hobby and not a full time job, so if something is not serving me/inspiring me, i'll probably ask to drop it. no hard feelings please. i just want us both to have fun.

[✱] What is the easiest or quickest way to get a hold of you?
— pm’s or dm me for discord. pls let it be known that i’ll remove discords after i leave rps

[✱] Are you reliant on frequent OOC interaction to keep your interest in IC interactions and threads?
— sometimes, not always. look at previous answer about what i value in a writing partner.

[✱] Anything else you feel we should know?
— if you’re curious abt something, just ask, i’m cool with almost anything!
— dont assume what my character will do
— don’t equate ic timelines to ooc (this is a serious stressor for me). one day irl doesnt mean one day ic. <3

[✱] what's your ooc alias and age? what's something we can call you?
⠀⠀― You can call me Willow, any form of my username, or by my muse's name. I am 25.

[✱] how do you prefer to write? (ex: detailed and descriptive paragraphs, lengthy novella posts, small and to the point script posts, etc.)
⠀⠀― I tend to write descriptively if it is a full-fledged plot that has been discussed or agreed upon, those can range anywhere from a paragraph to novella, but it usually resides around a few paragraphs. When in chats or doing short and sweet interactions, I keep them no longer than one paragraph.

[✱] what perspective do you prefer to write in? (ex. first, second, or third)
⠀⠀― Third, unless another perspective is proper. (I do not mind what perspective others respond to my posts with)

[✱] do you like to plot or wing more?
⠀⠀― I like a mixture of both. I enjoy light plotting rather than super detailed planning and the like. It is far more fun and exciting for me to surprise each other with our ideas so long as they stay in the correct atmosphere for the moment-- my character wouldn't know what is coming next, and neither should I. There are exceptions to this, like for connections/plots I have posted.

[✱] if you prefer to plot, do you like to plan everything out in advance or do you prefer to plan as you go?
⠀⠀― Planning as I go is the way I enjoy plotting.

[✱] do you accept random wall starters?
⠀⠀― No, I like to keep a clean wall (it's where I post my memories!) but random room starters are always welcome.

[✱] what are some of your preferred genres to write? (ex: angst, comedy, romance, etc.)
⠀⠀― I genuinely do not have a preferred genre! I love them all <3 (lately I have been craving romance, which is super rare for me lol)

[✱] are you comfortable with doing mature threads?
⠀⠀― Yes, though I will mention that as of right now, I am not inclined to do NSFW posts. Other types of mature content are fine, as well as talking about NSFW themes-- but itself is so outside of my realm of muse at the moment, that I would lose interest fairly quickly.

[✱] what is your general response time for threads?
⠀⠀― Anywhere from the same day to half a week depending on the size and my current muse for the thread. I am practically nocturnal at this point in my life, so the exact timing as to when I am most active is null.

[✱] what would you say is the main thing that hold you back when rping?
⠀⠀― I have insane adhd and get overwhelmed quickly if too many people are reaching out to me to plot. Due to this, I keep a limited number of available plots, but am always open to connections! If I become overwhelmed I tend to lose my muse overall and I do not want that to happen.

[✱] what is something you value and/or look for in a writing partner?
⠀⠀― Honesty, communication, excitement, motivation, and most of all the willingness to try stuff out and expand their character.

[✱] what is the easiest or quickest way to get a hold of you?
⠀⠀― Tags, Discord (willowispy), I literally forget my PMS exists-- so feel free to pm me for anything (especially plots) but a tagged reminder may be needed.

[✱] are you reliant on frequent ooc interaction to keep your interest in IC interactions and threads?
⠀⠀― No. I am not much of a chatter, to be honest, mainly due to how busy I am all the time. I also am introverted to all hell and it shows even here.

[✱] anything else you feel we should know?
⠀⠀― I am in college and working two part-time jobs. I am a busy bee, so please please please do not take my slow pace as me being uninterested!!!! I ADORE writing, it helps keep me sane with everything going on, if I reach out to you or you extend a willingness to plot with me, I am more than honored to write with you and get to know your character. I am very good at communicating if that ever changes so to those who may be reading this, please do not hesitate to reach out. I swear I am nice lol

[✱] what's your ooc alias and age? what's something we can call you?
⠀⠀― bon or sab is fine, and 25+ you can call me by either of those names or my username or my muse's name!

[✱] how do you prefer to write? (ex: detailed and descriptive paragraphs, lengthy novella posts, small and to the point script posts, etc.)
⠀⠀― definitely detailed and descriptive paragraphs, lots of character introspection too depending on my muse! it can reach novella but it's usually multi-para! kind of to the point, right between beige and purple prose.

[✱] what perspective do you prefer to write in? (ex. first, second, or third)
⠀⠀― third! exceptions are for in-character chatting like in texting.

[✱] do you like to plot or wing more?
⠀⠀― plotting is preferred, also gushing over our characters friendship/relationship/hatred for each other is always welcome. makes things funner! winging is also fine as long as we kind of discuss what's happening along the way, but plotting all the way!

[✱] if you prefer to plot, do you like to plan everything out in advance or do you prefer to plan as you go?
⠀⠀― a mix of both, but usually leaning more on planning everything in advance! new developments and changes will happen later so it's a combination.

[✱] do you accept random wall starters?
⠀⠀― i don't really like wall starters because i keep it clean, but room starters are welcome!

[✱] what are some of your preferred genres to write? (ex: angst, comedy, romance, etc.)
⠀⠀― any genres that can help my character grow, help them reach their ic goals and my personal goals for them as a writer! slice of life "floating in the timeline" casual plots are also good! especially if they're buildup for something bigger.

[✱] are you comfortable with doing mature threads?
⠀⠀― yes, but it's dependent on the character mine is interacting with! they have to have some chemistry, whether my character is the casual non-committal type or not! so basically mature threads are welcome with chem.

[✱] what is your general response time for threads?
⠀⠀― usually night or later afternoon, random days but in gmt+8! on weekends it can be any time of day if i have the energy and muse to write.

[✱] what would you say is the main thing that hold you back when rping?
⠀⠀― i think most rpr writers have this problem ... haha motivation? procrastination? also i think i tend to answer threads faster than i answer pms on rpr! but i try to get to them more these days, but also a big hurdle is that if i don't have a sizeable character profile done, i can't really plot yet? not fully.

[✱] what is something you value and/or look for in a writing partner?
⠀⠀― communication, respect, effort!

[✱] what is the easiest or quickest way to get a hold of you?
⠀⠀― pms and tags! some people have my discord, but i prefer pms early on (especially for new writers i haven't really talked to yet) and it keeps it organized between characters! so yes to pms and tags.

[✱] are you reliant on frequent ooc interaction to keep your interest in ic interactions and threads?
⠀⠀― yes and no, maybe? depends, sometimes early ooc interaction and communication is enough if the threads are going amazingly. but ooc interactions are alright with me, keeps me excited for character dynamics and gives me ideas!

[✱] anything else you feel we should know?
⠀⠀― i do my best to keep a tracker for my pm and thread replies, but because of real life things like work and other commitments, i do slow a little in terms of replies. i am typically communicative when it comes to getting a little slow (sometimes) and i'm also okay with double texting because sometimes i miss pm/discord plotting messages! i don't really like being poked though because i have a tracker so please don't do that. double texts for new plot/development ideas are the exception of course! (and friendship)

[✱] What's your OOC alias and age? What's something we can call you?
⠀⠀― Min, and 22+! (unfortunately an oldie)
You can call me by my name or muse's name. Just pick your choice! I'm pretty much comfortable with any nicknames too, so no worries.

[✱] How do you prefer to write? (ex: detailed and descriptive paragraphs, lengthy novella posts, small and to the point script posts, etc.)
⠀⠀― I love detailed and descriptive paragraphs that portray every small details that hidden beyond the eyes, generally. But I couldn't promise such writing all the time since I'm a slave to government ooc lol. So, most of the time I tend to mirror my partner - I'd like to put the same effort as I was given. Hence, please expect a longer wait for lengthy replies huhu. Though, just a small heads up, I'm really not into script writing or one-liners.

[✱] What perspective do you prefer to write in? (ex. first, second, or third)
⠀⠀― Preferrably, 3rd! But I don't mind writing in 1st, if you're more comfortable with it.

[✱] Do you like to plot or wing more?
⠀⠀― Definitely, plotting! I love brainrotting, crying, screaming and getting all excited about our muses together. But, I don't mind having only the basic and wing the rest of it either — open starters are very much welcomed too. So, no pressure on it tbh. I just tend to be more motivated when I have an overview of what's happening.

[✱] If you prefer to plot, do you like to plan everything out in advance or do you prefer to plan as you go?
⠀⠀― Either one is good for me! It depends. Although, I might prefer planning as we go at times considering my muse mostly have a mind of their own, regardless what I write hdhdjd. Besides, it's more exciting when you're oblivious of what's coming, right?

[✱] Do you accept random wall starters?
⠀⠀― Unfortunately, I prefer to keep my wall clean for my own trackers huhu. But random starters on any other rooms are very very veryyy much welcomed!

[✱] What are some of your preferred genres to write? (ex: angst, comedy, romance, etc.)
⠀⠀― I'm head over heels with genres that are able to develop my character, probably exploring the depth emotions that I haven't ventured yet on my own. So any angst, drama, romance, platonic or plot-twist genres (p/s: extra point for angst- love it when it hurts so good haha.) But, I do welcomed light-hearted plots with comedy and humor! Flint need some joy in his monotone life, too.

[✱] Are you comfortable with doing mature threads?
⠀⠀― Depends. Their chemistry, the plot etc. But considering Flint's character, he's not into casual fling. So, unless there's an emotional thing being involved, I would say no.
— As for non-ual threads, I'm pretty good with anything! Just need further discussion to be clear of our boundaries.

[✱] What is your general response time for threads?
⠀⠀― Mostly night/ after midnight (gmt+8). I have fixed work schedule from morning till evening. So the only times I would be able to write a reply would be during my off-day and during the night. Although, response for pms and plot discussion would be more flexible.

[✱] What would you say is the main thing that hold you back when rping?
⠀⠀― It's me. Hi, I'm the problem, it's me! Motivation, distraction, procrastination. My adhd brain sometimes thinks more than doing the actual work. Especially since I'm dealing with little monsters (children) everyday, so I tend to get too exhausted to actually write a reply -even when I already have it drafted in my mind- until I realised so much time has passed ;; sobs.

[✱] What is something you value and/or look for in a writing partner?
⠀⠀― Understanding, communication, effort and transparency. Understanding as in respecting that each of us have our own life ooc. Communicating and being transparent when there's anything that I did might've offend you or losing your muse mid writing/discussion. We're all adults so I would very much appreciate it if we can act like one. As for effort, I wouldn't expect the same effort I have given, but it would be nice to know that I'm not rping alone :)

[✱] What is the easiest or quickest way to get a hold of you?
⠀⠀― Character pms or tags! I prefer to keep my rp related communication here since it might get scattered with my work stuffs in personal platforms.

[✱] Are you reliant on frequent OOC interaction to keep your interest in IC interactions and threads?
⠀⠀― I wouldn't say I rely on it at all. But it does keep me going and fill my motivational level from time to time - especially when my brain starts dying on me. However, once we start going with the thread, I don't usually interact much unless it is necessary. So it's all up to how comfortable you are to make any interaction.

[✱] Anything else you feel we should know?
⠀⠀― I'm a forgetful person. Almost borderline short-term memory loss. One time I might be extremely enthusiastic about our thread discussion, and another time I got swamped by work to the point I forgot where we left off djjdkskjs. So please don't think that I'm purposely ignoring you - just hit me up, or poke me anytime, that would be appreciated! I'm pretty chill with anything, including if you want to drop our thread. Just let me know before you run off and ghost me. All of us treasure this platform as a place to have fun or escape irl for a moment, so let's avoid any unnecessary drama okie?
That's it! Looking forward to write with all of you!! <3
ambrose. 6 months ago
[✱] What's your OOC alias and age? What's something we can call you?
⠀⠀― you can call me kuni / indie and i'm 23 years old! my pronouns are any pronouns and i don't mind being called by my character's names. if you wish to adress me through my username, you can call me shu or shua!

[✱] How do you prefer to write? (ex: detailed and descriptive paragraphs, lengthy novella posts, small and to the point script posts, etc.)
⠀⠀― i write detailed and descriptive and tend to be a bit flowery with words sometimes. i try my best to make it readable and not be too flowery with my words. i am only comfortable in writing multi paragraphs and i don't write to the point it's ad lengthy as novellas.

[✱] What perspective do you prefer to write in? (ex. first, second, or third)
⠀⠀― i write in third perspective but can mirror when the person i'm writing with uses first. i haven't tried second perspective so i don't think i'll be able to mirror that one well!

[✱] Do you like to plot or wing more?
⠀⠀― i would love to plot and wing as well but i think my preference would rely on whether i am busy or not too exhausted. my replies might take awhile but i try to make sure it doesn't take longer than two-three days to respond to dms and plots.

[✱] If you prefer to plot, do you like to plan everything out in advance or do you prefer to plan as you go?
⠀⠀― i prefer planning as we go! it's a lot more fun when it gives off a sense of suspense or surprise on what could happen next.

[✱] Do you accept random wall starters?
⠀⠀― yes! i don't mind random wall starters and i find it a lot easier to track replies for wall plots!

[✱] What are some of your preferred genres to write? (ex: angst, comedy, romance, etc.)
⠀⠀― i am fan of writing many different genres! i do think there are a few themes that i might take awhile in writing, for i haven't had much experience writing it.

[✱] Are you comfortable with doing mature threads?
⠀⠀― i will not entertain anything that doesn't make sense for the plot and the connection or relationship that the characters share. as i've mentioned before, there's themes that i might take awhile in writing — this is one of them. expect replies on mature themes!

[✱] What is your general response time for threads?
⠀⠀― my replies will rely on my mood and my schedule. i don't know when i'll be busy most of the time but if i do have somewhere to be for the day, i'll go home exhausted and drained. i try my best to make sure my replies don't take too long and at least don't exceed a week!

[✱] What would you say is the main thing that hold you back when rping?
⠀⠀― i'm too shy to start anything and i get so exhausted easily that i'm afraid that if my replies take too long, people's interest in our plot or my character get lost. T-T i'm also a bit insecure about my grammar and hope my writing would be at least readable.

[✱] What is something you value and/or look for in a writing partner?
⠀⠀― understanding, patient, and would be openly communicating things with me! i am not the best with socializing and i hope whoever would write with me would understand that and be patient with me. i don't mind replies if they take too long and i hope they feel the same way.

[✱] What is the easiest or quickest way to get a hold of you?
⠀⠀― tags in rooms and character pms! you can also ask me for my discord because ideally that's actually the best way to contact me.

[✱] Are you reliant on frequent OOC interaction to keep your interest in IC interactions and threads?
⠀⠀― not really reliant on ooc interactions but i do love having conversations about ic interactions! somewhat like live reactions to plots through ooc interactions! it can be fun and will add more interest into it. but like i said, i am bad at socializing so it's really not something i am reliant on.

[✱] Anything else you feel we should know?
⠀⠀― i'm a bit shy and i keep stressing this because i'm afraid that it affect certain interactions and conversations ( sometimes i take time to reply and think about what to say because i'm bad at this JABAAJ ) but i am friendly!! i promise i am T-T i am open for conversations on our character as well as pre-establishing connections or relationships with them. <3 i love writing and hope that we could write together!!
izel. 6 months ago
[✱] What's your OOC alias and age? What's something we can call you?
⠀⠀― lait, I'm 22+ and don't mind being called lait or any other derivative nickname, or just the name of my characters

[✱] How do you prefer to write? (ex: detailed and descriptive paragraphs, lengthy novella posts, small and to the point script posts, etc.)
⠀⠀― I'm a mirror writer, which means I can write anything from small para to novella length - with varying speeds, of course. I'm somebody who prefers to mirror, but I don't require it back. my one weakness is writing script or action, I have to squeeze out a few sentences minimum

[✱] What perspective do you prefer to write in? (ex. first, second, or third)
⠀⠀― Imy to-go is third with mixed tense and occasionally a little second, which has been pointed out to me by people with greater grammatical correctness than I do

[✱] Do you like to plot or wing more?
⠀⠀― I like plotting or at least winging with some kind of context, so it helps if we can at least set a baseline for how our characters will interact or meet and go from there.

[✱] If you prefer to plot, do you like to plan everything out in advance or do you prefer to plan as you go?
⠀⠀― I say I like to plan as I go, but I also sometimes have a specific moment or goal in mind with a thread's direction, in which case I'll try to mention it ahead of time

[✱] Do you accept random wall starters?
⠀⠀― yes I love random starters ^^

[✱] What are some of your preferred genres to write? (ex: angst, comedy, romance, etc.)
⠀⠀― I am not good at slice of life / comedy unless they are short posts, but I love to write anything that makes sense for my characters

[✱] Are you comfortable with doing mature threads?
⠀⠀― Yes, so long as we discuss and okay any triggers or themes ahead of time

[✱] What is your general response time for threads?
⠀⠀― things under 150 words can be typed out in minutes, while things above 250 words I request a few hours to a day. I am still working full time and very easily exhausted so I ask for your patience and understanding if I don't reply in a day or two

[✱] What would you say is the main thing that hold you back when rping?
⠀⠀― sometimes the weight of discussion. although I like plotting, I can sometimes find trying to figure out how two characters mesh together exhausting and I sometimes am mentally blocked from taking the first step forward

[✱] What is something you value and/or look for in a writing partner?
⠀⠀― I like transparency and reciprocation of effort. It's good to tell me things you like and better to speak up on things you don't like, so I can constantly adjust to have a good experience for the both of us. I also really appreciate a partner that actively tries to participate and reciprocate especially in plotting and pulling thread progression along

[✱] What is the easiest or quickest way to get a hold of you?
⠀⠀― I prefer pms or tags, honestly, transferring across platforms is difficult for me but you can always ask me for my dc

[✱] Are you reliant on frequent OOC interaction to keep your interest in IC interactions and threads?
⠀⠀―to a certain degree, ooc interaction helps me feel more comfortable with the mun and kickstart ideas with the muses. I'd like to try not to be, but having regular interaction certainly helps pull me forward

[✱] Anything else you feel we should know?
please love izel even if he is hard to love <3
aed. 6 months ago
[✱] What's your OOC alias and age? What's something we can call you?
⠀⠀― Mika, 21+. You can also call me by my character’s name—I answer to both. I go by they/them pronouns but if you’re using my character(s) to refer to me you can also use their pronouns.

[✱] How do you prefer to write? (ex: detailed and descriptive paragraphs, lengthy novella posts, small and to the point script posts, etc.)
⠀⠀― Paragraphs and novella if the muse is high. Regardless I’m a self-proclaimed chronic overwriter so I can easily go 3+ paragraphs, which I don’t expect my writing partner to mirror at all so rest assured if you’re interested in RPing! Detail-wise, I love detailing on my character’s inner thoughts but I do try to be descriptive of their external situation as well, but that being said I don’t write purple prose. I have the vocabulary of an eight year old and the only reason why I have the dictionary open as I write is to double check that I’m using the most basic of words correctly.

[✱] What perspective do you prefer to write in? (ex. first, second, or third)
⠀⠀― I’m solely a third person writer for RPing. Present tense over past, but I can do both. I don’t mind my writing partner’s preferred perspective/style and don’t expect them to match mine at all, but similarly I also will not change mine to match my partners.

[✱] Do you like to plot or wing more?
⠀⠀― I can kinda wing things in casual situations like IC chats, but definitely plot if we’re threading. It doesn’t have to be detailed and I do like a good mix of plotting and winging, but I think it’s super important to at least establish a connection (even if it’s just like “oh they bumped into each other on the streets and now they know of each other’s existence i guess”) before getting to the actual RPing stage bc chara dynamics can and will influence how they will interact with each other and develop.

[✱] If you prefer to plot, do you like to plan everything out in advance or do you prefer to plan as you go?
⠀⠀― Probably the latter, but I wouldn’t say that I plan as I go either. As I said, I like a good mix of plotting and winging and I ask that we plot simply because I need context and background information before writing, but once that’s established, I follow my muse’s whims and often times they end up acting differently than what I have planned out for them.

[✱] Do you accept random wall starters?
⠀⠀― Unfortunately not :( I’d like to keep my walls clean and if we haven’t established any sort of connection between our muses, getting a random starter anywhere would just end up in me asking to plot it out further anyway because I wouldn’t know how to respond otherwise.

[✱] What are some of your preferred genres to write? (ex: angst, comedy, romance, etc.)
⠀⠀― I’m a er for toe-curling angst. I love characters that live in my mind rent free and keep me up at 5AM thinking about how doomed they are. I’m not super picky with genres and will write most things subject to the conditions in the next question.

[✱] Are you comfortable with doing mature threads?
⠀⠀― I don’t write but implications/F2B are fine if it makes sense. Non-ual mature threads (e.g. graphic violence, body horror) are cool with me though—just make sure we communicate our boundaries and stuff before and as we go.

[✱] What is your general response time for threads?
⠀⠀― When I’m not too busy I try not to take more than a week but when I have a lot of things going on I’d add an extra week or two to that timeframe. Also my muse is super fickle; I don’t really reply to threads in chronological order so certain threads may take longer than others regardless of length but rest assured that I’m not ignoring you or prolonging our thread on purpose!

[✱] What would you say is the main thing that hold you back when rping?
⠀⠀― OOC happenings and me having no energy to do stuff most of the time… also my personal rule when it comes to approaching people to RP is that I never do so unless I have a plot idea to offer, and obviously I’d have to do more thinking on top of reading their profiles thoroughly so that in itself is already kind of energy and time consuming. Admittedly not the best way to do things, but I don’t feel good about approaching people without no thoughts so… yeah.

[✱] What is something you value and/or look for in a writing partner?
⠀⠀― I love it when we (as in me and my writing partner) can fuel each other’s muses as it keeps us excited about the plot, and that will most definitely boost my motivation! You know my muse is on the roof if I’m in a perpetual state of brainrot and when that happens I will /not/ shut up about our characters. Even if it takes either or both of us ages to reply to our thread(s), we can just scream at each other about headcanons and situations and whatnot and just… brainrot without having to sound pretty.

[✱] What is the easiest or quickest way to get a hold of you?
⠀⠀― Easiest and quickest way would be Discord if you have me there! Otherwise, I prefer if we stick to character PMs unless I ask for your Discord first. I’m a lot slower on PMs and I apologize to those I plot with there but I’d rather not give my contact details outside RPR unless I’m comfortable!

[✱] Are you reliant on frequent OOC interaction to keep your interest in IC interactions and threads?
⠀⠀― Not really? I love brainrotting together but it’s more of a huge bonus than something I need to keep me interested. I’m a firm believer in prioritizing everything else IRL over RPing and this includes OOC interactions about RPing as well. All I ask is that you communicate major plot points to me (if we haven’t already talked about it) before executing it in our thread(s) so I won’t be caught off guard.

[✱] Anything else you feel we should know?
⠀⠀― I have a thread limit system for myself and this is applied on a “first come first serve” basis and NOT because I’m selective with who I write with. This will be communicated via status and on the unlikely event that I forget to update it and turn down your request to RP, please know that it’s solely because I don’t want to overwhelm myself with the amount of threads I have and not because of anything that reflects my judgement of your writing (I have literally never done that ever in an RP setting) or whatever.

[✱] What's your OOC alias and age? What's something we can call you?
call me by my username, or any of my characters' names! or if you know me by nana, then feel free to call me that! i usually respond anyway. i'm also of age, above the age of 21 :sob:

[✱] How do you prefer to write?
i'd like to say i mirror, but i just write a lot. i do not expect my partners to mirror my length, however! i am very much a descriptive rather, with heavy emphasis on thoughts and feelings, which is why my writing tends to be on the longer side! i can go from multi-paragraph to novella quite easily, but like i said, no pressure! i don't do script.

[✱] What perspective do you prefer to write in?
i am a third person pov girlie. i will not do first person pov so do not even ask. my tenses depend on what kind of thread it is. if it is backdated, it is likely i will write in past tense. if it is more present or recent, i'll be using present tense.

[✱] Do you like to plot or wing more?
i am very much a plotter ;; i can't wing too much because i can't really write without planning, even just a little bit. sorry, i am a heavy plotter! if that's not your thing, i guess it'll be difficult to write with me. i generally need even the barest backbones to a thread before i can get to writing it.

[✱] If you prefer to plot, do you like to plan everything out in advance or do you prefer to plan things as you go?
sometimes i like to plan everything out in advance, if i get enough muse! even more so when it's a romantic connection. however, i usually plan things as i go. i think? i am just in general a heavy plotter.

[✱] Do you accept random wall starters?
no, sorry! i don't wing often, and i like to keep my walls clean for updates.

[✱] What are some of your preferred genres to write?
angst, romance, spice! fluff is good too every now and then, but i'm slower when it comes to writing fluff for some reason. i wouldn't mind lighthearted fluffs at all though! my response would likely be shorter, however. i also do not mind plotting end-games, especially with friends or people i'm comfortable with, as long as the plot is good! however, i am also open to changes. just tell me before doing them ic!

[✱] Are you comfortable doing mature threads?
yes! i just need it to make sense, unless my character is the type specifically to do flings. however, i tend to prefer if there were plot to that mature thread, as i do prioritize feelings over actions when it comes to threads like this, not just limited to ing.

[✱] What is your general response time for threads?
it varies! it can go from within the hour to several weeks. it depends on the motivation, muse and schedule. i am usually busy, but i also tend to game a lot. i no longer have my fast replying speed from before, so :sob: but i am the type to do multiple threads at once!

[✱] What would you say is the main thing that holds you back when rping?
motivation, distraction. also might be a bit of a reactor, so starters are hard for me.

[✱] What is something you value and/or look for in a writing partner?
having similar enthusiasm and energy when it comes to the thread! i am more likely to reply to threads if i feel that my partners are as excited as me to write it ;; i also would like someone who's understanding and patient, and not the type to just drop a major plot twist ic without telling me about it beforehand. also exchange ideas with me! drop your brainrot with me! i love those so much!

[✱] What is the easiest or quickest way to get a hold of you?
character pms! but barely. if you have my discord, then discord is the easiest way!

[✱] Are you reliant on frequent OOC interaction to keep your interest in IC interactions and threads?
no, not really! though i would not mind hearing your brainrot or ideas for the characters on random times! that helps me keep my interest in the ic plot.

[✱] Anything else you feel we should know?
none... i think... just that my activity in chat does not mean i'm ignoring your replies or whatever. i just take my time with replies!
cypher. 6 months ago
[✱] What's your OOC alias and age? What's something we can call you?
you can call me by my username, by my muse's name, or 'yu.' i will generally respond to all of them. and i am 21+ years old and counting!

[✱] How do you prefer to write?
i mainly mirror. sorry for being a sheep!! i have no concept of individuality and will rely on my partner to set the pace cause i'm also an avid people-pleaser. however, there are moments when i take a sharp left off a cliff and decide to extend a received paragraph response into novella (/lies). but my length and style are dependent on how much motivation i have for a thread or plot and my muse's purpose in the scene. if their role is mostly reactive, then my replies might be shorter. if it's mostly active, then it might be longer. or vice-versa. i also tend to keep my replies to a 2-4 paragraph maximum (for my own sanity).

[✱] What perspective do you prefer to write in?
i tend to stick to third person most of the time. very rarely will you see me writing in first these days. i also try to keep to present tense, but i think my unfortunate default is usually past tense.

[✱] Do you like to plot or wing more?
i don't typically have a preference. i like the loose nature of improvisation, but also appreciate the structure of plotting. i will often follow the preference of my writing partner, though even with winging, i believe some thought needs to be put forward, especially with interactions that may result in more complex scenarios.

[✱] If you prefer to plot, do you like to plan everything out in advance or do you prefer to plan things as you go?
when i do plot, i like to plan as i go. while it's nice to have an organized outline, i do find it a bit restrictive. also, nothing /ever/ goes according to plan (in a good way).

[✱] Do you accept random wall starters?
yes! by all means! i wholly welcome them!

[✱] What are some of your preferred genres to write?
it depends on my mood. though i think i naturally find myself gravitating towards more angsty plots, but i don't think they're personally sustainable. i'm generally open to all ideas, so please feel free to come at me with whatever you have brewing up and i'm happy to work through it together!

[✱] Are you comfortable doing mature threads?
generally yes, but it needs to make sense. if there's gonna be , it NEEDS to have a plot! i prioritize the feelings over the dicking itself.

[✱] What is your general response time for threads?
i work a full-time hours from monday to friday, and potentially even longer on certain occasions. as a result, most of my responses can be a bit sporadic and tend to get done during the weekend. they also depend on motivation and length. longer threads will take a bit more brainpower, while shorter threads (<2 paragraphs) i try to get back to within 1-2 days, if not already in the process of responding to it. if i feel or it seems that i won't be able to respond for a significant length of time, i will make sure to communicate as such with my partner.

[✱] What would you say is the main thing that holds you back when rping?
consistent muse. it's a horrible no good awful bad habit, but my interest and motivation have mid-speed turnover rates. also procrastination; i spend too much time getting in my own head about how to respond to certain threads that i lose track of how many hours or days have passed without so much as a word hitting paper.

[✱] What is something you value and/or look for in a writing partner?
communication, openness, and a teeny tiny bit of organization. my ideal type (in a writing partner) is someone who can be upfront about things that are bothering them or things that have come up that may impact our thread. i completely 100% understand that things happen or people lose interest in current threads and want to try something new, and as long as you can tell me about it (or as much as you're comfortable sharing in relation to how it may affect writing together), then we can find a way to figure it out together. i also value folks who are a bit more organized cause i am not and i need at least one of us to be able to confidently steer this ship lol.

[✱] What is the easiest or quickest way to get a hold of you?
character pm, usually. i try to hop on at least once a day to see if i missed anything.

[✱] Are you reliant on frequent OOC interaction to keep your interest in IC interactions and threads?
nope! we can keep it strictly professional (ic) or take a more informal approach (ooc incorporation) and it would have no more or less impact on how we write together. tbh i tend to prefer keeping ooc and ic separate. i feel it allows for more flexibility and complex performances without concern of overstepping (with initial consent from all participating parties, of course!).

[✱] Anything else you feel we should know?
i apologize if none of this made sense. for the past 2-3 days i've been working the same amount of time as i've been sleeping, so i am a bit delirious. but i wanted to get this out of way before i forgot! which is all to say that, regardless of whether all or none of my answers were coherent, don't hesitate to reach out to me if you'd like to write together! i promise i'm super open and have no concept of self-preservation and am basically down for whatever.

[✱] What's your OOC alias and age? What's something we can call you?
You can call me Himbos (my username) or my characters' names. Also, I am of legal age!

[✱] How do you prefer to write?
I'd say, for the most part, it's direct and to-the-point paragraphs. Definitely on the more concise and detailed side, and at times, I can be descriptive. I also default to no more than three paragraphs just because I'm a busy bee and do a little of a lot during the week and sometimes weekends. I do it all when I'm not as busy, though. I'll also do script when it calls for it and if I'm tired/lazy.

[✱] What perspective do you prefer to write in?
Usually, third person with other people, and first person in self-paras. I also try to write in the present tense, so it reads more actively. I might mix in a little past tense, but I like present because it helps me imagine better and it feels more alive.

[✱] Do you like to plot or wing more?
I know I'm probably a minority, but typically like to improvise and wing a lot of threads. Sure, plotting is nice and can make things easy, but I don't know... All I need is a setting, vibe, and situation and I can probably write out a starter. I don't like to plot too much of the details of a thread because it the fun and motivation out of writing for me.

[✱] If you prefer to plot, do you like to plan everything out in advance or do you prefer to plan things as you go?
While I don't prefer to plot, I do like to plan things as I go. Like I said, I don't like planning too much of the thread details ahead of time because it out the fun/motivation for me.

[✱] Do you accept random wall starters?
Yes! Just give me a heads up about what kind of starter you want to tag me in and I'll let you know if it's something I can respond to.

[✱] What are some of your preferred genres to write?
I like lighthearted plots, but I don't mind something angsty every so often if it naturally happens. I'm very go-with-the-flow so I like seeing the natural way plots and threads unfold. I'm willing to try plots of all types, but I don't typically like to do pre-established romantic plots that are endgame. I like things to be open and flexible.

[✱] Are you comfortable doing mature threads?
I am, but it depends on chemistry between my muse and yours. It also depends on whether my muse is open to doing more mature things in general.

[✱] What is your general response time for threads?
Anywhere from an hour to... maybe a week, no matter the length. It really just depends on how busy and motivated I am. Another thing is I will probably try to do multiple threads with you if I like how you write and like the way our muses interact/COULD interact, but please do not hesitate to let me know if that's too much for you! Also, I will reply infrequently to different threads. Not for any particular reason other than I like to do whatever is easiest first.

[✱] What would you say is the main thing that holds you back when rping?
Motivation. One minute (usually when I'm busy as hell), I have all the motivation in the world to get things done, and then I'm scrambling for it the next. In my motivated periods, I'm usually writing a lot to where I kind of burn myself out too, so that contributes to some of the problems I have. I need to learn to pace myself sometimes.

[✱] What is something you value and/or look for in a writing partner?
Honesty and... inspiration? Well, in the sense that they'll honestly communicate with me, and that they'll be motivated and inspired enough to make plotting together feel like we're actually plotting together, y'know? That, and it makes me excited to rp with someone who is hype about their muse and hype about wanting to rp. It's infectious and I need that energy around me. It's really important to me to communicate and do it effectively, even though I'm personally slow at responding to people.

[✱] What is the easiest or quickest way to get a hold of you?
I'd say character or discord DMs are usually the way to go.

[✱] Are you reliant on frequent OOC interaction to keep your interest in IC interactions and threads?
Not at all! I ever need to say something OOC, then I like to be able to easily do so, but that's it. Just to be real, I don't care to get to know muns a lot of the time, so I'd like to keep socializing strictly relevant to RP and our muses. I'm very much a go-with-the-flow type of writer, so if you ever feel like you lost muse for our plot, just let me know OOC! I'm chill with dropping plots and starting new ones, or just having our muses interact in the chat only and stuff. Just please communicate with me!

[✱] Anything else you feel we should know?
I don't think so, so just hmu if you wanna write and lmk if you ever have any questions about me and my muses!! I look forward to getting to know yours and interacting with them too!!

[✱] What's your OOC alias and age? What's something we can call you?
⠀⠀― I'm Dee and I'm 24 years old! When it comes to referring to me, please use he/him pronouns.

[✱] How do you prefer to write? (ex: detailed and descriptive paragraphs, lengthy novella posts, small and to the point script posts, etc.)
⠀⠀― I adore writing detailed and descriptive paragraphs that show a lot of the inner thoughts and personal observations of my character. I have done novella many times before, but I'll only do it when it is to mirror someone who also does novella. Personally, though, I prefer just multi-para rather than novellas because they tend to drag things longer.

[✱] What perspective do you prefer to write in? (ex. first, second, or third)
⠀⠀― I prefer third over all else! I do first person only when the situation calls for it or if I wish to mirror someone, but I really do like third the most so if you are able to do third instead of first, then I'd rather we do third.

[✱] Do you like to plot or wing more?
⠀⠀― When I am not busy, I do love being able to plot! However, since I'm busy most of the time, I am only able to really wing or answer random open starters nowadays. I am still open to plotting though! I just take a bit of a while to get back to pms with plot discussions. ;;

[✱] If you prefer to plot, do you like to plan everything out in advance or do you prefer to plan as you go?
⠀⠀― I love planning as we go since the reactions of my characters really depends on how the situation goes or how the other character responds. It also gives us the thrill of not knowing what really happens next until the next reply.

[✱] Do you accept random wall starters?
⠀⠀― Yes, please! I get really excited when people find my character interesting enough to leave a random starter on my wall!

[✱] What are some of your preferred genres to write? (ex: angst, comedy, romance, etc.)
⠀⠀― I adore writing angst, comedy, romance, platonic relationships, and suspense genres! I adore writing things that have so much depth in it to the point of providing our characters a chance to develop within the thread.

[✱] Are you comfortable with doing mature threads?
⠀⠀― I am, but only if the connection between our characters is strong enough and you aren't top chasing me considering the fc and type of character Lou is. (He isn't even a top at all, so please don't aim to ship with me if that's what you are expecting from him.)

[✱] What is your general response time for threads?
⠀⠀― For transparency sake, I have nightshift at work, which means I end up sleeping during the morning and afternoon. The only times I am able to be online to do replies are either during the morning before I sleep, my breaks, and my days off. I do my best to go online at least once everyday, but if I really cannot reply for a long period of time, I will make sure to communicate it!

[✱] What would you say is the main thing that hold you back when rping?
⠀⠀― It might seem stupid and irrational, but I fear that everyone just wants to write with me in hopes of shipping with a "top alpha daddy" character. TT Most of my ocs have personalities that make people think they're such a thing, so it really makes me assume that's all anyone is after. Not to mention they'd be disappointed that my ocs are not what they were expecting -wise if they ever choose to keep holding onto that delusion. TuT

[✱] What is something you value and/or look for in a writing partner?
⠀⠀― Understanding, communication, and eagerness! I tend to get really hyped over writing threads with people, so I like being able to see the same kind of enthusiasm from the other person. It encourages me to know that I am not the only one who is excited over the thread, you know? And of course, I want understanding towards busy schedules, low muse, and slow replies and communication regarding any issues that may arise between us. I want honesty, so if me or my character does something that discomforts you, please confront me right away than keeping it to yourself. I will adjust accordingly and apologize!

[✱] What is the easiest or quickest way to get a hold of you?
⠀⠀― Tags in rooms and character pms! But I am also open to offering my discord if it is easier for you to communicate with me.

[✱] Are you reliant on frequent OOC interaction to keep your interest in IC interactions and threads?
⠀⠀― I don't rely on it entirely, but, like I said, I do find myself being more interested in IC interactions and threads if the mun shows the same enthusiasm as I do. Relying on it would mean that I need an OOC connection for all threads when that is not the case. I can still be interested in interactions and such without frequent OOC conversations.

[✱] Anything else you feel we should know?
⠀⠀― I'm like an overly excited puppy. I tend to type in all caps and act like I'm close friends with you even if we just met. If this makes you uncomfortable, please tell me! Otherwise, I just really adore being able to write in rps like this and I get too excited to interact with all of you. QwQ Hope we can all have fun! If you need anything from me, I'm one pm away. <3
lucky. 6 months ago
[✱] What's your OOC alias and age? What's something we can call you?
⠀⠀― Parsley and 25+! I don't mind being called by my characters name, or by my user name, or even just a shortened version of it, parse.

[✱] How do you prefer to write? (ex: detailed and descriptive paragraphs, lengthy novella posts, small and to the point script posts, etc.)
⠀⠀― I actually love writing in all kinds of styles, although the things that I am not a fan of are: script writing (i'm just really awkward with it) and unnecessarily long novella, and this is because at some point it feels like we just keep repeating things for the sake of length. I don't mind like... multiple para though, just as long as we are moving the story along I don't mind!

[✱] What perspective do you prefer to write in? (ex. first, second, or third)
⠀⠀― I do prefer third, or second, over first. Third being the top one that I use the most, with second I will go back and forth between being first pov and second pov, if i'm honest, but second is still better.

[✱] Do you like to plot or wing more?
⠀⠀― Unless I'm replying to a random starter, or getting a reply to one of mine, I do prefer to plot more! Unless you pm me notifying me that you're gonna send me something random, then once we start in the plotting stage it just is easier for me to start plotting! If we kind of establish how our characters do or don't know each other then I don't mind winging it once we get some based things figured out.

[✱] If you prefer to plot, do you like to plan everything out in advance or do you prefer to plan as you go?
⠀⠀― I definitely like to plan as I go, because more often than not, my characters have a mind of their own. I can tell you one thing and once I start writing out how they would be in the plot, it could be something completely else, and the plot may not go in the direction that we had intended! Unless it absolutely makes sense for the details to be planned out, I just like the freedom of seeing where our characters take us!

[✱] Do you accept random wall starters?
⠀⠀― Yes! Any kind of starters don't bother me at all, even on my wall!

[✱] What are some of your preferred genres to write? (ex: angst, comedy, romance, etc.)
⠀⠀― I am a fan of all kinds of genres! As long as it make sense for the characters / character development and I don't have too much of one genre then I'm okay!

[✱] Are you comfortable with doing mature threads?
⠀⠀― If it makes sense, i'm a little slower with these though!

[✱] What is your general response time for threads?
⠀⠀― If we have a short thread (i.e quick interactions, single para) going on then I *try* to respond within 24 hours, depending on how busy I am that day, but I do *try* to keep all replies within a week of getting them! Unless I'm really busy or trying to figure out muse I don't let it go past two weeks and I do try to communicate if I'm taking longer!

[✱] What would you say is the main thing that hold you back when rping?
⠀⠀― I think honestly, just the idea of asking people to rp? The starting process of it is so intimidating to me, but otherwise I love to plot or write with just about anyone!

[✱] What is something you value and/or look for in a writing partner?
⠀⠀― I just value effort and input, all around I don't want to be putting my effort into something if you're not going to do so, and I don't want to be the one holding the plotting process! I don't care if you take your time as long as I know the effort is there!

[✱] What is the easiest or quickest way to get a hold of you?
⠀⠀― I prefer being reached out by my characters pms, but if you have me on dc then I don't mind that either! Esp if it's quick questions or things like that!

[✱] Are you reliant on frequent OOC interaction to keep your interest in IC interactions and threads?
⠀⠀― Not really? I can barely keep up with ooc things, but i think it's nice if there is some? To see that there is a bit of interest, but once we get through the plotting stages of our plot, I typically stop responding ooc unless we are chatting in the ooc chat!

[✱] Anything else you feel we should know?
⠀⠀― Honestly, I think covered most of everything! All I ask is that if you want to write with me, I don't want to be ghosted or stopped as it probably ruins my chances of wanting to write with you in the future. If you lose muse in a plot or simply don't want to do anything anymore, just let me know, and I will be doing the same for you!
