It still was jarring to Hoseok whenever he'd walk into a room with windows and catch sight of the blackness of the night outside, his wide awake body almost anticipating the sun shining in when it wasn't there. His own bedroom was safely nestled in the interior of the palace, with no outward facing windows that could accidentally let the light of day in and burn the newly turned vampire's delicate skin. It was definitely an adjustment for Hoseok, one he still struggled with, but - then again - so was everything about his life now. There was something about going to the 'Blue' room that helped him somewhat, though. With all the lights on, he could almost trick himself into thinking it was day.
Settling down on the ornate couch that was hardly comfy (but beggars can't be choosers. Why do rich people buy furniture that isn't even comfy?), Hoseok untucked his latest book from beneath his arm and set it in his lap. He'd taken to borrowing books from the library since his confinement because there wasn't much else to do to pass the time in his lonesome. Not to mention he couldn't really afford the luxury of education or books where he used to live... In G, street smarts were the only smarts you needed. Now, he had an eternity ahead of him and he figured he might as well not go through it having a potato between his ears.
a question...
is it possible to ask for two characters from the beginning?
I'm torn between being a human and a vampire, and the only solution I got is getting two characters XD
