@ξ♛ Reito Lamia Grabbing the horse’s rein Kuma stood there watching his Sir get up before letting go so she could grab the horse instead. “Well I might hate you but you are still my sir courtesy dictates me to show concern for you, my lady.” His voice was nothing but polite and soft. It wasn’t the first time Reito had shown such a face to him and he always did his best to stay polite with her droning such hours. “I would never encourage your death as it would harm myself too.” He just said shrugging as he followed the girl to the stall to unsaddle and rub down the horse since even though she didn’t seem to have moved it for a long time it still needed proper care and it was one of his duties to take care of such work.
Kuma was standing next to the bench no words just quietly doing his work and leading the horse into its pen once done. After he returned to stand next to the bench. “My lady the sun is to come up soon I would encourage for you to return to the palace as it will be harmful if you don’t.” He only talked after giving her some time to give in to her emotions taking ever thing she was throwing with a cold indifference of a servant. He could feel her emotions sure but then again, they didn’t mean anything in the deep see of his organized madness they were just a small drip soon dispelled. The bound they had was exhausting to him. Every day and every night a small part if his brain had to be constantly alert and awake to contain the madness infecting his brain from spreading over to his Sirs brain. It took a lot it keeps it in control and it was one of the many reasons he hated the bound. Though Reito herself wasn’t the one stripping his powers she was still the one holding his leash and how could a once proud wild wolf accept his life as a leashed house dog without hate and contempt for the one caging it.
@ξ♞ Kuma Qi Reito knew that Kuma didn't like her but she didn't understand the hatred that he had against her. It was hard living with that weight on her shoulders. Her thoughts had overtaken her mind once more letting her lose focus that she was on a horse yet it was too late as she was thrown off the horse and landed on the ground huffing a bit. She was about to get up but she heard his voice. " thought you hated me" she mumbled having enough his rude behavior. Getting up, she dusted off her pink dress and grabbed her plushie before looking at Kuma with red glowing eyes. " stop acting as if you care so much....bet you would like to see me dead huh? you can deny it too but we all know you would enjoy that" she looked at the horse to calm it down a bit before leading it back to its stall.
Clearly she had enough of the hate, she wanted to understand yet she would not dare as the male vampire. Maybe it was better to keep the hate relationship between them instead of friendly behavior like the other Royals had with their elites. " Just....want a friend..nobody talks to me and the one person i want to count on..hates my guts with a burning passion " she whispered as she passed by Kuma covering her face with her teddy as she was rather sensitive to things especially her emotions. She went to sit on the bench looking down as she cried softly. " you hate me...i can feel it..imagine the constant hate I feel in my heart yet...it won't stop" she whispered these words not caring if the male heard or not.
@ξ♛ Reito Lamia Finally, some peace and quiet only the horses and the wilderness around him. It had taken him a whole day to get away from the loud turbulent and mostly annoying palace. But it was worth every second. For some reason though he was marked insane and crazy and even dangerous animals especially horses seem to take a liking to him. He loved letting the run free and lead them through the more dangerous parts of the old world even sometimes through marked zones but then again it was such a beautiful scenery who could resist. On the other hand, the horse he was riding loved to be let free and to be able to run so it was a good matched pair the two made. Kuma had just finished his hour-long ride returning to the stables when he felt a familiar and hated pull in his mind.
His Sir was here. Even in his mind he spat out the word as if it was an insult. How could someone younger and less powerful then him even think she could control him. His was just too much humiliation and it made every thought in his mind clouded in red anger when ever he thought about it. This wasn’t right. He was now weaker than this girl calling herself his sir and only because some old snob thought he was something better thinking the world would need to be unified and like that.
With his mind clouded in rage he turned to look over to the other person riding a horse on the designed round she was skilled that he couldn’t deny but she held the horse to short and sure enough a few moments later the animal finally rebelled raising it’s front hoofs into the air making the girl fall down. With out any hast or worry but still in a way forced by the sir bound Kuma walked over. “Reito are you ok?” He asked with a voice void of any worry.
@❈♞ Park Chanyeol Everything happened so fast, a blur of fangs and merlot tinted eyes, one moment he was stumbling around lost in the vastness that was the Royal Stables, and the next thing he knew he was being well..grossly violated.
He had never killed a vampire before, despite being an awakened slayer, he was still new, but nevertheless the power of the sun still thrummed through his veins like liquid gold. Within another bat of his lashes, he had regained his composure after the sudden shock of the attack. His neck was burning already and the evil bastard had only barely bitten him. Summoning all his pent up rage and recklessness, Jongin mustered up his new-found slayer strength and slammed the beast backwards into the wall with a loud thud.
Vermilion beads suddenly formed where the other males fangs had slightly grazed, leaving a hot trail of red that started to streak down his neck and over his collarbone, staining the collar of his white shirt. "You bastard, you really ing bit me." He bit out, anger flaring like white hot of flame in his stomach, spreading and mushrooming in his soul like an atomic bomb.
A stream of silver moonlight filtered in from a window above one of the horse stalls, illuminating part of the demonic creatures face in front of him. If Jongin didn't find vampires absolutely vile, he might've said he was impressed with the beast before him. The large leathery wings, the dark wine-red eyes, perfectly white fangs that glistened like purest ivory. A small part of him had always envied vampires, for their strength, power was everything in the world, and vampires had plenty of it.
He reached out suddenly to grab the man's chin, using the weight of his own frame to keep the demon pinned against the stall.
@♙ Kim Jongin The last ray of sunlight disappeared beneath the horizon and the figure slumped against the earth faintly stirred. The thing that sprouted from his back and was sprawled on top of him and across the ground, stirred as well.
The first thing he noticed was the scent.
So heavy in the air was the sweet alluring scent that it made him lift his head up in a daze. Gone was the look of the human male in his eyes. It was replaced with orbs illuminated by fiery hue, almost devilish in the poorly lit environment. Fangs glinting in the dark night as the vampire pushed himself up wordlessly.
The figure - who was once Park Chanyeol - released a guttural snarl as the enticing scent wafted more prominently in the air. His bloodshot gaze glanced around as if in craze, trying to pinpoint the source. There, standing dumbfounded a few meters away from him, was a tall male with wide gaze, sunkissed skin and luscious lips.
Chanyeol wetted his own lips before he bared his fangs and growled. The things behind him unfurled and spread to the sides.
Dragon-like wings spanned from behind him like monstrous shadows. He was then a true Tepes, void of any sanity. Chanyeol lunged towards the latter, teeth bared.
@❈♞ Park Chanyeol What he was doing was suicide, but he couldn’t control himself. Well, he could but more often than not Jongin just simply chose...not to. There was no fun in following the rules and curbing every impulse one might have. Besides, he never turned down a bet. So those were all his reasons, though minuscule in comparison to what would happen if a vampire caught him outside of his designated realm.
He wasn’t even sure how he had managed to make his way in, pure luck he supposed. Taking in a deep breath of cold, crisp, late night air, human pupils dilating under the dull silver shine of the full moon. The color complimented the human males own silvery blonde hair, giving it the appearance of pure liquid mercury.
Another sharp intake of breath was taken, another step into the gaping abyss of darkness. Gravel crunching underneath his boots, barley breaking the heavy silence of night. The sound of approaching foot steps, probably another palace guard, suddenly became eminent. Mentally cursing himself for getting lost in the beauty of the darkness around him, he quickly made his way to the nearest hiding place he could find.
Another breath was taken, this one shakier than the last. His heart thrumming with fear and —a little excitement — Jongin couldn’t help the small smirk that washed over his shining countenance, his back pressed against the cool stone of some building. He wasn’t sure where he was anymore, which would he problem when he needed to get back. But that was a problem for another time. Right now he needed to focus on the bet, he needed to get in, find something he could easily bring back as proof, and then leave.
That was when he heard it, a sudden scream, the sound enough to split lesser men to the bone with fear. It sounded human, but didn’t at the same time, there was something unnatural about the sound, something told Jongin that it hadn’t come from a human, no matter how much it might’ve fooled others. Against his better judgement, he found his feet leading him towards the sound, maybe it was just his morbid curiosity, he wasn’t sure. But before he knew it he found himself in what seemed to be the Royal Stables, the earthy smell of hay and horses piercing his senses.
It didn’t take many more steps for him to come face to face with the eyes of a demon.
Chanyeol found the string of his own consciousness when the sun was setting across the horizon, painting the sky a fiery hue. He was lying face-down upon the bare earthy ground of the stables - he knew he was at the stables when the soft snickers of horses greeted his ears. How did he get here, he didn’t know. Chanyeol could barely recall what he was doing before he passed out. But if something was certain, it was the fact that he was in his room before his consciousness blackened. Wobbling, the newly-turned vampire pushed himself slowly off from the ground and into a sitting position. A wave of dizziness hit him and the tall male growled as he held his temple. Did he drink?? No- This is the first time it happened to him like this. But before he could muster up any further thoughts, a sharp pain hit his head and he doubled over in agony.
Then the thirst came.
He knew what it meant for him the moment he woke up and learned that he’s a bloodthirsty vampire. But he wasn’t ready at all to face it; the intensity of the thirst, the impossible urge to rip out a throat and drain the red elixir of life. To kill. He knew his gaze was bloodshot and his fangs protruding in full view. He knew he looked more of a beast than man. But he was at the mercy of his curse, and it was so, so painful. A snarl tore up his throat as he tried impossibly hard to gain control of his sanity, to not let it slip away.
It hadn’t been long since he was turned and his refusal to feed from a human had led himself to this situation; he realized it now. His own body was rejecting him, his systems failing, and his own beast fighting for control. Chanyeol felt as if his whole body was on fire and it became more excruciating when his shoulder blades shifted. He could literally hear his bones snapped as they shifted into new positions. Something was trying to claw its way out of his back. Chanyeol let out a torturous wail, breaking the silence of the falling dusk. He could almost feel his sanity slipping away. He was losing control.
More bones snapped beneath his skin and instinctively the male tore away his shirt as he doubled over. Just then, the skin of his back split open and blood doused the whole ground, turning the golden sand into the colour of dark crimson.
Chanyeol gave out a final scream of pure agony and gave in to the beast.
@♙ Henry Cavill The reflection struck deep into her gut. Her body was still fresh, vivid, it seemed alive. Her eyes, however, radiated the emptiness she felt. Tears had ruined her makeup but even those seemed to be empty by now. It was around this time of the year that the sadness overtook her body, made her limp. For 400 years now it had been the same, the same feeling crushing her into thousand pieces, every year. Would this ever stop? Would she ever be free from those feelings? Could she ever forget?
The answer was ‘no’, of course, and she knew that it would forever stay this way, damned for immortality. Forever seemed so long, too long. How often had she wished to be dead? It was the same every single year. She should have gotten used to it by now but she hadn’t. Never would.
Her fingers clutched into her stomach, nails digging deep into the soft flesh. It hurt, pained her freaking much but she kept pressing tighter and tighter. The pain kept her alive.
“My baby----” Tears streamed down her face again. She couldn’t take it anymore. The pain of losing, the guilt of being at fault for what had happened it was heavy on her graceful shoulders.
Get dressed. Go out. Do something.
A voice inside her head screamed at her. She caught herself again, managed to run her mind at a normal speed. Looking at her reflection again made her sigh. He would have been a beautiful boy, especially considering how his father had looked like, how beautiful he was for a human----
No. Don’t think about it. Don’t think about it. He is long dead forget him. Forget your sins.
While she couldn’t, she still forced herself to finally get dressed. But even after having a jeans and a black shirt cover her body she stared at her stomach, rested her hand on it. Breath. Just breath. Her honey brown curls rested against her shoulder and for a moment she was considering to colour them black again to fit her devastated mood. However, that was a matter for later.
Maybe she just needed some fresh air to stream though her body. Even in 400 years she hadn’t found any solution to not feel the pain anymore. Though maybe she also just didn’t want to forget. Suffering would not bring her baby back to her but it seemed like that was the last connection to her little boy. It was as if it brought back the feeling of his tiny hand in hers. The warmth she had felt when she had held him in her arms. It had been less than a day with him before she had been forced to----
For the sake of her mind she stopped those thoughts, tried to delete them, erase them from her brain. It would break her too much to go as far as naming it. Going to the bathroom she tried to save the mess that the tears had left in her face. It was all about illusion. Andy wanted to keep the illusion that she was fine. Not only for others but for herself too.
One last deep breath got her to actually leave her room. The palace was way too huge and it took her forever to get outside but she didn’t want to teleport herself, didn’t feel at all like using any of her powers. Being a vampire had gotten her to the pain. If only they could have been together, all three, a happy human family. Why hadn’t she been asked what life she wanted to live?
Finally having found her way out of the palace a cool breeze hit her skin. Something familiar struck her---a scent that stopped her heart from beating for a few seconds only to intensify by what felt like thousand beats. Andy caught herself running even though her mind had not quite realized what was going on yet. Running and running like a madman, she only came to a stop when she saw the stables in front of her. The scent now intensified, was so close that it drove her crazy. Where was he?
And then she saw him. Broad shoulders, white, long hair, the scent now clearer than before. It was him. In an instant, she had forgotten about everything, about what year it was, about her pain and suffering from before, everything.
“William!” She finally shouted to evoke a reaction from him. As she was still a bit away from him in terms of distance she ran towards him, throwing herself at him and glomping him. “Will, I missed you so much. Where did you disappear to? Don’t just leave me without a word. But it doesn’t matter, I am so happy you are back.”
Andy placed her right hand on his chest and pulled his head closer to hers with her left to press her lips against his. Her whole body was engulfed by the warmth of his lips, the sensation that ran down her spine made her shiver. His lips, his scent, her body against his, it all carried her away into a sweet fantasy.
a question...
is it possible to ask for two characters from the beginning?
I'm torn between being a human and a vampire, and the only solution I got is getting two characters XD
