@❈♞ Park Chanyeol „You're always allowed to speak freely.“ The princess mumbled while stroking her lions head, glancing up again she tilted her head not understanding why he insisted her to meet up with the council. „There is still my sister the Queen and her children. I'm not needed by the council. It's their decisions that count“ even saying those Beth slid down from the swing stumbling faintly when her feet touch floor underneath. Sighing she pushed her shoulders back trying to look composed.
She reached out her hand finding his. When her smaller one got a hold of his, she walked closer to the guard.
@☪♛ Beth Sekhmet The sight of the lionesses leering at him didn’t really faze him. But if they did attack, Chanyeol would call on his wolves. They’re not seen, but they’re definitely around. His amber gaze trailed to meet the orbs of the blind princess; he took in the pale blueish white irises silently.
“I must insist, your highness.” The ancient murmured. “Apologies for sounding so bold, but the society is ruled by royals. Not by those lords. The council’s final decisions should be your call, not theirs.” Chanyeol wasn’t the type to persuade anything or anyone. He’d rather have an attitude of indifference. But the sight of the princess being locked away in her chambers with only lions as her companions, the tall male couldn’t help but to feel protective of her. “Come, Princess. I’ll walk you through it today.” He promised softly and held out his hand towards her.
@❈♞ Park Chanyeol After some time her movements stilled and she leaned her head against the swing chain. It was quiet around her rooms only the calm breathing of her familiars broke the silence thus she heard the approaching footsteps befor the knock on the door. Once hearing the knocking on the wood and opening of her door the bigger one of the lionessess stood up to it's full height, taking on a posture as if it wanted to pounce on the intruder, a low growl vibrated through the room alarming the other familiars.
Reaching out a hand Beth hummed soothingly, calming her loyal friends. The biggest lioness pushed it's head into her palm with a soft purr making the princess emit a soft chuckle. She turned her head towards the voice, her silk covered eyes trained on the male who entered. „My apologies, they don't like strangers coming in here“ she paused contemplating her next words, she didn't want to sound rude for declining but she didn't feel like meeting other Vampires.
Lowering her head she took a deep breath before answering „I once again have to apologies your the inconvenience. I would rather have breakfast in my chambers and... the lords don't need my presense at their assembly.“ She mumbled softly. It was the truth afterall she wasn't needed in any of the assemblies or other meetings, she couldn't be of use to anyonem, hence she was only a burden through the war. Needing protection most of the time than fighting for her people. Like a princess should.
@☪♛ Beth Sekhmet The soft clap of his boots against the marble floor was loud and resonated through the silence of the early morning. It was slightly near 8 in the morning yet the palace was already bustling with maids going on and about their duties. It wasn’t long since Chanyeol had arrived to this palace from a faraway land that was his birthplace. It was under the explicit order of the Guild of Hunters that he was to travel to the capital city of the new empire and lend a hand in fighting of the army of vampire slayers. Their numbers are increasing by the day and the Guild feared for the lives of the royalties in the capital. Added to that, even the lords of each clans had been pressuring the Guild to eradicate the slayers once and for all. Hence, Chanyeol was here on a mission. Unfortunately he hadn’t received any orders yet, and for the moment, he was tasked to care for a certain Sekhmet princess and accompany her throughout the day.
It was something uncommon for the ancient vampire; guarding and protecting someone. All of his life, he’d spent most of his destroying, killing, punishing and torturing people. Not caring, protecting and preserving life. Hence, it was somewhat awkward and odd to him as he stood in front of her chambers. Swallowing back a sigh, he knocked on her door. “Forgive me, your highness. I am tasked to you to breakfast and then to the morning assembly with the lords. They’re waiting.” He said in his usual deep baritone voice, emotionless and straight to the point.
@❈♞ Park Chanyeol The sun filtering through the wafting white curtains awoke the lioness lying closest to the still slumbering princess. The familiar rose from the silken sheets, it's white fur shimmering in the sun as it moved to the bed. Seated on it's hind legs the lioness thumped it's wet nose against the pale hand peeking out from under the blanket. The small figure under the blanket stirred and sat up slowly, the silken cloth slid down revealing pale golden locks sticking out to all directions, pale blueish-white eyes and porcelain like skin.
Taking the white colored silk tie from her nightstand. After binding the tie behind her head hiding her eyes, she slipped out from her bed. Her hand placed on the neck of her lioness she let her familiar lead her to the bath. She took a long and refreshing bath with floral scented oils and colorful flower petals before finally getting out of the bath tub with the help of her lioness. She reached out to the hanger where one of her dresses always hung. She had memorised her chambers by heart but with the countless of other rooms withing this place the princess felt utterly helpless despite having her familiar around. Fastening the golden clasps at the shoulders, the white smooth fabric flowed around her bare feet.
She left her bathroom and stepped back into the bedchambers. Her steps brought her to the cushioned swing. Beth pulled herself up and sat on it, the tinkling sound of the bells resonating through the room woke up her other two lionessess. Making them get up and jump on her bed curling up once again, their tails swish back and forth as their watchful eyes settle on their princess.
With small movements of her legs she swinged back and forth faintly, a small sigh escaping her plush pink lips.
a question...
is it possible to ask for two characters from the beginning?
I'm torn between being a human and a vampire, and the only solution I got is getting two characters XD
