@ꕥ♛ Andy Bathory His heart stuttered at hearing her "I love you", yet he did not hesitate in repeating the words back to her. His plumps lips pressed against her ear as he whispered it, his voice shaking in both the excitement and his nervousness. Why was he nervous to hear and speak such words? Possibly it was due to his hearing it with practically fresh ears. Although Hoseok remembered many things about his relationship with Andy, the things that he had remembered were a bit foggy. So, hearing her state that she loved him, it was as if she were saying it for the first time. It was something that made him know that his memories of them were true. That they truly loved each other. Especially since the words rolled off his tongue with ease.
Her confirmation of it being awhile seemed to excite Hoseok even more. His throbbed in Andy's tight heat, his fingers tightening in hers, sand trapping between them. "So then..." He grunted as his hips rammed against hers with force. "I should make up for it, hm?" It was pleasurable to watch Andy's face contort in pleasure, how well she took it. It did not matter if he was being rough or gentle with her frail-looking body, she seemed to enjoy every second of it. And with her moans, Hoseok's followed after. The sounds of her pleasure turned him on just as much as the friction between her and his .
In their position, Hoseok could see it all. Her face, s, stomach, and if he looked down just enough, the way her took him in. The way she looked, stretched around him, sent shivers down his spine. Did he think this way before? Did his body feel so electrified with the way she ate him up? How was it that he would forget something so extraordinarily pleasurable? His brows furrowed, eyes falling heavily as he let out a long moan.
It was certainly something that e promised himself he would not forget again. No matter how delightful and new it felt with everything so faded. With their coming together once more.
Andy's legs fell from his shoulders, and Hoseok would have readjusted them if she had not already settled herself on his lap. Her small bumped pressed gently into his stomach as the rest of her seemed to desperately grab for him. Hoseok's hands smoothed over her thighs and up towards the arch of her back, his hips rolling up with hers. Her lips were heavenly as they danced across his tanned skin. His muscles flinched and tensed almost in anticipation as her fangs gently ran over the veins in his neck. Will she bite him? Was he really okay with that? Something tugged at his heart, telling him that an act could cause strain on him. But he did not think anything of it...more so, he did not have time to. As the next thing he knew, she was his blood.
"Oh ,' he hissed in response to her fangs piercing his skin. Yet, in what seemed like seconds, immense pleasure flowed over him once more. He remotely remembered her biting him, but it could have been a dream, as that memory...he had not felt like this. That memory, he seemed afraid...and he would never be afraid of Andy. And besides, this made his pleasure add up tenfold, causing his body to tremble and sting all over. God, if he wanted her bad earlier, he would go crazy if he didn't have her now.
He grabbed for her bottom, her cheeks so beautifully rounded from the position that she sat in. At the moment, Hoseok did not care to keep his grip on her in check-his finger curled into his skin, digging into the softness that her buttocks provided. He massaged the plush skin, pulling and tugging it for his own personal pleasure. Using it as a leverage to make her bounce a little faster on his length, causing him to moan lowly in her ear.
Once again, the pain was sudden, this time a bit more emphasized with her fangs cutting through a boney area. But once more, immense pleasure took over him, making his throb needily in her. , he wanted her, but this position was not allowing him to ram into her just how he wanted. And the restriction from her pregnancy was causing a mental block from him being rough with her. "Satisfied?" His voice was low, nearly animalistic with the heightened lust for her. Was it her goal for him to react to her venom in such a way, for his hips to jerk up in a less steady movement than before?
It was as if the question was answered when she pulled him down to lay nearly flat atop her. Her tongue slipping against his with such ease. A metallic taste rushed into his mouth as his kiss with Andy deepened. It was only a little, the same amount that one would have when receiving a papercut. It was an unpleasant taste to him, but it could not be helped, not with the way that sharing his blood with her seemed to turn Andy on.
And she was, as soon, her legs jerked and her body convulsed in pleasure, signs that she had her release. Her chest pressed against his from her pulling him into an embrace. But Hoseok was not yet finished, having struggled to prevent his from coming too soon. Hoseok's hips snapped into Andy's, pushing her legs down as far as possible with her pregnant body. "J-just let me," he huffed out, his voice straining as his own started to rise. He wanted to warn her that he was not yet done, but it was obvious enough with the way his hips started to erratically slam against her plump .
Finally, Hoseok's head dropped into Andy's shoulder as he came. His hips jerked and forward a few more times through his ic spasms until he was finally left breathing just as heavily as Andy. "Well...this'll be quite the mess to clean up," he said with a weak chuckle. He needed to figure out his to pull out of her without getting all over the jacket that she laid on. It was not like he could just off and buy a new one. But he would have to manage.
Hoseok pulled slowly out of Andy, a hand hovering just beneath her emptying entrance in case his followed with it. "How was it?" he asked in an innocent manner. Well, as innocent as a man that was cleaning out a woman's could be. He held his discarded briefs beneath her, letting any excess flow onto the cloth so that she would not have to walk around with it dripping down her legs later. "I am guessing we never thought of having on a beach before."
Once Andy was cleaned, Hoseok pulled on his pants, making a disgruntled face due to never having to go commando before. It was an uncomfortable thing, and he knew for sure that if he weren't careful, he would end up chafing his balls. "Do you need help?" He asked as he picked up Andy's dress, scrunching it up so that she could put it on with ease. They could stay at the lake for longer, but with the ruined clothing, Hoseok was not sure if that would be the right idea. But he said nothing else, not until he and Andy were once again fully dressed.
"Should we make our way back home? Are your legs okay?" His eyes drifted to Andy's thighs as if he could see the pain from possible muscle strain. He lay back down onto his jacket, pulling Andy against him as if he did not already ask if she wanted to be home. His thin fingers brushed through her hair, combing out the tangles that had formed. "It is a nice day today, who knew that this place could become so warm."
@♙ Jung Hoseok • Her body turned into a mess from his touches. She had not expected her body to turn this aroused from mere teasing before he actually started to give her just what she needed. His tongue worked wonders on her and she couldn’t tell whether it was from her body having experienced a low from them not having had before or because it were her pregnancy hormones making her all the more sensitive. Whatever it was, she could have right there just from his tongue pushing into her and the of her most sensitive spot. She wanted more even with being sensitive already, she wanted her folds to embrace his , to have him settle deep inside of her heat.
It turned more wild, more heated with their kiss as she could taste herself from his lips and tongue. Even with them being in the open the scent of rose up in her nose as their scents mingled between them. It was the first time that she did not need to restrain and control herself, the first time her true nature would not need to be hidden. The moment took her over and she almost didn’t notice how her canines morphed into her fangs. Only as her own tongue brushed over them did she notice the sharp ends of them. Not needing to hold back in any way led to her showing him her vampire side. Even if she had taken blood from him that night, he most probably had not seen the fangs only sensed them, and it had not all been out of pleasure and arousal.
“Of course I am impatient.” She groaned through swollen lips as she worked on his clothes. She would have scolded him for being the one who had turned her on like this and made her all needy but it was hard to form words as her thoughts were too clouded to properly think about such nonsense as to what to say.
Their lips on each other felt like a sweet fantasy, wild in action but lovingly just as much. Andy tried to cover her fangs behind her upper lip to not hurt him any way even though she herself wouldn’t have minded a bit of his blood to drop between them. His words felt like a promise but it had her even more impatient. Her folds were still as wet from her arousal as she desperately rubbed herself against him as she couldn’t take the emptiness of her hole any longer. “Hoseok...” She moaned his name once more as she grabbed onto his back again as a way to order him to hurry up.
A breeze had her s harden instantly as the bra was removed from her body leaving her body in what felt even more sensitive. Andy threw her head back, loudly as his hard length finally pushed into her. The push had been quicker and more forcefully than she had expected with him tending to be more on the soft side. Though, it had been just what she needed. Being back together like this still felt like a fantasy that slowly melted into reality. “It has...” She whispered as if Andy sound louder than that would have crashed the atmosphere.
As his hands found hers and their fingers intertwined while they were at the sides of her head, a loving expression radiated from her eyes. The touch felt soft and innocent, a feeling that had her heart beat a little faster in her chest. The grinding led to her walls clench around him even tighter. “I love you.” spoke before her head had even processed her own words. Her fangs showed as she smiled up at him just before she was taken over by another moan. All these feelings for him, she had never expected that they would end up at such a point. Hearts, emotions, feelings, they were all quite unpredictable but with everything that had happened, the good and the bad, she was glad to be at this point with him. Hoseok was her happiness, ever losing him again would kill her.
A satisfied groan rushed past her lips as he started to gently move in her. The kiss felt almost too soft as she wanted everything to be a little more rough and intense. She tried to deepen the kiss but it only led to his lips being removed from hers, not that there was anything to complain about with the way he her s and neck. Her fangs brushed over her lower lip as his s became more forceful. Her whole being craved something that she had never done with Hoseok before but her body lusted for it.
The pleasure she felt from his s graced her face with a sinful gleam. Her fangs showed whenever she threw her head back due to how the s hit just the right spots. The position he had changed into had waves of bliss run through her body. She was close to breaking from all the sensations but her body, and even more so her vampire being, moved on instinct rather than thoughts. Andy was already closer, wouldn’t have needed it the slightest but it would add up even more to the ecstasy she felt. The only reaction to his compliment was a loving smile that she managed to form her lips into but she didn’t manage to form any words anymore.
Andy grabbed onto his arms and then shoulders to pull herself up onto his lap with the energy that she surprisingly still had left in her body. Her hands held onto him as she clung her body to his, her hips rolling on to cause more friction between them. Her lips found his for another heated kiss, one in which she still kept her fangs under control. She then brushed her lips down to his jaw over to his earlobe where her lips nibbled gently. It led her further down to his neck where gentle kisses turned into heated . His scent drove her crazy and restraining herself turned into an impossible challenge. Her lips parted to free her fangs, she brushed them over his skin at first just until she had found the right spot. Her fangs pierced into his neck and she rolled her eyes back at the sensual taste. It brought her to another high as she drew a few drops of his blood from him having the slightest portion of her venom mix with his blood.
It was sinful and sensual at the same time as it brought her to an unbelievable high even more intense than the two other times that they had had . Andy pulled out again over the two marks from her fangs almost like a kitten would take milk. Combined with his s and the rolling of her hips, she was close to dissolve into the pleasure. But she was greedy and wanted more of that sensation knowing, or more so hoping, that it gave him the same pleasure. She bit him further up at his neck, then close to his collarbone leaving him in marks of tiny holes. Pleasure was the biggest factor as to why she rammed her fangs into his skin, taking drops of the slayer blood but a possessive side of her played along too. Hoseok was hers, the one she loved, the father of her children, the only man she ever wanted to be with and as such she wanted to claim him.
“God...” She moaned as their bodies moved in union. The sensitivity of her body was at its peak and she knew that she wouldn’t last any longer with all the waves of bliss, the feeling of ecstasy. Andy moved backwards to lay on the jacket again pulling him with her so that he hovered right above her again. Her fangs reached for his neck one last time before sharing the last few drops left in with him in a heated kiss. Her body exploded into what felt like a million fireworks with one last of his. Andy pulled him down even closer into a hug as she came with one last loud moan. Her breathing was heavy as her body moved up and down lightly from the exhaustion. She pulled Hoseok in for another gentle kiss to savour the waves of her high as one with him.
@ꕥ♛ Andy Bathory Hoseok could have sworn that he had mentioned a few things regarding their relationship before. But possibly Andy had not noticed due to being stressed out. With the strain of needing to help him learn to walk properly again, all whilst being pregnant, of course, she may not have heard his reminiscence. But the excitement in her eyes now, it made it all worth her not processing his previous words. It was as if Andy glowed with this new-found information. "Andy, the ual things are not the only ones that I remember. I only remember two occasions...did we possibly do it more than that? I know we went to my childhood home as well." Hoseok wanted to ask Andy if she had met his parents, as he is unable to recall their faces during their visits. However, his thoughts had already traveled elsewhere.
It would be odd to think of his family's faces all while his hands searched her body in such an unholy manner.
"And I have said it, you just weren't listening until now," his lips whispered the words against hers. Maybe now that she was no longer having to worry about his health, Andy could truly focus on what was going on between them, and even be more mindful of her changing body. Hoseok wished that this never happened to them especially not when Andy was already dealing with the stress of the pregnancy. That alone caused enough problems, what with the societal views of a half-breed. Andy did not deserve the pain that the world seemed to put her through.
The genuine confusion that Andy laid out confused Hoseok as well. Was it not clear what he was doing, as his hands caressed and d over her body? It made Hoseok almost believe that she did not want it. Possibly the public space was just too much, after at least two weeks of being celibate. (Hoseok was not aware of the violence that was acted upon her by him, and the strain in the relationship that he had caused). But Andy soon unraveled under his touch, her voice softly his name, it was angelic. He never wanted somebody so much, he knew that. Never wanted to have a woman's legs wrapped around him. Andy, he knew, had changed his views on certain things, such as being merely for reproduction.
To think that he was actively seeking it out because he was overcome with was baffling to him. And maybe with the way Andy reacted, it was a surprise to her too. Yet she hadn't hesitated in letting him know just what he should be doing with his mouth instead of teasing her. With her as wet as she was, he could not blame her for the aggressive way that she told him to do just as she had requested in the past. "So impatient," he murmured as his hands pulled back her soaked underwear.
Andy was wet, soaked, just from words and kissing alone. It had Hoseok wonder, as her juices tried to cling to both her underwear and her body, if she was this aroused because she is always like this, or if the pregnancy caused her hormones to skyrocket? Whatever it was, it made him feel as if he were doing a good job on her, and with her "oh god" as his tongue slipped between her folds, it made all the more clear just how sensitive her body was. He used his thumbs to pull back the folds of her soaked heat, giving him better access to her dripping entrance and beautifully reddening oris.
His tongue up from her hole to her , her pooling over his tongue before he swirled it around the bean between her legs. Her moans with each time his tongue ran over the most sensitive part of her womanly heat caused his plump lips to wrap around the small mound, on it gingerly before he decided to plunge his tongue as deep into her as it could go. Her walls tightened around the muscle, even more so when his fingers made work on rubbing her oris. His tongue of her, his teeth bumping both into his fingers and her pleasured spot. Her moans caused him to moan in response and even more so did he when she suddenly dragged her nails into his shoulders and chest as she dragged him up to her.
His chin was wet with the evidence of her arousal and his own saliva. But Andy did not seem to mind, not with the way she desperately kissed him, their tongues mingling together. Something that he had never felt before while kissing Andy happened. A random pain, that was soon masked by Hoseok's own pleasure. However, the more aggressive their kiss became, the more he noticed this stabbing sensation against his lips and tongue. When Andy pulled away to state for him to her, that is when it processed just what it was. As her lips parted from her catching her breath, Hoseok noticed the elongation of her canines into fangs. He had never seen them before, well not on her, and especially not so close.
The sight of them, they made her swollen, wet lips look all the more kissable...rather, able. They looked less innocent, and just why did she look even ier like that? Was it all due to her finally allowing herself to lose all control ually?
Before Hoseok could fully process her request, Andy was already stripping him of his shirt and her own clothes. "You're rather impatient," Hoseok commented as if he hadn't gotten them into this position in the first place. And as if he did not hurriedly help her with freeing his from his, very restricting, pants. He kissed her back with the same amount of passion that she gave him, though he was careful to not be stabbed by her sharp fangs now that he knew they were there.
Her legs rubbed along his thighs, trying to pull him in, for his to finally enter her desperate hole. Hoseok moaned as his tip rubbed over her, still very wet, parts, his precum mixing with the juices that clung to her folds. "I will, don't worry, I am not going anywhere," he mumbled to her, his voice husky from his arousal. Before he tried to enter her, Hoseok kicked away his pants and then proceeded to, too aggressively, take Andy's bra off, wanting to see her tattooed body in its full glory.
Hoseok did not hesitate after that, his hand quick to guide his throbbing length to her beautiful heat, pushing into her fully, until his balls pressed into her small bottom. He let out a choked sound, his eyes rolling as he fell forward, his body hovering just above hers as he processed the pleasure from being completely engulfed by her body. "Andy," he groaned into her ear as he blindly searched for her hands to hold. "Mm...it's been awhile....hasn't it," he continued to mumble. He should have entered her slowly, but for some reason his body decided to do the opposite. Was it the impatience of his wanting to be one with her too, was it a territorial thing of his where he felt the need to push so deep into her right away? Possibly it was both.
Once his hands found hers, he pushed them to the sides of her head, intertwining their fingers as he began to grind his hips against her. He was not ready to into her, to her just how she obviously wanted him to, not when he was this sensitive and possibly ready to in seconds if he were to do more than this right now. The gentle movements inside her, the ways her walls clenched around him, they were enough to make him moan shamelessly.
Although he was not quite ready to, his hips started to roll back, ing gently into Andy as his lips found hers. His tongue ran over her teeth and then her tongue. It was a gentler kiss than before, and when Andy would start to put in more force, Hoseok would pull away just to kiss and her neck and s.
As his s became more forced, enough to make her small s bounce, Hoseok sat up, kneeling in the sand as his hands moved from hers to her milky, tattooed thighs. Hoseok has only seen Andy's body in the shadows of his hut, and by God, the sight of her being a mess beneath him, it was enough to get him off right then and there. But he wanted her, and wanted to screw her for as long as he could (who knew when he'd be in this mood again), so he strained himself to not just over the matter of how her face looked when he hit her just right. The speed of his hips increased and her ankles were propped up onto his shoulders so that his s could angle upwards with ease.
"/God/ you're beautiful," he said between heavy breaths, stuttering out the words.
@♙ Jung Hoseok Listening to his memories from the past brought a smile to her lips. Five years old Hoseok must have been quite a cute, happy boy. It was crazy to think that, if she had come to live in the palace years earlier, she could have seen him like that and not know him as only the grown man that he was now. “You really love your family a lot, don’t you?” It reminded her of the fight with her mother, of how she had never seen her again after having been repudiated. A real family like Hoseok had had must be really special. After years of running away maybe the twins were now going to be her way of settling down. Would it ever return to be the same again with Hoseok? Would they ever have the chance to be a truly happy family with their babies? There were so many obstacles on their way that Andy couldn’t tell what the future had prepared for them, especially with him only remembering the past before her as far as she was aware of it.
Swimming sounded nice as she hadn’t done in forever. The time that she had lived by the ocean had faded into the past long ago. Plus, it wasn’t all too fun by herself, she preferred being with someone for it. “You don’t need any clothes to swim, briefs work fine too or just don’t wear anything at all, it’s not like anyone will watch us. Just watching is boring, believe me.” She could also always buy that stuff for him in St. Petersburg or realm A if he didn’t feel comfortable without. Andy didn’t want him to have any excuse to back out of it. “Let’s spend a nice day here in the future.” In a moment like this she wished to have the ability to look into the future just like the royal Sekhmet family could. Maybe foreseeing could show her that everything was going to be okay with no need for worry. She wanted to know if one day she would sit at this exact spot with Hoseok, lean against his shoulder and watch their two young kids play by the water.
Her heart skipped at beat at his words. “You know that I don’t like the cold?” She repeated as she stared up at him with what was shock reflecting on her face. How could he know that with having lost his memory? Andy hadn’t mentioned anything about it ever since he had woken up from his short coma. Or was it just a very small detail that somehow had been saved in his brain? Because of that she almost missed his comment about next winter but somehow it ended up running through her brain as her heartbeat pulsated in her ears. “Next winter we won’t be alone anymore.” Andy whispered and almost automatically looked down at her bump even if the loose dress mostly covered it.
Hoseok hesitated, of course he would. Andy felt stupid as she should have known that this would make him feel uncomfortable. Why would he want to kiss her when he couldn’t even remember ever doing that before? It would be strange for him. “I should ask... and maybe I shouldn’t have asked at all... sorry for making you feel uncomfortable.” She felt the need to apologize and maybe it would have been best for her to also move away and keep some distance between them. That might make him feel more comfortable. She was scared to lose him over her body craving his touch and closeness. Andy had to accept that things wouldn’t return to normal that easily---
“You remember?” Blood rushed through her body, pulsated in her ears again as she stared at him with what an expression of shock and confusion again. Was he serious? Or did he just try to calm her from worrying too much? What if all this was a lie or even worse just a fantasy of hers that didn’t actually take place at this moment? His next comment had her push all the worries aside. It was something that she hadn’t told him ever since he lost his memory. He remembered her, he really did. Tears formed at the corners of her eyes as Andy got emotional. “Why didn’t you tell me earlier? Idiot...” She mumbled but it was meant in a lovingly and soft way. “But why do you remember this and not anything else? There is still stuff missing from your memory---did the memories about me just return recently? Step by step?” Andy was relieved at this point, even if million questions still ghosted through her head, she calmed more. Everything would somehow return to normal, he would hopefully remember everything again soon. Even if he didn’t, he had confessed his love again in his state now. “God Hoseok, this all had me so scared... I thought you would push me away, not love me again...”
At was as his lips brushed over hers that she felt at home again. His tongue over her lips washed all worries away and with the sound of the water and the light breeze of the wind radiating between them it was as if she was carried into a world far away from this one. Her arms wrapped around his neck as her lips moved against his sensually, heat took her over as she leaned into the touches all over her body. Her own hands roamed all over his body and it was as if she wanted to put everything they had missed out on into this kiss. Ever since the night of him figuring out that she was a vampire, they hadn’t been like this. She had missed this heat and closeness even with her having been scared of his touch before. No one else would ever be able to have her feel this way. Loving him made her crave this sensation and it was highly different from only physical relationships of the past.
“What are you doing?” Andy whispered as she was highly confused what his touches were about even though her brain and pregnancy hormones had her already think in a direction that might not at all have been his intention. She held onto him leaning her head to a side to give more access to her neck as he held her like this. “Hoseok...” She breathed out as a light moan, her pulse racing from the direction where it might lead. Did he really want this? Andy for sure knew that she craved his touch. Her brain had completely pushed aside the memories of the night when he ed her brutally and almost killed her. She should have been afraid of this but her hormones did not leave any space for that thought. Maybe she had reached the point to forget about it and never have the fear and danger creep up in her again.
She allowed his movements to lead and control her until her back hit the jacket which he had placed on the sand. Her stare up at him was lusty as the thoughts of had already clouded her mind and took over her body. Andy was highly aroused, which was proved by the juices between her folds. “As if.” It were her only words reacting to the teasing and that grin made her almost want to shake him but her body was in too much of a heat to join in on any joking and teasing. At least he was more open and less shy now even with losing his memory. Luckily, those times and their emotions had not been deleted from his mind as it seemed. She didn’t want to restart with washing away his shyness.
Andy felt the sand on the skin of her arms as she placed them there. Her body arched into his touches and kisses as he pleased her body and she became more and more impatient to feel him without clothes on. She craved his body more than ever before as her heat rushed through her whole body. As his finger ran over the lace she moaned wanting more of that touch. “Stop talking and do it.” She commanded as she got more impatient. Her hand reached out to run through his hair, hold onto it the moment he finally removed her . Without second thoughts he guided his head almost like he had done before as she had played with his . “Oh god!” Her back arched even more as his lips touched her heat, his tongue pleasing her. Andy couldn’t stop herself from whenever he brushed over her most sensitive spot. The pleasure clouded her mind, had her forget everything like the high of a drug. Though a drug would never make her feel like this, the high she craved was only one from .
Soon she noticed that she craved more than this. The way he pleased her felt amazing but Andy craved more, she wanted to be filled up with his while kissing him endlessly. She grabbed onto his clothes and pulled him back up to her, maybe it was her heat or maybe the fact that he hadn’t concentrated on his strength too much but she managed to do so easily. Her lips crashed against his and her tongue rushed into his hot cavern. The mixture of his scent and taste mixed with the one from her heat aroused her even more. “ me.” She panted out as her foreheads were pressed against each other, their breaths mingling. It felt more sensual and passionate than ever before as they lay like this and all that she wanted was for their bodies to be connected again.
It hit her hard as she noticed that they still had too many clothes on something highly disturbing in a moment like this. With rushed motions she pulled his t-shirt over his head and threw it next to her. Her hands ran over his tanned chest but she soon went over to her own dress, sitting up lightly to pull it over her head so that she was only dressed in her bra. Though instead of taking care of that she unbuckled his pants and pushed them down with his briefs the best she could. Her position beneath him was not at all the best to do so but she couldn’t care less as all she wanted was to feel him inside of her. Her hands cupped his cheeks and she pulled him down for another heated kiss while rubbing her legs against his. “ me.” She breathed out once again staring into his eyes with lust gleaming from hers. Never before had she felt this needy, the pregnancy hormones drove her lust up to the peak.
As the days had gone by, Hoseok had regained bits and pieces of his memory. As his memory improved, his relationship with Andy made much more sense. It also made him feel even more attached to her, as she was the only person that he could recollect that he was happy with. It was interesting, he could remember nothing about his family, still not quite understanding what Andy had meant by their being gone. Had she met his parents? He does remember her being at his childhood home, setting up a place for them to sleep in the living room. He could only conclude that they had met.
Strange though, why didn't they just sleep in his bedroom, especially if they were ually active? Then again, he did live in his own place, and his ual urges have always been minimal to none. it was interesting, if not confusing, to him that he even considered losing his ity to her. As, if he remembered correctly, the first time he had with her, he did not even know her. All he knew was that he may have been tricked at the time, and neither of them expected to fall for the other. He just knew that his feelings for this woman were real and were not due to her using her abilities. Besides, a Bathory's ability was to make someone lust after them, not to make them fall in love. And Hoseok certainly wasn't lustful, as he was as he usually was. He didn't have a need for , no matter how beautiful Andy was to him.
He knew for sure that, now, she was not trying to force him into loving on her ually, even the second time that he could remember: his memory made it clear to him that he wanted to consummate due to his love for her. Despite only knowing each other for such a short period of time, Hoseok knew that he wanted her in every way possible. And if it were legal and physically possible, he would be by her side until the end of time. He loved her, and he would protect her (knowing that he can, seeing as to how he is a Slayer and has already killed to protect her). He would kill again, he knew that even if his mindset (though he wasn't aware that it was) was much different than when he had.
"I hadn't?..Mm, possibly it was because it was too cold at the time. Today is warm, and there is no snow on the ground. I am assuming that it was snowing a lot when I met you?" At least that is what he could remember. They had spent much of their time inside, sitting by the fire due to it being cold out, or even just walking around in the snow. It would not have made much sense to come to the lake at that time, seeing as to how it would have been covered in snow and ice. And would have been much too cold for Hoseok to handle...He enjoyed the winter, but sometimes, even he understood when the weather was too extreme to be out.
Hoseok left his shoes in the sand as he took Andy's hand again, pulling her along so that they could get closer to the water. "I remember quite a lot of things, but I can't exactly say off the top of my head. I do know that I started to learn how to hunt around five with my sister and father. Just because food is a necessity, and more hands-on with that, meant more food on the table...A lot of my childhood has been just trying to survive. But we did have fun at times. But my dad wasn't really part of it...he is a very serious man." Of course, Hoseok never really knew why his father acted the way that he did, nor did he realize that he ended up turning to be just like him. Though he respected his father, it was very clear he loved his children and wife, as he would show them plenty of affection when necessary. Hoseok would not have been upset to know that he had become just like him.
Hoseok noted the pink tinge of Andy's cheeks, finding the blush that formed on her face much more attractive. It was interesting that a vampire could blush the way that she did, despite the lack of blood within their bodies. It was nice to see, and only brought in thoughts as to what other times she had been blushing. The thoughts that flooded his mind were not entirely innocent, especially due to the occasions that he had seen her face flushed in such a way, it was during such acts. Hoseok cleared his throat and squeezed Andy's hand as a way to push the thoughts out of his mind. Who'd have thought that such a memory would cause his body to feel hot, make him want to know what it was like with an unfoggy memory?
Hoseok struggled to clear his mind of such thoughts, automatically thinking that maybe Andy placed the idea in his head. But he knew in the back of his mind, that it was of his own doing, and the thoughts that followed were his own. It was quite odd, having such thoughts, yet never truly recalling having them before. Hoseok wondered if he thought of Andy often in that manner before his memory was shot...or was it just his body's odd way of trying to remember her touch, by actually craving it? "We can definitely come back when it is warmer. It should be soon, seeing as to how warm today is, and it is still really early into spring...I don't own clothes to swim in though, so I can just watch you," Hoseok smiled at the thought. Obviously, Andy would have swimwear back at the palace that she could use. But would she have had the twins by then? Would she be able to fit into her current swimsuits?
"I am glad I made you like winter...I know you don't like the cold, but hopefully, we can find things that will keep you feeling warmth next winter." Hoseok didn't even hesitate at the thought of being with her until then, he hadn't even realized that Andy was unaware that he viewed her as someone highly important. That he was going to be by her side until he could no longer. Despite his temporary loss of memory, Hoseok knew he was in love with the vampire. Which made it very confusing with what she asked next.
"Um," Hoseok became flustered upon being asked if Andy could kiss him. He had no qualms about it, however, it made it highly uncomfortable being asked for it. His hesitance was not because he did not want to feel Andy's lips on his own, but because he was unsure as to how to respond. It's his first kiss with her since his memory was shot, he was aware that it was not their first in general, but it was different. "That's..." Hoseok shifted rather awkwardly, his eyes darting from her to the water. "Really not something you should ask for..."
It truly was not something that Andy should feel that she should ask about. "You know Andy, I remember enough to know that I love you. You really shouldn't be asking for permission to kiss me..." The uncomfortable look on Hoseok's face turned into a smile as he focused his gaze on her. His free hand took hold of her chin, tilting it up ever-so-slightly so that his lips could press against hers. "Besides, you didn't ask for permission the first time, now did you?" He hoped that that comment would put Andy at ease, to let her know that he was perfectly aware of their relationship and that she did not have to tell him all the details.
Hoseok knew how it started, that it began with their somehow having very unplanned . That at the time they were complete strangers, and even now, he was aware that his wanting to have with her was merely due to the thought she had placed in his head then. Yet, now that his lips ghosted over hers, his tongue glided over her lips, he knew that his urge to touch her was genuinely from his own thoughts. It was surprising to him that his hands willingly d over her body, particularly her . He wanted to touch her and possibly wanted her to touch him. In the near three months, he had known her, such thoughts were rare, and possibly she was frustrated with him ually due to his never really having this need.
Hoseok started to hike up the skirt of her dress until her thigh was visible, allowing him to grab onto the inside of her knee and pull her, now bare, leg up to his waist. It was an awkward position to be in, standing up like this, feeling along her body, but for some odd reason, Hoseok was desperate for her ually.
"Would it be better for you to sit down?" His words whispered against her lips before his own left to kiss along her slim neck. Andy's pulse was racing from his touch, making him know all the more, that she wanted this too. Without a second thought, Hoseok hoisted Andy up, holding her with an arm securely under her bottom as he shimmied out of his jacket. All the while, Hoseok's mouth didn't leave Andy's warming skin. Her taste was addictive to him, and he only wanted more. But he had to be patient, pulling away from her pale skin just so that he could lay his jacket perfectly in the sand.
It was a swift motion once he was finally able to lay Andy down on his jacket. (He really did not want her to be laying in the sand, especially not with what he was having in mind). "Is this okay to do? Should I be asking your permission, just as you asked for mine to kiss me?" He grinned at her as he asked these questions, knowing full well that all he was doing at this point was . Though, Hoseok was not aware of what he had done to her in the past, hadn't even realized that there was a point for him that he was afraid to even look at her without feeling like he was not allowed...nor was that past so far from now.
He wouldn't know either, not now at least, as Andy was not protesting against his touches. She allowed his hands to travel over her body, his lips to find the tender skin of her s. Kissing along the black ink of the tattoo on her sternum made him remember one specific thought, one that made him blush at the detail, but it was certainly something that Andy would enjoy right? She had requested it back then unless his mind was playing tricks on him. His hands ghosted down to her hips, once again hiking her dress up, this time letting the skirt pool at her stomach.
Hoseok straightened up so that he was kneeling between Andy's tattooed legs, his eyes finding her white-laced . They glistened in the sunlight, causing him to smirk (mostly to himself). Hoseok was feeling cocky at her arousal, though, he too was falling apart over simple touching. "You wanted me to kiss here before right?" He asked as his thumb rubbed over the wettest part of the thin cloth, his pointer and middle fingers curling into her underwear to just feel how wet she was. "Would you like that? If I did it for you now?"
Hoseok's plump lips pressed against Andy's knee and trailed down her thigh and down to her hips. The closer his mouth got to her beautiful heat, the more the fingers curled into her tugged them down until he removed them completely. It was strange, with how he had always been, one would have thought that he would be shy about doing such things out in the open. Maybe it was their lack of physical contact, possibly it was the romantic setting, the sounds of the water on the beach. But at the moment, Hoseok could care less if someone saw.
@♙ Jung Hoseok All this was way different from everything she had gotten to know about Hoseok. His personality had changed quite a lot after the death of his family as it seemed. It pained her to know just how their death had ripped his whole life apart, had changed the once happy and innocent boy into a man having to deal with the aftermath of his past, of the happier times. It reminded her quite a lot of herself, of her time before being pregnant for the first time, even during the pregnancy she had been happy but the loss had flipped her world upside down too. In a way this almost felt like another connection she had to him, not a good one as such but it had them feel each other pain.
A faint smile spread along her lips and had her eyes gleaming softly at how innocent he was now. Almost unbelievable that this was the man who had---oh, she didn’t want to think about that anymore, it was in the past, he had saved her, cared for her. “Don’t worry, you’ll get used to the thought of it.” Actually she wasn’t too sure about that but she clearly hoped that it wouldn’t be like this forever from now on. She needed her Hoseok. Even if it was the same person, the same man she loved, she struggled knowing that his mind was stuck in a time where she hadn’t existed for him yet, neither the babies.
Andy wanted to comment upon him covering his crotch with the briefs being gone from his body. She didn’t to it even more awkward for him as this clearly seemed to be how he felt about the whole situation. It reminded her of how she had felt with her trying to hide her belly as Hoseok had insisted on her taking a bath to clean her. The fear of not knowing how he would react had been stuck to her bones that time. “Yes, your mind probably tried to process the shock and pain shock from the fight and maybe even from all the events that had happened before.” His body had been exhausted and strained not only from that fight but also from the cold before. “Right, that must have been my voice. I was scared I’d lose you.” It had her shiver that in a way she maybe had lost him. If his memory didn’t return, a part of him would always be missing. What if he ended up not loving her in this state? What if he ended up not wanting to stay by her side because she was a stranger? How would he react figuring out the death of his family? What if he thought that Andy was at fault? It were all questions that scared her but to which she had no answers and no idea how to act.
“A bit.” She admitted upon him questioning that all this must be hard for her now. It was. Even with him being awake again, the fear from before had only been replaced by new uncertainty. “But the most important thing is that you woke up from coma, you are alive, nothing more matters to me right now. The rest will develop over time, I hope.” Time was their best and even only option. There was nothing else they could do as Andy had no actual idea on how to trigger his memories to come back. Maybe by trying to show him everything that happened but that might just leave him more confused and feeling awkward.
Andy stopped her movement of washing him for a short moment as he tugged her hair behind her ear. She had forgotten about her own bruises as she hadn’t cared for them the slightest with Hoseok being her priority. “You saved me, without the babies and I would have died.” Her hand reached for Hoseok’s as he pulled away. “It’s okay, you can touch me.” She said wanting to reassure him that all this was alright. However, she then let go to proceed with the cleaning of his skin.
Their hands touched again and he hadn’t pulled away from her luckily. Maybe everything would actually turn out fine. He was alive and for now that was all that mattered, at least Andy kept telling herself that. She watched careful and had her arms reached out to help him if needed but he managed to sit on the side of the tub by himself. Though she helped him from there on with getting dressed and returning to the bed. “Yes, during the day at least. I returned to the palace for the nights to sleep but I didn’t leave once as you were in the coma. We just like being around each other, also it feels more like freedom out here, the palace walls can feel quite suffocating.”
****
To her surprise the days were calm. She had stayed with him as if everything was just like before all this mess had started. That was apart from helping him as this was still needed, something she enjoyed doing even. It meant that she could be by his side. He hadn’t been too scared of having this strange woman stay in his home as it seemed and while she had expected the ultrasound picture to cause a mild panic attack from him, nothing like that had happened. Andy would cook for him but this time didn’t attempt a soup or anything like that, she was good enough at preparing meat for him. At least they were by each others’ side, talking and lying close together as there really wasn’t a lot to do with Hoseok not being in his best condition and Andy to scared to walk through the woods by herself for now.
The day came that Hoseok’s control over his own body, specifically his legs, returned and it promised for easier times to follow for the both of them. Though, at the same time it also scared her. What if he wanted her to leave now that he didn’t need her help anymore? Would this be the last day for her to ever see him? God no, she wanted to stay by his side, wanted to be with him. It would smash her to pieces if he didn’t want her around anymore. To her relief, he asked her to go for a walk. “Sounds great, I’m coming.” She agreed and followed him out of the hut.
A warm and fuzzy feeling spread from her heart throughout her body as he took her hand into his. Andy stayed quiet as they walked like this mainly because she didn’t want to ruin this calm, loving moment. Their destination surprised Andy, the lake with the beachy area seemed like a nice place, nature still untouched from everything. A place to swim in summer and relax under the sun. “It’s beautiful.” She said. “You didn’t take me here before.” Andy wondered if Hoseok had wanted to show her this place that time her pregnant hormones had urged to kiss him and then run away. A rosy flush tinted her cheeks as she thought about it. It hadn’t been too long ago but Andy missed moving and acting around him freely. She wanted to feel his lips on hers, wanted to be engulfed by his warmth even with it being as innocent as a hug. The last times had been her fault for being so scared of his touch, now she was the one not entirely sure if it was okay for her to seek this affection from him.
“What else do you remember from your childhood?” Andy asked as her eyes fell onto the sparkling water. Swimming would have been nice now but it was too cold for Hoseok. “Let’s come back here when it is warmer so that we can go swimming.” That was if by that time Hoseok still wanted to be with her, even if they held hands now, that didn’t mean anything. Andy was still scared that he would push her away if his complete memory never returned. “It’s still quite unbelievable that winter is finally being replaced by spring. Though since winter is when I got to know you, I will forever cherish that.” Her eyes still looked over the sparkling water, down to how the wind pushed almost tiny waves onto the sand. “I’ve travelled the whole world but I never felt at home anywhere. You changed that and I’m really thankful for it. I think without you the pain from the past would still be even heavier on my shoulders.”
She shifted her gaze and body to look at him as their bodies stood close in front of each other, hands still connected. “All this is probably still weird to you because the accident has you stuck in the past but...” Andy didn’t really know what to say, how to express it but she craved to feel him again. “Can you kiss me? I miss that...”
@ꕥ♛ Andy Bathory Fight? What fight? Hoseok had no recollection as to ever bein in one. Why could he not remember? And just why did he lose his memory? Of course, the sight of his face in the mirror was enough of an answer. Something happened and judging the severe bruising along his temple and jaw, it was more clear as to just why his memory was lost. To think, the bruises were three days old, yet they were still so purple and dark. Was she there? When he got hit? Or was she here? Why did he even get into a fight anyway? Hoseok was never the type to resort to violence, he never had a reason to. Was he protecting something?
With Andy stating that helping him was not weird, it seemed to only make Hoseok more embarrassed. But instead of making the air tenser with his awkwardness, he smiled, though not as wide as he did in bed as he now knew of the cut on his lip. "Oh right, I guess it really wouldn't be weird fo you. Because...yeah." He stopped abruptly. His efforts of making the air around them light seemed to make him want even more to crawl inside and hide. Of course, she would not find it weird. But he has no recollection of Andy seeing him before, let alone his seeing her .
After Andy helped him sit and she left the bathroom, Hoseok was able to, slowly, undress his bottom half and do his business. Thank God his upper body was willing to work with him and it was just his legs that seemed to have trouble. They were stiff and pained as if he had run for days without stopping. When he was finished, he painstakingly pulled his briefs back up and called out to Andy. His smile returned when she came back into the bathroom, his brown eyes bright as he watched her.
"A bath? Yeah, that would be nice. I do feel like I haven't washed in days," he responded, wondering awkwardly if he should take off his briefs himself, or just let her help him. From the looks of things, it would just make him uncomfortable, not Andy...seeing as to how it was clear that she has seen all of him already.
As he waited on her, he decided to just take them off, covering himself with his hands to at least ease the embarrassment. Though, it did not help much, seeing as to how hot his face felt with his sitting in the complete waiting on Andy. "I don't know. I don't remember dreaming anything significant. Just random things. You know those dreams you have that only give you bits and pieces, but there is no explanation to them? It was like that...and I heard someone. I think it was you?" Of course, the strained voice he heard was Andy's. With his being fully conscious, the voice he heard certainly was neither his mother's or Jiwoo's. But it was Andy's, the sound of fear in her voice when she called to him then. The thought made him shudder.
Hoseok held tight to her as he stood up. The curve of her pregnant belly pressed into him, making him feel all the more guilty for leaning his whole weight against her. Instead of leaning against Andy, he reached for the wall, using that for most of his support, not wanting to inconvenience her more than he already was with needing help to bathe. Once finally seated, Hoseok pulled his knees into his chest (another way to try and hide his ness). His head rested just on top of them, watching Andy as she washed his back.
"Was it? It must be hard now too. Isn't it?" He wished he could remember her, for Andy's sake, and maybe even for his own. As she washed him, Hoseok noticed the faint marks around her neck. His face fell, eyes darkening momentarily at the sight. He sat up properly, leaning over the side of the tub as he reached for Andy, pushing her honey-brown hair behind her ear to get a better view.
Bruises, ones that looked as if they were a few days old. The shape of them was obviously a person's hand. "Is this why I got into a fight? Someone hurt you?" His hand dipped down into the crook of her neck, his thumb gently ghosting over the marks. It wasn't as severe as his, but they were obviously from the same day he had received his own bruises. Hoseok pulled away, unsure if his being in her space made her comfortable. This time, he sat more comfortably, allowing Andy to wash his front, which she was unable to with his previous position.
"No, I will get out. The water's getting cold, and I'll get all pruney if I sit here." When Andy reached for Hoseok's hand, he allowed her. His hand gripped hers reassuringly as if saying that things will end up fine, that she doesn't have to worry. He returned her warm smile with his own bright one before removing his hand from hers. As a way to help, and not wanting to get Andy wet, Hoseok used his arms to pull himself onto the side on the tub, sitting on it. He hadn't noticed it before, but his body was much more muscular than he had remembered. Of course, he was never completely scrawny, but he knew he was never this built (even if he was still quite wiry). To think, his legs held this much muscle, yet he couldn't even move them.
"So you usually stay with me?" He asked as Andy helped him get dressed and back to the cleaned bed. The more he looked around the room, the more and more he believed that six years had gone by. Items that he had that were, what he would have thought were new, looked old and worn.
*****
With each day that past, Hoseok was able to regain his strength, and even bits and pieces of his memory. Most importantly, he remembered Andy. Not every single detail, but he remembered the love that he had for her and even the sly way she made her way into his bed. The days that led ahead were confusing for him, with each new thing he seemed to recall. Most of what he did remember was about her, possibly because of her constant presence. And because of the things around his hut that added up to her story. Particularly the ultrasound picture. Seeing that reminded him of the day she had given it to him. It was his twenty-sixth birthday...and not too long ago.
Andy helped him as much as she could each day until he could do it himself. Though, it seemed that she was still watching him to make sure he seriously did not need her help. The days of his recovery were short and quiet, they had spent most of their time in, as it was unsafe for either of them to go out with him crippled. So they would lay and just talk, Andy, answering his questions about things she could possibly help him with when it came to his memory. But the day Hoseok could finally get himself out on his own, he did.
The air was so fresh and crisp. With it being the start of March, spring was coming, meaning that the flowers would start to be in bloom due to the warm weather. Of course, it was still much too cold for the flowers to come out, but the promise of spring was there. Hoseok popped his head back into the hut. "Andy, wanna take a walk with me? It's nice outside." He grinned at her when she agreed to go. If he remembered correctly, there was a lake somewhere nearby, where his father used to take him to fish, and he wanted to take Andy there.
When she came out of the hut, he immediately took her hand, steering them into the direction of where he thought the lake was. It took some time, but eventually, they arrived. The trees broke into a beachy area that led to the quiet water of the lake. "I almost forgot that this was here. Have I brought you here before?" Hoseok asked as he let go of her hand and sat down to take off his shoes and socks so that sand wouldn't get in them as they walked down to the water. "Beautiful isn't it? My dad used to take me here all the time when I was a kid."
@♙ Jung Hoseok Tears rolled down her cheeks as her body was still taken over by the adrenalin she felt from seeing him move, from him finally waking up after those three days. Her heart went even crazier in her chest as his hand tightened around her and the tears got even more. She was filled with emotions, sadness and loneliness from the past days, fear that she lost him forever, anger because of that other slayer who had tried to kill her and then Hoseok. Though the most intense emotion in her was the relief that washed over her, relief that he was alive and would be back with her, relief that the loneliness would be replaced by his love again, relief that everything would turn out fine. Finally his eyes opened and Andy wanted to pull him in for a tight hug but she new that his body would not yet be ready for any rash movement. At least everything would be fine, she kept telling herself in her mind.
O, had she thought wrong. Her world collapsed and crashed right on her as he asked where he was, more so as he asked who she was. What was going on? It felt as if something tightened around and restrained her from breathing. Her facial expression was anything from perfect and with her free hand she tried to wipe the tears from her face. “Hoseok...” She whispered as the shock was still ever so present and did not fade from her body. His smile was pure until the pain seemed to return into his body. Though everything felt different, everything about him. This wasn’t the Hoseok she had gotten to know, this was some other version of him, one that didn’t remember her. Then it hit her. She had heard about this before. The violent hitting of his head and the coma---what if it led to memory loss? Andy nearly fainted just at the thought of it. While she had not lost him physically, she had been deleted from his mind. What if he would never remember again? Her free hand moved to settle on her stomach by itself as if she needed the support from her babies.
She had to try at least. Taking a deep breath she tried to fight against the tightened feeling around to speak. “I’m Andy... I’m your---” While they had confessed their love to each other before this whole mess, they had never actually gotten a label but it was kind of what you would assume, right? People started dating after confessing, right? “---girlfriend.” She finished her sentence and then tried to figure out just where to start and what to tell him first without overwhelming him. “This is your hut, you lived here for years. You just turned twenty-six a while ago and then we kind of celebrated together but you got sick and...” She paused. Should she straight up tell him about her pregnancy? “Your family?” The question wasn’t easy as it seemed like he was stuck in a time before their death, a happier time, a time without her. “They are gone. You live here now and I am visiting you almost every day but then the other day there was this slayer attacking me... because I’m a vampire. You came to save me and that was when you got injured badly and hit on the head too plus you were still a little weak from before. Then you were in a coma for three days and now it seems as if---” She sighed deeply trying her best to not have her eyes tear up again. “---you’ve lost your memory, everything about your life here, everything about me.”
This was terrible. She had never expected, never thought that anything like this could happen and ruin their little, perfect world. Surely, the events from before had also been awful but everything had been about to be better. He had saved her, he had risked his own life to protect her and Andy knew that even after that night she could always lean on him, could trust him. Her hand still rested on the sweater and she noticed how her fingers had clawed into the fabric as if she had needed something to hold onto without even noticing. Her body was tense and her mind still unable to actually deal with this somehow. The babies---he had to know that she was pregnant from him.
“I’m pregnant and... you are the father of the babies. We’re having twins together and we still need to figure everything out because they will be half vampire and half human---” Andy wanted to go on and tell him that he was a slayer too, he deserved to know even if it could put her into danger a second time. No, he wouldn’t. Hoseok would never hurt her again and his whole demeanour seemed to be friendly like this. Life must have been way easier for him with his family around.
“The toilet?” She hadn’t thought of it, after three days he would of course need to use it quite immediately. “Yes, of course.” Andy pulled the sheets away and tried his best to sustain him while she helped him to get out of bed. “You undressed yourself before sleeping. Your clothes were covered in blood from the fight.” She helped him to walk the short distance into the bathroom slowly. Finally, she had her arms around him again, finally she could hold him without him being asleep. She had missed this, his warmth, his touch. Before the fight they had been so distant even when they were together, all that because she was scared. Stupid. She loved him, why had she feared him so much? That night had been her fault too for lying and trying her best that he would not figure out. It just had all collapsed on them that night.
In a way it was sweet to see his lightly reddened face as he asked for her help. “Of course. It’s not weird.” She wanted to add a commented about how she had seen everything of him before, had felt his whole body but she didn’t want to make it awkward for him so she kept quiet about it. Andy opened the toilet lid and then helped him to sit. “Yes, I will wait outside. Call for me when you’re ready.” She closed the door to the bathroom and then went over to the bed to strip the bedding from it. He called for her name before she managed to put on fresh bedding.
“You should take a bath after just lying in the bed for three days. Maybe you better stay seated until it is ready.” She the hot water to fill up the bathtub. “Wait, I’ll get a towel and clothes for you.” Andy got everything from the other room and then placed it onto the sink upon her return. A smile played along her lips as she looked into his eyes. At least he was still alive and back awake. She would have never forgiven herself if she had lost him. Andy didn’t want to live without him anymore, didn’t even want to think of it. “Did you dream anything while you were asleep for so long?” She asked as she had wondered about it. Someone had told her before that every person in coma had different experiences, she wondered what Hoseok’s had been and maybe it would help her to figure out if everything would return to being normal. Andy wanted him to remember, wanted to get him back, his real self which wasn’t stuck in the past and which knew about her.
As the bathtub was filled enough with water, she helped him to get up from the toilet. One of her arms was wrapped around his back while the other held onto his side. It took a while and their movements were slow but eventually she managed to have him seated in the tub. Andy took a cloth and soap before kneeling in front of the tub and placing both next to her. “It was hard without you.” She whispered. “I was so scared that you wouldn’t return.” Her hand reached for the cloth and she wetted it in the water to then use it together with the soap. Andy cleaned his back first as this was the hardest part for him to reach. Then she went over to clean his shoulders and eventually also his chest as he would have had a hard time cleaning all this himself. “Do you want to relax in the warm water for a while? Maybe it eases the pain a bit.” Andy dared to reach out for his hand in the water to take it into hers. She smiled warmly and tried to make him feel comfortable even though it must have been hard for him due to not recognizing her.
@ꕥ♛ Andy Bathory Hoseok merely waved Andy off, not wanting her to bother him with her being overreacting. Surely, he must look much worse than he felt right? It was clear, with the numbness and stinging sensation, that he had a cut lip and bruised face. However, that was all that was wrong. Of course, other than his inability to focus, but he was fine. It was nothing that Andy should get all worked up over, just like she had when he had a simple cold. Andy did not understand the human body very well, and that was okay, but she had to understand that they were not /this/ fragile.
"Yes, only walk around here if you're with me. If anything were to happen to you Andy..." What would he do if something were to happen to her? Other than going into a blind rage? He wanted, no, he needed Andy alive. Possibly due to his own selfishness of wanting her, but also because he knew he would go insane enough to take down anyone in his path.
Despite Hoseok's thoughts about how ridiculously overdramatic Andy was being about his injuries, his body said otherwise; fatigue took over his body, making him limbs feel as heavy as lead. Without the rush of adrenaline, his entire body felt sore, as if he had carried around a horse for the day. The soreness, Hoseok understood was from his tight grip on the other slayer, having flexed his body to the point to make them be unable to move. It had worked, thankfully, but his body was obviously taking the toll, and for once he just wanted to lay down and do nothing.
Hoseok should not have fallen asleep, but he did not know that, as he had never seen someone with a concussion before. Or had even heard of it. Realm G was rough, yes, but everyone was always too careful-not wanting to risk putting their bodies in danger than they already were in the first place. Living in this Realm alone had its own risks.
Andy felt too good beside him to not have his eyes close, to not have his arm tightly around her as he fell into a deep sleep. A slumber that was much deeper than he had expected, as his body tried its best to heal up-forcing him to stay in darkness. He did not dream much, only seeing random flashes of a face, darkness, crimson red. What did all these things mean though? He could not quite understand them. And what was that panicked-sounding voice that he heard? He couldn't move, to reassure whoever it was that they were going to be okay. But no matter how much his brain told it to, his arm would not move, his body would not sit up.
Why was this happening to him? Hoseok could not remember anything. Everything hurt, that is all he knew-but why did he hurt? He could not recall the reason why he was stuck in this darkness. The fight from days before, it was as if it had never happened...aside from the fact that he knew he was angry. Just /why/ was he angry? The last thing he could really remember was talking to Jiwoo about her camera...was it possible that they got into a fight ans that is why he was angry?
Hoseok had never gotten into a fight with his sister before, so that also made no sense to him.
His fingers twitched as his brain was finally allowing him to start to come to. They curled into the sheets, struggling to get more movement as he grunted. God, he wished he could open his eyes. And just what was this voice he was hearing? "Come back to me." That wasn't Jiwoo's voice, nor his mothers...yet the touch, the way she held his hand, the way she smelled...they all brought him great comfort. With effort, his hand tightened around this mystery woman's, trying to reassure her that he was okay...though why would she want to know?
It took awhile, but Hoseok's brown eyes eventually opened, though at first, it was only enough for him to squint. The room was bright, so bright that it hurt his eyes and made him see spots when he first started to open them. But once he was able to open them fully and see his surroundings, he became even more confused. "Wh...where am I, miss?" He asked as he turned his head towards the honey brown-haired woman. "...And who are you? Where is my family?" Hoseok tried to sit up, though he was too weak to do so.
His brow furrowed in confusion when the woman looked hurt that he asked who she was. "Did something happen? No need to look so sad," a large smile formed on his face, his eyes and nose crinkling as he did so, though it faded quickly as the wounds from his fight acted up. "Ow." His free hand trembled as he brought it to his face, his fingertips wiping at the bit of blood from the cut at the corner of his mouth.
A grin replaced the large smile, showing the purity and innocence in his face once more. His eyes shined as he struggled to sit up once more, this time the young woman helping him. "Thank you. Why do you know my name if I do not know yours miss?"
That is when the woman told him, nearly everything. Hoseok nodded along, believing her enough, as the items in the hut were certainly his. But... twenty-six? She was certainly wrong about his age, right? He was only twenty years old, he was young-it couldn't be nearly a decade later than he thought. "Where is my family?" Hoseok asked again, not quite satisfied with the woman called Andy's answer. How did she mean by their being gone? Maybe she just meant that he moved out here by himself and they stayed at his childhood home! But why did Andy sound so depressed?
He could not believe it either, that she was pregnant. That made him a bit nervous, thinking that he was a father to her...children. Since she said they were twins. My, she sure knew how to ramble. But it felt familiar as if he's had a similar conversation with her before. "I'm sorry to interrupt, but...I need to use the toilet..." And not to mention, he felt disgusting from laying in his bed for, what he now knew, three days. And with the way his body resisted him and refused to move how he wanted it, it was clear Andy was not lying. "Can you help me?"
He was a bit embarrassed to ask a small pregnant woman for help. But despite his worries, she obliged, carefully helping him off of the bed. "Why do I not have clothes on?" He just no noticed the chilled air against his skin. Hearing that he stripped himself was even more confusing. Did he become that type of person, to just randomly st- Well...that was a stupid question if he had with this woman (which explained why her touch felt so relieving) then yes, it would make sense that he would get down to his briefs in front of her. So strange, to think he had and he could not remember a second of it. And the sight of his bruised up face in the mirror made him realize that he probably was not even thinking about being embarrassed.
"Andy...I know this sounds weird," Hoseok's legs shook as he stood before the toilet. "But...I don't think I can stand...or sit by myself..." God, it was so weird to ask her this. He couldn't remember one thing about this woman, other than her touch and smell, and yet he was going to have to beat down his pride and request for her to help him use the toilet. "Can you...uh...I don't know. Help me sit down? And then like...stand out in the room until I am done?" His face steadily turned a bit red, not because he needed help, but because he had to ask someone as beautiful as her to help him
She was in daze as the two hands had ripped around tightly, she tried to kick the man and get away but his grab only got tighter as he forced her body to stop moving with his legs pushing down on hers. The vision in front of her eyes became blurry, a tinnitus like noise rushing through her ears as it felt like she was about to take her last breath. Oh god the babies, Hoseok, this couldn’t be it, it wasn’t allowed to be over. Her body ached, not only but also where she was kicked, manhandled. The words the man threw at her were muffled through the tense noise in her ears. The blurry vision got darker as this seemed to be her last breath, the last bit of air that kept her alive. A scent mingled into it, one all too familiar. Hoseok.
Andy was paralyzed from shock as everything around her moved so fast with her head still spinning. A few glimpses revealed Hoseok fighting the man but her vision was still blurry, her body coughing heavily from being choked before. Air ran through her lunges giving her the feeling of her strength slowly returning. God, she should have helped him but she was too weak, there had been nothing she could do. Life seemed to have returned in her body just as he cried out for her not to look. She didn’t. There was a gurgling sound but then silence returned all of a sudden apart from Hoseok’s panting that she could clearly hear. The faint smell of vomit reached her but the wind seemed to carry it away.
This time she looked. The man’s corpse lay by Hoseok’s side, blood all over the man and Hoseok too. A deep cut at the attacker’s throat, his corpse. Just where the knife had been at two weeks ago, just like he---Andy was still too shocked and paralyzed with fear, unable to think. Hoseok had saved her, had risked his own life for her, for the babies. Without him she would have been that corpse lying there, with two dead babies inside of her. She shivered, trembled.
As he helped her stand, her arms wrapped around his neck tightly as she threw her body at his to pull him in for a tight hug, as tight as her body managed to hold him. She didn’t care about the blood smearing onto her too, she didn’t care about anything as she clung to him. Why couldn’t life just give them ease? Why couldn’t everything be simple and just filled with love and happiness? The tears that ran down her cheeks burned on her skin but she didn’t sob, though stopping them from falling also wasn’t possible. “I’m okay...” She whispered. “God, Hoseok, without you... I... we...” Andy barely managed to form the words that she wanted to say. “Thank you for saving me.” She finally managed to say, her voice still faint but steady enough.
Home. Somehow that one word had her heart feel alive again as it pounded in her chest. She held onto him as they were walking. Slowly, as both of them seemed to feel more than weak. Hoseok had been hurt even worse than her. The other slayer hadn’t been easy on him as far as she had managed to watch, it had not been a lot of the fight and she could only imagine what else the brutal attacker had done to him. “How badly are you hurt, Hoseok? We need to treat your wounds and whatever else he did to you.” Andy was even more scared as she did not know what blood stuck to Hoseok belonged to himself and what had been from the other slayer. What if they just couldn’t yet see all the wounds on his body? What if there would be serious consequences from the fight?
“I won’t, I don’t think I ever want to walk through this wood again, alone at least... I might just teleport myself the next time, it’s safer.” Why had she been so stupid to walk anyways when there was this much safer option? Of course, she just hadn’t expected anything to happen and Andy always enjoyed being outside walking or running through the fresh air. It was a habit that she had to get rid of from now on.
Soon they reached the hut. Andy wanted to take care of him, wanted to hold him, be held by him but he rushed with taking his clothes off and went into the bathroom before she even managed to say anything. She stood by the fireplace and felt out of place. The only thing she managed to think of was to make a fire. Even if it was still during the day the hut would be too cold for Hoseok otherwise. Somehow she managed to have it burn in the fireplace just as Hoseok entered the main room again from the bathroom. She was surprised to see him in just his briefs as he would usually always cover himself. He really wasn’t feeling too well as it seemed.
Andy moved towards the bed once he lay beneath the blankets. “Yes, I want to be next to you, too.” She admitted. She wanted to hold him, feel him, touch him. Anything that had her be close to him as she needed this just as much as he did. For the first time during these two weeks she felt safe next to him, felt safe in his hut with the door being closed and the daggers maybe still beneath the mattress. All that mattered was lying next to Hoseok, holding the father of her babies, the man she loved so deeply that life wouldn’t be the same without him anymore. She pulled the blanket over her body as she curled into his hug holding him as close as it was physically possible.
It was dark outside as Andy woke up from her sleep. She had not noticed how tired the fight had actually made her. Hoseok next to her breathing lowly, he was still asleep. The moon brought a bit of light into the room. Her eyes travelled to look at Hoseok as if she was making sure that he was actually there, peacefully asleep. Though his skin seemed to tremble as far as she saw in the moonlight. Right, he hadn’t changed into any clothes to sleep. Andy to her side, her hand reached out to slide over his cheek, up to his hair. She caressed it gently trying not to wake him up but somehow the urge to feel him still overtook her, she needed this. Carefully, she slid out of the bed to walk back to the fireplace and to light another fire. Then, she walked back to the bed and lay down beside him once more snuggling herself up against his body. Some more sleep sounded good. Tomorrow would be enough time to talk, to use every second to be close to him and make up for the way she had felt around him the past few weeks. She wanted to kiss him, cuddle him, touch him, do all that what she had missed out on.
The next morning she woke up to Hoseok still sleeping. While she had also passed out for long, she couldn’t imagine to stay in bed any longer. Kissing his forehead and caressing over his cheek some more she waited for some kind of reaction. Nothing. Weird. The bruises from the fight were clear on him and it made her heart ache to see him like this just because of her being as stupid to walk through the wood by herself. Andy decided to give him a bit longer to sleep, they could treat all the bruises once he woke up. She got out of the bed and walked into the bathroom. As she looked into the mirror she noticed the red marks around . God, even if it wasn’t too bruised the marks from that attack still stuck to her. Andy decided to take a shower to wash everything from yesterday of and push the memory as far down as she could. She went back in only her underwear and then stole fresh clothes from him for probably the millionth time. One day she should actually leave some here for herself.
He was still asleep. “Hoseok?” Andy crawled back onto the bed and knelt beside his sleeping body. “Hey, wake up, sleepyhead. It’s been forever since you fell asleep.” Nothing. Why didn’t he wake up? Panic rose in her body as her hand held onto his arm shaking him. “Hoseok, come on...” Still nothing. What was going on? Her heart pounded up to , blood rushing through her like crazy. She shook him more, harder, tried to move from his arm to his chest but even that didn’t help.
“Oh god!”
Fear struck through her as she leaned her head right where his heart was to hear if it was still beating. “Don’t leave me, don’t leave me!” She only managed to bring it out as a whisper as she was barely able to concentrate on his heart with hers going all crazy inside of her and tears already running down her cheeks as she expected the worst. Though, she could hear his heart beat with her head resting on his chest. His chest moved up and down ever so lightly. He breathed. He was alive. Thank god. But why wasn’t he waking up? Why didn’t he move?
She jumped from the bed pacing through the room as she tried to think of just what was going on. Didn’t she see his head being hit as she had caught a glimpse of what had been going on? What if it was a concussion of the brain? Once in China she had experienced it happening to a friend. Her friend had slept for days without moving as she had been in a mild coma. “Think, Andy, think.” She told herself as she tried to calm. What was there that she needed to do? Water, Hoseok needed water. Andy took a clean cloth from the bathroom and soaked it in water. She remembered that it would only work by dripping a bit into him as there was no fancy technology she could use to help him. Doing as planned she sat beside him, her thumb gliding over his lips to open his mouth carefully. The water dropped into his mouth one drop after another and she was careful to not give him too much at once.
The day passed like that. Every once in a while she used the cloth to give him water, then she used another soaked in warm water to clean over his chest. It almost felt wrong to touch him like this knowing how shy Hoseok had been during their first night. It was only for his best, only to keep him clean and refreshed while he slept. That night she didn’t sleep, rather took the book that she brought from his childhood home to read it to him until she herself fell asleep next to him.
Nothing had changed the next day. “Hoseok... please come back to me.” She repeated those words more than once. It drove her crazy to be stuck like this without knowing what to do, without know when he would wake up, if he would wake up. At moments she found herself sitting on the ground and burying her face into the sheets of the bed, her hand holding onto his arm as she cried. Even if she was with him, she felt lonely, lost, broken. She felt helpless, there was nothing to do, no way to help him, no way to wake him up even if she would still shake him in between. Never in her whole life had she felt this way. Andy needed him. Life without him was no option anymore. How should she raise the twins by herself? What would she tell him when one day they asked for their father? ‘Stop ing thinking that, he will wake up soon, he won’t die.’ She kept telling herself but the more hours passed, the less convinced was she. It felt as if she lied to herself, as if she was caught in a dream that now would never turn real. And it was all her fault for walking to his hut that day. Teleporting herself would have been so easy, without any trouble. They could have spend the day together, could have been outside, could have cooked dinner together, could have read the book together, could have slept next to each other. Losing him would be her fault and if he died---even with the babies, she wasn’t sure if she would want to live.
On the third day after the fight, Andy was even closer to giving up. She went insane with staring at him, with not knowing what to do. All she did was pace around the hut and throw cold water onto her face from time to time. She had read the book to him twice already and Andy knew that she would go even more insane if she had to even look at it. Though, just as she was about to go back to the bathroom to wet the cloth, ruffling of the bed suddenly took over the hut. “Hoseok?!” He moved, he actually moved. Andy almost fell as she bolted toward the bed sitting kneeling next to his body and pulling his hand into hers. “Hoseok, wake up, please, you can do it... come back to me... Hoseok...”
No matter how much Hoseok loved Andy and wanted to do his best to do everything that she wanted him to, he refused to stay cooped up in his house. Having the cough was bad enough, but not being able to do anything-he hated that. Hoseok was never the type to want to sit still and laze around, which sometimes got him into trouble as a child. It is why he was always doing /something/ even though he did not always have something to do. Hoseok had always made a point to keep his hands and mind busy.
"I have always enjoyed being in the woods over being in the village. Even though I enjoyed being around the other's then, I always did like how quiet it was here." Hoseok's thumb rubbed over hers as he spoke. Oh how much he loved this closeness at this moment as if nothing horrible had happened between them just the other day. Just as they had walked through the village once before. He wanted it to stay just like this, this innocent intimacy between the two of them.
Hoseok's smile only seemed to get wider, his teeth seeming bright with the sun. "Well, judging from the fact I saw you everywhere I looked, maybe I am calling you a stalker?" It was certainly odd that a lynx was stalking him. Originally, he thought that she was stalking him for food (the lynx), but now that he knew it was just Andy...well, that was even weirder; given their first interaction. She had followed him around, from morning to night for a few days. "Yes, you do have a beautiful lynx form...but I was getting kind of worried, thought I might have to build a new home or someth-"
Hoseok gasped out, trying to muffle a cough when his back slammed into the bark of the tree. Andy caught him off-guard, she was stronger than he could have expected, especially with the fact that she was pregnant and due to his overpowering her the other night. "Andy." He wheezed out her name, catching the lust that darkened her eyes. Oh God, what did she think she was doing? He wasn't ready for this, yet pressing against his made him melt. His hands clung at her clothes, his head tilted down towards hers. Her tongue was so addicting so...
His head slammed into the tree when she shoved him away. "Andy! Wait-" It was too late, her lynx form ran off. Even though Hoseok ran after her, Andy's small, feline body was much faster. After a few minutes, Hoseok lost her, causing him to stop running and hold onto his knees, panting. "Don't leave me alone," his voice trembled, thinking that maybe she had decided that it was best for her to stay away.
Despite thinking the worst, Andy had come back a few times during the week. Much to Hoseok's relief. He could not stand the thought of losing her permanently, even if he had told himself countless amount of times that he would be okay if she left him alone. He had been alone for so long, what would have changed? But his attachment to her had gotten to a point that he felt he could not live without her. Just the thought of her leaving him, every single night, it put him into a panic.
Andy was always careful about how long she was with him every day, always leaving before it got too dark-before he would be forced to stay inside with her as they cannot be out when it is too late (as he can't see as well as her at this time). Whenever she would leave, Hoseok would tell himself that she will not come back. She had no reason to if she was so uncomfortable around him.
That is why, on this morning, Hoseok once again filled with dread. Andy was usually here about an hour after he would wake, but time ticked, an hour went by and she was still not there, then two. Finally, Hoseok stood outside, no longer being able to stay cooped up. Though he just stood in front of his doorway, taking in the surprisingly warm air. Hoseok did not dare leave, only because he hoped that Andy would be there soon, then he could go walk aound with her.
He could hear a scuffle nearby, possibly an animal taking down a large prey. Hoseok thought nothing of it until he heard her voice, his name ringing throughout the woods. The panic, the fear in it made him immediately bolt forward, toward the sound of the fight ahead. "Andy?!" He yelled out, running, becoming confused at the way her voice and the sounds of struggled had echoed in the woods. "Andy?! Andy?!"
He found them. A large man kicked at Andy, holding onto . His scent, his words, it all made it clear what he was, and just why he was attacking the woman that Hoseok loved. A slayer. A large one at that. He was a western man, built like a bear with a voice that made Hoseok's skin crawl.
"Go to Hell like the rest of your disgusting kind." The slayer growled into Andy's face, his free hand reaching for something.
Hoseok knew that the other slayer sensed him there. Maybe they thought that he was going to help destroy Andy? All Hoseok knew was that they did not expect him to plow through their legs to take them down, to get away from his Andy. The other slayer may have been burly, but they did not seem the have a brain in their head as to where they would be most vulnerable. Although Hoseok was significantly smaller, he was able to bring the other man down with such an ease. "Don't you ing touch her," he said in a strained voice, struggling to keep his limbs tight around the slayer's legs.
Hoseok's finegrs reached for the metal glinting in the sun, the very thing that the slayer had reached for, the thing that they had meant to end Andy with. Suddenly, fists started to pound against Hoseok's back. The blows were enough to make him lose his breath, making his cough from the week before come back. The slayer struggled against him, making his lanky limbs loosen around them, enough that they could become completely free and hurt Andy if they weren't careful.
Not yet having the blessed weapon in his hand, Hoseok did the next best thing. His teeth clamped down on the other's leg, enough to make them yell out. He struggled to bite down harder, to break skin, but with their jean-clad legs, it was already nearly impossible to even break the fabric.
"You damn leech lover." Hoseok's head was ripped away from the other, though his hand finally grabbed the silver dagger from their waist. Suddenly, everything went black, ringing sounded through his ears upon the blow to his jaw, then to the side of his head. Vomit threatened to come up as Hoseok tried to focus once more on his target. He wheezed, struggling to breathe from his hitting the ground. God. It ing hurt...but he had to endure it, he had to get this man away from Andy.
Hoseok lay there for a moment, estimating for the man to start to move away. They did not know Hoseok took their weapon, which made it all the easier when Hoseok drove it through their foot, pinning them in place before he could drag them down beside him. Hoseok's elbow slammed into the slayer's throat as he managed to pin them to the ground. Everything seemed to spin as the dagger hid itself into the other's stomach, as Hoseok removed it to make a finisghing blow to the man.
"Don't look, Andy, please don't look," Hoseok cried out to Andy before the blade cut through the slayer's throat, splattering Hoseok in their blood.
Hoseok sat, panting as he looked over the man's dying face, the gurgling sound that they made soon cut out as they choked. The vomit that Hoseok had held back after being hit in the head finally exited his body. He panted and stood up slowly, his legs feeling light beneath him as he moved back towards Andy. "Oh God, Andy," his words were soft sounding as his spoke to her, concern washing over him as he helped her stand to her feet. "How badly are you hurt? Can you walk? Do you need...?" Did she need blood? Why was that question so odd to ask her?
"Let's get home..." If she was not too afraid of him that is. It was already bad enough that Andy experienced his nearly killed her about two weeks ago...and now? Now she actually saw him kill a man with zero hesitation. It would be no surprise to him if she ran away again and never turned back...especially when he had blood speckled over his face and smeared all over his hands and clothes, even if the only reason he was covered in blood was to protect her.
Yet, Andy followed, allowed him to hold onto her as they walked back to his hut. "Please don't walk by yourself now...it...it's not safe for you." Hoseok held tightly to Andy's arm and hand, afraid that she may just run off without him and put herself at risk. Or maybe he was selfishly trying his best to not let her teleport away.
When they got to the hut, Hoseok immediately removed his blood-covered clothes. He did not want, nor needed Andy to look at him like that, to see him as some sort of blood-thirsty (murderous) monster. What if his appearance like that just reminded her of that night? He stumbled to the bathroom, rushing to wash all the blood off of him at the sink. His eyes looked crazed in the mirror, dark, unfocused. Were these the eyes that looked at Andy that night? Hoseok shook his head and splashed cold water onto his face, scrubbing away the blood with his hands.
"Can we just...lay down?" He asked when he finished in the bathroom, and sat on his bed. Hoseok could not even get the motivation to put on more clothing, leaving him just sitting there in his briefs. "I'm exhausted." He admitted his reasoning for why he wanted to lay down than trek through the woods on this gorgeous day. His jaw and head hurt too much to want to do anything else. He could see in the mirror that bruising was already forming in those areas.
Before Andy could answer, Hoseok made his way under the blankets. He curled into a fetal position, trying to get himself comfortable. "Can...can I hold you as I sleep? I will feel better knowing you're there." Hoseok pushed the blanket back, just enough for Andy to lay or sit beside him. Anything was fine, would put him at ease, he just wanted to know that she was there with him, that she was safe in his bed.
Little did he know, he should not have allowed himself to sleep. The blows to his head caused his head to become too jostled. His sudden bout of nausea, inability to focus, and his struggle with mobility were all due to a concussion settling. Darkness washed over him when his eyes closed. He heard nothing, felt nothing, saw nothing. It was not until a few days later that he did wake, his brain foggy as to what his surroundings were, and just who the pregnant woman beside him was.
@♙ Jung Hoseok Of course it was more than just a simple cough. The cold had attacked his body like crazy and now he suffered the consequences because of her. “I---” Uncomfortable. Andy thought back to their first night, how hurt she had been after him distancing himself from her so rashly. After decades of walking the earth just by herself, she wanted someone to be close to her, wanted someone to stay with her forever after she had been the one to disappear out of nowhere multiple times. Maybe she would have been too scared with him next to her once more, with the daggers so close but seeing him sick like this she regretted keeping the door open, distancing herself this time. He was still the same man she loved. “---sleep next to me next time, just put your daggers out of reach...”
“Why would I leave? As if I would leave you alone when you are sick because of me.” She was almost salty at his words. How could he assume the worst in her when she had actually tried to take care of him? “You should have stayed in bed. Don’t you ever listen to me?” Andy didn’t move from her spot as he changed his clothes. He was closer to the table than she was so it would have been even more awkward to just walk past him to put the soup there. Luckily, he took it from her once he was done. Any fluids---couldn’t he at least be a little happy about the effort she had put into making this? It was the first human food she had ever tried preparing.
While he ate the soup, Andy sat down on the bed resting her head in his hands as she watched him eat. Maybe she should have tried the taste before giving it to him. Yume had been right about vampires actually being able to eat human food but all the vomiting from before had her not even want to try it anymore. What if it had still partly affected her? “Is it?” She didn’t quite believe him knowing that what she had thrown together without any sort of recipe couldn’t taste too well. Though, it didn’t matter at least he had something hot to calm his cough.
“Why are you putting on your coat? You have to stay in bed, Hoseok.” She reproached him as she got up from the bed to stop him from further putting his coat on. “Oh, this?” She held out the book which she had totally forgotten about by now. “Yeah, I needed a place to cook and I was curious on what books you would have there. The palace as a big library but I never actually got around to reading any of those books. A bit weird considering all the time I spent there being alone without anything to do.” Andy caught herself trailing off which made her stop immediately once she realized it.
“Hoseok, you can’t go---” His hand suddenly holding hers distracted her from speaking, had her heart beat like crazy in her chest as she looked down at their connected hands. It felt warm and soft in hers and she loved having that human warmth engulf her again. “You still need to rest though, we can look at that book, talk, sleep. Go back to bed.” Though, he wouldn’t listen and soon she found her hand in his coat pocket. The butterflies in her stomach made her feel like a teenage girl being on a date with her first ever crush. It was a sweet motion and she enjoyed it, stopping her complaints because of it.
“That’s true. You like the woods more, don’t you?” Andy said as they walked outside distancing themselves from the hut as more and more trees surrounded them the further they went. Her hand in his, his overall presence next to her, somehow she felt at ease. For a moment she managed to forget what had happened as the sunlight hit her cold skin. “You make me sound like a stalker.” She chuckled. Clearly, she had been one watching Hoseok from afar in a shape that would not reveal who she was. It had worked out perfectly fine until yesterday when he had seen her morph into her true self out of it. “My lynx form is pretty, isn’t it? I’ve ran through many woods like this all over the world. This one is one of the prettiest though, might be because my heart is with the person living here.”
They reached a glade where the sun hit Hoseok’s tanned skin so perfectly that it gleamed in the light. Andy stared up at him watching his hair sway in the light breeze of wind, listening to the soft sounds of his breath. Her whole body suddenly craved him, craved to feel the daddy of her babies once more after they had been all awkward around each other instead of actual touching and feeling. An unknown heat spread throughout her body as she suddenly couldn’t get the image of him ing her out of her head anymore. , she wanted to feel those lips all over her body, wanted him to her folds before she would run her own tongue over his abs down to his .
Swiftly, Andy changed their positions letting go of Hoseok’s hand only to push him up against the next tree pressing her body so tightly against his that breathing was barely possible. Her hands cupped his face to pull him down for a kiss. It was wild, steamy, needy as her lips on his, as her tongue pushed past his lips to battle with his in an endless fight for sensation. , did he feel good, her already becoming juicy from being this .
Sudden realization hit her as she pulled her eyes wide open. No, no, no. This was the man who had almost killed her, the man who had almost destroyed what she treasured so dearly. The man who hated vampires the most and would never actually be with one without one day snapping, the man who would never truly love her nor the babies for what they were. Andy pushed herself away from Hoseok running as fast as she could, morphing into her lynx form on her way as she ran off into the distance leaving the man she loved behind.
****
Over the time of a week Andy had kept visiting Hoseok. The day after running away she had stayed in the palace only to get her together and figure out why exactly she had thrown herself at him so willingly and had been so needy. Andy had craved his lips, his body, his more than ever and there was no actual explanation as to why. Stupid pregnant hormones messing everything up.
At least they had managed to go from slightly awkward back to rather normal even though Andy was still cautious around him, she couldn’t actually trust that he wouldn’t do anything to her, the daggers still being in his possession. If only she wasn’t this scared, if only she could trust him. She wanted to but every time the door of the hut closed or Hoseok moved closely to hear inside the hut, she had a mild to intense panic attack which didn’t make it exactly easy. At least out on their walks through the woods she felt safe to be around him as there was always enough space for escape. Holding his hand had her feel at home even if she only managed to do so outside.
This day she was on her way to Hoseok’s hut again deciding to enjoy the nice weather this time and walk instead of actually teleporting herself. Andy was lost in thoughts, didn’t notice the creaks of branches on the ground, didn’t smell the slayer close to her as Hoseok’s scent was stuck to the sweater she wore. Suddenly, he was right on front of her. A big man with dark gleaming eyes pushing and pulling on her body. Andy tried to get out of his hold, tried to free from being choked, her body from being manhandled. She was too weak suddenly finding herself on the ground of the woods. Oh god, the babies! The slayer let go of only to bruise her legs further kicking her and throwing insults at her about how vampires were monsters and shouldn’t live.
“Hoseok!” Andy screamed as loudly as her lunges allowed before the slayer’s hands were around again.
@ꕥ♛ Andy Bathory Andy's fingers stroking through his hair put him at ease. It felt almost loving, just as she had d through his hair before while they laid beside each other. It was motherly, in a way, something he had not experienced in many years. Hoseok strove to have this attention, these affections now that she was with him. Though, he knew that he had possibly already ruined them with what he had done that night. Her affections this morning had come almost as a surprise to him, even in his groggy state. But he took advantage of them, not knowing if she may change her mind later about him.
If only his coughing did not prevent him from receiving her affections properly.
Hoseok gave a sheepish grin when his eyes returned to Andy's face from the food, seeing the way that she rubbed her chin. Just another thing of his that was screwing up how she interacted with him. Hoseok really knew how to ruin nice things it seemed, and with the way, her voice sounded almost scolding, as if he was a stupid kid for not understanding. "I'm sorry...I'm still a bit sleepy," he mumbled in response, his eyes darting down to his hands. Hoseok's throat and nose burned as he tried to hold back another cough. "Just not used to this stuff I guess..." Why was he suddenly feeling so shy? Was it the obvious fever that was burning his cheeks?
Why did she suddenly go from rashing him to motherly so quickly? Hoseok leaned away from Andy's touch, trying to avoid her finding that he indeed was sick. "It's just a slight cough Andy, it is nothing to worry about." Of course, Andy was not going to believe him with his skin burning the way that it was.
"Andy, really I'm f-," another cough interrupted his words, making it seem that it was the exact opposite. He really did feel okay, he just had to keep himself active during the day and rest in a timely manner, that way his body would work to make itself better and fight the fever. Even though he wanted to fight her about going to bed (as he really did not want to) he followed Andy anyways.
"Well, I didn't want to make you uncomfortable," he mumbled. If he did not think that she would not want him beside her, pressed closely behind her, he would not have slept on the floor. But her being tense all last night, with his knowing she did not trust him, and her obvious claustrophobia when it came to being near him, he was not going to just lay there. The fear was apparent when she had settled to sleep, what kind of man would he be if he were to think it was okay to be in her space?
Hoseok allowed Andy to do whatever with him if it made her happy- who was he to fight her on it? He watched as she walked around and went outside, waiting to see what she was doing. "Yeah, sure," he mumbled in response to not leaving the bed as she left. Hoseok planned to not budge, just wanting to give Andy exactly what she wanted. But he waited and waited for her, but it was at that point that he could no longer lay there. Hoseok was getting antsy, never having been the type to lay around and do nothing, thus he dragged himself out of bed and checked outside.
Andy was nowhere to be found.
"I guess I shouldn't be surprised," he said to himself as he went back inside to start removing his bed-clothes. What did he even expect? That Andy was going to be sitting around waiting for him as if everything was absolutely okay? Maybe his fever was her excuse to get away from him, to get as far away from him as possible without his knowing where she walked off too.
Hoseok was in the middle of pulling on new pants when Andy walked through the hut. The sound of her voice made him jump, his hand pressing against his chest as his head whipped in her direction. "God Andy...you scared the out of me, I thought you left..." He admitted that he had thought the worst, thought that she just left him for good. It was a relief that she came back, but his heart still pounded in his chest. What will she do since he did not listen to her wishes of his staying in bed?
"Soup? Yeah, I guess it helps, any fluids would," Hoseok stated as he pulled a shirt over his head and then a thick sweater. He took the bowl from her and sat at his small table with it and spooned a mouthful into his mouth. His nose wrinkled slightly as the taste. It was clear Andy had tried to make it herself. The broth was watery and very bland, it tasted only of vegetables and maybe a little salt. Something that Hoseok certainly was not used to. Meat was his go-to source of food, as plants were very iffy at times. "Thank you, Andy. This is great." He lied as he ate some more of the soup. God, he really hated vegetables.
After eating as much as he could (until he could no longer bare with the taste) Hoseok stood up, pushing the bowl to the side before going to grab his coat. "I feel better already," he said hurriedly, buttoning his coat up so that he could beat Andy to trying to get him back into bed. "What's that that you're holding?"
He finally only just realized the book that Andy was holding, not recognizing it as his own at first due to how long it had been since he had last used it. "Oh, did you go to my old house...? But how?" He had briefly forgotten that she was a Royal, meaning she had every ability as a vampire under her house that once could think of. Of course she would be able to teleport there and back, she had the ability to. "We can look at that later, let's go for a walk outside."
He took the book from her and set it on his bed, then carefully took her hand in his. Her cool skin was so comforting to him, especially with his having thought she had left him for good previously. He ignored any scolding for him to go back to bed, knowing that only doing so will make him go a bit insane. Instead, Hoseok pulled Andy along, placing her hand in his pocket like he usually did.
"We have always walked through the village, but we never really walked around here...I never wanted you to feel too cold since you never dressed for the weather. But...I guess I don't have to worry about that now huh?" A smile formed on Hoseok's tanned face as they walked, his eyes were turned forward. He wanted to look at her, see her in this beautiful light. "You must know the woods pretty well too. Now that I know you were the lynx that was watching me for a while. You know, I really thought I was imagining it watching me. To think it was just you...."
Hoseok's hand squeezed around Andy's. Although she was not much smaller than him in height, not even a full head shorter, her hand felt so small in his. He was glad to know that she had watched him back then, that she had possibly grown attached to him before he could to her, it made what they had seem even more special. It have him more hope that they could fix it.
@♙ Jung Hoseok As his lips touched hers on his own accord, she wasn’t sure whether she should have moved away. Clearly, she had kissed him too but it almost felt like too much to have him act again. Why though? Was the fear still stuck to her bones so much that her opinion and thought became rather bipolar? She couldn’t tell. “I’m talking about your birthday surprise.” Andy couldn’t keep herself from touching him. As his head rested on her lap, her hand reached out to brush over his cheek up to his hair playing with the brown locks as she caressed him. Somehow it was sweet to have him like this, innocent in way.
She seriously wondered what was going on with him. He was quite attached, clingy even as it seemed as if he wanted this closeness before Andy would be scared away again. “Well, you should though, you will hopefully like my surprise...” She whispered. Of course they could have stayed like this cuddling all day in front of the fire without actually doing anything. Andy wouldn’t mind. After over four-hundred years of living there was no particular need to run around all day doing crazy activities only for the sake of doing anything. For a moment she thought about how she hadn’t read in quite some time. How would it be to be snuggles up to Hoseok and have him read a book to her? It sounded like a sweet fantasy, hearing his voice all day, being snuggled up to him all day.
“Ouch!” It ripped her out of her daydream as his head suddenly bumped against her jawline. Andy rubbed over the area as he sat up having a ‘tsk’ sounds press past her lips. “Of course it is for you, idiot. Do you see anyone else here?” Her words were a little too harsh but maybe that was because she had expected a little bit more excitement than him acting like it was a hassle to get up for all the food, as if it was nothing.
Only then did she realise his coughs. The sounded serious as if he was in deep pain from them rushing through his chest. “Are you sick?” She asked as another cough left his lips. Her hand reached out to touch his forehead only to realize that it was burning hot. “Oh god, Hoseok---” Andy said as worry suddenly rushed through her. It must have been because of the open door and him sleeping so close to it that once the fire had died it had been too cold for him.
“You need to get into bed. God, why did you decide to sleep here? There was plenty of space next to me.” Andy only considered why he had done this as the words had already left her lips. Though, she did not actually care being more worried about him right now. “Come on, let’s get you into bed.” She got up herself to then wrap her arm beneath his and somehow awkwardly pull him up from his makeshift bed to walk over to the actual bed with him. Her strength was back at least or maybe it was just that he didn’t fight back against her as she covered him with the sheets once he lay in the real bed.
Her eyes shifted to all the food she had gotten and then back to Hoseok. “Do you really think the Bathory princess gets into trouble for anything?” She snickered. Then, however, she reached out to touch his forehead again still worried at how hot it was and at the coughing that also seemed serious to her. Andy went over to the dresser looking for a towel which she found in the corner of the drawer. In the bathroom she wetted it with cold water, then returning to place it onto his forehead as a help to cool it down. “Try to take some more rest. I’ll take care of everything else.”
For a moment she debated whether to get medicine from realm A---they didn’t have any in St. Petersburg as vampires didn’t get sick in the human way---or if it wasn’t necessary. Andy didn’t want to leave him alone here by himself. What if something happened? Not that she particularly knew what that could have been. In the end, she decided to take the veggies she had bought and went outside with them. Though before doing that she turned around once more. “I’m serious, you better be asleep by the time I enter the hut again.”
Outside she looked at all the veggies in her hands, for a moment she wasn’t actually sure how this would work. The last time she had seen some human cook something had been ages ago. Didn’t she need like spices or anything to make it tasty? Andy was utterly confused as she looked for the stuff she would need. A pan? A knife to chop the vegetables? She gave up as she couldn’t find anything like this outside of his hut. How did he even survive without a real kitchen? A vampire wouldn’t need one but a human definitely should have.
In the end, she gave up. This was not going to work here but she knew a place where there could be the utensils she needed. Andy teleported herself to Hoseok’s childhood home, now that she could jump around this freely without needing to keep anything a secret. The kitchen being now cleaner than ever was a the right place for her too try cooking.
Andy chopped the vegetable in utter concentration before throwing it into a pan and filling it up with water to then put it on the stove. Just cooking it for some time, right? This should work somehow. She added a bit of salt but wasn’t too sure if it would taste at all. Not feeling in the mood to try the human food herself, she went out of the kitchen into the living room meanwhile. Andy went to the shelf with the books where she had snatched the family album from the last time. One book in specific caught her attention. It seemed to be a children’s book. She opened the first page only to see his name written into it with crayons. It brought a smile to her lips. Maybe this was something they could read out to their kids later on. The idea of it was weird, their kids, reading it out to them---Andy didn’t even know if she could stay with him at all and, furthermore, stay here with all these other vampires around. God, no one was allowed to figure out.
Clutching the book beneath her arm, she went back into the kitchen deciding that the soup should be ready by now. Andy filled it into a big bowl and put a spoon into it before teleporting herself back in front of the hut. It felt weird to appear right in front of him as he was probably still not as used to all of this.
“I tried my best with this. I’m not sure if it will taste good or anything but someone once told me that soup always helps when being sick.” She said as she entered the hut again.
@ꕥ♛ Andy Bathory "Beneath the mattress," he whispered the placement of the dual daggers. The morning after he had attacked her, had disgraced himself, he quickly put them back where he pulled them from...of course after cleaning Andy's blood off of the one that had been lodged in her leg. Hoseok did not want to look at them, but he also did not want to leave them out in fear that somehow, someway, somebody was to come around and take them from him. Possibly someone that would be much more dangerous than he. Hoseok could not risk Andy being put into danger again because of him.
"I can move them to somewhere you can see." But he did not want to touch them, he was afraid to, afraid of what he had done. Scared that if he touches them once more, he will end up having the memory wash over him again. He did not want that...did not want to think about it.
It was odd having Andy in his arms as if nothing had changed between them. Hoseok was not complaining, instead, he cherished every second that he held her (although it was selfish of him to think that way while she cried). "It's not your fault...you were weak, how could you protect your baby when you had just given birth?" Even for a Vampire woman, she mahy have lost a lot of blood, her body must have been in a lot of pain. It was quite common for a woman to die from complications during childbirth in Realm G, of course she would be too weak to go against those who wanted her baby dead. "You had nobody to help you protect them."
His muscles twitched at hearing her say "lover". He knew he did not deserve to be jealous, and how ridiculous it was for him to be even slightly upset that there was someone out there that she may have loved before him. But Hoseok wanted to live in the fantasy that he was the only one, the only one that had held her like this, touched her, kissed her. "Stay here, stay with me." He just continued to whisper to Andy. Even if she did not believe it, Hoseok thought it was the best solution, that it was the safest thing for her and the babies.
"But it would be worth the work...Andy I just want..." He was being selfish again, throwing his wants at her. Was it possible that she was trying to reject him gently, trying her bets to avoid conflict with him by making excuses as to why they couldn't run away together? "I don't care about those people," he mumbled, more so to himself than to her. All those that he had interacted with in the Realm had only used him, only held their hand out to him, asking him what he will do next for them.
His blood ran cold at her words. "A-andy...that's..." His mouth pressed into a line as he watched her. He felt nauseated at the thought of hurting her, the image of his bloodied hands popped in his head. It was not what he meant, not at all. Yet, Andy still had a point. He would possibly use the same aggression that he did with her, that he would be no different from the monster that he was that night. There was only one difference between the monster her was that night and the one he would be if someone were to take away what was his from him. He wouldn't hesisitate.
She was afraid of him again, the moment that they shared together was no more. Hoseok's hand shook, even as she grasped it. He didn't want Andy to avoid him, to no longer want to be around him. No matter how prepared he thought that he was, he would never be able to accept just looking at a photograph of her.
The sound of his heart must have been easy for her to hear, with the way it violently pounded in his chest. "Even after all that...you still love me?" His voice was weak, trembling. His fingers gave hers a gentle squeeze before she pulled from him again. Slowly, he sat back up, watching as Andy crawled to the head of the bed, her thin legs slipping underneath the blankets. "Stay as long as you'd like."
He sat there for a few minutes, quietly watching Andy's curled up body. He wanted to lay right beside her, like he had always done. But right now, it was nowhere near appropriate. She had just told him that although she loves him, she could not bring herself to trust him, and his laying beside her seemed disrespectful to him. Thus, Hoseok slowly climbed out of the bed, careful not to move around too much, in fear that he may wake her.
It would be best for him to sleep on the floor, away from her. It was better that way, for the both of them anyways. Quietly, he changed out of his outdoor clothes, into his usual sweat pants and t-shirt, although he opted to pull a sweater on as well. Hoseok did not dare to close the door, instead he decided to pile blankets onto the floor in front of the fireplace, setting it up like he did back at his old home.
Before he officially settled down, Hoseok checked on Andy, making sure she was properly tucked in with the blankets tight around her. If only he hadn't messed up, he wouldn't be watching her so cautiously, he wouldn't be so careful about making sure she did not wake when he leaned in to press a kiss to her cheek.
Hoseok looked longingly at Andy, wishing more than anything that he could be over there than here. Finally, he settled down to go to sleep.
********
Hoseok was freezing through the night, especially when the flames finally went out. His body was curled into a fetal position, as if he were trying to preserve and and all warmth that may be trying to leave his body. But then suddenly, warmth returned to his limbs, there was no longer a breeze that caused him to tremble, even with his layers. With this new-found warmth, his limbs spread out, making him sprawl out on his back.
Something flutter over his lips, then he heard Andy's voice speaking to him. It must have been a dream, of course her lips were not pressed to his own, of course she was not whispering against them. Slowly, his dark eyes started to open, squinting at the brightness of the room. And from Andy's face being so close to his.
"Mm...?" The sound was mixed with both a whine and a grunt as he tried to get his bearings together, figure out just what Andy was talking about, and just why her lips brushed over his. He could not help but sleepily raise himself to press his lips against hers once more. Oh how badly he wanted to kiss her like he did the other day. "What are you talking about?" His voice was gruff with sleep as he dropped back down, turning towards her, his head rested on Andy's lap.
A smell wafted through the room, which in Hoseok's tired state, he had not noticed it before. And even now he had a hard time when he was so indignant about clinging onto Andy and if he did not have the sudden urge to cough. "I don't want to get up yet," he mumbled, his fingers curling into her borrowed sweater. Hoseok would have kept it up if it were not for the spread that he saw on the tiny table in his hut.
"What...wait. Where did you get that?" He sat up quickly, accidentally bumping head into her chin. Hoseok leaned away from Andy briefly, coughing again, though his eyes were still on the treats on the table. "Is that for me?" He asked as he began to sit up. He hadn't quite heard her when she said it was for his birthday, and it still was not clicking that he was the only person present that would eat this food. It was a very long time since he had seen a cake.
Hoseok coughed heavily into the crook of his elbow, trying his best to not cough in Andy's face. "Sorry," He was sick from being cold all night, and it certainly . It meant he could not enjoy the things Andy brought to their full potential, especially if he develops a stuffy nose as well.
"Aren't you going to get in trouble for bringing these things into the realm?"
@♙ Jung Hoseok Her upper body jumped a little as he figured out so easily just what her eyes had been looking for. He seemed to know just how paranoid and uncomfortable it made her to be aware of the daggers being close enough for him to reach for any time. “Where do you keep them?” She finally asked even though she wasn’t sure if it was a good idea to know of their location. Would she flinch away, ready to run whenever he was close to them with her knowledge of where they were? Then again maybe knowing was better than being scared whenever he reached somewhere.
She remembered the polaroid from that time she had found him at his childhood home. “It’s nice that you kept it.” Andy said. They could take more now that she could just get everything that was needed without him questioning where she got all the new things from. Obviously, she had access to way more than what could ever be found in the realm. “That is true but I guess it will stay a surprise for now.” Andy commented upon the gender question. Not that it actually mattered, she loved her babies whatever they were.
Somehow she would have expected him to comment on her keeping the door open even if it turned the hut colder than it was supposed to be. Though instead of questioning he was caring enough to just have a fire going and leaving the door open for her. Her paranoia calmed as it suddenly mattered less where the weapons were. All that was important was his genuinely caring reaction to her fear while he was the one who would end up freezing just for her to be more calm.
Loving their babies mattered most of course but it still didn’t change anything about their future, about the constant danger they would be in. It definitely wasn’t easy. Her rambling went on and on and she didn’t manage to shut up as she tried to tell him just who she was, finally speak the truth to figure out his reaction to all of this. What if, no matter what he said, all he wanted was a human girl and not some weird vampire who had tricked him?
Andy almost hadn’t noticed his intense presence next to her until she had needed him to hold onto. Suddenly, she wasn’t scared of him anymore, not in this moment when all she needed was someone to hold her close after for the first time talking about what had left her in despair and sorrow for hundreds of years. “It is my fault... I couldn’t save him...” She sobbed as her tears still wetted his sweater. Her hand clutched onto his back as her body felt empty from the pain. She managed to calm a bit as he held her even closer, so close that no piece of paper could have parted them. Hoseok smelt like home, her safe haven, the scent that had engulfed her whenever her heart had reacted to him. And even if it had been that same scent that night it was still him, the person she loved.
“San... he’s my ex-lover from quite some time ago. I thought I could tell him about my pregnancy because we were always close friends even before and after but he freaked out.” Andy sighed. Her tears had stopped but she still held onto Hoseok as if her life depended on it. “I should have just not told anyone and kept my pregnancy a secret. They will question who the father is, maybe even smell the human blood in their veins.” Andy had not considered all the trouble that could still follow. During the festivities she had just been glad to be distracted from Hoseok for a while but now she regretted that he had trusted someone apart from Yume, who had helped her with figuring out her pregnancy in the first place.
There roles seemed to have switched as it was now her turn to listen to what was on his mind. Andy wanted to believe him so badly, wanted to trust him that he could really protect them, have them be a little family. She had never felt like her family had actually supported her, like her mother had loved her when all that was important had been to learn how to rule over the people. “That sounds nice.” And still she sighed seeing almost no possibility for it to actually work out. “The woods are big but your hut is here. It would be hard to rebuild everything somewhere else. It would be hard for you to visit the people from the village. What if you go crazy when you are just around me and two screaming babies?” The thought almost made her smile, not that he would go crazy but that they would be a real family.
Andy froze at his next words. The threat, even though it seemed more to be meant as a promise, that he would kill anyone in their way had her tremble as her mind faded back to that night. “Just like you wanted to kill me that night?” Her voice trembled but she hadn’t managed to keep herself from saying these words. She knew that he hadn’t mean it this way but it still it had her free herself from the hug to sit up on the bed and forming a distance between them.
“Hoseok...” Andy leaned a little forward to take his hand into hers even though she kept the distance on the bed. “I---” It was hard to say it. What if it was a bad idea? What if it was too soon? Her trust was broken and still she could not imagine not being with him. Her heart craved more of his touch while her mind screamed at her to get away. There was nowhere else to go to, not that she even wanted to be anywhere else. It was as if her heart was connected to his with this deep, emotional string just like those with a sire had told her about, just that she didn’t need a bond by blood to feel this way. It was all because of him, he had stolen her heart just like that, quite literally no strings attached. “---I didn’t stop loving you just because of what happened... it’s not like I can turn off some switch in my heart... though trusting might be another story...” She sighed. Her heart craved him, wanted to hold him close and never stop touching him but there was this big warning sign going crazy in her head at the same time.
“I hope that it’s okay for me to sleep here... it might be better not to return to the palace.” Andy crawled beneath the sheets turning her head away from him. Her body was still slightly trembling just at the thought of what if she woke up to a weapon burning her skin again. She didn’t know if he would lay next to her as she just tried to fade out of this night. Even if it felt like forever she managed to finally fall asleep after some time.
****
Andy woke up to the sunlight tickling her nose. She woke up only to find the bed next to her empty. Where was Hoseok? Paranoia took her over as she pushed the blanket away to check her body for any marks, at least the areas she could see. A sigh of relief washed over her as it seemed as if nothing had happened. Somehow it felt wrong to feel this way. Nothing would happen as long as she was pregnant, right? Her hand moved down to touch her belly under the sweater she had gotten from Hoseok.
She got up from the bed only to find him lying by the fireplace. There was no fire burning in it anymore and the door was still open allowing a cold breeze to travel into the hut. He must have been freezing for the night and Andy felt bad seeing him like this. It must have been her fault that he decided to have her sleep alone, in his bed. Even though he lay on a blanket and had one over his body, she still took the one she had slept under to cover him with it. Andy took the pants and pulled them on to cover herself completely before going out of the hut and quietly closing the door behind her. There was nothing but meat by the place where he had sat yesterday. Did he even eat anything apart from what he hunted in the woods?
Andy decided to use her teleportation skills in order to get to realm A quickly. There they had all the food any human could wish for. Plus, it had been his birthday yesterday, he deserved to have a nice breakfast. St. Petersburg wouldn’t have offered anything but the market in realm A had anything a human could wish for. She got everything from fruits, vegetables, bread and cheese over to pasta and snacks, tea, even a cake. It was a belated birthday breakfast of sorts. With two bags on her arms and the cake in her hands did she teleport herself back in front of his hut. Andy hoped that he still slept as she sneaked inside. Luckily, he was which give her the chance to walk over the table where she placed the food she had gotten for the breakfast. The cake was put in the middle with everything else placed around it. She left the snacks and other stuff for lunch inside the bag. It was quite a lot as she wanted him to have a stock of things that he couldn’t get around here.
As everything was done she walked over to where he slept. Andy kneeled in front of his makeshift bed. For a moment she paused, unsure whether she wanted to place a kiss on his forehead or dare to even brush her lips against his. Her heart raced like crazy as she leaned down. The choice fell onto his lips pressing hers on them so softly and faintly like butterfly wings brushing against them. “Wake up, there is a belated birthday surprise for you.” Andy whispered against his lips as if it was a secret only they should know about.
@ꕥ♛ Andy Bathory It was honestly surprising to Hoseok that Andy agreed so easily to come inside with him. He knew it was wrong to ask her, but with her mentioning the night being cold, he was now suddenly feeling the chill of the night. And although he had taken his oath as a slayer, and was more powerful than a normal human could imagine, he could still die of natural causes, like freezing to death. Thus, he led Andy in, closing the door behind them to keep the cold air out.
Hoseok had noticed the way she looked around, making his heart tense in pain. She was looking for his daggers, making sure that they were not near him, uncertain if she was truly safe within his home. "Would it make you more comfortable if I left them out? So that you know that they're not within arms-reach?" He asked before he set out clothes for her to change. He did not want to just take his weapons out without her telling him what makes her most comfortable. But if it were him, he would not like the idea of not knowing where these weapons were, as they were hidden the night that he had attacked her. She had not known of the existence of such weapons being in his possession.
Sweet relief washed over him when Andy let him know he could keep the ultrasound image, how she had her own back at home. "Thank you," he said in response. Now, even if Andy decided that he was not allowed to be near her and the children, he would at least have this. He wanted to at least be able to look upon them in this manner. "I'll keep it with that picture I took of you before," he continued. He had nearly forgotten about the polaroid from his family's old home. At the time, he had forgotten, having seen her nearly every day after that, waking up to her beside him at times. Hoseok never imagined that he would need that picture to look at her, to long for her. He was glad he still had it now.
If they were in a much more normal situation if there were not the tension from her paranoia, and even his hate for himself for what he had done, Hoseok would have pressed her against his body as he felt her pregnant one. He could have pressed his lips against her cool skin, showing how very much he loved her and loved the idea of Andy having his children. But they weren't in the position for him to be able to kiss upon her body like that, to love her how he wanted. He ruined that for himself, so he settled with the chance to rub her stomach, listening to her wonder about the gender. "The gender doesn't matter, but a girl and a boy would be nice...and easier to tell apart," he smiled softly at the thought.
'Oh no, I did something wrong didn't I?' He asked himself when Andy suddenly pulled away, looking very unhappy. He knew that it was something that was like a fantasy, to able to be with her. But he wanted it, and if she were to let him, he would take all the time in the world to make her trust him again. He would do anything for her, just so that she would see him how she once did. Cold air entered the hut, causing him to shiver. She must be nervous, afraid enough to be able to have the exit unblocked. Hoseok said nothing, instead, he turned immediately to his fireplace he got a fire going.
"I didn't say it would be easy," he mumbled as he crouched in front of the logs, shivering as he made quick work to get the flames to eat away at the logs. He knew that he had asked too much, not only would it be hard for her mind because he ruined it...but a human and vampire relationship...it was near unspeakable. Let alone a slayer and a vampire. This relationship, this pregnancy, it was much too complicated, and he had made it complicated for both of them with his having taken the oath. With his needing to kill her...but the difference was...he did not have some petty rules to follow. He was not told that he could not have a relationship with a vampire, could not come to fall in love with one, maybe it was implied. But there wasn't a written rule like for the covens. "All that would matter is that we accept them and protect them, right? It doesn't matter what anyone else thinks, Andy." It did certainly did not. Everyone else could go themselves for all he cared. He had said it before, he'd kill whoever tried to touch her or them.
She spoke and spoke while Hoseok watched her, taking in everything about her. He certainly was screwed with her being a princess in the Bathory family, a royal...not only did he impregnate her, but he tried to kill her. He was certainly going to suffer the consequences for that if anyone were to find out about it. He found himself staring at her unblinkingly as she spoke, he really did not want to let go of the image of her from his mind. What if this was the last that he saw of her?
"You weren't rambling, you were catching me up on things...besides, I like hearing your voice." She could talk all night, and no matter, he would not try to interrupt her, as all he wanted was to keep her voice ingrained. She has such a soothing voice. It wasn't until Andy started to talk about her last pregnancy that Hoseok blanked.
Why it came as a surprise to him, he did not know. But now...it all made plenty more sense as to whom she spoke of when she said she lost someone dear to her. It was not another man, but it was her own child, someone that would be closer to her than he could ever imagine being. Anger settled in his bones, his teeth clenching when she spoke. How disgusting, to kill an innocent child with no remorse, to leave the mother sitting in despair with its dead body. To murder the child in cold blood. It was despicable, but that is not all that made him angered. It was because it happened to Andy, that it was her child that was murdered...why she was so scared to tell him she was pregnant in the first place.
Hoseok found himself climbing onto the bed to lay by her, though he made no move to touch Andy. He did not want her to once again be nervous about his presence. Yet, due to her emotional state, she held onto him, her tears wetting his sweater. "You're no monster, all you wanted was to love your baby. You were not the one..." She wasn't the one to kill her child. She was forced to watch him die. Did she believe that since she had given him to someone she trusted that she was at fault for his death? Hoseok ran his fingers through her hair. "It's not your fault Andy."
Once again she mentioned some man, someone that she was afraid will cause her babies to be stripped from her. Hoseok pressed Andy closer to him, his hand falling from her hair to press into her back. "Who is this person you speak of? You mentioned them when we were outside." He was curious very curious but also wanted to make a mental note of just who to find if the twins were taken from Andy.
"It won't happen again, I refuse..." He refused to have his family stripped from his life once more because Vampires were too afraid of the unknown, too afraid to not have control. "Nobody will touch them. Not if I'm alive...what happened to you before...it won't happen again. I can protect you, protect them...I know it's hard to believe because..." Hoseok paused and took a deep breath, his eyebrows furrowing, his eyes squeezing shut. 'Because I tried to kill you,' he finished the sentence in his head, trying hard to not remind her of the last act they had here.
Hoseok reached around Andy, clutching the ultrasound image in his hand. "Oh Andy..." he sighed, "Let's just run away...when you trust me again...if you ever do, let's get as far from her as possible." He could not believe he was possibly suggesting it. Suggesting getting away from his family, away from the memories of his childhood, his life here. But he lived in the now. And if Andy got caught, if she were to be killed along with the twins. Hoseok would never be able to handle it.
"I can protect us, I mean it. We can find somewhere to build a new life and...and..." And what? Let her live in fear once more, let her believe that he may try and kill her again. "Build a family," he whispered. "Nobody will have to know, nobody will be living in those areas anyways right? Everything is destroyed, but I can make it work, we can live happily." His voice was straining, starting to sound desperate. He found his body shivering once more, not because of the cold, but because his anxiety was rising. The vampires killed her baby once, what makes them think that it wouldn't happen again.
"And if you don't want to leave...I already said what I'd do if someone were to touch them, Andy. I'm not going to allow you to be hurt like that again. You don't deserve that...I will kill anyone that gets in our way, that refuses to accept our children." Hoseok removed his hand from her body, finding himself start to press her more forcefully against him. His hand fell between their bodies, not want his own strength to scare her.
He needed her to know how serious he was, but how was he to do that when he had no way to prove his loyalty. How was she to know that he won't just do it again, that he will not just fulfill his nature as a slayer? She is not just anyone, he is the woman that he loves, the woman that he would not be able to live without. If he had gone through with killing her that night, he would have followed as soon as he processed what he had done.
"What can I do so that you will love me...trust me again?"
“Did you already forget what I am?” Andy asked almost snickering at his and her own comment but it wasn’t funny due to the way he had figured it out. She sighed. “Doesn’t matter if I dress warm or if I don’t...” His comment had a rosé colour adorn her cheeks. The dress had been the right choice even if she hadn’t been at the ball for too long. At least Hoseok saw her like this now instead of the basic clothes she had gotten for her fake life in realm G.
Her eyes were glued to him as she waited for some kind of reaction. For her it felt like forever until he seemed to process just what she was telling him. “Yes, twins.” Andy confirmed again, still not sure if he understood. At the news of having twins she had almost fainted yesterday. Two babies, two little souls she had to protect. And at the same time she had been blessed with being a mother of two instead of just one. The babies weren’t a replacement for the first she had lost but they were a new chance for her, new luck, new happiness. After having doubted that she would ever be able to be a mother again, had almost given up on her dream, she now had her whole dream become true twice.
Andy saw the tears forming in his eyes through the light of the fire and for a moment it scared. . Did he not want this? Did it drive him away even further? That was until her body was suddenly pressed against his. A gasp pressed past her lips, eyes wide open as she felt straitened at first, as if red lights flashed through her head screaming at her to run away as quickly and as far as she could. As she heard his words, her body and mind relaxed a little. There was no need for worry, she told herself. While there still was this spark in her head telling her how stupid she was for not moving away, her heart needed this, needed to feel his body curl into hers, needed his warmth to engulf her like a safe haven. There was still love in her heart, a sensation that would never die. He missed her, at least he said that. ‘...that you lost me?” Andy wanted to finish his sentence, wondering if this was what he had wanted to say. Deep down she wanted all this to be true because she had missed him too, like crazy. It had evoked such a conflict in her, being scared and at the same time needing him, missing him. If only everything was easier. Her heart felt empty as he let go of her. “You can... I... this is o-okay...” She mumbled not really knowing what she wanted to say. All she wanted was to switch those thoughts of that stopped her from being close to him.
“Ah yes... that might be a good idea.” It surprised herself that she agreed so quickly and easily to going into the hut with him again, the place where everything had started to go right just as wrong. Her heart raced in her chest, pumped up to as she was back inside the hut. Her eyes scanned the room but she couldn’t see the daggers anywhere. And what if he had more weapons? What if he thought that her coming here was his chance to finally get rid of her, finish what had gone wrong the other night?
‘Get your together, Andy.’ She thought to herself. Hoseok had said that he wouldn’t let anyone hurt the babies so he wouldn’t do anything as long as they grew in her, right? But what if it had been a lie? God, she was paranoid to the point that her body trembled just from her worries and fear. Somehow it calmed her as he took out clothes for her, it had almost become a routine and it made her feel normal. This had happened most of the times she had been here and it had always been a caring act of him. “Yes, of course. I have another copy in my room.” She said. Andy had wanted to always have the picture with her, to have something to look at whenever she would go insane from the worries she had. Almost as if to remind her brain what she had to fight for.
Reaching for the zipper to take the dress of frustrated her as she did not manage to do it by herself. She didn’t want to say anything because that would only lead to him being close again, lead to her needing to turn her back to him once more---a perfect change for him to ram the dagger back into her. “Y-yes maybe...” Andy mumbled as she was still not sure if she actually wanted it but the dress was ped before she could even protest. It was a faint smile that appeared on her lips because of the compliment but it faded just as quickly.
At his words she nodded, allowing him to touch her. The dress fall to her ankles and she felt exposed to him, vulnerable even as he touched her, could hurt her so easily. Before, this had never mattered, before, she had wanted to show herself to him. Now it felt different, distant even as his hand lay on her bump. “I wonder what gender they will be and what features they will have from us.” She admitted having thought about that for a while.
Her body tensed at his next words. Be with him. How was that supposed to work? She missed him, she loved him but she was just as scared. Did he think that all this was going to be easy? Andy moved away from him as she stepped out of the dress on the floor to grab only the sweater that he had put out for her. She brushed it over her body to at least wear more than just her underwear even though she didn’t care about the pants.
Suddenly the hut felt so small as if the walls moved closer to suffocate her. Her immediate reaction was to walk over to the door and reopen it to have the cool night hit her. It eased her to know that the way to escape was open, that she could get away if she needed to. Then, she sat down on the edge of the bed, her body crouching with her knees pulled up to her chest again. “It’s not that easy, Hoseok.” Andy finally worded. “You might not have considered this because you probably don’t know but---” She took a deep breath in between her words. “---our babies will be hybrids, half-human and half-vampire.” Her hand moved to her belly placing it on it. “Hybrids are hated, more than that even. They are not allowed to exist, it is one of the highest laws. Our babies will be in danger their whole life long because they won’t be accepted neither by the humans nor the vampires. Throughout the past it has always been like this. Back then when I was---” Her voice broke off as she had almost revealed where all her pain had come from. Maybe she shouldn’t, maybe it would just make him freak out, make him feel as if she had done all this on purpose or whatever his crazy brain would come up with.
“You probably figured out by now that I am not twenty-three, I just stopped aging physically around that time.” She ran her hand through her hair as she thought about all the lies she had told him just to make him believe that she had been a human. Hoseok didn’t actually know anything about her, maybe all this would change his opinion even more about her than just the fact that she was a vampire. “I ran away from my responsibilities when I was younger after having had this big fight with my mom. I had ed up my life in her eyes because of being around those humans all the time. All these rules just because I was the crown princess supposed to learn how to rule over the people. But back then I had had my own worries, she just hadn’t wanted to listen to me, brushed me off, was no support, told me to get my life together and all that ---” Her rambling probably didn’t make any sense to Hoseok and it didn’t even make too much sense to herself as all this was suddenly so vivid in her mind again.
“Sorry for rambling...” Andy mumbled as she leaned back having her body het the mattress. As her mind was stuck in those memories, it was as if she had forgotten what had happened on this bed days ago. Her eyes were glassy as she stared up at the ceiling her mind spacing out. “What I’m trying to say is that---” Again, her heart was going crazy in her chest. Should she tell him? Reveal her biggest secret? She rolled onto her side to look at him, tears forming in her eyes as her hand clutched into the sweater where her belly was. “I was pregnant back then too, with a hybrid baby. God, I was dumb, so dumb. That fight was because of it, she told me I had to kill it... I ran away from home trying to protect my baby. But a few hours after I had given birth they had found me as if they had smelled the partly human blood flowing in it---that midwife she ripped my baby boy from me before they had reached us, she told me that she would protect it while I was too weak and I believed her but...” The tears increased streaming over her cheeks as she was lost in the memory. Her baby boy’s screams echoed in her head.
“Oh god...” The twinge in her chest intensified as the images were right in front of her eyes having her live through all of it again. “They killed him... killed him right in front of my eyes and I couldn’t do anything, I couldn’t protect him...” Her whole system broke down as she had for the first time ever told someone about this. Her body trembled, shivered, her tears increased, sobs broke through her lips and she felt lonely, so lonely.
Though for the first time that she had this breakdown, she wasn’t alone. Hoseok lay next to her without thinking twice she threw herself at him. Andy curled into his body as they lay on their sides, chest pressed together as she cried onto his sweater. Her arms cradled him trying to hold him even closer. “I-I’m a monster...” She sobbed. Losing her baby had always haunted her, had always had her hate herself, her mother, her whole family, just everyone involved or not involved. They should have killed her back then but instead she had been left behind to deal with her own despair. For days she hadn’t had let go of her baby’s corpse until an old friend had found her like that. Ever since she had constantly been on the run from herself, from the past. Never had she managed to settle anywhere even after having had travelled the whole world. There was no home with her heart having died that day too.
Hoseok had changed this, the love she felt for him healed her heart step by step even if that one part would always be missing. “I need to protect them... no vampire should know that I am pregnant... they will kill them too... god no... I can’t lose them too... but now he knows and freaked out, what if he tells anyone? What if they figure out? Maybe I should leave before all this falls apart too...”
Only now did she realize what monologue she had thrown at him. God. All that only because she wanted him to understand in how much danger their babies were for being hybrids. The world was a scary place with no escape. Andy had no idea what to do. At least in this moment he held her but the thoughts collapsed on her that even with him she wasn’t save. Hoseok was a slayer, had tried to kill her. There was no future for them, no future for the babies if Andy stayed with him. It was his oath to kill every vampire, she knew that much, and she couldn’t tell what he would choose if he snapped one day again.
Hoseok woke up the next morning feeling like complete and utter . It reminded him of the few times he had gotten his hands on alcohol and drank until he had been drunk and vomiting. It felt as though he were hungover. His hands felt over the bed, not remembering having fallen asleep, let alone being under the blankets. Andy must have covered him up when he fell unconscious from the amount of blood he had lost.
Andy.
His eyes fell on his hand, the one that searched the bed, his stomach twisting in a terrible way at the sight. He pushed his head off of his bed as he got sick, the sound of his bile splattering against the floor filled the room. He had hoped, wish that everything that had happened was a nightmare, that he would wake up today and everything would be fine. But the sight of Andy's dried blood covering his hand proved to him just how real everything was.
"...,..." Hoseok yelled out, his voice echoing against the hut walls. He beat his head with his fists, tugged at his hair in anger. Why, why...why did he have to ruin the one good thing in his life? The one person that brought him joy, that made him feel like he had a purpose again. He found someone that he would give his life to protect, and in the end...he was the monster that she had to be protected from. "Andy..." He groaned out her name, tears streamed down his face, dripping from the tip of his nose. He stopped beating himself up, hanging partially off of his bed, hovering over his vomit in defeat.
Who knew that he would become so blinded by revenge, that he would even hurt those that he loved. He never thought that he would need the mental strength to control himself, he never thought...that he would possibly be too unstable for the title of a slayer. No...he wasn't too unstable for a slayer in those terms...it is his duty to kill her, to destroy her kind.
But he can't. Not her, not Andy. He'd rather kill himself than even think about doing that again. Even if she were to never see him again, he vowed to kill anyone and anything that hurt her. He already ed up on his end, he wasn't going to allow Andy to feel that pain, even if it meant having to do something illegal like hop the border to make sure that she was safe.
Andy and their child...they'll be safe. He will make sure of it.

The next few days that passed were painstakingly long. Hoseok tried his best to busy himself, but it was to no avail. No matter what he did, he felt as though her blood covered his hands. He heard her blood-curdling screams. He could not stop thinking about it, about how he became a monster. A monster that was so horrible that the nightmares he used to have...they were replaced with these disgusting memories. He could not forgive himself even if he wanted to, not when she haunted his thoughts.
He missed her. Yet, Hoseok also did not want her anywhere near him. He was quite conflicted. He wanted her close to him, wanted to feel happiness from being around her, wanted to experience all that she had to offer as a lover and a mother of his child. "Stop thinking about it," he mumbled out loud, knowing that Andy was most definitely afraid of him. Even if she fell into his embrace, held him in desperation, it had become clear that she would never see him the same. He couldn't risk Andy being unhappy because he was around, because he was being selfish and keeping her near him.
The day was warm, warm enough for Hoseok to attend to his work in just a sweater. He hunted again, having no more meat to spare after his trips to the village and eating for his meals. It felt strange, holding onto his bow. He felt almost uncomfortable to be carrying around a weapon, but how was he to eat if he did not have something to kill the creatures with? He also couldn't trust every plant in the woods, as many of them looked too similar to poisonous ones. He had already found himself violently ill from eating the wrong mushrooms again, and he would rather not risk that again.
The sun was still fairly high in the sky, maybe only a few hours past noon, when Hoseok brought his prized meal home. It was only a rabbit, but a surprisingly fat one at that. He was to have a meal out of the creature and continue his hunt for the week. Hoseok struggled mentally when he had to skin the animal, feeling horrible as he used daggers (not his blessed ones) for the act. He could not help but feel terrified when doing it, but he had to if he wanted to eat. He hadn't properly eaten since the morning after that violent night.
After Hoseok had cooked, eaten and cleaned up the mess of the rabbit, he found himself lost, sitting in front of the fire. Thoughts about that night once again abuse his mind, yet through it all, he still wished to see Andy. He was so selfish, too disgusting of a man that he let his greed guide him. He wanted her, he needed her. God, why was he so ed in the head? If he had never done those things if he had let it go...let go her being a vampire...he would have woken up that next morning to her beautiful, pale body beside his. He could have touched her, let his hands travel along her sides until he could hold her tight against him.
His mind wandered, the sky falling into the dark of the night. Even though it was obviously getting late, Hoseok sat there, staring into the flames. Maybe he could sit here all night and think about her.
A noise was heard in the pitch-black woods, causing Hoseok's head to whip towards the sound. His hand hovered over the dagger that he had used to prepare the rabbit. The lynx stared right back at him, causing his heart to pound heavily in his chest. Was this the same lynx that followed him around, stalked his home all those weeks ago? Suddenly, it's form shivered and changed, the form of a humanoid body kneeled before him. "Andy...?" His breath caught in his throat as he watched her stand upright.
So she was the one watching him. Quite the stalker she was back then.
"....says the woman that isn't even wearing a sweater..." He was mesmerized by the way her dress fell on her. The white fabric made her skin look beautiful...as if the bright white gave her skin a bit of color. Her tattoos stood out even more with the bright contrast..."You look gorgeous," he whispered to her, his dark eyes not being able to look away from her. He did not even want to blink. What if he was just imagining her presence? What if he really was just going insane and he had developed a severely unhealthy obsession with her?
What was this? Why did she dash forward, what was it that she pressed into his hand? Hoseok stared down at the expensive feeling paper, wondering if she was only planning on speaking to him with notes instead of words. His confusion became much grander when he opened it up, and all he saw was a grainy, blurred image on it. Her name was at the top of it "Bathory, Andy". Bathory...was she trying to show him just what he had gotten into? He knew that that name...that last name was that of one of the covens in the palace...meaning she was probably really important there.
But then she said it, the information hit him like a truck. "/Twins/," he gasped out. Having grown up in Realm G, he didn't really know what an ultrasound was, or even what he was looking at. Not until she stated that she was pregnant with twins. He understood now, he had seen one of these in an old family album, an ultrasound from when his mother was pregnant with his sister. He stood up slowly, his eyes glued to the photo as he leaned in toward the fire to get a better view.
He could see it now, the clear indication of two round fetuses, curled up against each other. "There's two," he continued to mumble to himself, half hearing her explanation. Though, he clearly heard her state that she wanted to be safe from someone. Even so-Hoseok was much too distracted by this information. He was happy, happy to be able to have this with her, to have not one, but two children on the way. The tears that formed made his nose burn.
Hoseok found himself reaching for her, but then he hesitated. Why would she want him to touch her after all that had happened? But even so...even then, he let his selfishness take control, his hands finding their way to her hips, pulling her into an embrace. "This...Andy...you...this all of this right now is the best thing I could ask for in a gift...Thank you." He took a deep breath, finding relief in her sweet scent. He had honestly not realized the date, not until she told him. "I missed you, I thought..." He pulled away from her, embarrassed that he still held her tight despite knowing her discomfort. "I'm sorry...I shouldn't...have just grabbed you like that..."
It was awkward, everything felt foreign to him now that he had to be careful with her. He felt exactly as he did during their first meeting. Shy, awkward, not sure what to do. "Do you...want to come inside and change into something comfortable?" He knew it was a long shot that she would agree to do such a thing, but surprisingly she did. Was it possible she was somehow, someway that she was more scared of whoever was at the palace than of him?
Once inside, Hoseok pulled out something more comfortable for Andy to wear, keeping his back turned to allow her some privacy. "Can I keep this Andy?" He asked, his attention on the ultrasound as he waited on her to change. He wanted to keep it, in case she decided that being around him put too much mental strain on her. He wanted to have her and the babies as close to him as possible, and if its through a photo, then so be it.
He glanced behind his shoulder briefly, wondering what was taking her so long. "C-can I help you get out of that?" Hoseok offered, setting the photo on the bed as he moved towards her. She had struggled to her dress this whole time and he was only now noticing. "You really do look amazing," he murmured as he pulled the zipper down her back, revealing her creamy skin. Everything about her was absolutely beautiful. Her eyes, her lips, her soft skin...tattoos...she was just...a goddess to him. Perfect.
"May I touch them?" Hoseok whispered when the zipper hit its end. He wanted to touch his babies, he wanted to hold her close, to whisper how much he loved her in her ear. But he couldn't so freely, not anymore.
It had gotten to the point that when she agreed to let him touch her beautiful bump, that he was still careful with her, pulling the straps down her shoulders, letting the white fabric drop around Andy's ankles. His hands were careful when they came around her body, careful to not touch anywhere but the gorgeous bump. His fingers slid over her smooth skin, spreading until both of his hands gently cradled her stomach.
"They'll be just as beautiful as you."
And he wanted to love them as much as he loved her. He wanted to be the present father that they deserved. To be a man that she did not have to fear but could love. He wanted her to love him again, love him as she did before his monstrous act, he needed her. He missed her.
His thumb gently caressed her round stomach. He must have been some sort of blind idiot if he did not understand that she was pregnant. Hoseok hadn't even noticed the change in her body, not even though she gained weight. "I want you to be with me Andy," he whispered.
@♙ Jung Hoseok If only the situation had been different, if only she could have taken his blood out of a more gentle one not one where she had previously feared for her life. Even with his warning, though she did not know if it was because he was scared of her and the weapon himself now or because he didn’t want her to feel more pain, she still took the dagger to press it into his throat just like he had done.
He was. In her rage she did not take him for anything else but the crazy bastard that she called him. How could he admit it himself? Her tear-filled eyes widened in shock as she saw, realized that he pressed into the blade willingly while she had not moved it deeper into him. Her heart raced even more as more blood dropped from his neck, dirtied the blade. Kill him? How could she? All she had wanted to do was make him feel the same way she had felt, do it out of rage and despair. All her emotions slamming onto her, the pain in her hand, the fear of actually losing the man she still loved through all of this, had her drop the knife from her hand.
Heal her hand, why would he have her drinking his blood again so willingly? He had already lost a lot through her drinking from before just like the cut on his throat that was still bleeding. This time she was close to his neck thanks to they way they held each other. Andy liked over his cut taking in the blood from there first before having her fangs dig into his skin a second time that night. This time she was gentle compared to her first aggressive bite. She didn’t take a lot, not wanting him to end up losing too much to a dangerous point. He was already weak himself.
Andy wanted to believe him so badly, wanted to trust into his words that he loved her but the throbbing pain in her thigh stopped her from believing him. It sounded like a lie to her ears after what had happened, after the way she had seen him freak out, go crazy, she just couldn’t believe those words anymore. His promise was just the same, something she wanted to believe but couldn’t. Hoseok would freak out again, would snap at some point and do just the same, then leaving her behind dead.
Their child, his child---just as she had been about to actually believe him with the soft embrace that ed up her emotions, he hadn’t talked about protecting her, all he wanted was to have his child, his only blood relation. Maybe he would really not hurt Andy until she gave birth, but then afterwards, what if he ripped the baby out of her arms to then kill her? The thought made her shiver, had her let go of him as he fell to the side hitting the mattress. Tears still rolled down her cheeks, her breath was uneven as she got up to collect her underwear from the floor and putting it on. Her own clothes were still dirty from before so she took the ones that he had taken out for her. His scent was stuck to the clothes and she wrapped her own arms around herself at the feeling of the fabric that he had worn before.
With her left hand she caressed over her belly beneath the sweater. “Don’t worry... your daddy will love you, he just... doesn’t love me for what I am...” Andy whispered to herself, talking to her baby. With her other hand she wiped the tears away. Walking over to the bed she placed a kiss on Hoseok’s forehead while he already slept, had passed out. She pulled the blanket over his body to cover him and protect him from the cold. For a moment longer she stayed to stare at him sleeping. This might be the last time she would ever see him but at least she could remember him being peaceful like this.
****
By now it had been four days since that night. Andy had barely been able to sleep, nightmares of his glare haunting her, of the knife in and of her being scared of losing her baby. Nonetheless, she missed him, had her heart aching for the man she loved. Though she couldn’t return to the man who might still take her life. Only the thought of it had her eyes form tears which she wiped away quickly before getting out of her bed. It was the day of the ball, a huge even for all the vampires and humans alike, who had been invited into the palace. Everyone but one human, if only he was here, she could have watched him from afar at least with enough protection around her. Weird to think that she now feared the one she had loved most, the father of her child.
The beautiful, white dress she had chosen was in her closet. First though, she took a look at herself in the mirror eyeing her bump. “I love you...” She whispered as her hand brushed over her belly. Andy was still slightly scared that it would be traumatized from that night, who knew how much babies sensed from their mother. Her leg looked bad, real bad with the yellowish bruise that had formed over the area where she had been stabbed, stab representing where the blood had flown. Even with the human, or more so slayer blood, having had helped the healing process, it would still leave a scar behind. Andy sighed. After a while she went over to putting on her makeup and styling her hair trying to ignore any thoughts that popped up in her head about Hoseok. Soon the white, flowy dress covered her body. Overall, she was satisfied with the way she looked, just like the princess she was supposed to be.
The festivities made her feel uncomfortable, all these humans around that almost made her forget Hoseok’s scent, something she didn’t want to let go off. At least she had had San, who had approached her for a dance. Though then all that could go wrong, went wrong. She shouldn’t have revealed her pregnancy. In fear of his treatment and threat, Andy had stormed out of the ballroom trying to get away as quickly and far as possible. Tears ran down her face as she passed the palace gate.
Andy ran and ran until it felt like her feet couldn’t carry her anymore. She was close to the boarder to realm g as she morphed herself into her lynx to run to the woods. Being pregnant she was slower than she would usually be but it didn’t matter as all she needed was to get to a place to hide. She just hoped that no one had followed her but her ears couldn’t sense anything. Like that she ran through the woods for what felt like forever even though it must have been less than an hour. She couldn’t tell, had no idea about the time. It was chilly, she sensed how the wind ran through her fur.
Suddenly, she found herself at a place all to familiar, Hoseok’s hut. Had her subconscious led her here? Andy stopped her pace and came to a halt right in front of what was a camp fire. There he was, staring right at her like she stared at him even though, or maybe especially because, she was still in her lynx form. God, how had she ended up here without even noticing? Why was she drawn to him? This was still her chance to run away but her body didn’t move even with her mind screaming at it. Instead, she morphed back into her original form. She got up from her kneeling position brushing a few leaves off of her dress.
Without saying a word she still stared at him before her gaze dropped to the fire. “It’s cold... wear something warm... you idiot.” Andy scolded with a mumbling voice as if that was the only thing that mattered in this moment. Her eyes were back on his body as she scanned him. She kept her distance being on the other side of the fire ready to run away any second. Still, her racing heart from before was a little more at ease now that she was here with him. Hoseok had promised not to hurt what grew inside of her, something that she actually believed in a way. It was somehow better than the rage that had been thrown at her in the palace. Babies would be safer with their father than any other man, right?
Babies---that reminded her of what happened yesterday. Her hand moved to the side of her dress where a pocket was hidden, Andy pulled out a small, piece of paper. For a moment she was not sure if she should move closer towards him or rather stay away. Quickly, she closed the distance between them pressing the piece of paper into his hand. Just as hurriedly she took two steps back, her body trembling just from being this close, from having her emotions take over.
Her breath got heavier as she just stood there to see his reaction. It was an ultrasound imagine, one showing just what grew inside of her. “We’re having twins.” Andy said with a lightly trembling voice. “This probably isn’t the best present, maybe none at all, maybe the worst, I had something else for you but I haven’t got it with me. I had to get away from the palace in a hurry because of what happened at the ball but I just wanted them to be safe from him and all the others. I just ended up here and---” Andy rambled, the words rushing out of her and she didn’t shut up until her mind finally processed what she had actually wanted to say. Somehow the thought gave her a warm, fuzzy feeling. Even if she had planned not to be around him again out of fear, she was almost happy that she had ended up here with him on his special day.
Why did he cry in such a way, act as though he were the victim in this situation? Possibly it was because he had gone so long with thinking that with taking his oath, he could finally protect those that he loved. Hoseok truly believed that he would never be hurt again, that those he loved would never become terrorized, as long as he was around. However, in the end, Hoseok became the terrorist, driving fear and pain into the woman he loved.
All because she was a vampire.
He did not hesitate originally, the moment that he figured out what she truly was, the only thought that came to mind was 'kill her'. All that he cared about was that she was the same being as the person that killed his family. But he knew what the man looked like, knew that Andy could not possibly have the same mindset of that vampire. Not once did she try to hurt Hoseok, she was always so gentle with him, and he would know as the duration of his time with her, his strength would have been nothing compared to hers. If she wanted to kill him, take advantage of him, she could have done so a long time ago.
She had loved him then, and now...with the way she flinched at his touch, tried her best to push him away, he knew that her love may be no more.
He sat up properly stilling his hips from continuing their gentle s into her. Pain tore through his chest when she questioned him with tear-filled eyes. Her question was valid, judging his previous actions. "Because you need it," his voice was soft as he responded. He tried his best to not sound harsh, not seem demanding, something that he knew he had trouble with at times. He did not want to force her to drink his blood but it was the only way that Andy would heal.
A sigh of relief sounded through the quiet hut when Andy reached for his wrist with shaking hands. She really was scared less, afraid of him to the point that she was afraid to touch him, let alone drink from his willing body. Hoseok helped Andy, moving his hand ever so slightly for her to be able to take it in her hands.
His pulse seemed to pound harder than ever as Hoseok watched her fangs lengthen. Her teeth were so perfectly white a straight. The sight of her canines elongating into sharp fangs, terrifyingly bright in the dark room, made him almost...excited. He had never been bitten, never was attacked with the teeth of a vampire himself. Some sold their blood off to those in St. Petersburg, allowing for a little taste. One could always pinpoint those who sold their blood, the marks of being bitten all over their bodies.
Her teeth buried into her skin aggressively, causing him to take in a sharp breath from the pain. It stung at first, but then...soon, intense pleasure washed over him. He had not expected such a thing, never having paid attention when he was told about a vampire's bite. He distinctly remembered being told that he had to be careful to not be bitten and that there was a reason why. He did not pay attention, nor did he care at the time. But now he knew.
A person could get hooked onto this pleasure as if it were a drug.
"Oh," he whispered, struggling to not let the sound of ual pleasure rise out of him. He was not having her drink from him for his pleasure, but her safety. Though, his throbbing length said otherwise.
Hoseok was relieved when she finished despite her shoving him away aggressively. In embarrassment, Hoseok hid away his throbbing as quickly as he could, not wanting her to think he was actually in a ual mood at this moment. Once again, he hated that his manly parts had a mind of its own, throbbing in need while he disgusted in his actions, while he wanted to explain to her...How would she even take him seriously if he seemed aroused during her despair?
"Andy...you can't touch that," he rushed to say. In her own blind rage, Andy picked up his dagger, the smell of her burnt flesh once again filling her room. Did she not know that she could not even touch the hilt of the blessed weapons? That ever single part of it could be harmful to her? No...no she certainly knew, only having recognized what he was upon seeing the daggers that seared into her skin...
Hoseok did not flinch when she hurled herself at him, the blade pressed into his throat just like he did to her. But the pain, the pain was certainly much crueler for her, as his weapons were designed to burn a vampire to death from the mere touch of it. Her skin had burnt at the slightest contact, had bubbled into a blister, mixed with the blood that had dripped out of her wound. He deserved more than just this. He deserved to be dead for hurting her like that, for being so cruel. "I am." He certainly was a crazy bastard. He was any disgusting name that she could throw at him...he felt as though he were the devil himself for daring to touch a beautiful creature like she. Hoseok leaned in, pressing his throat into the sharp blade, hoping, wishing that she would just do it. Kill him. He did not deserve to live...and she did not deserve to live in fear of him.
How could he answer such a question? He even asked himself this. How could he say that he loved someone...and without a moment's hesitation, try and kill them in cold blood? He deserved to burn in Hell, be tortured for eternity for his action. He became the very monster he hated in those minutes, a cold-blooded, ruthless murderer. He let his anger for her kind get the best of him...Andy never asked for this, she never asked to be a vampire, whether she was turned or born one. And even if she had been turned because of her own personal desire, she still did not deserve to nearly be killed because of someone else's actions.
"You should just kill me." He did not mean to say it out loud, but he meant it. She should kill him. Make it hurt more than what he had already done to her.
Instead, Andy dropped the blade to the floor. Either because of the pain in her hand or because of a pain in her heart. Hoseok could not tell. Her small fists beat against him, but even those stopped their abuse, and soon he was in her embrace.
Why...why did she still hold him so desperately, why did she cry into his neck like she did? And it was not as if he could pull away...he knew that he could not get out of her vice-like grip, not when he had allowed her...made her drink so much of his blood just seconds ago. He could already feel the fatigue settling into his bones, so he was not to push her from him, keep her from touching a disgusting man like himself.
Instead, his hands shakily lifted to her bare waist, his fingers brushing carefully over her hips. "I...have no excuse, no explanation as for why I did something so unspeakable to you...I-please heal your hand, you hurt yourself..." He must sound even crazier to care for her once more, to tell her to drink from him again. He was at the perfect position for her, no need to pull him into her again to drink from him. Hoseok's hands ran over Andy's hips, sliding over them until his arms loosely wrapped around her. Her teeth sunk into him once more, fulfilling his request. He just wanted her to be safe and well again...
a question...
is it possible to ask for two characters from the beginning?
I'm torn between being a human and a vampire, and the only solution I got is getting two characters XD
