@♙ Im Jinah (SH) Yongguk caught the brightness in her face, and he nearly made a joke about it. However, his slight soberness from the cool air was enough to make him stop. "Well I heard it's dangerous in the woods by yourself. Aren't we like a free-for-all for the vampires," he laughed at the the thought. He certainly was a hypocrite for saying that, since he was also out by himself. But he never did do anything enough to feel like he had a tie to the earth, so why would he care? "I was also clearing my head...but for a different reason obviously." Yongguk stared out at the lake in silence before something popped in his head. "So, when are we going to combine our businesses?"
@♙ Im Jinah (SH) It was strange being outside the palace now. He had been stuck there for nearly three months (mostly just sitting around in his cell of a room, barely getting fresh air). Those in the Village were excited to see him back, at least those that bought his moonshine were happy to see him. Yongguk had a drink or two after he came back, maybe even more.
He couldn't remember as he walked through the woods. All he knew was that he was a bit tipsy, and he could walk. The fresh air was keeping his head clear too. But his drinking made him think he was imagining the person ahead of him....that is until he somehow managed to get close enough to take her elbow. Nope...it was real. "Oh, Jinah...I thought you were a ghost," Yongguk laughed, rather awkwardly. "What are you doing in the woods?"
@☪♛ Beth Sekhmet /snorts at your answer about finding joy in other things/
Yeah, sure you are. Is that why you got lost here?
/rolls my eyes at your constantly sticking up for your fat cat dumpling (already forgot its a lion) annoyed that it won't help you/
A companion can help too you know.
I'm not your servant, but I'm helping right.
/I hold my breath as I start to realize I have zero idea as to where I am, never having actually walk through the forest/
Lost your way somewhere, that's a long way, isn't St. Petersburg a really far walk from here?

You don't look heavy, I can carry you
@♙ Bang Yongguk I'm...

I can feel that we're in a forest and she is my companion not my servant

How could I let you carry me? That would be highly inappropriate.
/pulls my plush lower lip between teeth still very much embarassed/
I was tolld to take a walk outside and I think I lost my way somewhere
@♙ Heo Yoorim “Ah, you don’t? But I am in the village often. Maybe it is because some new faces have been around lately.” The moan that left her lips was music to his ears. He wanted to mark her neck, show the whole village that for the time being he had claimed her as his. “Yoorim, that’s a nice name.” He said as his lips moved closer to hers, brushing along her cheek. As his lips hovered just above hers, he paused his movements pulling his head back a little to look at her. “You’re a ?” He asked bluntly. “I thought everyone around here has ed before.” It was definitely intriguing, tempting to be the first one to into her heat, which would still be so tight from never having had any other in her. “I don’t mind, as long as you don’t---” Yixing said. His lips continued to travel over her until they finally reached her lips to brush against them. He moved to take them between his on them before having his tongue brush over to explore her hot cavern.
@♙ Zhang Yixing She shook her head at the assumption of her having been involved with vampires. in a way, yes, she had been involved but merely more of coming across them when she was rushing back home in the past. that aside, she had grown more skeptical about him being out here and getting firewood at this hour was a little suspicious. "Definitely the purest...", she trailed off, her thoughts going elsewhere regarding her arousal.
soon enough, she was snapped out of her daze and blinked, wondering just why she had to say her niece's name in defense and mentally slapped herself. humming thoughtfully, she nodded at his question. "yeah, we had not really a serious conversation. But i don't really remember seeing you around. unless i was pretty occupied to notice people. H-Heo Yoorim." She was hesitant to reveal her name but to a stranger, it was more of a courtesy to know each other's name. If this escalated to something more aka and it was mind-blowing good, she might seek him out again. the way his lips brushed over her jawline and down to the bare skin on her neck, followed by of it, she can't help but to let out a meek moan. his words seemed to stir something inside of her and god, it was turning her on even more. "oh holy-", her eyes widened at how bold he really was and her breathing got raspy and heavy. "It's pretty intriguing. but is it even more intriguing that i had never had a deep inside me?" she smirked playfully, that fact being extremely true. all she had done was touching herself and released with just her hand.
@♙ Heo Yoorim “Ah, is that so? Sounds as if you have been involved with vampires before. I don’t care too much about them nor do I know a lot about that kind. But yes, those must be the purest as it seems.” Yixing said as he tried to keep the conversation with the young woman going. She was odd being out here by herself but at the same time something about her pulled him in. As he got closer he could smell her arousal ever so lightly even though her words were already proof enough for what she was up to.
“Rosa, who is Rosa? Then again I also have no real idea about who you are, I have seen you before but we never had a serious conversation as far as I remember.” Yixing tried to remember her, made out every detail he could find. “What was your name again?” He asked as he just couldn’t get himself to remember. He leaned even closer until his lips brushed over her jaw down to her neck where he pressed a soft kiss before deciding to on the pale skin there. “Isn’t it quite intriguing to have a stranger you? Why get release with her hand when I can my deep into you---your hand won’t be as good.” He breathed out against her skin as he ran his left hand over her clothed down to her waist.
@♙ Zhang Yixing she nodded hurriedly, her nostrils flaring in a bid to put her monster down at bay but it just proved to be futile. her legs got tangled even more to the point she had to lean against the boulder for support. the more he spoke, the more urged she felt. "Just a little. I mean it is going to be night soon. so yeah. Uh huh. As far as I heard, most of them can actually walk in the daylight. Probably the purest of vampires i think," she said, too looking up by the prompt of the man doing the same too.
Hearing that he was collecting firewood, she wondered just why he did not do that in the morning. Doing so would lessen the attention drawn to humans because some fledglings like to use the sound as an indication of where their food source might be. "The weather wasn't nice earlier? I didn't know that, perhaps so because i was busy taking care of Rosa and sleeping in til late." inhaling sharply, she leaned backwards when the axe was dropped to the side as well as the bag and gasped in response as the male trapped her in between him and the shoulder. "I-I... If it is someone I know.. I would say.. me. But for a stranger I.. I don't know. goddamn, i have been needy for so long and you just happened to come at the wrong timing. just let me- release." she exhaled deeply as if she was holding her breath for so long.
@♙ Heo Yoorim “Just out for a breather?” Yixing asked as he scanned her. Something about her seemed odd, why did she press her thighs together that way? She seemed rather distracted and he wasn’t all to sure if it was right for him to be around. It almost seemed as he had disturbed by---well, whatever she had done or was about to. “Oh really? Well, I guess that might be because the sun is still out. Most of them can’t bear that, right?” He said as he looked up through the trees for a short moment before laying his focus back on her.
“I wanted to gather some wood for my fireplace now that the weather is nice enough again to go out.” He said as he looked down on her. Why did her body seem so shaky as she got up to stand in front of him? This woman confused him as he was rather slow with processing her words and actions. Though he understood what she said next as it reached his mind. “How can you say that in front of a stranger? What if I---” Yixing dropped his bag with the axe to the side stepping forwards to capture the woman between his body and the boulder. “---this?”
@☪♛ Beth Sekhmet You're not? How are you experiencing life then?

@♙ Zhang Yixing As her hand s down to her wet core, the voice behind her spoke up and it startled her so bad that she moved her hand almost immediately and her head spun to the side with her lips smacking together as if to keep it moists. She kept swallowing down all the excess saliva and her eyes widened in surprise at another human. Not expecting anyone to come out to this part, especially at this hour, she was wondering how to reply to his question. "Oh- I was just.. uhm. Just out for a breather. the nature's air can do wonders you know...", she trailed off, her mind starting to wander off and her thighs rubbed together to hold it in, not the pee but the urge to touch herself again.
Not even in front of the male for sure. "I have been out here often at this timing. So far there had never been any vampires around for quite some time. And.. what are you doing out here too, may I ask?", she exhaled deeply, shakily standing up tall and firm just so she was showing she wasn't scared to be out here alone. Still her mind kept delving back to the dark side. "- i wish someone would just me right here..", she muttered under her breath, looking to the left just so the male won't catch what she was saying.
@♙ Bang Yongguk I... don't know. I'm not around men often.

I'm Beth and you are?
@♙ Heo Yoorim The day had been particularly uneventful so far and rather boring for Yixing who enjoyed to keep himself busy. He was rather low on wood for his fireplace so he decided to go on a trip to the woods in order to gather more of it. He had taken his axe and a giant bag to carry it in with him before walking towards his destination. The taiga wasn’t that close to the village but he was quick enough to reach it in what didn’t feel like forever. It was a warm day lucky compared to those chilly ones winter had given them before. He had left his jacket at home and it was also way easier to work this way as he had more space to move. Yixing remembered that there was on old tree somewhere close by which was already broken mostly and therefore easy to work on.
As he found his way to the right spot he suddenly discovered a woman sitting on a boulder in the middle of the woods. “Young lady, what are you doing out here by yourself?” Yixing asked as he stepped closer to the girl. He inspected her once he was close enough . She was beautiful and he remembered having seen her around the village before even though they had never once talked. “It’s dangerous, what if a vampire attacks you?” He asked.
@☪♛ Beth Sekhmet Course there are, just like women, we come in all shapes and sizes

@❈♚ Taehyung Tepes It was already bad enough that she had been feeling needy since the end of her menstrual cycle. It wasn't this one time but many so ever since she had gotten into an young adult stage. Her entire life ever since the chaos started was nothing but focus on her youngest charge aka her niece, Rosa. She was so attentive on the needs of the young girl that she failed to focus on her own. Now that she was a little big enough to be able to fend for herself despite being 4 years old, she placed her in the care of her trustiest neighbor and took a walk down to the Taiga, wanting to take a breather since gods knew when. once she arrived at the space, she let out a heavy groan, her hand clutching at the hems of her shirt as if to stop herself from getting even more needy.
A boulder came into her sight and she weakly walked over to it, plopping down on it and rested her forehead against the rough surface, taking in deep breaths and willing the urge to get ed away. "God please. It's not the right time." she muttered under her breath while a ruffle behind the bushes in the midst of two towering oak trees was made, causing her not to pay any heed due to her attention on the growing urge in her core.

What makes yout think that?
@ꕥ♛ Andy Bathory Hoseok struck it as odd how Andy described how his family lived in Realm G. The living conditions in the realm were atrocious, and anyone in Realm G would agree with that. However, not one person thought that another lived a less fortunate life than them. The realm's population consisted of a similar type of people. Although they were physically diverse, the conditions in which they lived were all very much the same. Hoseok possibly would not have questioned her mentally, if Andy did not sound as though she did not live in the realm as well. How can one pity the other when their situation is just as bad, if not worse?
"Did you not come from elsewhere? Besides, I am not surprised, there are many more people living here than expected, of course, some people starving, and they are the people of Realm G." He asked in a confused manner. Surely Andy had to go through the same process, being refused to go outside the realm, from being able to choose. It was odd, and she was acting odd. Despite it all, he chose to ignore it. not wanting to make Andy feel uncomfortable with his berating her with questions. "I think it only seems nicer because it's much newer than the homes falling apart in the village."
"China? Yet you have that western nickname...but this explains why I didn't know you before." Hoseok gave a brief nod, his teeth in his lower lip in concentration. It all added up now, knowing that Andy was indeed new to this realm. If she had stated that she was there for much longer than a year Hoseok would have certainly tried to ask her what she knew of the village. It also explained her confusion as to why people lived the way that they do in Realm G. She had not grown around this, and she possibly lived in a more luxurious area...though, Hoseok had always been told that St. Petersberg was the last safe place since the wars.
He slid the picture into his pant pocket before he proceeded to set up their sleeping arrangements and join Andy on the couch.
"Yes it was their wedding, I wish I could have experienced it...but unfortunately, I guess, my sister and I were not bastard children." Once upon a time, Hoseok had wished to be that kind of kid, that would mean that not only did he get to attend the wedding, but he would have known a tie before living in the realm. "Oh...thank you," the sudden compliment caught Hoseok off guard, as he was expecting her to talk more of the pictures of the past than to comment on his present looks.
"I hope you're not just replacing cute with handsome and view me as a chubby little boy now." He tried to joke, though he knew that he was nowhere near being any of those things. It was merely to help ease the nervousness he developed from receiving such a compliment.
Soon, night fell, and after having eaten, Hoseok decided that it was best to go to bed. Of course, he had not expected Andy to refuse to sleep on the couch, that she would have a preference to sleep be beside him as she slept. He had already changed out of his dress clothes in his old bedroom, donning similar sleepwear to the one that he wore when they met. When he came out his throat cleared awkwardly as he tried his best not to comment on her laying on the makeshift bed.
"Ah...you're right...it's warmer that way," Hoseok stated out loud, trying to justify just why they were to sleep together once more as he slid into the blankets.
Despite his having lain next to Andy before, Hoseok was nervous. Was she perhaps going to try to touch him while he attempted to rest? The thoughts of that other night made him almost self-conscious, hoping that she would not try anything with him tonight, not only did he not really feel like it, it was just something he felt should be respected in what was basically his family's grave.
And she didn't, the silence in the room was strangely comfortable this time. There was no tension, no anger, they had seemed to come to an understanding that this was what was needed. "Good night Andy," he finally said, turning his body towards her as he said so. Awkwardly, his hand reached out and curled into the sleeve of his sweater. It was comforting to him, to know that someone was there beside him while he slept. That he was not alone.
Just like a child.
Soon, Hoseok fell into a deep slumber. However, despite his being at peace for a remarkable amount of time, he began to have his nightmares once more. He was once again tormented, jerking and thrashing about in his sleep, his heart rate rising as he struggled to fight in his dream. Even there, he was so useless, so helpless.
It was morning when Hoseok finally awoke. The sun streamed into the windows, making it far too bright for him in his groggy state. His near-black hair seemed brown in the light, his fringe sticking to his sweaty forehead.
With his eyes closed, he felt around and sat up. He could have sworn Andy had slept right beside him, yet she was not there. Was it possible that he moved around so much that she had to sleep on the couch? With furrowed brows, Hoseok squinted in that direction, but she was not there. "Did she leave again?" He asked nobody in particular as he stood up. That is when he noticed that the kitchen door was open. His breath caught in his throat as he made his way to the door slowly, being careful to not make any sudden noises or movements.
The smell of bleach and soap wafted from the kitchen, the scent was so excruciatingly clean, it burned. He had gotten so used to the musty smell that came from that room, that the sudden change was much too foreign for him.
The sight of the kitchen made Hoseok hold tight onto the doorframe. Especially when he saw Andy scrubbing as hard as she could on the cabinet. He did not even question where she obtained the products to remove the stains."What are you doing?" The question, his tone, it sounded too harsh, so sudden. But that is not how Hoseok felt, not in the slightest. Instead, his heart near melted at the scene, amazed that this girl, this woman was doing so much more than anyone else in Realm G would have. This woman who had never known him had just moved into the realm...cared enough to do something like this?
, why was he started to get emotional once more? "Thank you," he whispered as he turned his face away from Andy's prying eyes, refusing to let her see him cry for what seemed like the millionth time. He no longer had to dread coming to this home, dread knowing that the evidence of the massacre was just behind that closed door...because there was no longer evidence of it. It was as if he were being reborn as if he did not have to worry about his parents being truly stuck in that moment of their death. Hoseok wanted to kiss her, hug her, do whatever he could to show just how grateful he was. Thus when he got his bearings together, he strode right over to Andy, wrapping his arms tight around her waist as she scrubbed away. His face pressed firmly against her neck taking in her clean smell.
"You really don't know...nobody has ever really tried to help me before," his voice was muffled by her smooth skin, but with how close he was to her ear, he was certain that she heard him. Why did his heart jolt just now, why was it that he wanted to pull her back close up against his chest, to hold her tighter?
Such a simple gesture, it made him finally feel as if he were being seen. Seen for something more than just somebody's resource to keep them alive. And this woman is who made him feel such a way.
The rest of the morning consisted of them continuing to clean the kitchen together, properly disposing of their cleaning items, and preparing for the rest of the day.
"Will I see you again?"
The question was so sudden, even Hoseok was surprised that he had asked it. Even so, he looked Andy dead in the eye as he held the linen of their bed in his arms. He wanted to see her, but for the next time to be something they expected, something that was partially prepared for. He was not certain why he wanted this, having not done such a thing before in the years that his family had passed. What about her intrigued him so much to want such a thing, a woman that made him uncomfortable to be around at first, but now...it was different...and he needed to confirm what this difference meant."Let's meet at the village well again...in about a week?" Hoseok insisted. He really did want to meet again, be prepared...
They parted ways in the afternoon, Andy walking back in the direction of the village, whilst Hoseok made his way into the woods having agreed on a day to meet by that well.
He thought about her enough to make him stare off, forget what he was doing at times. He was severely distracted by her image, her voice and even her actions. It was to the point that he decided, after nearly burning down the forest while cooking, that he should just lay down, let himself relax until he did see her. It was not like there would be any harm in that. So he did just that, relaxing until the day finally approached.
Hoseok dressed warmly, a thick sweater underneath a jacket lined with fur prevented him from freezing as he made his way into the village. It was snowing that day, however, he did not want to let that stop him from seeing her. If he missed out now, he would not be able to spend time with her the way that he wanted.
Andy was not there when he arrived, possibly because they had agreed on noontime, and it was nowhere close to then. Thus, he squatted by the well, playing around with a string that was hanging from his jacket. Thankfully, due to the snow, there was nobody outside to question what he was waiting for. The people of Realm G were quite nosy, which bothered Hoseok. If they could place their noses in other people's business, then they had the time to find their own ways to live.
@♙ Jung Hoseok This was crazy. Her mind still tried to process the similarities in their feature, tried to analyse every part of his face and rethinking about Jiwoo’s face in her mind. it, if Jiwoo was really his long lost sister she had to say something, right? But then she would reveal her true self to him and that was no possibility at all. She just couldn’t risk it because even though they looked similar it could still be a coincidence. She didn’t want to risk losing him over this when she hadn’t even gotten to know him that much yet. “Of course I know what twins are.” She commented as her eyes were still glued to him. She couldn’t risk it, she really couldn’t. With that she broke her stare fixing her gaze somewhere else.
“Even if you came later, they should have offered you a better realm to stay in, or at least take better care of this one.” Andy had completely forgotten about the fact that she was supposed to be from around here too. “Oh, from Korea, that’s nice.” Andy still remembered her time in Korea clearly, it had been around the 1990’s as she travelled to the country enjoying her time in Seoul the most. For some reason the big cities had been nicer back then even if she had always rather been the type to stay around or close to nature as it was more calming to be there. “That’s impressive. It looks way better than those in the village.”
Oh . Now she had to be super careful to not mess up. The question was too direct to not answer it. It was not possible for her to play over, to change it in any way. “I’ve only arrived a year ago. I lived in China before.” It wasn’t a lie. She had been in China during the war and when the news of her family being alive had reached her. While she hadn’t exactly arrived in Realm G, she had arrived in Russia a year ago. Maybe this was enough of an answer for him. She really hoped that he wouldn’t further question her.
Andy smiled as he took her picture, even more so as he sighed softly while looking at it. While she didn’t comment on it, it still caused her smile to be a bit brighter than before. Did he like the way she looked like? Not everyone liked her tattoos. She obviously loved the art that she had added to her body over the years feeling as if her body was her personal canvas. No one could ever steal the freedom from her to do just what she wanted with it.
“Leave you in this emotional state. I know what it feels like to be lonely and I don’t want you to feel that way today. Well, actually I don’t want you to feel that way ever but especially not on a day like this.” She would have held him a little tighter, would have hugged him right there once more but she didn’t as to not overwhelm him with her presence. They had kissed only a while ago obviously but she still wasn’t too sure of how he would feel okay with it and when he didn’t want it.
“Oh, so you’ve really built this from scratch. That’s amazing.” She was glad that he allowed her to take a look at the family album. Nonetheless, her focus was more on him than on the album at first. Andy watched him how built their bed for the night. It was kind of him to put some blankets next to her but she had no intention of sleeping on the couch when she could lay next to him.
Her focus returned to the album as he sat down next to her. His scent returned to being as clear and present around her. “She really does.” Andy said as she looked at the picture of his parents. They seemed to be happy. “It’s their wedding day, right?” She assumed due to his mother’s white dress and his father’s suit. She had always liked the idea behind the way humans married. A bond of trust and love, not like the vampires who could have multiple marriages without being limited to one lover. How was that supposed to be true love?
A smile took over her face as she saw the picture of Hoseok as a chubby little boy. She looked over at him just in the right moment to see how his expression became softer. “No, no, you were a cute, little, chubby boy.” Andy chuckled as she playfully pinched his cheek. “And you turned into quite a handsome young man.” She grinned before moving on to ruffle his hair before looking back at the pictures.
“My family?” She asked. Oh well, her original family from over 400 years ago was dead, her parents just like her siblings. Her new family didn’t quite accept her for reasons she didn’t understand. She hadn’t known about them, so why were they mad at her? “Ah...It’s complicated, I’d say.” Her gaze dropped to her hands her, her hair falling to the sides of her face. The death of her parents and siblings hadn’t been recent of course so if she told Hoseok about, he would most probably ask way too many questions about how they died. Plus, they weren’t even that one most precious being that she had lost.
“Oh, thanks a lot. Is it really okay if I borrow something? Maybe just a jacket for tomorrow, what I’m wearing is enough for now.” Hungry? Of course not but he couldn’t know about that. While Andy had had human food before she hadn’t had some for quite a while as blood was her main source of course.
While he went outside and was clearly busy for a while, she got up to put the family album back into the shelf. The kitchen was close and Andy was tempted to go in there once more. She had to have a look at the mess that had been left by the vampire. Now that Hoseok was gone, the smell of the vampire hit her again. Disgusting. Andy surely had to do something about this mess.
She closed the door once more to settle herself on the sofa. As Hoseok came back the smell of the meat hit her and it was luckily stronger than the vampire smell. “I bet your cooking is fantastic.” Andy didn’t feel like eating human food but she didn’t want to offend him about it which is why she walked toward the table to get a small piece. Surprisingly, it wasn’t too bad but her body still didn’t seem all too happy about it. Maybe she shouldn’t have stopped eating human food that long ago to stay used to it. “It’s delicious but I am not that hungry so you have it.”
In the end, she had taken two more pieces of meat before they had finished. “The makeshift mattress looks really quite comfy.” Plus, why would she sleep on the ground when she could sleep next to him? Andy had pulled one of the blankets over their bodies before snuggling up to his side, her head resting on his chest.
Her sleep didn’t last long as she was suddenly wide awake as Hoseok’s body twitched which had caused her head hitting the blankets harshly. It was still dark outside with only the moon throwing a bit of light into the room. At least her vision was good enough at night to see everything clearly. Now that she had woken up, it was actually a good timing to do what she had planned to before.
Quietly, she got up from the blankets and went towards the kitchen with hushed steps. She closed the door quietly behind her once she was inside. As she couldn’t find anything to clean she decided to teleport back to the palace. First though, she picked up the knife to get it out of the room first. Using her rose petal swarming she soon found herself back in the palace. She threw the knife into the closest bin before tying to figure out where to find stuff for cleaning. In the end, she found the stuff in a room which belonged to the servants of the palace. Once she had some cleanser, a cloth and a bucket, which she had filled with water, she teleported herself back into the kitchen. After she had placed the stuff on the ground she opened the door to the living room once more to check if Hoseok still slept. Luckily, he did.
It felt like an eternity as it took forever to get the blood off of the floor and the walls as it had definitely been here for too long. Sunrays were already shining through the window indicating that it was the next morning. It had taken her at least three hours to get this far. The last splatters left were on a cupboard, which she currently tried to remove. The kitchen now smelled fresh and clean and looked just the same. Andy was glad that she had actually managed to do this. The only question that remained was how Hoseok would react to this.

@ꕥ♛ Andy Bathory Andy bluntly stated that she liked him. If he had not already felt as though he was to burn from embarrassment, he would have right now. However, his face was already red from their kissing one another, his body hot from the thought of it. It was not a ual act, the kisses were much more innocent, especially with their having pulled away to discuss things that were quite nonual. So his possibly enjoying hearing that she liked him could have gone unnoticed. At least he hoped it would, as it was not like she loved him. That would be quite odd for her to feel that way specifically...but wasn't kissing something one did with the one they loved?
Then again, judging how Andy found herself on him before. "Ah...okay." He said in response, after a passing moment. Andy seemed to be the type to do what she would like with a man if she touched Hoseok in ways he never would have imagined with a woman he was not planning to marry. Is that possibly why she kissed him and found the action perfectly normal?
Relief washed over him when Andy stated that she too would not be able to handle going into that room. Hoseok for years had thought that he was being childish, that he was overreacting. The room was not going to destroy him by his trying to rid the evidence of the vampire attack. Yet, he could not bear to be in there, the memories of his parents being torn into haunting him, even without his taking a look at the room. It was a terrible feeling, but it was more bearable, much better Andy seemed to understand. Or at least she tried to understand him.
How was it that this beautiful stranger understood him the most out of all the people from the village?
An eyebrow raised at Andy's exclamation. He looked at her, wondering why she sounded so shocked by such a thing. "Yes...do you not know what twins are or something?" Why else would she exclaim it? But it made him feel odd with how she stared at him, as if she somehow knew what he was talking about. But she couldn't have, everyone in the village knew of the massacre on his home, many people knew of him and Jiwoo. And Andy certainly was not living in this village six years ago. Otherwise, Hoseok would have known her.
He laid back on the bed in his old room, taking in a deep breath. He felt out of place, remarkably enough, lying there staring up at the plain ceiling. It was odd, he had always believed that he would end up out of the house by the age of thirty. As a child, he wanted to live in this house forever, to be with his parents for as long as he could. "Why Realm G? I am not sure...I think those in Realm G came long after the wars ended, and we just got the worst of the choices...." He sat up again to look at Andy as he spoke. "I was really young when we came here from Korea, so I don't remember why we got placed here...and the house only looks like this because we built it." He shrugged his shoulders. It was strange having to explain to another person of Realm G why they were here.
Nobody ever really questioned it, assuming that those in Realm A were more often used as an eating source than Realm G. They were just thankful they were alive, even though living here . "What about you? You didn't live here before...."
"I-um...don't need...okay." Why did he just have a habit of trying to refuse her, then agree anyways? 'God damn it Hoseok, stop sounding like a stuttering idiot,' he thought to himself. He looked down at the polaroid picture and sighed softly, hoping that she did not hear him. She looked amazing in this picture, she was so beautiful in person and on camera. How did a woman like her get here? Knowing from the magazines he's seen thrown by the dump, Realm A had models. She could have easily been one, that is if she wanted to.
He stood when she led him out of the room, his hand giving her a slight squeeze. He wanted to intertwine his fingers in hers, but the thought of such an intimate thing made him blush once more. Just when he thought he was calmed down from such embarrassing thoughts, he just ends up conjuring new ones. He was to certainly be caught by her for thinking such thoughts. "Leave me like what?"
Oh goodness, was she going to spend the night with him again? Did she even have proper clothes to wear? And they would have to sleep together in the living room, what if she became uncomfortable? Suddenly, Hoseok was nervous, more so because he did not want to keep her up with his violent thrashing, that he knew he did, in his sleep.
Nonetheless, he began to prepare the living room, pushing the couch back and the table in front of it to the side. "Huh? Oh...no, I think I was five or six years old when we moved into this house? We lived in the village before." Thankfully, despite his embarrassing thoughts from earlier, he was able to control his awkward stuttering.
He merely nodded when he saw Andy pull out his family's old album, he did not mind in the slightest. The pictures of him in there were mostly of him as a baby, up until he was maybe two years old? Then after that, they had started making their way slowly to Russia, hearing that it was the safest place to be.
As he let Andy browse through the album, he set up blankets on the floor and even placed some on the couch next to her. Andy could decide where she slept, though he would prefer for her to sleep on the couch because it was much softer. Once that was all prepared, the floor layered nicely with blankets for a makeshift mattress, Hoseok sat himself down next to Andy, looking over the album as well.
"Oh this picture is my favorite," he pointed at an elegant photo of his parents. His mother was in a gorgeous white dress made of lace and his father was dressed in a black suit. "My mother looks so beautiful here...it's strange...seeing them look so luxurious." He knew before the wars, his family was quite well off. His father was in hard labor for construction, however, that brought in good money. It helped that his mother was a teacher, which is why he knew how to read and write properly. So it should not have been a surprise to him that they would have an extravagant wedding, even for when they had lived in Korea.
"And this is me," he pointed out so another picture, one of a stubby and chubby little boy on overalls. He stood on a set of stairs, ones that made it clear that he was still in Korea at the time and not in the ruins of Realm G. "My sister used to tell me they didn't have a lot of pictures of me because I was too ugly," he grinned at Andy, his eyes lightening at the memory. He used to actually believe her, not realizing that they just did not own a camera when they came to the realm.
"What is your family like Andy?" Then a thought popped in his head. "Oh...right, did you need something to wear? I don't know if her things would fit you, but you can try Jiwoo's clothes. They're clean..." He had a habit of randomly taking the clothes in the house to the river to be washed. Though it made their scents fade away over time, he rathered that than have moths and other things eat away at their memory.
"I think I am going to make some food, are you hungry?" Hoseok decided that it would be best to cook now rather than later as if he did get hungry, it would be dangerous to cook in the dead of the night. Especially since he was not planning on using the kitchen, and if he used the fire from the fireplace, the living room would smell like food while they tried to sleep. Which, was not a pleasant smell.
Thus, he made his way outside, whether or not Andy was hungry. She would be eventually, and he was now. So he may as well make enough for both of them.
When Hoseok stepped out, he immediately made work to make a fire. Of course, it took a few minutes to get a good amount of friction on the cold wood to ignite, but the flames soon grew for Hoseok. As he waited for the flames to eat away at more of the wood, he went to his makeshift cooling container, pulling out packaged raw meat from the ground.
It took about ten minutes after he set up the fire for his food to be ready, and when it was, Hoseok came back inside, kicking off his shoes once more before placing the cooked meat on the table. "If you're hungry there is some food here...I'm not the best cook, so I do apologize in advance," he said as he tore a piece of meat and placed it into his mouth.

@♙ Jung Hoseok ‘I can though... I can blame myself for what I lost.’ She thought but did not dare voicing her thoughts at Hoseok’s comment. It was nothing she could share that easily, he wouldn’t understand, would most probably call her a monster. She was one surely, not because of being a vampire but because of what she had been forced to do. If she hadn’t been that weak back then she would have never gone as far as going though with it. It were these moments of regret which tore her apart from the inside. If only she could have told him, if only he would have understood...
“Those things? Kissing you?” She asked for reassurement as she wasn’t so sure if that had been what he meant. Why would she not be comfortable with it? They had had before so she was obviously craving him and his body in any kind of way. “I like you.” Andy said bluntly. It wasn’t a love confession in any way, not even close to it. But she liked Hoseok, obviously. Something that he should have caught up on by now. Andy decided to not add more to that matter as it would have only given him the wrong idea about it. And maybe she had actually intended to leave him with questions.
His exclamation was too late as she had already seen the mess in that room, the disgusting sight of blood everywhere. This hadn’t been a normal vampire. No sane person would ever leave a massacre like this, would actually go as far as killing as all they wanted was to drink the blood and leave again. Why would you kill who kept you alive? It pained her that this had happened Hoseok, the human she had actually found a liking in. The pure boy didn’t deserve such a past. But then again, when had life ever been fair to anyone?
Andy had never gone to just any human to force them to give her blood. Forcing seemed wrong, humans had just a right to live in peace as vampires did. She hated how most humans got the wrong image because yes, some other vampires had truly messed up. Andy had only ever drunk the blood from human lovers who had allowed her to, who knew about what she was. Other than that she had lately survived with the blood that they served in the palace. Nonetheless, she didn’t like that in particular. Even with blood she had her own specific taste and was picky about it.
She flinched at the sudden slam of the door as it echoed through the whole house and maybe even out into the woods. “Why are you apologizing? What for? I also wouldn’t have been able to enter that room after all that, no one would have, believe me.” His next words hit her deeply. God, he actually believed that every vampire was a monster. Surely, it was normal for him to think that way but it made it even harder for her. How was she ever supposed to change his mind? How was she ever supposed to be accepted by him? “Probably not all of them are like that...” She mumbled but regretted it right after. This would not in any way change how he felt about it. After this trauma, there was no chance for him to get over it. It radiated from his dark eyes.
His hand was warm in hers once more as he led her to another room, away from the messed up kitchen. As he let go of it in the next room once more, she almost wanted to complain about it. “It looks nice.” She said as she leaned against the doorframe. Maybe Hoseok didn’t want her to enter, didn’t want her to change anything about the past by accident. For Realm G this room seemed really nice. Andy still didn’t understand why the vampires had the humans live in such bad living conditions here when they were taking the blood from them. Shouldn’t it be pure and from a clean place, more like Realm A? Nonetheless, this house still seemed like one more fitting into the other Realm.
“That’s really cool, a great gift.” She said with a smile to her lips. Suddenly, Hoseok seemed to be excited. A new side to the ones that she had seen before. Funny to think that Andy had experienced all these human inventions as she still knew about a world without any technologies. “Oh, I hope I look pretty enough.” She chuckled after he had taken the picture.
His laugh seemed desperate. Andy decided to inch closer, resting her hand on his shoulder to stay close to him. Watching the picture just like he did. “Jiwoo, that’s a beautiful name.” Andy commented. Somehow it sounded familiar. Wasn’t that the name of that one girl in Bathory? The only one who had really made Andy feel welcome from the beginning even though they hadn’t had as much contact ever since. Andy was the outsider due to her late arrival in the palace and maybe also because she was much older than everyone else and before her arrival at the palace no one had known about her existence. They all thought she had died long ago when her mother had.
“Twins?” She exclaimed more abruptly than she had wanted to. His attempt to lighten up the conversation had not worked as Andy was suddenly hit by something. She stared up at Hoseok’s face taking in all his features as if she just saw him for the first time ever. . Could it be that---? Her heartbeat increased as her mind processed the two faces. Jiwoo looked a lot like him, her skin way paler obviously but their facial features seemed just the same.
“Thank you.” She said as she looked at the polaroid. She kept it in her hand while following him to the next room. Somehow, it made her feel special that he showed her everything and shared his memories from the past. He seemed to trust her more than before and she was really happy about that change in events.
The room seemed rather empty and poor compared to the living room and his sister’s as there had been more furniture. She wondered what Hoseok had been like as a child with this loving family. The world must have still been okay for him back then while it was shattered now, just like hers. Even though Andy had a bigger gap, the loss of her baby had happened years ago, decades even as she had still been just as young as Hoseok was now compared to her age. “Why did you and your family end up in Realm G and not A? It seems like this house would rather fit there.” Andy still hadn’t figured out why certain humans ended up in certain Realms. She hadn’t asked anyone yet because she just didn’t care and still remembered humans being free just like her. Hoseok just didn’t seem as if he should belong here just like his family. But in the end the question remained if anyone deserved this at all.
“Yes, of course, I understand that.” She said at him not wanting to show his parent’s room. “Thank you for showing me around, your house is really cozy and nice.” Andy commented. Her gaze fell down onto the picture in her hand. She took Hoseok’s hand and handed him the picture while smiling at him. “Keep it, so that you never forget about me.”
“Do you really expect me to leave you alone like this?” Her voice was almost scolding. Of course it was selfish in a way as she just really wanted to stay with him and spend more time with him again. On the other hand, it really did seem like Hoseok shouldn’t be left alone tonight. She didn’t want him to have another breakdown, he shouldn’t deal with that alone.
Without any other comment Andy took his hand to lead him out of his room again. It didn’t seem like the nicest place to be when the living room was much more comfortable. Plus, the fireplace was there. Back in the living room she let go of his hand. For a moment she just stood in front of the fireplace holding her hands close to it to take in the warmth. She liked this quite a lot, it bothered her that she didn’t have a fireplace in her own room in the palace. The other vampires could have invested in it so that everyone had one but it seemed as if most vampires didn’t love the warmth like she did.
Nonetheless, Andy turned away from the fireplace to scan the room. Her mind still imagined scenes of a family life in this house. “Have you always lived here?” She asked. Andy could not imagine only ever being at one place after she had seen most parts of the world and how it had changed over the decades, how the people in it had changed too. She discovered a shelf in the corner of the room, which she had not given any attention to before. With light steps she walked towards it to take a look at the various books. Andy had always loved reading as she had experienced how literature had developed over the years. It was just the same with paintings and music.
One piece in the shelf caught her eyes. It seemed more like an album than a book and her assumption was proven as she pulled it out of the shelf. Andy sat down on the sofa again with the album right in front of her as she was curious what pictures would be inside of it. “Can I take a look?” She asked. While she had already taken it without permission she at least wanted to ask if it was okay for her to see. Maybe this was too much for him, maybe he didn’t want to share whatever was inside. Or maybe, his mood would improve when thinking back to better moments in the past.

There were no truer words, yet, no matter how often Hoseok had told himself that, he would only fall deeper into abys of feeling that he could have prevented it. He ws not sure what he could have done to prevent a vampire from destroying his home, not at that time at least. Vampires were hard to hurt, let alone destroy, yet Hoseok beat himself up about it nearly every day. 'If only I had been the son they deserved,' he would tell himself this. As if he could suddenly prevent the massacre from happening when he was just a weak human.
The remark coming from someone else, someone other than himself...it was comforting. Never had he been had someone state he was not the reason for their deaths, nor did he have someone tell him so clearly that he should not have been the sacrificed one. Hoseok's mind clung desperately to these words, wanting himself to believe them. It weighed differently when it was another's voice that told him such things. It was even better, Andy's voice was so sweet-sounding, so much more different than his, a voice that, to his ears, sounding depressed and too serious at times. It was easier to think of the words in his voice compared to his own, as his voice would take out "not", torturing his mind even more.
Andy's voice sounded so sad, at least compared to how she sounded the other times he had spoken to her. There was something in it, a tinge of regret as if she felt the same as he did about whomever she had lost. Was it possible that they were the same? They had similar views of themselves, thought so poorly of themselves. Was this why he was so drawn to her because deep down he felt that she was feeling the same pain as he? Was that why she seemed to be drawn to him? But it was impossible with neither of them mentioning the past. They only learned about these painful sides of each other today...so why...
Why did Hoseok feel that he needed to hug her tighter, to feel her skin against his? She was still cold despite how close they were, despite the way they held each other. "Whatever happened...who you lost, you can't blame yourself either..." Hoseok said softly, his voice was strong, steady as he continued to try and get his bearings. Of course, his goddam eyes were playing games with him.
He was assuming that Andy lost someone in the same way that he lost his family. Those filthy bloodsuckers, they had to pay for hurting them like this. They were helpless and weak compared to those demons. Why must they kill humans, when Hoseok knew that they could feed without doing such things? That is what had gotten his family by back then, know...no...thinking that even if a vampire were to come to their home, as long as they gave their blood, they would be fine. That happened to other families in the village, why was it that his family was the one that got ed over?
After the kiss, Hoseok held his breath, fearing what Andy would say, fearing that she would possibly run off from him for making her uncomfortable. But she surprised him. "O-oh...okay then...I won't....?"
His ears turned a tinge of pink at the thought of her just accepting him kissing her whenever he wanted. Why he thought he needed permission was honestly beyond him, seeing as to how Andy didn't exactly ask for permission before getting them into the ual tension from the night before. So, of course, it would make sense that he would do something simple without permission.
Hoseok also did not expect Andy to resume their kiss. It felt even sweeter than the one he offered her, her hands caressing his face, her lips so gentle against his. Then it was over just as quickly as it had started, their lips just centimeters apart, their breaths mingling together as they sat in the comfortable silence. God...he wanted to kiss her again, especially when she stated it was fine. And he would have to if she did not suddenly stand up after pecking his cheek. "What made you so comfortable doing those things?" He asked as he stood, a way of agreeing that he showed her around.
He would just have to avoid that r-. "WAIT," he exclaimed, "You can't!" His eyes widened as he rushed forward to try and prevent Andy from opening the door to the kitchen, the room his family was murdered in.
It was too late, she had opened it, saw the dried blood from the massacre everywhere. The knife he had used to hurt the vampire that night was still on the floor, crusted in the brown blood and rust from the years it had sat. It was actually quite surprising that the house did not smell of decay, but after years of the blood sitting there, the smell eventually faded.
Hoseok grabbed the handle of the door and slammed it shut, his chest heaving as he started to hyperventilate from the sight. "I...apologize...I just can't bring myself to go in there." He stated, refusing to look at Andy. "This-I..That's why I didn't want you to leave that day...I've seen what they do to innocent people."
Finally, his eyes shifted to look at her. The stare was hard, dark, as he tried to keep his composure, tried to prevent himself from dropping down once more and crying out. Instead, he took her hand and walked her to his sister's old room, to show her something that he had once found exciting as a way to distract himself.
"This was my sister's room. Now where is it," he mumbled to himself as he released Andy's hand once more. Finally, Hoseok found the old polaroid camera that he had found in the rubble of the ruins. "I gave this to my sister when she turned seventeen. It takes pictures, cool isn't it?" Hoseok held the camera up to his eye, taking a picture of Andy quickly, then taking the piece of film that dispensed from it. He was rather surprised that it still worked, with it being who the hell knows how old.
Hoseok soon found himself opening up to Andy, telling her about the violence that had come to his home. "It was Jiwoo's birthday when they died actually," he laughed at the absurdity of it all. "I like to think Jiwoo's death was quick like my parent's. But I still have yet to find her body," he mumbled as he watched the picture develop, the image becoming more clear as he waited.
"Can you believe it, people used to ask if the old hag and I were twins." Hoseok tried to press a joke, hoping to lighten the conversation. When Jiwoo was around, he would always call her such rude names, not like she did not do the same to him. It was as if it were their way of saying 'i love you' at the time. His favorite nickname was 'old hag' due to their five year age gap...though she was often mistaken for his age, or even younger than Hoseok.
He handed the polaroid picture to Andy, the image now clear before he moved on to a different room. The floorboards creaked beneath their feet as they walked, approaching another fairly boring bedroom. Of course, they never had anything too extreme in the house, being in Realm G, there was not much they could do or have there. "This is my old room, they kind of just put a wall between mine and my parents once my sister got too old to share with me."
Hoseok was ten when they finally got separated, his parents thinking that it might seem a tad odd for his fifteen-year-old sister would have no privacy when she was going through womanly changes. Due to his being pulled away so late, Hoseok had a hard time sleeping in a room by himself, and would even opt to sleep on his sister's floor just so he wouldn't be alone. Hoseok remembered that there was once a time he could not stand being alone.
Now, he could barely stand being around others. "My parent's room is next to this one, and the bathroom is just in front of my sister's room. I hope you don't mind my not showing you those two places...just feels odd to show them off?" Hoseok sat down on the worn bed from his childhood, his eyes searching the room.
Typically, he would only really stay in the living room, unless he needed something. For example, Hoseok needed to borrow his father's coat, thus he had entered his parent's bedroom for it. "It's getting late, isn't it? Shouldn't you be trying to get home before dark?" Hoseok was on edge again, wondering what Andy is going to do...maybe he will figure out where she lived today as he definitely was not letting her walk home by herself, especially if that vampire that attacked her was still around. Which they most likely were.
@♙ Jung Hoseok His voice sounded almost scolding. A faint smile played along her lips because he actually seemed to care. Maybe it was just him being super friendly and caring to everyone but whatever it was she still felt happy about it. “It might have been, it’s not even snowing.” She commented. Andy hated the cold season. It usually depressed her when everything was even colder than her own body was.
She shook her head at his statement. Was that a general thing that men thought? She had heard it often enough that crying in front of others is embarrassing. But shouldn’t you be able to deal with your emotions that way? “I don’t think so. Plus, it’s good to let it out and talk about it.” Maybe she was hypocrite for saying that as she had locked herself up or run away often enough when she had been broken about her own pain. But it was more so that her pain came from a taboo that she was not allowed to talk about. If anyone knew she was ed.
The burden seemed hard on his shoulders and for a moment Andy didn’t even know how she could help him with this. She felt his pain and still her own had been different. “It’s not your fault, so no, it shouldn’t have been you.” In her case, it had been her fault because she had not once thought about the consequences. She hadn’t even known about that one vampire guy having mixed the potion into her drink. He had done it out of jealousy but that night she of course had slept with her human lover---the potion resulting in her biggest loss.
The hug was so intimate that it was almost as if it carried her into another universe, one where the pain they both felt was non-existent, one were everything was okay. For some reason an image appeared in front of her eyes. A happy family living in this house, Hoseok taking Andy here one day to introduce her to his parents. A dinner with chattering and laughing. It was as if the love from ages ago was stored inside the stone walls and they now displayed a fantasy that would never turn into reality.
“Yes---” Her voice broke as he spoke out loud what she had always tried to keep inside of her, buried somewhere deep down in her heart. “---I have.” A loss so drastic that she would never be able to forget, never be able to get over it. She even caught herself often feeling guilty in happy moments because there was no reason to be happy after this. She deserved the eternal suffering even though it did and would not change anything at all. Her baby would never return. A sob almost pressed past her lips but she tried to gulp it back inside. This wasn’t about her.
The coat around her body and the tight hug that followed comforted her. The warmth that engulfed her was one that she never wanted to let go off again. His scent was intoxicating, his skin so soft. Andy was still surprised by his sudden need for touching and comfort. She had not expected him to actually hold her this tight in such a moment. Maybe their night had actually meant something for him too, maybe he just really hadn’t had any idea how to act after having had for the first time.
Her heartbeat increased as his next words almost proved her thoughts. Had he now realized, actually understood how he had ed up and hurt her? What if it really hadn’t been his intention to and he just hadn’t known how to show affection? “You should have...” She mumbled. Andy didn’t want to scold him for it rather she seemed to pull him even a bit closer as if their bodies became one just by hugging like this. It still seemed all easier as she was able to hug him.
Oh no, had she gone too far with her words? It was almost a shock running through her body as he leaned away from their hug. Did he regret holding her? Did he regret allowing her to enter his childhood home? Her thoughts crashed against his lips. Andy almost gasped into the kiss as she had not at all expected this turn of events. Waves of heat rushed through her body as she was in a state of shock first. She didn’t move against his lips yet as his tongue found its way into .
The heat rose to her cheeks as she moved her lips against his, her tongue brushing against his. It was hot and moist as their breaths mingled between soft of lips. She noticed his tears as they fell onto her own skin. It crushed her heart the tiniest bit to know that this was not about her but about his need for affection, his need to know that someone was here with him and that he was not alone. And somehow in that moment she didn’t mind that their kiss had a different meaning than she wanted it to have.
The sudden break of their lips bothered her nonetheless as it had been too abruptly for her taste. Though, how could he actually be this innocent and shy? It brought a smile to her lips as she leaned against him once more, having her hand ruffle through his hair tenderly. “I liked it. You don’t ever need to ask for my permission.”
She copied his actions. Leaning back from the hug she cupped his face into her hands so that he had to look at her. Her lips brushed against his tenderly. Her thumb caressed his cheek ever so gently as her lips on his, her tongue daring to across them. She took in his taste as his hot breath hit her. She lost herself as they melted together as one the sensation igniting a tingling feeling all over her skin once more. Andy broke the kiss. Her forehead rested against his as her eyes were still closed. His breath against her skin made her feel steamy. One of the reasons for her to move away a bit. She couldn’t throw herself against him again, rather had to give him the affection that he seemed to need right now.
“See, it is perfectly fine to kiss and to be kissed.” She whispered. Andy pressed a soft kiss against his cheek before than getting up from the sofa. “So, show me around. I want to know what your other home looks like.” There was a door off from the living room which had caught her attention. Without actually waiting for him to show her around, she already went there by herself. The smell of blood intensified as she got closer which had already hit her while sitting on the sofa just that she hadn’t actually given a thought about it. It mingled with the smell of one of her kind.
“Oh god---” She had pushed the door open only to be presented to a horrifying image---a pool of blood on the floor and splatters all over the walls and cupboards turned the kitchen into a disgusting mess. While yes, she was a vampire who survived through human blood, she did not enjoy the image of it being everywhere. Had this been where his family died? It must have been. Her body shivered as she figured out the connection between the blood and the smell of another vampire. This was bad, really bad. What if he ever found out that she was a vampire too? Oh god. He had a reason for hating her kind, he would never accept her, maybe even kill her if he could. This was more than bad.
“I’m sorry---maybe you should show me the other rooms instead.”
@ꕥ♛ Andy Bathory Her fingers were freezing in his hand, which only made Hoseok want to hold them a bit tighter. He almost questioned why her fingers were feeling such away, but he stopped himself. Andy was merely wearing a light sweater and jeans, of course, she would feel freezing to him. His brown eyes searched her small face, looking for a change in her body language when she answered his question. She had hesitated, even if it were the slightest pause, she had to think about it. He did not quite believe the woman's explanation, but he let it be. It should not have been his business to ask in the first place, why should it matter to him that she is stalking around in the freezing cold?
Maybe it was because the day before, she made it clear that, for whatever reason, she wanted him to care. Or perhaps, it was because he had a sense of responsibility for her ever since he had found her laying on the forest floor...or God he had so many excuses for just why he was asking about her. Perhaps Hoseok's emotional vulnerability at the moment caused him to feel even more sensitive to her. Whatever he told himself, he was a liar. Hoseok knew that there were two reasons that he had become so concerned with her well-being, with how she presented herself.
"Even a jacket would have not been enough Andy," he commented. Despite his shakiness, his tone was a serious one.
Once they had settled in the warmth of the living room of his childhood home, Hoseok relaxed about her lack of proper clothing. Well, only slightly. It bothered him, that she would walk around like that, how could she? If it had been him, his finger-tips would have been so red from the cold that they would nearly be purple.
"Oh." He heard her remark, though she had said it softly, she was still close enough for him to have heard her. Maybe he should not have let go if she was open to such affection
Did she get some odd pleasure with freezing her off? Hoseok nearly asked the question out loud but thought better of it. Once again, he took in the sight of his childhood home, the tears welling in his eyes once more. , why did he have to start up again? His mother used to harass him all the time about 'you never bring a girl home'. Yet the one time he kind of has, her memory just makes him break.
'Curse you mom,' he thought to himself, nearly laughing, as that was just how he spoke to his mother with her death. "Ah...it's...embarrassing to cry in front of others," he murmured in response to Andy. He watched as she inched toward the flames, a gentle smile tugging at his lips, though not enough for her to have noticed. It was no surprise to him that she moved towards the warmth. He too moved close, forgetting about the coat that still dawned his shoulders.
The slight smile wiped from his face when Andy's gaze met his when her careful fingers wiped away the tears that remained on his cheeks. The gesture made his heart flutter, his cheeks turn red.
Then she spoke the truth, spoke of just why he has been haunted every night, his dreams ravished by nightmares.
"It should have been me," he choked out, his brown eyes shifting away from hers. If he continued to look upon her pitying face, he would have broken down even more. Why did he feel so comfortable with telling her such a thought? An idea that burrowed deep into his brain in the six years that they had been dead. He had thought it so often, that his family should have lived while he died...but not once had he told anybody. Was it possibly because she was a stranger to him, that for some reason he believed that she would not just him for these thoughts?
Is that also why, when she spoke to him in a comforting, yet pained voice, led him to the couch and held him...he let her? What if, she were just using his vulnerability for something else? For something similar for what they had done the first night...what if...? No. Hoseok knew this was not just some sort of ual trick, even when Andy pressed her cool face into the crook of his neck. He knew that all she was doing was innocent and that she wanted to just be there..."You've lost someone too, haven't you?"
Although his voice raised as if in question, it was a statement. Why else would she know that losing someone you love the most would hurt the most? Why did she have such a look on her face, the same look that he saw when he looked in his reflection? The pain was apparent in her features, in the way she had clutched herself as if trying to hold herself together.
Hoseok pulled from Andy, only briefly. The coat he wore slid off his arms and soon became wrapped around her small body. His arms embraced her, her face pressing against her cool skin. Hoseok held Andy tight, so tight that if she were human, she may have protested. "Thank you...why....I," he struggled to get the words together, to say what he needed to. What was it that he was trying to say?
"I'm sorry...for not holding you like this the other day." He was so composed with this statement. Even if he did not get it, he had an inkling as to just why she was upset now. If he thought long and hard about it, he would have been disappointed if she just walked off while he was in this vulnerable space. Was that how she was when it came to such an encounter?
Though, he did not understand her jealousy, her attachment to a man she barely knew. Yet, he craved it. The attention, once he received it, he was starting to become obsessed with it. With the comforting was she spoke to him, and how she held him. How...
Before Hoseok could even think about it, he leaned away from Andy once more. Though, this time he did so to catch her lips with his. He could not figure out why he decided to kiss her, why he continued to move it along, biting into her lower lip to let his tongue in and search . He did not typically have needs such as these. Should he stop?
But how could he? There was no way he could put the kiss to the halt, not when it made him feel so at home, so warm. And it was not like Andy pulled away, rather she responding to his kiss, it may have taken a moment but he felt her lips move against his (though in a much more expert manner).
Once more, his tears fell, causing their kiss to be much wetter than expected. His head fell back, his face pressing into the couch as he tried to get over his embarrassment of both his sudden act and his tears flowing once more. "I'm sorry I shouldn't have done that without permission."
a question...
is it possible to ask for two characters from the beginning?
I'm torn between being a human and a vampire, and the only solution I got is getting two characters XD
