The vampire mythology is a story that spans all the way back to the ancient Egyptions; blood creatures who feared the sun and possessed supernatural beauty. These creatures spent centuries hiding in the shadows, away from prying human eyes. Those unlucky enough to encounter this creature of the night were silenced or branded as crazy.
The vampires were patient, they were smart, they had the gift of ETERNITY on their side.
They would have their chance. They only had to wait.
25 YEARS AGO was when they struck. The humans had all but destroyed themselves in their petty wars when the real threat had been living under their feet the entire time. The vampires rose up from the shadows and enslaved the remaining mortal population, stripping them of their rights and treating them like the fodder that they are. Overnight it seemed as if the world had been taken over.
Blood Farms were built quickly all over the lands, the perfect way to keep the humans penned and caged like animals until they were needed to feed their new masters.

An event shrouded in mystery is one that strikes fear in the humans hearts. Those who pass the testing are whisked away to the vampire realm, likely to never be seen again.
Even with their ignorance to the going ons behind the Imperial Palace walls, rumours circle that these (un)lucky few are taken to be personal pets to the Vampire Royalty. After all, they only see the best of the best and very few humans meet that expectation.
So what really happens after the testing?
Those blessed with great genes are selected to become a courtier of the vampire who chooses them. They recieve a better quality life to ensure they never attempt escape(not that any attempt would be successful) and, if they're lucky, the oppurtunity to gain a blood oath with a vampire; the highest honour there is. Despite this, very few humans look forward to being a part of the vampire society.
There are whispers among the Blood Farms that there is a group working to take their supernatural overlords down.
Nobody can be certain that the slayers exist or not but many choose to believe for that tiny sliver of hope for a better future.

Referred to as The Scarlet Lady or Avenger of Wrongs, Sekhmet was a much more ferocious counterpart to her Godly parent. Her predisposition to blood and war was the result of the Egyptian people desiring a more bloodthirsty Goddess to worship; Sekhmet was given the purpose to protect the pharaohs and lead them into battle but she was also a protector of women(especially during childbirth and menstruation). Many Egyptians believed the scorching wind in the desert was the breath of Sekhmet; the death and destruction of enemies were soothing to her heart.
Her lioness form was selected because, despite the widely held belief, it is the lioness who hunts her prey. The female tends to be the most aggressive gender in many species and the mighty cat of the sahara is no exception.

Lamia, a beautiful Libyan princess who met her demise through Godly intervention.
She fell in love with the Olympian God Zeus, bearing him many children until Hera, Zeus' sister and wife, flew into a jealous rage. She murdered all of Lamia's children and chased the princess into hiding into a remote cavern in the desert and upon finding her, transformed her into a predatory monster. Now a half snake and half human creature, Lamia preyed upon children to fill the hole that the loss of her own left behind.
Lamia gained a reputation of being a bloodthirsty monster, the people of Greece forgetting her tragic origins of being a victim of a Godesses temper. They never thought of the lonely princess who was forced to watch her children be murdered in front of her. Never do the bedtime stories tell of the woman cursed for simply falling in love.
But one day, another Goddess with a much kinder heart, took pity on the young princess; she gifted the girl with eternal youth, beauty beyond compare and abilities that the humans could only dream off.
Such as the ability to ressurect her dead children.
Lamia altered her appearance to that of a beautiful young woman, able to lure men and women into her greedy clutches as she ripped through their necks. For that was the price she had to pay for her gift; to drink blood for eternity.

Vlad III Dracula, known as Vlad Tepes to his family and The Impaler to his enemies.
Vlad was born in 1428 to Vlad Dracul, the prince of Wallachia. As a child, he and his brother spent many years as hostages of the Turks, suffering from humiliation, oppression and terror. He rose to power in the year 1448 with the approval of the Ottomans but was quickly overthrown. He fled to the safety of the Hungarians and married a noblewoman by the name of Bathory Erzsebet.
He lived peacefully with his wife until he was called back to Wallachia, and in 1456 he took back the throne and ruled until 1462. During his reign, Vlad Tepes ran a campaign that sought to end the Turks, had the fabled Castle Dracula built and massacred thousands of his subjects in a variety of methods; his favourite being to impale his victims on massive pikes. Despite his brutal method, it was well deserved as those he punished were law-breakers.
He returned to Wallachia to find his home country war-torn, impoverished and overrun with crime and hunger yet with his leadership, it soon returned its prosperous glory.
Once more did Vlad leave his home to meet with his beloved wife only to find that she was held hostage by a cult of slayers. He was imprisoned for over a decade by a king who feared his power. By the time he was released and returned to his former position of power, Vlad had accumulated far too many enemies and was murdered in front of his wife and children.
The legend of Vlad grew as rumours spread of his death; that the grave was missing his headless body. People began to fear that he had not died and had instead gone into hiding, waiting for the day to take back his kingdom. In his absence, propoganda and opinionated pieces erased his accomplishments as a leader and he became known for the grisly murders he committed in his life.
Out of all the lies spread, they were right about one thing.

How he was ressurected is widely under debate but the most commonly accepted theory is that his beloved daughter retrieved his body and prayed for a second chance. It was the very same goddess who took pity on Lamia who heard and granted her wish.

The story of Elizabeth is a long and dark one, full of grisly gore and bloody deaths. She was born in 1470 and in her youth, witnessed the execution of her father followed by her mother and sisters. In an act of desperation, she retrieved her fathers corpse and begged for his life.
What follows are stories that continue to horrify and baffle historians yet they remain unawares that her actions were taken out of context.
As a young girl, Elizabeth Bathory was engaged to a cruel and ruthless warrior, Ferenc Nadasady and married him at the ripe age of 15. He was an absent husband, off to fight battles and war, so Elizabeth was tasked with looking after the Castle Sarvar. The first ten years of their marriage were loveless and childless, and in her spare time she acquired a reputation for being a cruel mistress to her servants.
Around 1585, she gave birth to a daughter, Anna, followed by two more beautiful young girls, Ursula and Katherina, and one son, Paul.
It was soon found to be true that she had a penchant for murdering her servants and tortured young girls to retain her beauty but what most don't know was that these were the same people who condemned her father to death and broke her family apart. She simply took revenge on those who wronged her.
Elizabeth's trial began on January 2nd, 1611, becoming a public event as the gruesome details of her crimes were recounted for all to hear. Her loyal servants were executed first with Elizabeth watching from the side once again.

You are in the last months of your life, you do not deserve to breathe the air on earth, nor to see the light of the lord, you shall disappear from this world and shall never reappear in it again. The shadows will envelop you and you will find time to repent your bestial life.”
By law, as she was of noble heritage, Elizabeth was saved from the axe but was sentenced to a lifetime of imprisonment in her castle.
Her father came to her rescue with the goal of pleading to the Vampiress Sekhmet to save his last remaining family member. Sekhmet took pity on Vlad and granted his wish; Elizabeth was gifted with the same eternal youth and beauty as her fellow creatures of the night.
Despite being the sole heir to the Tepes bloodline, her fathers followers refused to see a woman take on the title of head of the family and their leader so the relationship between Vlad and Elizabeth distanced as she created her own coven.
The females of the Tepes bloodline followed her to create the Bathory bloodline but still retain a deep alliance with their Tepes brothers.
