@✸┊jin madison ᵃ [sh ²⁹ ⁿᵒᵛ] rough battles. blood and scars. nothing scared jaehyun anymore. he had lived through the Great War, falling for his kingdom. he protected his own pack as much as he could. it was such an honour to be useful to the royal family.
he had equal liking to both leaders. as he respected hoseok, he also respected madison equally, even if she was a female. the female actually made some rational decisions, sometimes even better ones than hoseok himself. her battle strategies were quite on point, jaehyun checked himself. so it only gained more respect in the alpha's eyes.
he was away for a while, training in the battle grounds. sure, he was one of the strongest and most experienced soldiers yet there was always the room for improvement. jaehyun was a self judging man, he knew which aspects he could polish more.
when he returned in his apartment, he got an immediate message from the palace. the alpha wanted nothing more, but to rest, shower and read his favourite book. but duty calls.
jaehyun arrived at the palace in no time, he had bought his apartment quite close to the palace itself. his feet hit against the marble floor as he moved up the stairs in the koi tower. as per usual, the whole mountain, where the palace was located on, bloomed with yellow and white peonies. the signature yellow and white flags of the Lanling Jin, floated in the air. his eyes sparkled in pride as he stared at the graceful building. he immediately went to the glamour hall, the usual meeting place of the royal and military affairs. the male bowed as he noticed the elders sitting in the lines, each side of the yellow carpet in the middle. the gazes on his body and him himself, did not bother the alpha, he was waiting for the information or an order. when his eyes locked with the female leader, he was suddenly curious as why he was summoned. yet the other was a gentleman and a man of honour, waiting for the leader or the elders to speak.
