@☼┊wen karina ᵃ when karina looked at the baby, she already let her guard down. the protector swiftly moved towards her and slipped the baby into her arm before she hits the alpha with the blunt part of her scythe with a huge force. chungha's eyes glowed red as she looked down at the younger alpha, "no matter how strong your powers are, you can never be acknowledged by anyone now that you have disobeyed our leader's order." she told her firmly as the baby kept on crying. then she points the tip of her dark scythe towards her, "this is a warning. do it again, and i will make sure to give your head to her."

@☼┊wen chungha ᵃ She gasped and turns around to see the new protector of their pack, "Chungha." She uttered her name as she held the child in a secure manner. "I didn't want to do this either, but my father wants the child. If I didn't, he will..." She bit her lip and looked down. "If I take the child with me, he will be proud of me." Even though Karina doesn't like his father, she wanted him to acknowledge her, the baby starts crying as she starts to wiggle on her arm, making Karina looked at her. "Shh, baby don't cry..." She muttered before looking back at her.

@☼┊wen karina ᵃ chungha followed the wen alpha to the temple where she was ticked off by her own hallucinations, it is time for her to teach karina some lessons. she walked from the shadows behind her and lets out a grin, "poor thing, still haunted by your father's dreadfulness, eh?" then her expression changed into a grim look. "we had orders from the leader, we shouldn't take the child even though the child's father wanted to. are you being disobedient now?"

then out of from the shadows, she summoned a dark scythe and walks closer to her, "give me the child, i'll return her to where she belongs."

Karina took the child to a temple, she is still having doubts whether she would take the child to her father or should she left it here. The monsters inside her mind, the hallucinations going through her brain ever since she was trained by her father, has forced her to do what is wrong. Taking her big brother's child to Qishan, her father had told her that once the child is born she will took her to him, as much as she wanted to refuse, her father is very manipulative. He can control every movement she has, he made an irreversible seal on her back that could kill her once she disobeyed her.

She looked at the sleeping child in her arms, she was peacefully asleep. The alpha couldn't disobey her father, as much as she wanted to, it would kill her. "I'm sorry... I'm really sorry..." Karina had apologized many times for a few hours after she took the baby from the Lan beta, she sat along the stairs. Her fear starts to take over as her hallucinations starts to resurface again, taunting her, mocking her, scaring her. "No... I can't kill her..." She muttered and looks down, closing her eyes shut. "I can't! Stop telling me what to do!" Karina told her hallucinations, making the baby wakes up and starts crying. "Go away! Just ing go away!" She told once again, scaring the baby in her arms.

Yanjun stared at the other and frown, is not that he doesn't trust Jiashi, but the hunters might not be the best. He looked at the body, he would have definitely want to touch to feel the texture of the skin to find out more information, but that will destroy the evidence. He took out his phone and dropped a call to collect the body for investigation.

"No scent. The killer masked their scent well."

He looked at Tyler before nodding, "Mm. It's only one case, the leaders will not be coming in yet. Don't go Wen pack.",

He said coldly, it has been a couple of years since he went back, he does not want to go back now. "Meet me in my office tomorrow, I'll tell you everything about the packs tomorrow. No need to go Wen Pack."

He nods and passed the name card to Tyler. "As for now, my suspect is a fellow wolf, unless a hunter or human who the victim trust. Come and see me tomorrow, at my office. The result for the body will be out too. Call me for anything. "

"I understand that my information regarding the packs is incomplete. It will remain that way until one is willing to step forward and trust jiashi enough to work together for a better future." Tyler spoke coldly as eyebrows furrowed upon the sight of stained skin blemished with black and red ink. "What can you make of it?" He inquired while taking a knee beside the wolf to take a closer look. He fished his phone from the depths of his pockets, flicking the camera app open and taking several pictures to review later. "If I was to guess, it's either wolf on wolf violence or a hunter extremely skilled in mimicking wolf attacks." He began, rising to his feet while rubbing off oily smudges on his phone screen with the hem of his shirt. "Either we should have a medical examiner look at the body and get it cleaned up. Maybe then we can see something that we've been missing." After brushing off the dirt from his pants, he took one last look at the ground around them, kicking around at the leaves to see if there was anything they had missed. "I dont think you'll be able to find any foot tracks around, our best chance is if the killer had left their scent but I am not capable of differentiating wolf scents, it all smells like wet dog." He was begin honest, as brutal as it first came off. After a few minutes of rummaging around the leaves, he stopped to look at Janjun with a more gentle expression. "I know this won't bring you much comfort, but this is a victory for us knowing now that the government will not be forcing their hand in this investigation." He was drawing to a finish with the current scene, more desperate than ever to catch up on sleep as he approached the other with caution. "Have a coroner come collect the body. I will visit the Wen pack once we have more information. I would like it if you could accompany, that is if you are willing"

Yanjun looked at the other and nodded his head before he stared at the body, trying to look for more evidence. He nods slightly when he listened to what Tyler shared. He froze slightly when the other asked about grudges, he let out a soft scoff sound before shaking his head slightly. Should he tell the other, does he trust him? Maybe he should keep it to himself first, let's continue to observe the other.

"Seems like you do not know the Wen Pack history, especially under the care of the late leader Wen Rouhan."

He looked around the body and tries to pick up the scent, he rubbed the blood away from the face and frowned when he saw bruises on the face. He immediately looked up at Tyler. This is definitely not just a simple murder case, he frowned when he saw some words written on their arm. He pointed to the parts to Tyler.

"This is definitely not done by humans. It's definitely someone familiar, there are no marks on the neck, but there are some words on it, feels like something had slow down the self-recovery and it bleeds. There are words on it, but I cannot figure out what is this. Do you see any footprints around the area?"

He then touched the dead body, checking for a death message but there is nothing. He got up with a little frown. He could see many cuts around, seems like this murderer does not only just killed him but he continued to kill him after.

"This murderer might have done this out of revenge. There are many parts that could kill this wolf but we are not able to tell what is the real reason. There are no signs of struggles, feels like it's someone that he knows. I am not able to figure out the identity. It has been a while since I went back to Qishan."

@☼┊wen yanjun ᵇ Hearing his last name spill from the wolf's mouth had unnerved him and for a split second, was sure that there would be a second death committed here on this chilled morning. His jaw clenched as his cold gaze remained tacked on the other, relaxing only when Yanjun introduced himself. Thats when he had realized he had been holding his breath, letting out a soft exhale as he forced a smile to assure this was nothing to be afraid of. "A pleasure" he commented, turning his attention back to the body without a moment's hesitation. He listened to the other's analysis, silently relieved that it wasn't a human. "One of my hunters picked it up on a patrol." He sighed out wearily, looking more agitated than usual as he paced from one end of the crime scene to the other, searching for something that could tell them more about the creature. "Not even the hangshui hunters are capable of something like this." He paused, hands burying into the pockets of his jacket for warmth while turning back to look at the police officer. "No witnesses. Are there any packs holding a grudge against the wen family?" He inquired, trying to keep sleep from consuming his thoughts as his back settled against a near by tree to rest.

@人┊tyler blackburn ʰ Yanjun was not sure who is the guy in front of him, he does seem familiar. He gripped his gun tightly as he did not lower his gun, taking small steps backwards while Tyler moved towards him. He listened to the other and with his heightened senses, he was able to hear his soft mumbles.

"Hunter. Jiashi Leader, Tyler Blackburn."

He mumbles coldly under his breath and slowly lowered his gun, keeping it at the side. He is aware of the hunter group in Jiashi, they are definitely not the type who will attack wolves unknowingly, however that is not the reason for him to keep his guards down, the other is still a hunter after all.

"Wen Yanjun. Team leader for the wolves cases in Jiashi."

He frowned when he saw the dead wolf body and a red drawing of his pack's symbol, in red. He lowered his body and started to observe the body, he takes out the gloves from his pocket and put them on before he gently pokes around the body.

"He is dead, a wolf. I can't tell which pack, but judging by the smell of the blood, he is dead within 24 hours. The symbol is drawn by the blood of the wolf too. Does not feel like a usual hunter, wolf conflict case. When did you receive this report and who reported it? Any witness?"

@☼┊wen yanjun ᵇ Having a gun pointed at him in the wee hours of the morning wasn't exactly what he would consider the start to a good day. He casually rose to his feet, pocketing his phone after taking several notes and pictures of the scene while waiting for the arrival of the cop. "I really dont have time for this" he sighed under his breath looking exhausted over anything else. His gaze trained on the firearm, wondering if he dared to press his luck with the stranger. "I'll be a transparent with you as possible." He began, hand dropping to his sides as he slowly trudged his way towards the cop to face him. "If you point that thing at me, you only get one chance to make it count. Second, this isn't qishan, hangshui or whatever savage lands you come from, have some manners. And lastly, I am running on fumes with the military's polished boot so far up my I can taste the leather. So why don't you start by explaining to me why one of our sacred temples has a freshly painted mural with your pack's symbol plastering the entire back side for the whole world to see before you and your kind get labeled as a threat and there will be nothing I can do to stop it." He remained remarkably calm through his vented frustration as he settled himself within a few feet of the wolf, eyes focused solely on the other's face now that he could make out his features in the dim light of the rising sun. His voice dropped, gaze unwavering as he muttered softly for only the wolf to hear- "Dear wen, i realize i am everything youve been taught to despise, but you'll soon come to find that the hunters of jiashi are unlike any thing you've ever met"

@人┊tyler blackburn ʰ Yanjun was looking through his file in his office in Jia Shi. Everyone had left, and he usually stays till late at night, especially when he is on night duty today. Hearing the office phone ringing, he picked it up, before speaking in his usual monotone voice.

"Yes, Yanjun speaking. Noted. I will be there in 30 minutes."

He immediately put down the phone and got up to put on his police vest, before grabbing his phone, and car keys. He make his way immediately to the temple. He sprayed some perfume to cover his scent before getting off the car. Following the scent of blood, he walked to the back of the temple. He looked up at the person ,looking at the dead body, he immediately hold onto his gun, pointing at the other.

"Hands off the body and surrender yourself."

He could smell a familiar scent, he remembered smelling it from a group of hunters. Is the other a hunter too? Is this a human hunter attacking wolf case again?

@☼┊wen yanjun ᵇ It was 3:47 am when Tyler received the call about a wolf's body turning up on Jia Shi lands. The news unsettled him but he still managed to be the first at the scene before it was packaged in red tape and trampled by uncaring humans. He took a sip from the coffee cup in hand, relying solely on the bitterness and caffeine to wake him as he scanned over the ravaged carcass. He was standing behind the temple, using the flashlight of his phone to observe the walls painted in crimson red and ground soaked with what was left of the life force pumping through its veins. He could barely make out if it was even human. Tyler reared his head away in disgust, eyes landing on the blood painted wall as he stared at it for what felt like ages. He squinted, light flashing to follow his gaze. When he recognized a rather familiar symbol, his lips pursed, immediately dialing 911 and pressing the phone against his ear to speak. "Hi. Yes. This is Tyler, I would like to request an officer from the wen pack located at the temple downtown. Please send one immediately. Thank you." He hung up just abruptly as he had called, squatting down next to the remains as he checked it over for any signs of identifiable marks, worried that they would be dealing with a new type of killer.
