@✸┊jin hwiyoung ᵇ Blushing he smiles sheepishly, duh, that is why the other alpha was brought up not to be thrown at him instead but to play with, a third person to relieve the idea of the power play both Youngkyun and him will surely have in their relationship. “Did I mess it up though?” He asks both mentally and in a silent whisper.
“Yes” Jackson states affirmatively as he squeezed himself inside the door to the entrance. He did not think of his actions as much but he knew once they reached the beta’s apartment he may be told to leave, as Youngkyun was not sober nor did they fully resolve this terrible misunderstanding. “I miss you and I’m stupid for not getting what you meant.”
@☼┊wen jackson ᵃ looking over at the other in confusion, his brows furrowing as he tries to comprehend what Jackson is talking about through his alcohol hazed stupor. “What?” He ended up saying dumbly. “no the other Alpha was just. I thought it would be a fun thing to play with.” He rolls his eyes. Steps slowing as he draws nearer to his house.
“Because you liked me,” answering your rhetorical question with a confident tone as he rummages for his keys. a small triumphant sound leaving him when he finally finds them. scanning his keycard to let himself into the apartment building.
@✸┊jin hwiyoung ᵇ The memories flooded the alpha's mind and he did recall this conversation but it was much different in his perspective. He thought Youngkyun said that he would not let him bite him as a way of saying they could be nothing more than what they were. Jackson associated a tied bond as a necessity but not in the same way as Youngkyun was saying aloud. "I thought you were saying we couldn't be together which is why I cannot bite you." Jackson said confused, "I thought you wanted me to be with that bottom alpha just to stay away from you." He said picking up his pace as he d his fingers through his hair out of frustration with himself.
"Why did I confess?" He asked walking side by side with the other, the path was headed towards Youngkyun's house. He still remembered that he had come over and was told to leave. Hopefully, the beta would let him talk a bit longer before asking him to go away again.
@☼┊wen jackson ᵃ “then why did you,” he turns around to stare down at the other. hands pushing Jackson but his legs taking a few stumbled steps backwards as he loses his balance; and if he weren’t so pissed of right now, he’d laugh. “I told you I don’t want you to bite me and what did you say to me? That we can’t be together, right?.”
He took a few breaths. The air outside much clearer and less offensive to his sensitive nose. His forming headache receding if only a little. He marches his way towards his home, certain the smaller guy would follow him regardless of his protests. “then why did you do that?” his steps slow as he grumbles at the other, folding his arms.
@✸┊jin hwiyoung ᵇ Staring in disbelief, he had almost no words to offer with the first spew of words. Each sentence cut even more. Own the beta? He wanted a future, yes, but own? How did the beta get that from his confession last week. "I- do want to be together and eventually yes, claim but we will be each other's why-" He started but soon he could see that the other would leave and stop paying attention. Why did the beta even choose a club of all places to come to?
Following towards the end of the exiting doors Jackson looks at Youngkyun with worried eyes. "You were not mistaken, I have been your best friend since we were young, you know me. I know you too, I'm not a possessive alpha just trying to own anyone. I just want to be with you." He says weakly glad the noise was more shushed as they were just outside the club now.
@☼┊wen jackson ᵃ “you didn’t want to end up together, either.” He snaps back, eyes flashing argent as he cuts the alpha a glare. Rising from his seat slowly, having had enough of the loud music and the even louder smells. “all you wanted to do was own me,” his tone is accusatory, even a little bit hurt. Letting out a frustrated breath as he looks over at the crowd, brows knitted together.
“I thought you were my best friend too. I thought you were distant from all the others, but I guess we were both mistaken, right?” he casts the other male another weak glare before he pinches the bridge of his nose. “I should head back home,” he mutters petulantly, starting his journey to the doors he’d entered through.
Jackson grumbled under his breath at the sly remark, he knew the beta would try to get away, but he had no idea why. "I just don't get it, you did not want to end up together and kept pushing me onto another alpha, I thought you just wanted to be friends?" He said the calm evaporating a bit as he thought of the situation. But soon he was able to recoop as he looked at the other, the beta he could not have but why did it stop them from being close friends? Jackson would have kept quiet forever if he knew that his Kyun would stop being his mate.
"I used to be your best friend, that's who. A hyung always looking after you." Jackson retorted his hand clenching against the cold bar island. "I won't tell you what to do if it meant you were actually thinking about yourself for once." Jackson tried to glare but it softened at the beta sulking expression. "."
@☼┊wen jackson ᵃ “well since you followed me all the way here, some good that did.” He grumbles as he turns the glass in his hands. his gaze fixed downward resolutely, alcohol not seeming to help to elevate his mood with the source of his problems so comfortably perched beside him. Now he just feels stuffy again, the combined scents in the club scrubbing at his nose unpleasantly and making him what to bury his face into Jackson’s collar; he fights off the urge.
Whipping his head around to look meet the Alphas gaze finally at his words. Shoulders squared and jaw set stubbornly, a defiant light shining in his eyes. “Who are you to tell me what to do, Jackson?” He quips sharply, before looking away, sulking. Alcohol making him feel more emotional than he’s ready to admit. “Don’t tell me what to do.”
Biting the inside of his bottom lip he looks at the glare. It was not the first time he received death glares or bother looks from the other, he was used to the looks as he often annoyed Kyun with his clinginess and actions of wanting all the attention. He smiled softly at the thought, "I was not sure you heard me as you walked away instead of waiting for me." he rebutted the alpha unwavering being next to the beta.
"Your drinking, a LOT" Jackson answers the rhetorical question as he squints his eyes at the way the other raised the glass. "Which, is not like you, maybe no more?" He questions shaking his head in light disapproval. "If you do not want to talk to me then sit here and listen to me."
@☼┊wen jackson ᵃ Raising his hand at the bartender, the man; a Beta by the smell of him nodded in understanding, hands already moving to make him a drink. it isn’t long until that bothersome presence is beside him and he breathes out a long suffering sigh. “I can hear you. why do you keep calling my name,” he says evenly, grabbing the shot glass as soon as it is deposited in front of him.
His gaze finds Jackson, the look he gives incredulous. “What does it look like I’m doing,” he says instead raising his glass. Letting out a soft sigh as he turns his gaze from the other, squinting at no one in particular. “what if I don’t want to talk to you, Jackson?” He asks instead raising his glass up to his mouth and downing it./
Once he spotted the beta, he felt at ease his focus on the scent now having him at ease in his walk towards Youngkyun. He no longer needed to feel antsy finding the other, he did not even have to really look into the crowd anymore. "Kyun" he spoke again as he reached the bar, the peppermint smell was deluded with the stench of alcohol and it was not awful but it was also not pleasant to his alpha.
"What are you doing at a club?" He asked wearily as he sat on the stool next to the beta. He put his hand under his chin as he set his gaze on the other, he knew the situation was unpleasant and could sense it in the awkward air around them. "Can you talk to me today... I miss you," he spoke in a soft tone knowing that if he was not heard aloud that he was heard strongly and truthfully in Kyun's head.
@☼┊wen jackson ᵃ perhaps it was the liquor in his veins, or maybe his overall lack of awareness that made it seem as though Jackson appeared like a beacon, parting through the sea of bodies with the annoying bravado of an Alpha. Looking at the males face and hearing the sound of his voice bouncing around in his skull, he recalls the reason that he was so pissed off these last few days. His lip curling into a little scowl and he decides he’s not drunk enough for this inevitable encounter.
Moving back towards the bar with a little more urgency in his step than he had prior to sniffing out the Alpha. He’s not running away. He’s not. He’s simply walking to the bar to get another shot of whatever is strong enough to make his mood good again.
Bumping into a few people his body heated up purposefully so that when touched or brushed up against, the people around him would back off from the sting of fire his skin ignited. He did not want to join the dance, he could smell the faint smell of peppermint mixed in with the pungent smell of sweaty bodies, alcohol, and other scents around him.
But he knew the beta well, "Kyun?" he called out both in mind and aloud. He walked faster, expressionless as he sought out the other, hoping he would not turn away and leave. He needed to be serious to sort out the issue at hand, his alpha yearned for closeness again even if the memory of rejection was so fresh on his mind. 3 days since he last Youngkyun, 72 hours too long.
@☼┊wen jackson ᵃ Downing his drink with a grimace, he sets the shot glass down on the bar. He felt stuffy, it was loud, but the alcohol did a great job of dulling all the unwelcome voices in his head, his limbs looser and his mood somehow way better than it’s been these last few days. Alcohol really was magical , he wondered why he never went out more often. Turning on his heel, he walks away from the bar, his gait steady despite the way the world seems to flash in technicolor and swirl around him. His head bobbing to whatever heavy bass is playing through the speaker as he does his best to avoid the bodies that threaten to collide with him. His nose twitches at something familiar that shouldn’t be there, and he stops mid step. His head turning as his gaze tries to find the source of that smell. His Beta whining in his ears like they’ve been caught doing something bad.
Looking around he scowled, he was so sure the beta would be here. It had been a while since they last spoke, to Jackson each hour was dreadful, he was so used to seeing the beta every second of the day or being able to at the very least even when busy. Now, he questioned who the beta was anymore, a club? The Kyun he knew despised group of people, this would be a place he would beg Kyun to join him at. Yet here he was, dressed for a club, in his low button-down white shirt and black ripped jeans and boots, as he searched the sea of people for the beta.
