/But nonetheless the police uniform with the black hat was giving him some heebie jeebies from another time outside of the city. But what he didn’t notice was a pair of eyes meeting his until he widened his eyes at the sudden eye contact. Once he was caught looking in and saw you slowly walking outside the library to the doors where he was at, he started fidgeting nervously with his backpack, checking all around that he wasn’t in the country anymore. ! The popo! It could be seen as kind of suspicious except when he straightened up with a saluting hand to this stranger’s face when you finally stopped in front of him. Wait…how did this seemingly older adult guy from the city know his name? Considering you were wearing a mask that covered most of your face and that we only met once was not enough for hoseok to put two and two together that you were his temporary wolf heritage tutor kind of thing. Especially the mask./ y…yessir! /he tries to act confident despite the obvious nerves/

All I got for ya is that the rumors of the blood’s freaking out all the fish /he smiles shrugging referring to the freshman as a pet name/ don’t know anyone who saw it one on one kinda thing. /after answering all your questions, he waits for a pause to talk then tries to get a good look at you before smiling curiously to behind you at the library then glancing at you again/ did somethin actually serious happen, officer?

The number of cases of how wolves were attacking humans were on the rise again. He remembered this as one of his first few case and he was supposed to show his professionalism to his job, capturing the wolf and solving the case all by himself within 24 hours. He remembered not sleeping throughout and solved the case within 12 hours, making him the leader for wolf affairs.

He looked up from his computer before looking at his supervisor. He frowned as he could see the file being passed to him. He immediately opened the file and take it a read, he frowns seeing the pictures and some statements by the witness.

"The higher ups said that it's a new test. You need to solve this within 3 days."

He nods and immediately got up, grabbing his black hat and putting his mouth black mask on. He got on his car and immediately drove to the actual location--- Hangshui National University. He got in and showed his pass before walking towards the crime scene.

The body was still there and he lowered his body as he observed how he was killed. Once again, he was working alone, it feels like the higher ups always gave him such cases for him to prove his worth as an officer. He immediately took some pictures and got up. There is something weird with the statements, and there is a lot of things missing.

He should go around to gather more witness. He turned his head and frown when he saw someone staring into the crime scene. He immediately walked towards the direction and saw someone familiar.

"Hoseok."

He called out emotionless before going to the guy. "Do you know the victim? Do you hear any rumours. Do you know anyone who witness it?"

/it was another evening after hoseok’s classes. Some students had already quickly exited out of the building while some lingered inside or outside and just chilled. Afterall that’s what people do on a college campus after their classes are done. Hoseok was a bit different though. Even if he laughed and talked with his classmates between each of his class intervals if he’d see them, every time some of those friends asked if he was going to the college party that the frat guys were throwing or if he wanted to hang out, hoseok would just smile and reply with a light wave, “haha aw I really want to but sorry I got plans already.”/

/Not that he didn’t want to. Of course he did. It pained him. Not being around people, just chilling with people like college was meant to be. And despite being a transfer student, he easily made friends with the outgoing bunch. I mean, it was normal for him. Even back in his previous college he was always the life of the party for a lot of his friend groups. But now he didn’t really have that luxury to linger around the campus as much anymore. He /had/ to finish his credits and graduate. Now that he decided he’ll follow his own path this time/

C1: “Ayy hoseok /a familiar friend’s voice calls out as he saw hoseok exiting the door to the bike rack the man was leaning on/

/hoseok smiled and easily did their bro shake/ ayy yo man, was bout to go to Hc to study, wanna join?

C1: you didn’t here about it? /he grins to hoseok who returned back to working on unlocking the bike. Hoseok always looked like he was on some time crunch/ The freshman got their pants in a twist /laughs/

C3: don’t tease the freshman /another sweeter but scolding voice of a man answered back/ they’re still new to this /which C1 sighed with a “right right…”

/hoseok stopped unlocking his bike lock, kinda curious/ Oh damn nah I didn’t, What happened?

C2: they found some blood inside the bathroom near the library. Think maybe it’s another one of those wolf attacks that have been happening more lately /another one of the friends answered/

/hoseok stopped fiddling with his bike rack to look up at the other male/ really? It’s got that bad? /he starts wondering if maybe instead of the Hc library, he should go study in the tables outside. Not because he’s scared, but because he’d rather try to focus on what is in front of him which is these reading assignments he needs to concentrate on. It’s sunny anyways. Just…one problem. He doesn’t like bugs much./

C4: /the man nods/ yeah, ever since those canines rights protests, the government’s been really honing down on like this/

/hoseok hummed confused why a wolf would attack a human unless it was threatened but still nodded with a light laugh/ guess it’s really getting tense around here huh. Thanks! I’ll watch out. Despite the clear country accent, hoseok knew how to interact more with the city folk- almost like he had more of a city mind rather than a hillbilly one/
