Xuan Lu was beyond happy, she happily ate her food as she continued to look up at her best friend, talking about the food and also about the outfit. She remembered how when she first met Reba as a child, she was not allowed to wear anything wolf, she would be scolded and bullied, she is so happy that she was able to be part of the leaders to make this possible, a space safe for both the humans and the wolves. Her face turned into a deep red blush when Reba started to talk about meeting her boyfriend.

"Yes! You can definitely wear that, I will wear traditional outfits too! they are inspired by the different packs~ i really love them! I can cook for you and bring you around too, you can also wear your Lanling Traditional outfit and you will not get hurt by anyone anymore." She smiles brightly before continuing to eat the food, humming happily as she finishes the food slowly, sipping onto her drink.

"Is there any other exciting things happening? Other than you being a leader? That must be really stressful too!"

She looked at her friend as she gently held her hand, with more smile. Her emotions just peeked since she hadn't seen her friend for so long, knowing that she found her happiness and doing amazing while achieving her dreams at the same time really made Reba happy.

She took a few bites of the food, smiles at how good the food taste." I know right, it's really delicious~" Reba continued eating as she hums softly, feeling her tummy slowly filled up." We should come here more often if we can, or we can just cook something back at my house."

Jungeun smiled as she grabs the menu from the host, looking up at the beta as she listens to her speaks." Then I will listen to you and just order whatever you think is best for us."

She watched as the host took two menus' from behind the counter and then proceeded to lead the two females inside to one of the tables. Before sitting down in her chair, the Wen Beta pulled out Lip's chair, offering it to her with a polite smile "Unnie" she spoke in a soft voice and blinking slowly.
"I've been here a few times so I know some of the best food on the menu, it's the least I could do considering you're buying our lunch"

Would it work if I meet you at the borders of Lanling Jin and you can bring me in? I don't know if they allow a human to walk into the pack, I don't want to get you into trouble."

She mumbles, really very excited to see how is Reba doing in her place, she has always wanted to visit a wolf pack too, but of course, it is forbidden towards humans and they definitely need someone to bring them in. Right after, she could definitely bring Reba around Meilan, a very different Meilan as compared to when she is younger.

"let's dig in! The food is cold!"

She chuckles before taking the utensils, putting some of the food on Reba's plate before taking them for herself to eat, she let out a happy hum, before waving her hands doing a little dance at how nice the food is. "It's so good!"

" Ohh, I think you can come my shop first and check it out. Then we can go back to your city later, what do you think?" The alpha asked Xuan Lu, she can't wait to hangout with her old friend after so long. Her excitement showed all on her face, but she hold back her happiness when she smell the food on the table.

"Sure! You are always welcome to come to Meilan! How about tomorrow? Would you be busy? I can travel to your store too! I think it will be really fun. I can't wait~ You can teach me how to design too."Her smile was huge and bright, excited and happy to know that her best friend is doing so well now. Her eyes widened and squealed happily at how nice the food looked.

" of course you can, you are always welcoem to come to my shop. You don't even need any reservation, just come in and you will find me in my office at the back of the shop. I'm there most of the time during the week, and even I don't you can just call me and I will be back as soon as I can." She gently patted Xuan Lu, nodding her head. " Maye be I should visit your place too, I haven't been there yet. So it would be nice to go and visit you some times. "

@人┊yoon jeonghan Yanjun left the restaurant after giving his name cards to the staff, there is a little rut feeling that, someone will be contacting him today. He went back to his car and immediately took out his laptop and started to record down the statements of the various staff at the restaurant. He then looked at the pictures that he took when he saw the dead body, he continued to prepare the report before saving it. He looked at his watch before he start to drive around, trying to look around for more clues, he took out his notebook and started to make little notes, telling himself to come by in the morning to search for eye witnesses. His phone started to vibrate in his pocket a couple of hours later. He took it out and saw that it was an unknown number. He pressed onto a button on the steering wheel before answering the call, while he drove the car to the side.

"Wen Yanjun speaking."

"Your address."

Yoon Jeonghan is the worker that he met at the restaurant. He recognised him as the nervous one, he seems like the person closest to witness the murder since he was out throwing rubbish as mentioned by his colleagues. Hearing the voice, he knew something is up, his gut feeling is, Jeonghan might not be safe, especially if the murderer saw his face.

"Coming. 15 minutes. Lock your door, make sure no one opens the door. I will knock on your door 5 times later."

He spoke before starting to drive towards the given address, he parked his car and walked up towards the door, giving the door a total of 5 knocks, waiting for Jeonghan to open the door.

@☼┊wen yanjun ᵇ With the questioning still going on, Jeonghan could feel every fiber in his body trembling already but he tried his best to not show his nervousness, which he thinks is already failing with how the investigator is looking at him. At the end of it, the moment he received the latter's card and heard his words of hindering the investigation by hiding any information, he contemplated until he got to his apartment after they have closed up.

He tried to freshen up as he took a bath but the scene of that man firing multiple shots at the man laying on the ground and how his body jolted when the gun was finally fired on his forehead and how his his head turned to him, with eyes wide open, is something that is haunting him. He does not know the guy, he doesn't want to be involved in any of this and Jeonghan would do anything to turn back the time to just avoid the situation and not see the killing at all but he can't just forget about it.

With trembling hands and tears already brimming his eyes, he picked his phone up and looked at the investigator's business card, whom he found out was named Wen Yanjun. Sitting on his couch, knees and legs folded and close to his chest, he stared at the number for a few good seconds before he decided to finally call the man. Bringing the phone close to his ears as he nibbled on his finger, a habit he does when nervous, he almost jumped at the sound of the phone ringing, he tried to calm himself down and letting out a deep, shaky breath, once the ringing stopped, he spoke.

"I-Is this Wen Yanjun? I-It's me. . . Yoon Jeonghan. . . t-the server at the restaurant. . . I. . . I would like to give you my statement. . . c-can you come over to my place? I don't want to go out. . ." His voice trembled as he said those words in broken breaths. The investigator's not even here but he's already at the verge of breaking down. He's scared out of his wits and going out is something out of the question for him as he's scared that the man might have seen him and will lurk in the shadows to come out and kill him too. He'll be willing to give his statement but not outside the comfort of his own apartment.

@人┊yoon jeonghan Yanjun looked around the room, studying everyone's reaction. Body Language is definitely something that he will keep a lookout for. While listening to the staff openly sharing about their work and when they spoke about Jeonghan, the guy that greeted him just now tensed up. He is guessing that is Jeonghan. He stares at his trembling hands and he looked at him when the other makes his statement. Jeonghan might have seen something horrifying based on his body language, he is definitely not comfortable right now. He thinks when he heard about the CCTV that busted. He noted that down and he will be sending some colleagues to check and fix it.

He nods and looked at Jeonghan and the rest. He took out a little card box from his pocket and gives out his name card to everyone. "Thank you for your cooperation. Eye witness is definitely very important. Someone will come by tomorrow morning to fix the camera. If you remember any details, feel free to call me anytime." He was hinting Jeonghan, the man who looked a little too uncomfortable among the staffs. He is definitely not the killer, he was working and he saw, his clothes do not have blood and his staff saw him working, for him to run out ot kill and come back, is impossible.

"Take note to not hide anything because it might hinder our investigation. I will see you around." He waves before keeping his notebook, he looked at Jeonghan once again. He knew he should put some focus on him, maybe he might get more information.

@☼┊wen yanjun ᵇ With everyone gathered, Jeonghan tried to focus on his phone but as soon as the investigator mentioned that the whole conversation will be recorded and the mere mention of the murder that he just witnessed, he can't help but shift in his seat and soon enough, his attention was taken by the man.

Upon hearing the question, there was almost no way that he can't be pointed out but his colleagues starts to give their statements and he thought that it will soon be over until one of their female servers mentioned about him going to the back.

"We were all busy but Jeonghan's the one in-charge of throwing the garbage earlier tonight. Maybe he saw something?" And just like that his face went pale and he tried to gather his composure but he could feel his hands trembling and he tucked his phone away in the front pocket of his apron and tried to ramble what he'll say.

"Uh, yeah. I was in-charge of it but I was busy throwing the garbage away and the light was dim to none in the alley, I'm just used to the layout of the area that's why we don't really bother putting up lights there anymore. I'm not sure if it helps but I think we do have cameras there too?" He retorted back with a question, only for the chef to speak up about the cameras being busted.

With all of their expectant looks and not being able to handle the stares that he's getting, especially from the investigator, he mustered all of his courage to speak further. "I didn't see anything, really. After throwing the garbage and cleaning around the area, I went back inside and that's when you found me clearing up the tables in the dining hall, Sir." He respectfully addressed the latter, wanting to deflect the attention he's getting since he's the only person who went to the back before the police and this investigator came in, hoping that the questioning will be over as he just wants to go home and forget about what happened and what he saw.

@人┊yoon jeonghan "Uhm, sure. I'll just gather them up in here so that we can get this over with. We have work tomorrow too so we can't really afford to just be interrupted again."

Yanjun nodded his head and took out his phone and also a notebook with a pen from his pocket. He sat down in front of everyone so that he could look at everyone reaction. He shows them his phone before continuing, "I will be recording the conversation for investigation purposes." He pressed onto the red button before he put his phone down and he looked at everyone in the room, the few staff around looked really tired, he should keep it short. However, the man that he spoke to just now looks a little fidgety.

"There is a man that got murdered at the alley right behind the restaurant. Did anyone go to the back within these few hours? Please note that every single statement that you said is recorded as a statement for investigation."

@☼┊wen yanjun ᵇ Hearing the latter explain and try to clear any misunderstanding, Jeonghan muttered to himself how he knows about the murder and tried to not say it out loud. Continuing to clear the tables, he got back to the dining hall and listened to what the investigator had to say.

"Uhm, sure. I'll just gather them up in here so that we can get this over with. We have work tomorrow too so we can't really afford to just be interrupted again." He said, trying to calm himself down as he knows he will surely give in if the latter was to ask questions but it does not leave him with any choice as he didn't want to sacrifice his co-workers getting stressed over this if this is to be dragged longer than it should.

After calling everyone to the dining hall, Jeonghan sat at the far end while the others took seats at the tables nearer to the investigator. He tried to distract himself by being on his phone but he could hear his own heartbeat in his ears and he's just praying that this goes by fast as no one's involved in the murder, of course, other than him since he's the only one who saw it. He takes a deep breath and looked up, waiting for the latter to start his investigation.

@人┊yoon jeonghan Yanjun blinks when he saw everyone running back to the back of the restaurant, that make things suspicious. However, there is no scent of blood here, unless the other cleaned well, he doubt the killer is hiding here. He looked at the human cleaning and walking around, his face was looking pale. The other must either be not feeling well, or he might have seen someting that might scare him.

"Please don't misunderstand. There is a murder at the alley, I was wondering if there is any witness who might see the murder."

Hearing how the other spoke softly and walking around to clean, it is a possible scene that the other was feeling nervous, adding to the pale face, Yanjun suspected that the other must have seen something but he must be afraid. "Would you help me to gather everyone, so I can ask them? If there is anyone fearful to go home, I can ask my colleagues to send you home. Would you be okay if I ask you too?" He stared at the other, best if he is able to interview everyone by tonight, but it's already quite late at night, and everyone had a long day at work. He looked at the human before taking out a name card with his name and details.

"If today is not a good time, I can drop by tomorrow."

@☼┊wen yanjun ᵇ Jeonghan's day isn't composed of anything, and one can pretty much say that his life is boring if not for him going to university and doing all of his part time jobs on the side. He does not have that much friends and he's rarely outside if he's not working at the restaurant. Tonight is no exception, or so he thought. The restaurant's closing up already and he's tasked with throwing out the garbage but as soon as he made it out to the dumpster at the back of the restaurant and into the alley where their garbage bin was, he heard noises behind the large bin and he could only wish that his curiosity didn't get the ahead of his rational thinking as the next thing he saw just made him gasp and like a statue, he was crouching behind that bin, unable to move.

A man was down the ground, beaten up to a pulp and begging for his life, his voice still ringing in Jeonghan's ears even after the suspect left, whom he briefly saw due to the light towering over him and his victim despite wearing an all black ensemble. Three quiet shots to his torso and one in his head, that last one was what sealed this whole scene in his head that he had become zombie like once he was called to come back inside the restaurant.

Despite the inquiries from his co-workers as to why he's acting in such a way, he shrugged it off and continued to clean up with them. They have already put up the closed sign but then he heard the door open and was about to greet the man to let him know that they have closed for the night when he froze on the spot upon hearing the man's reason for coming in. Everyone was in a fuzz and ran to the back of the restaurant and into the alley and he was left there with the police officer. He wish he had not seen anything but his face running a pale would immediately give the answer as to who saw everything and he mentally slapped himself for being too transparent.

Trying to compose himself, he continued to walk around the dining hall, clearing tables as he spoke. "Uhmm, you should try to, uhmm, talk to them, but rest assured that we were all just cleaning here. Have you not spoken about the murder we wouldn't have known that something happened at the back of our restaurant. . ." Jeonghan said, trying to calm himself down and not show his true emotions because as far as he's concerned, he doesn't want to relive anymore what he saw as it gives him this profound fear of something and someone he doesn't even know.
