@☘ ┊nie jaewook ᵃ [H] "it's fragrant. i like it because it smells nice." jiyang smiled gently, bringing his hands up to rest his chin upon his palm. "we should get something to eat with the tea... sweets usually pair well with tea."
@☘ ┊nie jiyang ᵇ "And that would be it. Thank you," Jaewook said to the worker before he bowed his head to Jaewook. Jaewook then rested his arms on the table, crossing as he looked at Jiyang's face. "Rose tea? Is it nice?"
@☘ ┊nie jaewook ᵃ [H] lips pressed firmly together, jiyang paused as he looked at the alpha for a moment. looking down for a moment before jiyang spoke up to the worker as they were seated. jiyang sitting across from jaewook as he fiddled with the hem of his sleeve. "a rose tea, please."
@☘ ┊nie jiyang ᵇ "That is good to know," Jaewook smiled as he heard the beta chuckled. He let the beta walked in front of him, leading by the worker. He bowed his head after the worker was done leading them and ordered a green tea for himself. "What do you want, jiyang?"
@☘ ┊nie jaewook ᵃ [H] "i wore hanfus a lot when i was a wen... and when i was younger-" jiyang chuckled dryly as he made his way in through the entrance before he combed his fingers through his hair. eventually looking up at the alpha before the two were guided over to seat upon the second floor within a private room. "i never really thought of you as a tea drinker, what do you usually like?"
@☘ ┊nie jiyang ᵇ he nodded his head, agreeing with what the beta said about the red hanfu. "it is pretty. i like it." they walked for more steps and once arrived, jaewook opened the entrance door for the beta to come in first.
@☘ ┊nie jaewook ᵃ [H] once the alpha had brought up the red hanfu he wore, jiyang clutched at the hanfu that he wore as the dancer smiled. jiyang's fingers smoothing over the silk cloth, "i got it from a friend... they didn't tell me where they got it, but it's pretty and i really like it."
@☘ ┊nie jiyang ᵇ Jaewook led both of them to the tea shop. Luckily the shop placed near the stone castle. However, during the walk, Jiyang's dress sometimes caught the attention of Jaewook. He hummed softly before he asked, "Where did you buy the dress?"
@❀┊jiang jongin ᵃ The wolf blinked, a scent peering through the aroma of his tea. Damn his scent, being able to pick up scents from far distances, was not exactly the most convenient of things while running a shop like this. All he really wanted to smell were his own teas brewing within the shop; it were truly a pain sometimes when his shop would be packed-- wait. Seonghwa's nose twitched.
This scent.
The sound of low toned chime bells sounded through the shop, cutting his current train of thought as his eyes widened in anticipation as to who were to walk from behind that door. And to his shock, it were the exact person his mind had gone to once their scent was picked up.
Jongin?
"...Holy ...?" Shocked was an understatement, yet he did not allow that to take over the happiness flowing in him. How long has it been since they've seen each other? They used to see each other quite frequently until his shop had gotten more popular and Jongin's work were overflowing; in turn eventually drifting apart from each other for awhile. Hasn't it been almost a year?
"Jongin..?" Seonghwa had walked away from his station before his brain really caught up with him, nearing the fellow alpha with a warm embrace. A normal greeting between the two. "I haven't seen you so long." The male spoke out with a chuckle, chin resting against their shoulder as they still hugged. Soon pulling away, Seonghwa took a step back to give the other some space. "How have you been? What even brings you here out of all days?" It was the last day of the week for the shop to be open. Time was surely on their side.
@☘ ┊nie seonghwa ᵃ jongin’s initial plan this early in the morning in the heart of qinghe city was to only drop by for new reading materials he’d planned to get for the library. he would make a quick stop at the same quaint book store he’s been frequenting for years now, and then leave as soon as he finishes his business here, not wanting to stick around too long where he doesn’t belong. but much to his disappointment, as soon as he arrives, his plans went right down the drain— when he finds that the shop is unfortunately closed for the day. darn it.
where ever should he go now, then? he didn’t want to make the trip there a waste of his money. he doesn’t leave his city as often too, so it would be even more of a waste if he went home to the kids without anything special with him. walking around the block, he wondered if a certain friend in this area were busy tending to his shop. last he heard of him, seonghwa’s growing business has been taking a lot of his time that jongin didn’t get to see him as often anymore, and so as his work at the library has been taking his time away from the rest of the world. if he’d remembered well, the place itself is only a few minutes of walk away from there. before he knows it, he’s already making a turn towards the familiar corner down the road to find the ever so famous tea shop in the area.
the aroma that greets him as soon as he gets there were unmistakably seonghwa’s special blend. just how can someone make something as simple as tea so out of the ordinary? he was glad that /this/ shop was open, and pushes open the door, a sheepish smile greeting his friend as soon as he finds him behind the counter. this was a surprise visit, one could say.
@❀┊jiang jongin ᵃ Friday. First day of the weekend and last day his shop were to be open for the week. Seonghwa had usually taken the weekends to rest- er- more like train until his arms were on fire or he were ready to drop. Though, lately, he has taken notice that maybe he should take it easy. His body had been on a noticeable decline. Maybe it had been because he hadn’t been on his regular healing regimen. There was just so much to take care of in terms of the shop and his personal selling of sculptures he makes himself. Yeah, a break was definitely within the lines of this up coming month.
The wolf straightened his plain onyx black apron and tightened his hair within the black ribbon that held most of his hair up; walking around to the counter to attend to his self made tea set. This was here he would usually prepare the tea for the customers, making sure to make two cups to start out the opening of his shop for that day. Like clock work, someone would come in just about when he would be done pouring the last drop of tea into the red, porcelain clay cups. Today’s special tea? A blend of specially made black oolong tea, fresh citrus and honey; and it smelled absolutely divine.
Once he were done prepping and pouring the two cups, he gently sat down the kettle off to the side, placing his hands behind his back to rest them there.
