@人┊joshua hong Xuan Lu eyes widen when Joshua said those words before planting a soft, gentle and loving kiss on her forehead. She was reading a book about relationships during her off days and she hop by the library. The kiss on the forehead represents trust, it's a message saying that they trust you, they want to protect you. The kiss on the forehead often makes one feel at ease and secure. When Joshua does that, she could feel her heart beating quickly, but it's not due to nervousness but excitement and is a really nice feeling.

She let Joshua to hold her hand and guide her towards the couch, gently sitting on it, and patting her dress gently before looking at Joshua, seeing the jelly cake on the table before noticing how he is observing her embroidery work. "Yes! I was searching for your birthday and also astrology, and they gave me something like this.. It might not be 100% accurate... I did a couple of times, this seems like the best." she mumbles softly, definitely not going to show Joshua the 4 different sets that she make, left at home. "Handmade gifts are always nice!" she chuckles before looking at Joshua, she blinks when Joshua said that he has something for her too. She looked at him walking towards his study upstairs before she start to look around. It's her first time here, and the house is really beautiful, indeed very Joshua. She blinks when Joshua is back and sees the little box in his hands, she looked at Joshua as she listens to him.

"W-woah.. It's so beautiful..!"

She let out a soft squeal, it's the first time someone gave her such a beautiful and expensive gift, she gently lifts up the ring from the box and chuckles softly as she stares at the beautiful ring. "I do..! I really like it..!" she chuckles and let out soft laughter, realising that the both of them got something similar, related to their star signs. "What is a birth sign? Is it... when we are born, this sign appears on our body? Is it like the.. birth mark? But isn't that then the same thing? " her eyes widen once again, really curious about all these, she always love to listen to Joshua explaining, it makes her feel very flustered and her heart skip a beat, to see her man being so passionate about his passion.

@人┊xuan lu "Whatever that you've prepared for me I'll always cherish them. It doesn't have to be too extravagant to make me love you." Soft tiers planted against the area of her forehead, loving yet tender just like how he felt for her. Joshua took her hand and guide the both of them to his living room, setting the jelly on the table before taking a rest on the couch with her. "I- I never realized you would ever go through your way to make an embroidery for me. Is this my astrological sign?" Using the palm of his hand, Joshua smoothed over each piece of thread woven from her to slowly create the piece of artwork. He wasn't a fan of cross stitches or anything that came with a needle and tapestry, but he always appreciate the work they put through to make each detail come to life. "That reminds me. I also have something for you."

He took his leave to walk back into his study upstairs, a blue velvet box in hand to be presented by her. "I hope it's not unoriginal. We have the same birth sign, but gave ourselves an item to remember in a different way." From the box, there lay a golden ring adorned with diamond gemstones that represents a star from the constellation, capricorn. It not only served as his star, but now owned by them alone, dancing through the galaxy above them. Joshua starred with eyes wide and hopeful towards Lu. "Do you like it? I- I'm not proposing so early! It's just... The star made me think of you, that's all."

@人┊joshua hong Xuan Lu wasn't aware that she was rambling about her gifts, while she was still standing outside of the door in the cold, her body start to shiver a little when the cold wind blows against the door. Seeing Joshua in his white collared shirt makes her blush, her cheeks turn a little red on her slightly cold cheeks, Joshua really does really good in that white outfit. It makes him look like a beautiful white prince and her thoughts were cut off when she heard the soft chuckle, she felt she was being brought in. Before she could stop rambling, she felt something soft yet sweet against her lips, she froze and let out a chain of soft, shy yet slightly loud chuckle.

"I..I..It's late..! I wanted to handmade something for you... The jelly... it's the first time I make something like this, it reminds me of you, but I should have baked a birthday cake instead.." She mumbles, showing the little jelly cake that she baked and prepared, she definitely took a while, to make sure that it taste good, she will make small portions to try it again and again. "The..the.. frame! I sew it..! I remembered you like the stars.. but I cannot bring the stars to you.. so I sew it, it's not really nice.." she mumbles softly looking down on the floor slightly, giving both the gift to Joshua. "Happy birthday, Happy New Year!"

@人┊xuan lu Winter had finally settled in the bustling streets of Jiashi city. He knew for sure to grab a good long vacation in the holidays, but unfortunately for his excitement whenever stars are involved, Joshua will always grab the chance to capture everyone of them. By the time he was done, the man always found himself wiping the lid clean before storing the item back towards it's original spot from his office. The whole thought made him rethink about his childhood and how much the stars had always peeked from the pitch black sky just to make his day worthwhile.

Subtle ringing sounded through the first floor of his lobby. Folding the ends of his white collared shirt, the young man appeared at the door to check whoever decided to visit him before unlocking the knob. "Thank you, my cherry. It's been a long time ever since I celebrated my birthday." Although, his beloved wasn't the only thing that caught his attention. A hint of red appeared through the corners of his eye making him double over and slowly recognize the outfit she wore. "Dressed up for Christmas I assume? Come in, it's quite chilly outside. Did you bring a jacket?"

A soft chuckle left his lips, watching her ramble on and on before pulling the female in for a short kiss. "Slow down, love. One at a time."

@人┊joshua hong Xuan Lu was walking around Jiashi, looking for her boyfriend's house address. She holds onto the little paper bag she prepared and holds onto the black long jacket closer to her, she is feeling a little shy on wearing the outfit outside and is a little cold, but she knew she will take the coat off to press onto Joshua's doorbell.

It took her a while, maybe 30 minutes before she found the right house, still trying to get used to being around Jiashi. Gently removing her black coat, showing her in a red santa claus hoodie dress with a pair of red high heels, she pressed onto the doorbell.

"Joshua~"

She called out softly before waiting for the other to open the door before showing him his gift. "Happy birthday!!" She said with a faint of red on her cheeks, not sure how Joshua will react to her outfit before passing the gift to him.

"It's.. It's still the christmas and new year gift... So the outfit..! I.. I.. Make you flower jellies..! And I.. I didn't know what to give you.. So I search up your birthday and decided to.. Make a little keychain for you.. It's not perfect but it's my first time making it.. I hope you like it..! A-ah I should have got a cake.. "

She said with lots of excitement before mumbling the last statement softly, just realizing that this is what she forget.

@混血┊mejibray meto ʰ Joshua sent him a blank stare. He knew he'll never have Meto live up the moment where his belongings were near from damage but he also shouldn't have raised his voice on him. It's still his fault for coming in so casually to surprise him with each chance he gets. His eyes tore back to the device he had around his arms, aiming it this time in an angle he approved of before driving his attention back towards his careless friend. The gestures and actions that he made concluded that the door was indeed stuck. Great. "This is why I hate it when people slam their doors. You're paying for a new door knob, Meto." Joshua sighed. No matter how many times he warned the other about shutting the door gently, he would never listen. Sometimes it made him think of the day on how they became friends in the first place.

Oh, no. "Well, to be you. I've prepared all the equipment I need for stargazing, food to eat for the night and a couple of sleeping bags so I could camp here. I didn't expect for a visitor." Even if that sounded harsh, Joshua pat Meto's head softly, a small but pained smile crossed his features before returning back to his telescope. He actually had too much food stored in one container of his astronomy office. Joshua just didn't want to give Meto some until he apologized for banging his door. Now, he just hoped the other won't find it or he would be screwed on his current annoyed aura.

"What brings you here anyway? I know you move from one place to another but your sudden appearance will always be a..." Joshua thought for a moment. "Surprise each time you visit. Did you find something interesting?"

@人┊joshua hong Meto always showed up unannounced. He travelled a lot and never knew when he would be nearby, and he wasn't in the habit of calling ahead to places he was going to. Joshua's reaction in itself didn't surprise him, but the rare outrage caught him off guard. His friend was just like the type of person you would expect to look at stars for fun: keeps to himself, gentle and a romantic. That's how Meto saw him anyways. Not the type to yell. Meto pursed his lips into a slight frown, his gaze falling to the piece of equipment he held onto. Skywatcher Startravel-- it looked just like all the other telescopes he had. Who came up with those ridiculous names anyway? Meto's lips stretched into a sheepish but mischievous grin. "I did thoough~" He made a motion of opening and closing a door. "See?" Wait- no the door hadn't actually closed. "One sec-..." Meto spun on his heel and jogged to the front door. The door sat firmly on its hinges. Meto attempted to open it just to make sure it was closed properly, but it wouldn't budge. "What?", he mumbled softly to himself, his brows furrowing. He tried again with more force. Nothing. If the front door wouldn't open... "Joshua!", he called out from the entrance. "I'm staying over!!" Meto was excited and his expression showed.

@混血┊mejibray meto ʰ Two weeks was all it took him to realize how much of a mess his astronomy work space was. The days spent from his hospital bed made him feel convinced that he stayed overnight rather than a whole week to get himself recovered. Joshua has a habit of keeping everything in order before leaving for work or a simple date with his fiancée. But ever since she moved away from him, which he wasn't informed of, had everything in quite a clutter from telescopes being pushed down the bottom corners of his closet and pictures of the moon littered near his trash bin. All the work he carried under his shoulders, taking documentaries of the stars had him clenching his fist on one of the photographs, meaning to throw them away until his grip faltered, leaving the stray photo on his desk.

It's one of his first projects to be submitted in a portfolio. Tossing them away meant removing the memory of his achievements and the progress of how he managed to land on the job that he always wanted ever since he was a child. Joshua sighed. "I should consider rearranging this room soon... Maybe the constellations posted on my board instead of the moon next time?" The quiet atmosphere made him feel alone. No one was responding back to him since he knew he was indeed alone in his house now. His fiancée is absent and forever will be in the near future.

Joshua rummage under the closet to fix his telescope and camera, positioning it towards the sky where he knew the stars will soon present themselves. Relief washed over his features as to see that there held absolutely no damage on the equipment he abandoned during the two weeks of rest he required. "Ah, this isn't the angle I want..." Joshua murmured before taking the large device in his hands, carefully positioning it in a space where he knew he could capture more of the galaxy and the hidden treasures that lied behind it. Just when he was about to set the telescope down a large noise followed by a boisterous voice came booming in his house which caused him to loose his grip on the device, nearly collapsing on the floor.

"What in the- Meto, what the ! You almost made me drop my Skywatcher Startravel." Joshua set his eyes on the male who decided to show up without prior notice. He rarely raised his voice. His telescope caused thousands and he couldn't just allow to let that slip past him. "Can't you just shut the door and open them like any other person would?"

@人┊joshua hong Jiashi felt like the suburbs compared to a mega-modern city like Huangshui. He didn't mind the relaxed, calming vibes although he was pretty sure he'd go crazy if he had to live here for long. Meto enjoyed peace and quiet as much as the next guy, but to him, nothing could beat the chaotic bustling of Huangshui. Lips pursed he trudged down the driveway, casually twirling a heavy hunting knife with ruthless jagged edges. "Oh-" He put the knife away out of the sight. He always forgot it wasn't too common to openly carry weapons here. Boring. He could see light in the house and a skip entered his step. He grinned. It hadn't been long since he'd hung out with Joshua, but it sure felt like it. The closer he got to the front door the more energy flooded his veins. "Joshuaa!!", he called out loudly and burst in. The door smacked with a bang against the wall and ricocheted with force. Meto jumped out of the way just in time, avoiding the full force of the door that slammed back into place. The door sprang back again, not falling shut but the hunter didn't notice. Meto ran into the work space, saw him stargazing and felt the urge to put Joshua in an affectionate chokehold. He held back and instead grabbed him by his shoulders and shook him excitedly. "Joshua! What are the stars telling you today?", he grinned down at the other.
