Karina's hand was shaking as she is gripping a pen, her inner monster starts to whisper through her but she resisted. She put down the pen and sat on the chair and holds her head, "I need to rest... It's been a long walk through here." Karina muttered and looks down before she suddenly got an idea that she needs to ask the Meilan leader. "By any chance, do you know someone by the name of Jiang Jiyoo?" She asked Yeji.

@✸┊jin anya ᵇ @☼┊wen karina ᵃ "doctors from our pack are preoccupied with their schedules, especially when they land a helping hands in meilan." yeji muttered and looked at anya, "my mother has more connections and strings she's holding, but i would suggest not to talk to her right now." then she goes back on writing some papers and checking on them. "you two need to rest, it's been a long day for the both of us." yeji told her sister calmly, despite being composed and unfazed the young beta is tired thinking about the incident and her adopted sister helping a hapless wen in their midst.

@✸┊jin yeji ᵇ @☼┊wen karina ᵃ Anya exhale softly as it seemed like they were finally getting somewhere, rubbing her lips together as she closed her eyes a moment, "Yes. She knows." the wen-jin confirmed softly that Karina was aware of her actions and wanted things to change. If not for her sanity then for her future with Anya. The older sister watched the younger-so responsible, and powerful- hand her a card and speak from the Lan pack. "You don't know anyone from Jin?" Lan was also not a fantastic idea, as Karina had taken a Lan mixed baby right from her mother's arms... Lan Irene was the female leader, and Anya could figure that wouldn't fly with her.

@✸┊jin yeji ᵇ @✸┊jin anya ᵇ Karina looked at the unfazed beta as she talked to Anya with a composed and calm tone, she looked down and sighs before stepping back a bit for the two betas talk. However during their conversation, the alpha starts to see things again, whispering to her ears that they ask to kill everyone inside the apartment. The alpha stepped back and looks away as she starts covering her ears, "No, stop it... I won't get what you wanted." Then she sees a pen on top of the end table, "But it is the only way, is it?" Karina's left eye glowed red as she was succumbed into her inner monster once again as she slowly looked back at the two betas, gripping at the pen with her hand, ready to stab either one of them.

@✸┊jin anya ᵇ @☼┊wen karina ᵃ the jin beta still looking at the files while she listens to her older sister's explanation, she felt like she needs an apology but not right now since she has other things she needs to do first, she had to get her work finish. but hearing that karina had helped her get out of qishan and got adopted by her mother, it really realized the leader something. "that wen needs to apologize to some people." she slowly gets something from her purse a calling card.

"here's the card that can help you, she's from lan pack." she told her, "i have some complicated relationship with other packs but the lans would help you two." then looked at karina. "she can help you, dr. irene or lan yeri." then she goes back to work on the paperworks but continues to speak, "dr. irene lan is a surgeon, i don't know what expertise but she knows how to deal with mental illnesses."

@✸┊jin yeji ᵇ @☼┊wen karina ᵃ Appalment struck the beta's face like a physical slap upon hearing her sister's words. Yeji knew her too well, and too much. How could she use something said in confidentiality against Anya now? 'She's that upset.' The blonde felt tears run to her eyes as the jin went cold and allowed for her mate to die. "Yeji, look at me!" Anya yelled, not afraid to get into her sister's face, literally grabbing each of Yeji's cheeks to get her to focus on her. "I was born a wen! You condemn me when you condemn her. How are you in the right to judge?!" Finally, with a nonchalant notion, Melian's leader let the alpha go, to which Anya knelt neck to her partner, checking her now bruised neck with slightly shaking hands. "Karina," the beta shook her head as the alpha spoke, "Kari." her voice was sharp and stern as the alpha revealed the pregnancy, eyes practically a fire as she stared her alpha down to ensure she would stop talking. Anya exhaled heavily, wiping her tears as she followed her sister into her room, listening as she spoke of the current heat in Meillan, astounded that the jin already drew a battlefield line. "We?" Anya shook her head in disgust. "So now it's we? Without the wen parts of your life." the beta couldn't believe the other's quick disregard, doing her best to keep her composure, "Yeji, I'm the same person I was 5 days ago. I've been the same person since we met. There are the wen parts of me I can't change- i can't take my book and rewrite all the of my past, but I want to take control of my future. Ji Ji," Anya took the other beta's hand, looking between the younger's orbs. "Karina is the reason I made it into those woods. Her choice lead me to you. To mom. I would have never watched your graduate, or move into your first apartment, or see you get drunk at your first party, without that wen." Anya tried to read the other's expression, "I love you. I'm always going to love you. I need your help Ji...please..."

@✸┊jin yeji ᵇ @✸┊jin anya ᵇ The alpha struggles to breathe as her hand grips tighter around her neck, she tries to get off her hand from choking as she looked at Yeji. But once she turns away, her hand lets go from her neck and she starts coughing for air. Karina looked back at the leader and stand up, "Listen, I'm sorry for hurting you and your sister and for taking a child- but guess what? I don't have the baby anymore, the protector of my pack took the baby to give it back to its mother." She apologized and looked at Anya before she holds her hand. "And about us mating, I will take responsibility for the baby."

@✸┊jin anya ᵇ @☼┊wen karina ᵃ "and you let yourself get mated by a wen whom you always hated to meet." yeji coldly looked at anya as she watches the alpha choke herself, she really has distaste on wen people especially the wen leader itself. "don't try to stop me, unnie. i'm doing this for the both of us." she added as she looked at the wen alpha, she looked through the eyes of the wen and saw there is a truth behind those orbs. in a few moments she sighed, "let go now." she commanded, also dispelling the ability of commandment around the alpha before turning away and walked through her room, showing how many papers piled up on her desk and bed. "look, i'm not in meilan right now, and if you're looking for the best doctors for that wen then i'm sorry to disappoint you." she then turn to anya, "the doctors of meilan are preoccupied right now, a massive commotion appeared earlier today, hundreds were injured." yeji sat on her chair and looked down on the files. "we've lost a few people too."

@✸┊jin yeji ᵇ @☼┊wen karina ᵃ Anya's eyes widen slightly as her sister, the leader of a nation, commanded her partner forward and didn't seem at all surprised by the reveal. "No, Yeji!" but it was too late, as the other, with just her voice, commanded an alpha to choke themselves out. Anya watched a second in horror before grabbing her adoptive sisters shoulders in fierce fear. "Stop it Yeji! She's my mate, please!" the beta begged in horror, literally shaking her sister in desperate attempt to get her to call off her words.

@✸┊jin yeji ᵇ @✸┊jin anya ᵇ Her eyes widen when the other commanded her, instantly her body just moved closer towards the other Jin beta and took off her hat without the alpha controlling it, the ability of this woman is truly amazing. What is most amazing is that the leader of Meilan knew who she is already, but she commanded once again, her right hand went to and starts to grip around it. She struggles to get her right hand off from her neck but it keeps gripping on to strangle her, she starts to breathe uncomfortably and uttered a word. "I... I..." She looks at Yeji with pleading look as she knelt in front of her as she kept choking herself.

@✸┊jin anya ᵇ @☼┊wen karina ᵃ as the fellow jin beta hugged her, she hugged her as well. despite having a strained relationship with her mother, she still loves er adopted sister no matter what. "please tell me where you are so i don't have to worry for you." yeji looked at her then to the friend she invited in their apartment, when they broke the hug she starts to smell an ominous scent all over her older sister but she ignored it when she looked at the other wolf. "who is this fella you're with?" she asked before anya introducing her to the wen wolf that anya knew, yeji's face slowly frowned at the mention of her friend from wen.

she crossed her arms and squinted at the wen wolf, yeji's eyes slowly went gold right when anya asked her if she could help her from her illness. "you..." she pointed the wen fellow that was behind anya, "come forward and remove your hat." the beta commanded, using her ability towards the alpha. "i know you're not just a wen that unnie knows... wen karina." yeji told her, she already knew who is behind the disguises as the scent she caught from anya's scent is an evidence enough that she is the fugitive for kidnapping a child. "strangle yourself."

@✸┊jin yeji ᵇ @☼┊wen karina ᵃ Anya almost felt a sense of relief upon hearing her little sister answer her call, seeing the leader come out to the main room, asking where she had been. The blonde wolf nodded in understanding of the other’s concern, having a hard time making eye contact with the younger. “I’m sorry I worried you. It was an emergency,” Anya stepped forward, gently releasing her partners hand to go hug her sister. “I love you Yeji,” she was almost saying it like she was trying to get Yeji to brace herself, taking the time to hold her sister, down her hair, reassure her somehow that they were safe. “We need your help. My friend in blood bound to Her abusive father. I haven’t seen anything like it. I brought her here because of Jin medicine, and Meilan’s resources to possibly break the tie,” Anya pulled back from the hug, moving back to hold Karina’s hand once again. “It’s one of my Wen packmates.” She tried to break up the information as to not panic Yeji, speaking calmly. “She’s a good person, but the blood tie is causing her to get violent. She’s having episodes of schizophrenia…” Anya stayed in front of Karina as she spoke. “She won’t hurt you. I’ll ensure it. But I need you to trust me most of all…Can you Yeji?”

She never stepped inside the industrious city like this, they wear covered with yellow cloths, flags that indicates that they are in fact at Jin territory. It is a good thing that Anya brought some scent suppressants so that Karina wouldn't get sniffed by Jin wolves.

Karina just followed Anya behind while holding close to her as they get to the apartment where her beloved beta lives with the Meilan leader's family, the alpha looked around before she was pulled by the Jin beta closer. The Wen alpha starts to see unusual things again, but she tries to suppress it as she looked at Anya. She's trying to think, that they came here to treat her. To cure her.

Once they went inside her apartment, the beta told her not to make a move and let her speak with her adoptive sister. Karina nodded and answered, "I understand." But just when she had responded, the Meilan leader appeared, the alpha quickly went behind Anya and tries to look calm and composed.

@✸┊jin anya ᵇ @☼┊wen karina ᵃ she promised to herself that she would never go back to their apartment again now that she's the leader of meilan but since she has unfinished business with her mother, she had to go back there from time to time, almost living in the apartment again with anya. she put some papers on her own desk and starts to work on some contracts she has with some companies in meilan, she don't want to work but also don't want to lazy around because she has the leadership.

yeji was on her room, grabbing some files when she heard her adopted sister's voice. it has been a while since she heard it, she never get to ask why anya was away days after the lan beta's labor. "anya unnie." she called and went to the other, seeing she has company behind her. "where have you been? you've been away for days, i thought you're just getting a fresh air and now you have someone with you." yeji told her with a concerning tone before looking at the comoany she had behind her.

She had bought a heavy salve to put on Karina's body so her scent wouldn't be tracked if anyone in wen went looking for her. The beta also bought a oversized dress and headscarf for Karina to wear that covered the bottom half of her face and hair. Anya wore the jacket and backpack she had since she left to look for her partner, seeing as she wasn't the one in hiding.
Getting to the tower proved no problem as she faked a smile and held Karina's hand, rubbing her thumb over the injured woman's knuckles as they climbed the stairs to get to her adoptive family's apartment. The beta was so nervous, she barely spoke a word since they left the inn, her fingers slightly trembling. Yeji and her momma meant the universe to the orphaned wen. Losing that would shatter literally everything Anya considered good... They were the first people to make her feel safe and genuinely accepted. There was so much at stake...
"Okay," Anya's heart pounded harder in anxiety as they reached the door and she squeezed her girl's hand, too nervous to even look at the other as she just kept her eyes on the door, trying to prep for anything. "She's gonna be upset. Let me talk first and stay behind me." the blonde nodded, mostly to herself then to the alpha, having a hard time keeping cool. She closed her eyes and took a deep breathe, taking the apartment key out from her pocket, unlocking the door before stepping in, keeping the alpha right behind her before shutting it. "Yeji?" Anya called, taking a step and being sure the alpha was right behind her as she looked around carefully for her sister.
