oh man, oh maaan. okay, whew. where to start, I want to firstly thank my parents for always supporting my dreams even if it was to move to a whole different country and start acting, then move again to pursue singing. they believed in me every step of the way. I want to thank everyone at dsf for taking a chance on the weird theater nerd.
most importantly... MINNIES!!! we did it, my dumplings! I think that's everyone ...

jungkook nods in agreement, his smile bittersweet. this had truly been a special night
but!!! worry not, because we have our last performance of the night. record breaking, truly on eof the driving forces of k-pops 5th generation. I am lucky- sometimes- to call these girls my sisters

the two hosts appear on stage for the first time that night. busan you have been a lovely crowd tonight. one of the most expressive i've ever seen at any award ceremony. thank you for making tonight special.. but like most, all good things must come to an end

@☾ kim yongsun ˢᵒˡᵃʳ once the cameras leave, jennie turns towards her two best friends and gives them a hug
we're doing this for you babes
she whispers in yongsuns ear before getting shooed away by their leader, scurrying off to get ready in the 5-10 minutes they were given

@☼ jeon jungkook ʳᵒᵐᵉᵒ The night had been going okay, not incredible, but definitely not as bad as the previous year. Still, they were just getting to the part that mattered most. He tried not to care too much over winners, after all the year had been mostly successful despite the ups and downs and they'd put their all in it. Of course that didn't mean it wouldn't feel good to have their efforts validated or that he didn't feel a little nervous about the announcement. He could tell most of his groupmates were feeling the same and he could see fingers crossed or feel legs twitching under the table, and then within seconds, there was loud cheering and Jungkook was the first one up, the big stage screens reflecting their surprised but ecstatic faces.

He gets up slowly, his own expression quickly twisting into genuine joy and he reaches back to make sure all of them are following, giving both Wooyoung and Yeosang a light pat on the back in appreciation. Although they hadn't been present for this release in specific, they were still receiving the award as Janus.

As they arrived at the center of the stage and the cheers of the audience slowly quietened a little, the leader let his hand came up to rub a little at Jungkook's back as the other cleaned tears of joy out of his eyes. Hanbin allowed Jungkook and Hyunjin to take up the mic and speak up on behalf of them this time. Despite major contributions from most if not all of the Janus members, this album had been intentionally centered on them. He knew how much the two had put into it and how important it was, to all of them, but especially to these two. With small nods of his head as they brought up important names and people to thank, he offered the audience a grateful smile as the other showcased the award once more.

//nodding eagerly to mirror Jennie's words, i cradle the trophy they just handed to us, everyone still looking frazzled that this is happening in this exact way, but who are DIA if not making waves/
Thank you thank you thank you! No words are enough, this year we poured our hearts into those 4 EPs to show you our souls, thank you for giving our art all of this praise, we can't wait to show you more! We couldn't have made it without our moonies, all the amazing people in DSF, Seohyun-sunbaenim, Jessica-sunbaenim, Junhee-seonsaengnim, Nana-seonsaengnim and everyone who participated in the creation of--

thank you 2024 lunar festival! this award means so much to us , we worked really hard and wanted to show a different side of DIA, something more jazzy and vocal. i’m so happy this record was well received and we will continue to make our moonshines proud in the future. thank you so much, moonies you are truly a blessing.

jungkook holds hyunjins hand tightly underneath the table for best album. the two had put their all into this one mini album… his leg bounces in anticipation trying to calm his nerves by not getting his hopes up

JANUS ECLIPSE jungkook is the first to stand up in shock, looking around at the boys in utter shock momentarily before throwing a fist up in the air.
he waits for all of janus to get up and go on stage, following behind. he doesn’t try to hide his tears of relief and happiness. he wipes at his eyes , uncaring of his smudged makeup.

This feels so good. so so so good. flaresss!!!

I kept saying this year will be the year of janus, everyone just needed to wait and see.. and now look! thank you flares for believing in us and in our music, thank you to the DSF staff , the producers, choreographers - shout out Lee Know hyung… but most importantly

Janus Eclipse !

/Janus were mere minutes of being called on stage when they got rushed off backstage to prepare. Of course, seungjoo still found a way to sneak off for a minute or two to catch a glimpse of his friend's first performance as Janus for the award show. He was in his clothes already and his hair didn't need much anyway, slightly messy was his style anyway. That didn't stop the stylists from freaking out a little at his disappearance and immediately rushing him back for last touches to outfit and makeup once Tiffany got on stage to announce the last two awards before their turn. He had just enough time to tap Wooyoung's back as Janus got off stage and past them, throwing him a quick smile/

I guess we will have to see about that, don't sell yourself short though
/he offers a reassuring smile and a small pat to her knee, using the tall towel-covered table for coverage from the audience/
/he stays around for a good few minutes, mostly catching up -even though they talk often- and keeping her company now that she was here by herself. It was only once prompted by the other arriving guests and the staff letting them know it would be starting soon, that he finally got up to head back to Janus assigned table, making sure to give the girl's hair one last light touch/
You put in a lot of work and did really well, whatever happens show them the best stage out of everyone here

Ah, so good to be back on stage, that hunger never really leaves you, even after years of performing. Everyone has been astounding tonight, and I want to echo Jessica-ssi's words - it's unforgettable.
It is an honor to stand here tonight and present the awards in the categories:
"Rookie of the Year" and
"Live Stage Performance of the Year"
