Pre-debut
Despite being born in South Korea, Pixie moved as a toddler to Shanghai, China with her mother after the divorce of her parents. It was here where Pixie participated in a Chinese girl group survival show, competing against 60 other trainees and coming in 8th place. Following the success of the show, she debuted in the temporary girlgroup, 'ACASIA' at the age of 16. The group disbanded 1 year later after sparse promotions were poorly received. Pixie's fame from this show led her to be invited to Beijing to perform a cultural piece in front of thousands.
When Pixie finally graduated high school, she moved from Shanghai, China (where she was living with her mother) to Seoul, South Korea to audition for DSF Entertainment. She joined the company as a trainee in 2022 and eventually debuted in the girl-group 'aurora'. She joined the group in June 2022, helping compose and write many tracks until the group's eventual disbandment in May 2023.
She left the spotlight for a brief period and had a brief career as an influencer on various social medias, posting mostly vlogs of her life and videos of her singing.
Career
March 2008 - July 2009: ACASIAAt 16 years old, Pixie, then known as Eunha, joined the Chinese girl group surival program where she placed 8th overall and eventually debuted in the group ACASIA. Comprised of 10 members, the group had a total of three releases that didn't even reach the charts. Due to the lack of success, the group disbanded before the predicted end of contract. The group debuted with the single 'A Thousand Cups', with a unique historical style that captivated a minority audience (mostly seniors). The group quickly came back with another single album, 'Moonlight Thoughts', before releasing 'Dive Into the Sky' as an attempt to reach out to a more youthful audience. They were teased by the company to have a fourth comeback which was never released to the public.
June 2022- May 2023: aurora
Pixie joined aurora during their second comeback in June 2022. She was introduced along fellow new member at the time, Miso. She participated in the group's promotion until May 2023, with a brief hiatus in December 2022. Pixie was a vocalist for the group as well as a lyricist and composer of many tracks, with special mention to the group's farewell track 'Goodbye'.
Awards and achievements
At the 2024 Lunar Festival Awards, pixie was nominated in various categories and won awards in the following ones: Best Songwriter for the tracks Sneakers and Goodbye by aurora, as well as Rookie of the Year.
pixie also participated in a special stage on the Lunar Festival, joining Ruby Jane of DIA, Moonbyul, and Bomi (NPC) to perform a vocal cover of T.O.P's "Flower Road".
Later the same night, she performed a sensual rendition of her hit track Bloom.
